Lucy grinned at him and kept running. "Um, I don't know, we'll decided when we get to the main street!" She said with a laugh.

Nymphy realized that he had passed up this paticular statue when drawing the cool parts of the castle. He dedcided to sit down and hash out a decent sketch. WHen he finished it looked amazing! He put it in his folder and tucked the folder into his school bag and trode off, almost skipping with joy.

Cela detoured a little, lost in thought. She wasn't sure whether she should write to Copernicus and tell him about all the things she was worrying about, but she didn't want for him to worry about her and if he knew that she was almost on academic probation...

She sighed and stopped to look at the statue, not really seeing anything at all. She tugged the paper bag out of her pocket, unfolded it and looked down at her name written on the side, not seeing all that much else besides that.

Having stomped up the stairs to the sixth floor, only to find no Celandine, Raiden stomped up another staircase, determined to find her. If she was already in her common room, he'd wait. Some other Ravenclaw had to come that way eventually, and he'd send them in after her.

Luckily, that wasn't necessary. He spied her as he made his way down the hall, and hurried to catch up with her. She was just standing there, looking at something... upon reaching her, Raiden grabbed her arm and roughly turned her to face him.

"What are you playing at?" he demanded, pointing down the hall toward the staircase, his right hand still on her upper arm. "I don't care if you're losing your mind or not, there's no good reason for you to have just done that."

Obviously she'd done something. Set the latch to break upon command, or shot off a spell at it from the staircase. Something. Anything. There was no other way she could know the thing would bust, was there.

Cela's eyes widened and when Raiden grabbed her arm, her hand spasmed, the paper bag drifting to the floor in all its fresh, tear stained glory. She flicked her eyes quickly in the direction he indicated, her expression genuinely puzzled. He meant... her walking off? Maybe?

"I... didn't think you wanted to talk anymore." Cela managed a choked little whisper , screwing up the tissue in her free hand. Thats why she'd left. That and to get some bruise healing paste, which she'd do when she got to her common room.

"And what, your solution to that was to snap the window lock and scare the hell out of me?" he said furiously, a mixed look of confusion and annoyance on his face. "What exactly did you prove with that?"

Because last he'd checked, breaking school property was not only not a good way to strike up conversation, but it was kinda against the rules and... really dumb. Did she think that he'd follow her up here and strike up a conversation or something? Surely she... wasn't so... it wasn't possible.

It was only because he was so outright annoyed that he was staring at her face, and thus didn't notice the bag as she dropped it.

"I... don't understand." Cela was chewing at her lip furiously now as she looked up at Raiden. What window lock? This was like...

Cela went pale.

It was like how she got in trouble at home. Except Raiden wouldn't say or do... stuff? She eyed his hand on her arm and winced a little.

"I didn't break anything."

This was just...

She... it... just... ugh. UGH. Raiden couldn't even find words, he was that annoyed. Exasperated, he let go of her arm and took a step back, his eyes closing to block out the sight of her and his hand going up to rub his forehead. There it was. The headache he'd so been looking forward to. Joy of unbridled jooooys.

"Well, one can only assume that since you knew it was going to break, that you broke it. Or did something to make it break." Letting out a long sigh, he... tried to get the boiling anger back under control. How was it that Celandine Toussaint was the only one that ever managed to put him in this mood? "Or do you have some explanation to the contrary."

There really wasn't any other explanation. Well there was, but that wasn't anything to do with her.

Cela gave Raiden a panicked look, not knowing what to say since it wasn't often she was confronted like this. She started to hyperventilate a bit.

"I didn't... I don't... I didn't..."

As soon as he let of her, she started to sway and then she collapsed in a little sobbing heap.

"Its nothing. I'm sorry."

Raiden's stomach twisted gruesomely.

She was crying. He had made Celandine Toussaint cry. And yet...

Somehow, he couldn't feel completely sorry for that. Because he hadn't started this whole thing. It was not his fault that they'd arrived at this point, with Cela sitting on the floor crying and him standing there, still furious about everything.

"Stop that," he mumbled, staring at the floor two feet away from her. Just because he didn't feel as sorry as he should have didn't mean he didn't feel sorry at all. It was just... dampened. She'd messed up his ability to feel sorry for her. "Why are you crying."

