There was absolutely no way Professor Duskurk would open his classroom without being present. He had carefully arranged the desks into a horseshoe around the very edge of the classroom so that everyone had a clear view of the blackboard at the front of the classroom and the center floor. In front of the blackboard was a small table covered with a black cloth. There were clear outlines of something other than the table under the cloth, but that was all. Professor Duskurk stood beside the door with a clipboard. "Please state your name and then take the first desk available, working clockwise around the room," he said in a no nonsense voice as each student entered the room. ooc: please act as if your character has been here the whole time if you don't get online before we begin and just add an ooc note for me with your character name. Your names will be added to the roll in the order in which you join us. Quote:

"And the spells are ILLEGAL, Thomas, whether that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside or not. Against the law. Doing them in your classroom broke the law, and each of these children today could legally be shipped off to Azkaban just for uttering the incantation with a wand in their hand."
