Nikki was walking down the street in Hogsmeade, her sunglasses covering her light blue eyes. She glanced at a shop window every once and a while, but didn't bother to go inside. She wanted to talk with someone. It didn't matter what they talked about, as long as she could talk about something. Nikki adjusted her bag and looked around.

She spotted someone a few feet in front of her. Georgie! "Georgie! Hey!" She said running over to the Hufflepuff. "Hey, how are you?" She asked when she caught up with her. Nikki lifted her sunglasses and placed them on top of her hair.

Enid nodded her head slightly, listening as the girl explained her parents' professions before then adding that she was illegitimate. "Wow... well, that's definitely one family story I'd never heard before," she muttered a bit thoughtfully, letting her large green eyes roam over the passing crowds. She wasn't quite sure what she could say to all this, though.

Enid giggled and pretended to be scribbling Becks's answers with an invisible quill on an invisible notepad she held in her hand. "Uh-huh, I see," she muttered absentmindedly, scribbling away on the air. She looked up from her hand and rose her eyebrows just very slightly as Becca asked her about herself. "I live in London, too, actually," she replied simply, but refused to give any more detail until she was done with her interrogation. "So, Ms. Latrowski, you said your parents travel a lot," she started, now speaking into her hand which was rolled into a small fist as if it was a microphone, "Please, tell us, why is that? What careers do they follow that require these long and tiring trips?" she asked, now leaning her hand over to Becca so she could speak into the 'microphone'.

Hayden smiled, Ginny was going to come with them. When Evelyn voiced the fact that she'd noticed Ginny didn't see all that happy, Hayden studied the girl more closely. She looked worried about something.

"Hi Luna," Hayden said, linking her free arm with the other girl, "We're planning on going to the Three Broomsticks, you wanna come?" she asked smiling at her friend.

Hayden listened to Ginny talk about the Quidditch Try-outs. I bet you anything that the tryouts are the problem, she thought, I reckon Ginny doesn't think that she went very well. Smiling at her friends she towed them along through the door to the Three Broomsticks.

She was mid spin when she heard her name being called. "Hey Allie!"She completed her spin before facing the girl with a big grin on her face. All the spining had made her see two Allisons.Shaking her head stared at the girl until her vision cleared.

"Or any other adult supervision."Arya pointed this fact out proudly. She had never really been without any adult supervision until he arrived at Hogwarts and she was loving it. Reaching into her pocket to make sure she still had her coupon, Arya smiled and nodded her head at Allison. "Yup, lets use these bad boys! Um, lets use yours first then we can use mine and eat at the same time.What is your for again?"\

"Mine first. Mmmkay." Digging into her pockets she began to frown, "So used to carrying my bunny pack, when I put things into the pockets of my jacket...I can...never find...anything. Aha! Here...looky." Taking out the coupon Allison gave it a wave and handed it to Arya. "The only thing I don't like is the whole having to spend money before getting something..."

Just as she was picking up the piece of paper, Miranda didn't hear a response until she stood straight again. And well, she didn't need to see the person to know who it was. Her jaw dropped a little as she looked up at the giant. "H-hi Oliver." There was that silence again, but not the sad kind, more akward than tense. Her eyes fell on whatever it was that he was holding and she bit her lower lip. Well...he was going to the Hog's Head. "How are you?" She asked, trying to give him a little smile. But she wasn't sure she should even be standing here and talking to him. The last time they had said bye, Oliver had been the one to walk away first. Right?

But if he didn't want to talk, he could just tell her. Like he had done the other day. Only, hopefully, not as harsh. "You got a voucher too... What, uh, freebie did you get?" Please don't shout at me...

Georgiana spun around hearing her name. She smiled spotting Nikki, the girl she'd met the other day at the lake. "Nikki! Hi!" she said as she slowed down so the girl could catch up. She smiled at her.

"I'm alright, just doing some shopping for a friend's birthday." That was the hard thing! She'd known Barry for what? A day! Oh mann! And already she'd devoloped a crush to. Bloody brilliant. "How about you though? I haven't seen you for a while! What've you been up to?"

"Oh, found anything yet?" Nikki asked. She loved shopping for birthday presents. Why? She had no idea. Maybe because she liked seeing the persons face when they unwrapped the present. "I good. Just a little bored. Hogsmeade seems empty. It's usually really busy." Nikki said looking around the slightly desereted street.

Taking the coupon, Arya looked from it to all stores as they walked. Why on earth she was leading no one knew, but she wasn't gonna complain, she was always up for a good adventure. "Well most coupons always come with a catch. Atleast its only 5 galleons, it could be more."She looked back from the coupon to the store signs, wondering if they were goin in the right direction.