For someone whose face was always so open, Raiden's was surprisingly blank at that moment. He made no move to get her up off the floor, something he would normally do immediately, with anyone who had fallen. Nor did he make any noticeable motion to comfort her. He just... stared.

"You'll only hate me more if I tell you. I knew you would if I made you angry, but I did it anyway." She hiccupped and had to take a shaky breath before she could continue chattering on in what was clearly a bundle of nerves working itself into a panic.

"And there are bad things and I think people are getting hurt and I don't know what to do and nobody believes me and I'm scared and I miss you being my friend and Professor Vindictus wants to put me on academic probation and I think Tibi hates me too and I miss Copernicus and Plymouth and Willow and Dom-in-ick and Tino and even sometimes I miss Evolette even though she kissed Copernicus that time and Nico made her sad and she makes him cry and he pretends like everything is okay but it isn't and he's stuck and he can't help me because he can't even help himself and I keep having bad dreams about Professor Kazimeriz being sick and I need my wand and I was really scared in Professor Duskurk's lesson because I didn't want to be the only one that knew how and I do know how and I missed my homework and I haven't earned many points and Ravenclaw doesn't tha-aa-ank me-ee-ee." Cela trailed off into a wailing little sob which she cut short by clamping her hand over her mouth.

Raiden listened. It was difficult, and he got lost a few times, but he listened. However... his brain was stuck on the very first thing she'd said.

It finally clicked into place.

"You did that on purpose." His voice was flat, toneless and empty; what was meant to be a question came out as a mere statement. At that moment, it didn't matter that people were getting hurt and she thought Kazimeriz was getting sick and academic probation and nobody said thank you to her for Merlin only knew what. At that moment, Raiden was going to be extremely selfish and focus on that one sentence.

It felt like someone had punched him in the stomach. Raiden's breathing went all funny, and he took another step back, away from Celandine Toussaint.

Why would she do that?

"You... why would you do that to me. You don't even realise how much you hurt other people sometimes, do you." He... he had to leave. He had to get out of here, away from her and... just... this. "Friends don't... do that to each other, Celandine Toussaint."

His hands were shaking at his sides, whether from rage or the sheer overwhelming sensation of his world crashing down around him he did not know. Shaking his head, as if such an action would clear away everything that she'd said, he took a jagged, deep breath and turned away from her.

"Don't... talk to me anymore." His voice did not crack in the middle of that sentence, or at least he chose to believe that. Clenching his teeth, fighting back the nausea, Raiden stared hard at the floor in front of his feet for a long moment before purposefully starting down the hall toward the staircase.

"No..." Cela trailed off helplessly, quite unable to explain anything. A fine mess she was in now and nobody to help her out. It was the most alone she'd ever felt and somehow it was her own doing. All because of her messed up head and ability to know stuff and because she was pretty and boys liked her and she didn't like them back so she made them hurt...

"Don't go." It was probably too late. Sobbing to herself she crawled into the little gap behind the statue, trying to hide away from all the hard stuff, just like she used to when she was little.

After a little while, Cela unfurled herself and ghosted towards the library.

Fia made her way towards the seventh floor corridor in hopes to catch a glimpse of Miles. The incident in the stands began slightly strange but ended okay. In her hands she held a rather large, wrapped birthday gift for Miles, one that contained some of his favorite chocolate with a new pair of jeans and shirt for him to wear during the summer months. Like the boy needed clothing. She stood next to the statue and waited for a little bit knowing that Miles would be around soon...ish.

Miles ran/walked/skipped up the stairs toward his common room humming to himself. He'd had a great day he got his finals done and wasn't having any issues. The only thing that could make his day better...if Fi had free time and could hang out. Reaching the landing he headed down the corridor and spotted Fi standing there. "Fi!!!" he yelled as he hurried to her and wrapped his arms around her tightly. Pulling back with a grin he looked down at the package in her hands, "What's that?"

Fia wrapped her arms around Miles' neck, enjoying the fact that he may have been hyper but seeing him this excited to see her meant so much more to her. She smiled as he asked about the package, pushing it towards him.

"Happy Birthday." Oh how she loved surprises and this was going to be a surprise to her as she watched his reaction.

Miles smiled and looked down at the package that she was handing to him. "Happy B...but Fi it's June. My birthday was in April." He laughed and looked down at the wrapped package. Taking the package from her he smiled and kissed her cheek. "Thanks love."

