Lucy walked to Madame Puddifoot's, trying to forget the memories associated with it--love potions and a crazy night. She shook her head and entered, looking for her Cupcake. Lucy smiled at the greeting he gave her and then leaned on hand. Oh. He wanted to know why she had been crying. Well, the obvious reason was because TrainGirl was ruining her life by interfering. But she couldn't tell Ty that--afterall, he had asked her to be nice to her. Which actually made her want to cry because believe or not, she had been trying to be nice to her. "Yes, really," said Kiri, smiling at Lavi's disbelief. "They're not much good in Quidditch, but everywhere else, they definitely come in handy. Look," she continued, putting up a finger for each item, "they make you look smart, they give your face structure, you have something to fiddle around with if you're nervous, they're a ready-made excuse to get out of doing sports, aaand... I dunno." Kiri's smile turned into a huge grin. "You can focus the sunlight to start a fire?" She mimicked holding a lens.

Kiri shrugged. "Maybe," she said simply, hoping that the next try-out session would be more successful. She didn't really feel like talking about Quidditch - after all the excitement of being made captain and buying a broom and so on, this had been a bit of a let-down. Which, Kiri supposed, was part of Quidditch as well. And anyway, once she got her team together, things would improve. That thought brightened her up a bit.

Her hand was still outstretched over the table. As Lavi jumped up, she nearly knocked the little bouquet of (annoyingly) pinkish flowers over that adorned each table. What was he shouting about?
"Calm down, calm down," she said, feeling the eyes of a few of the snuggled-up couples on them. They'd probably been interrupted mid-snog or something. Kiri felt like sticking her tongue out at them. "The coupon's only good for cake, yes, but maybe we can... ask them? If they could make an exception and get you some waffles? The cakes're really good, though. Including the fruit cake."

Lavi noticed that the girl didn't wanted to talk about Quidditch anymore. He thought it was a bit odd cause she is the Captain, and he thought she would happily talk about it, but if she didn't wanted to then he too would stop. Lavi kept smiling and was actually starting to get fun. It wasn't so bad talking to a girl. He always thought it would be scary but this is the third time he had talked to them! first Shana in diagon Alley , then Lucy...talking about Lucy, Lavi noticed the girl walking inside the room. He hadn't reconized her at first because he was used with the blonde hair..but now it was red!

Lavi smiled broadly and waved at her , but then realised she was with a boy and he quickly pretended to scratch his head again. Trying to cover up his wave. Lavi turned around and decided to pay all his attention to Kiri. Oh goooosh , this was so odd! He hardly even knew her so you would think there would be enough questions but honestly he couldn't think of any! He nervously tapped with his finger on the table. Hmm classes was a good subject right? better than nothing! "So..erm , what's your favorite class?" Gosh those were such cliche questions but he just didn't know what else to ask, and it was making him nervous!

Tyler silently chuckled to himself. He thought he knew the reason, but Lucy had to tell him. Ty could've guessed it was because of Cadence but she cries too much herself. He shurgged and nodded and Luce told him because it was just a bad day. Then again, she wasn't a really good liar. "Alright," he said.

Looking over to the menu, Ty tried to decide what he wanted to get. But of course he was going to get something for Luce as well. "Do you want anything?"

He didn't like Butterbeer, which was probabaly a crime here, but he'd better like cheesecake. Lucy pretended to wipe her brow when he said he liked cheesecake. "Phew! You got lucky this time," She joked as he walked up to the counter to order their food. While he was gone, Lucy twirled her hair on her finger and watched the other people. Well, she wasn't so nervous anymore, but it was still a bit uncomfortable. Maybe they shouldn't have called it a date--maybe it was the word that bothered her. She would just pretend it was an outing or something.

She was glad when he asked her about Christmas--a new topic they hadn't discussed before. "Umm, well I was gonna go back home, but now I realize it might not be that much fun. I'd be all alone, but I'd get to see my parents..." And Betty, She thought in her head. She shrugged and took another bite of her cheesecake. "So I really don't know yet. What about you?" She asked, wondering if he was going to go back to America to visit his parents.

And then her eyes got big when he asked her to go to New York with him--really? He really wanted her to go with him? Lucy was so surprised and excited at the same time. She felt exactly the way she did before they starting going out; how her heart would beat excitedly everytime they were together. Now she felt like he was probably one of the best things that had happened to her this year. "I would love to go to New York with you," She finally said breathlessly, and flashed Ty a smile. "That sounds...great. And I'm pretty sure my parents won't mind--they're always telling me to find people my age to hang out with," She said with a shaky laugh. She really loved spending time with Tyler--there was something more than 'her liking him' going on here.

"Why, what's wrong with where you live?" She asked him with her eyebrows raised. And then she had the perfect idea. If he was taking her to New York over Christmas, then she would take him to her house over the summer or something. That would be really nice.

She loved it there, and thought about how different it would be to stay in an appartment for a change.
As he talked about the modeling, Lucy giggled. "Aww, but I wanna see you modeling!" She said with a laugh and reached across to poke him.