What were the chances, eh? Of all the people who could have bumped into him... But he wasn't sorry to see her. More sort of melancholy. Because of, not the argument, but what he had said to her before he walked her back to the school.

He looked down at her, a frown of pain on his face and the awkward silence wasn't helping the situation at all. Miranda's question broke the silence and he attempted to smooth out his expression, but failed. He was going to give himself a headache with all this... frowning. “I'm... you know.” He said softly. “I can't complain.” A dismissive shrug of the shoulder. “And yourself? You got warmed up in your common room?” Inane small talk. It seemed wrong given what had happened at the lake between them.

But he didn't want to walk away. Miranda – well, she was special. Not like anyone he had met before because she didn't stand for the crap he dished out... and she had that sweet Hufflepuff nature. He looked at the voucher in his hand. “Ur.. butterbeer. What about you?” A hand reached up and he scratched the back of his head in an awkward fashion. A rare nervous gesture from this over-confident boy. “Do you... I mean.. do you fancy joining me? I could use the company.” He gave her a weak yet genuine smile and prepared himself for her negative reply.

Georgiana chuckled and shook her head, "Not a clue. I'm not sure whether to get him a book, something from honeydukes or what!" She looked around the street, it was a little empty. What was up with that? "Your right, it is pretty calm here..." from what she'd heard, Hogsmeade was never calm, there was supposedly always people around. So why not today? She smiled at Nicky, "Care to help me find something?" she asked with a grin.

Her thumb nail had nearly found her mouth when the weird silence was broken by his answer. Ugh, this felt so wrong. She wanted to walk away and stuff her mouth with chocolate, but she also wanted to talk to the boy...because, even though he was the most annoying person she'd met, he was really nice underneath it all.

"Good to hear..." She nodded and her eyes fell on the paper again, she was starting to scrunch it up with worry. "I'm good..." A faint crooked smile followed her response. "Yeah...thanks." Did he really care, or was it just a question that didn't have much meaning behind it? "I've, uh, been meaning to return your robe... there just hasn't..." There had been lots of time. But courage? Not so much.

Oh, he had butterbeer too. Stupidly, she thought they could've swapped if he had gotten cake. But... Nah. Miranda was ready to tell him he could have it, she wasn't a Butterbeer fanatic and she obviously knew how akward it would be if someone made an excuse not to go in together. But his question caught her off guard and she looked at him.
Would it be a good idea to join him? Miranda really wanted to, but thinking back on all the things that had happened every time they had met... It wasn't something she wanted to relive again. The added stress from school and Quidditch were not making her feel better.

She opened and closed her mouth a few times before answering. Ugh, she was sad. "I'm not..." ...sure? She trailed off, thinking and rethinking. Maybe he just asked her to be polite. You know, people did that even though they truly meant the opposite. "I'm not much of a butterbeer person... I was actually hunting down some chocolate." The corner of her lips twitched. "But here..." she reached out her voucher to Oliver. "Maybe you'll find someone nice to invite..." Her eyes locked onto his. She was regretting what she just said...

But maybe, it was for the best?

"Gladrags...I see it! Keep on walking! Aw, come on Arya look over there!" Seeing as Arya had been looking confused Allison pointed towards the sign. Grinning at her, she intertwined her arm with Arya's and rushed them both towards the shop. There was shopping to do and when a girl had to shop a girl had to shop. Not that she knew anything about it. After all her mom usually did the shopping.

"Why not get him both? It would save you the trouble. And you wouldn't feel bad if you didn't get him the right thing." Nikki suggested. Something from Honeydukes would be nice. She needed to go there anyway. She wanted to stack up on sweets. She could eat them while she studied for OWLs. "I'd love to join you!" Nikki said. "Where to first? Honeydukes prehaps?" She asked looking around at the shops.

Gold turned round -- and her eyes brightened. "Dylan," she said, reaching out to give him a hug. A friends!hug. Because she was pretty sure they weren't all enemies, anymore.

"How are you? I wasn't sure if you remembered about the butterbeer." She shrugged, then grinned.

His robe? He shrugged. “It's ok. I know you've been busy with Quiddtich Tryouts.” 'That, and you didn't want to see me.' He added silently. He had watched the tryouts, incidentally.. but far away.. where Miranda wouldn't see him. She was a good captain. No... she was a fantastic captain. He really did envy her skills out there.