Opening the package slowly he looked at her and grinned. "Is this chocolate I see....." Pulling off the wrapping paper again he ginned, "IT IS! And the good stuff to. Wait...how'd you get it?" Even he didn't know where his mum was able to get it.

Wow! Did it really take a genius to figure out she was late with his birthday present? "Yes my dear Ravie, it is June and your present it a little late." Fia sighed as she rolled her eyes. "Like when have I seen you? On the way somewhere? In the stands?" She wasn't planned either of those times to give out presents.

"That is one to ask my father," she grinned as she knew the boy would love the chocolate fix he was about to have. "I'm sure your mother had something to do with him find it." She winked then linked her arm into his even though he was still looking at his present from her.

"Were you going anywhere particular? If so, would you like some company?"

Miles laughed as Fia made fun of him and stuck his tongue out at her. "A little late, think I should charge you interest." he said with a smirk and a little sparkle in his eyes that meant nothing but trouble. "Sure? Why not? Could have owled me you know," he teased her light heartedly. "You know..hey Miles, I've a gift for you so come see me."

"Or my Aunt...I think she has something for your dad." He smirked and leaned into her as she linked her arm through his. He opened the box more to try and get a look at what else was in there, "Is that..clothes?" He raised an eyebrow and shook his head, "Nope you're right definitely my mother."

"Was I going anywhere...only to the common room. I'm done for the rest of the term. So you can accompany me anywhere you please," he said with a laugh and kissed her cheek.

It didn't take much for Fia to notice the gleam in his eye as he teased her playfully. She reached up and kissed Miles on the cheek followed by a bright smile. "I love you."

Her eyes then fell towards the box as he opened it more to reveal the clothing. "Hey! I like those. I thought they would look...rather cute on you." She raised a brow as she turned her head towards him, tightening her linked arm to his. "Then let's roam the castle. We are free to go, right?" Were they? He was a Prefect, he would know.

Miles smiled as Fia kissed his cheek, "I love you too Fi." Looking down at the box he laughed, "Cute huh...I guess you can see this summer." He grinned at her as she tightened her arm in his. Now this was how it was meant to be. "As far as I know we can."

Pulling her down the hall he smiled, "Where shall we go then?"

"First..." Fia pulled her wand from her pocket, closed the box back up with Mile's birthday presents inside then sent the package up to his room. She giggled as the box danced lightly in the air down the hallway and poofed around the corner towards his room. "I didn't want to carry that everywhere.

"Now, I think we need to go visit some staff for a bit. What about Professor V?" It would be nice to see some of the professors and staff before they left as there was just a part of herself that felt as if she might not see them again, though that was just a crazy feeling but still. It was there every year close to the end of term since most of the time there were professors and staff members that left.

Miles raised an eyebrow as he heard Fi speak and then pull out her wand. What was she....oh... He watched as the box was taken from his hands and then sent upstairs, "Well it's not like it weighted a ton..." he said with a laugh and a shrug. "Just hope no one else gets to the chocolate that's in there..."

"We do?" Well not quite what he had in mind but...that would work. "Alright. I'm sure he'd just love to see me," he said with a smirk and wrapped his arm around Fia tightly. "So what are we doing this summer?" he asked as he let go and headed back down the stairs.

"Ohhh, don't look so sad," Fia playfully pouted as she could tell by the sound of his voice that Miles had something in mind. "I'm game for whatever you want to do if you don't want to visit Professor V but at this point in time, I would like to speak with him. He did help me and I need to thank him for that."

And then came the sly yet tasteful grin. "Yes. Umm...about the summer..." She looked as though she was up to something, and she was. "Yeah. Umm, you and...err...Torin are...going to be detained for a week...weekend...however long Brody and I need for a shopping trip to Paris."

Miles pretended to pout and then laughed, "Alright fine I won't be sad." As he listened to Fia speak his eyebrows drew down in confusion, "Wait...what did he help you with?"

As he asked about the summer and saw her grin he raised an eyebrow. Did she have plans already? Was she not going to spend it with him? What did that mean...? Those were the thoughts that ran through his head until he saw the look in her eye and his curiousity was peaked. "We're going to Paris? You know Bothari has to come too right? Unless you can manage to lie to my dad since I've never been able to." But that meant more alone time with her, and much needed alone time at that since they hadn't been alone most of the term.