Oliver grimaced at Miranda's hesitant response to his question. No. Of course she didn't want to. Stupid boy. Why should she want to have anything to do with him after he said what he did? He smiled a pale smile at the mention of chocolate. She had such a weakness for the stuff. He frowned and looked down at the voucher as she held it out to him. Wasn't she headed to the Hogs Head when she bumped into him? He swallowed, clearly hurt by this, and right now he didn't have anything he could hide behind. “I-I don't want that.” He said with a shake of the head. He didn't want to invite anyone else. “You should go to the main street – there might be someone there you could swap with for a voucher for chocolate or something.” He shrugged and nodded at her. “Well.. it was good to see you again. Look after yourself, Miranda.” He began to walk past her.

Butterbeer? He didn't feel like it any more and once she was out of sight, he was going to head back to the castle.

Georgie nodded, "That sounds like a good idea." she replied, that would save her the trouble of worrying too. Plus Georgie wanted to get a little something for herself too. It was nice to have something to munch on while she was reading. She smiled at Nicky, "Awesome!" she replied then nodded, "Honeydukes sounds like a good first place to stop." she chuckled lightly. "So anything fun and exciting happen since I last saw you?"

Arya grined back at Allison, the girl knew her all to well.Keeping there arms intertwined, she walked with Allison to the shop. She could tell that Allison was going to go crazy with shoping when they got in there. And while shoping wasn't the first thing on her favorite things to do list, it was pretty high up.

Nikki always had great ideas! And she knew it, hehe.

"Great, come on let's go." Nikki said as they began to head for Honeydukes. "Nothing intersting's happend." Nikki said shaking her head. "I've just been busy with homework and studying for the OWLs." Yes it was a little early to start studying, but if she didn't pass, her father would disinherit her, that was something Nikki didn't want!

Becca laughed for a split second, also taking down Enid's information and then composed herself. "My parents work for a top secret government agency. They cook there, actually." Becca nodded "I can't say much about the agency, but let's say they bring home many new cuisines as well as many interesting stories. And your parental figures, their occupations, Ma'm?"

Tryouts? "Oh, yeah... It's been...crazy." She shrugged and smiled akwardly. Her gaze fell on what was going on around them. Everyone seemed to be busy having fun out here...whatever they were doing.

It felt like she was holding out the piece of paper for a very long time, and she couldn't look at him any more because she had an idea that she'd just hurt him. That, and the indifferent repsonse he gave her made her wonder if he had cared.

And then he just started to walk away. Again. And his last words sounded so...final, like something you said to a person you would never meet again. She sighed and felt this sadness wheigh her down. Her shoulders slumped, her head dropped and she closed her eyes. "I don't want to fight with you anymore..." she added weakly. But she knew Oliver had probably walked away faster than ever and hadn't even heard her. Would they ever become friends again? It was silly, she thought, but she missed him. Even though he got on her nerves. Even though he sometimes hurt her feelings. Still, there was something there.

Sidney watched the boys go into the pub. Well that's one place I won't be going this afternoon. I wonder what he did to Professor Lawson. It can't have been too bad. I mean Professor Lawson and what's his name are still friends. Boys!!! I think I need a chocolate fix now. Sidney walks down the street looking for Honey Dukes.

Enid's eyebrows rose as Becca explained to her what her parents did. "Impressive, very impressive," she muttered as she 'wrote' down the girl's response on her hand. As Becca then asked her what her parents did for a living, a small and faint smile came to Enid's lips. "Nothing nearly half as fancy as yours, I can assure you that," she said with a soft chuckle. "My dad's a carpenter... he makes some really pretty stuff. Wood really seems to like him; me - not so much." She shook her head slightly. "And my mum's a musician, she performs in some symphonies and all. She does really well, though, because she's blind... so it attracts a little more attention than the usual," she explained. "Violins really seem to like her; me - not so much." She chuckled softly.

Georgiana nodded, she forgot Nicky was a year older than herself. "Ah, OWL's, stressing already then?" Georgie asked as stepped in sync with Nicky. Georgie was so glad she was a 4th year. Though she hadn't met a single 4th year hufflepuff like herself.

Seems her friends were older, wait no! Rex was a fourth year! Kay was second and Barry...Barry was seventh. Which meant this was his last year...Gah! No! No thinking about Barry leaving! She shook herself and forced a smile onto her face. Nothing was wrong, nothing was wrong, nothing was wrong!

"I'm not stressing...yet." Nikki said giggling nervously. She was probably going to faint during the examination. That or throw up, either one. They arrived outside of Honeydukes. "I can't wait to go inside! The smell of all those sweets...it makes me drool..."
