Brody sighed, pushing the food away, as she listened to Fia. She wanted to make Fia feel better. Oh. Dear. Trust it to be this that Miles and Fia had been talking about. Well she could hardly tell Fia that Miles was thinking about proposing next year. That would not do, and she'd promised Miles that she wouldn't tell. She would just have to lie, and she was a pretty good lier, so it was probably a good thing really.

"I understand Fia." She slipped her hand into Fia's squeezing it. She was here for her sister, more than she would be there for Miles, because her and Fia were blood related. "I don't know what I'd do if Torin said about this..." She admitted quietly, a small smile in Fia's direction. The main reason for that was, compared to Fia and Miles relationship, there's wasn't too strong, yesa they loved each other, but their had been so many hurdles in their relationship. "Talk about it to Him fi.....make him understand. He loves you. He will understand."

Avery had never heard a boy talk so much. She kina liked it. Most boys gave you one word answers. "Are you Kay's boyfriend?" Avery blurted it out randomly, he did kiss her on the check after all, she wanted to know now. "Oops...Sorry, that was rude" Avery realized that her 11 year old little girl was showing again. She felt so mature some times and other times she acted very childish.

Returning from the weird stuck Professors, Miranda sat down by the Hufflepuff table again and started grabbing plates of food towards her. There was the trusty chicken pie and the nice sallad, which she hadn't actually eaten much of before, but now was totally up to trying new things. That was her motto, she guessed. After what had happened this term, you shouldn't let things slip by you... no matter what it was.

She piled up some olives ontop of the sallad and started to chew her way through it, with nothing much in mind than to get her plate empty.

Uh.

Oliver who was sitting at his own table spotted the familiar petite frame of Miranda returning to her table. He ran a hand through his hair to make sure there was no carrot still in there and stood. He wandered over, a smile on his lips as he approached the cosy yellow and black decorated table of his favourite house.

He took a pew next to Miranda who was eating salad? Healthy. And also weird. Where was the chocolate cake? “Hey.” He said. “Mind if I join you?” He glanced at the other puffs not sure he would be welcome here after the fun disaster of the opening feast, before taking a seat anyway.

Shrug. What did he care? heh.

“So I owled my dad about staying with you. I'll stay at his tonight just so I can collect a few things and then I'll be all set to go.” The words made him smile warmly; all anxiety about going to his dad's had been eliminated thanks to Miranda. And boy, Summer was going to be such a laugh.

Corn. Corn. Pickle. Onion...? Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeegh!
Miranda made a face and picked the onion from her mouth, very unlady like, and sloshed it onto her plate. Weird taste in mouth. Some chicken pie would fix that.

She had just taking a large bite when he felt someone sitting beside her but payed them no mind as she focused on the pie, but his voice made her turn her head around at him. She chewed and lifted her head in a greeting, and then shook it as he asked to sit down. Miranda snorted (as best she could considering the food in her mouth) at the thought that he would probably not care if she had said no - he would've sat down anyways. Hehe.

Her eyebrows rose as he started to talk about Owling his dad, and swallowed her food down kinnda hard, making her pull a face. Some pumpkin juice would fix that. "Oh, that's good." She said after drinking, "I've Owled my parents, they are setting up the camp and all that... so you can come over whenever." Ummmmm... "You want us to pick you up? We can come get you at your house?" She took another big bite of the pie but didn't take her eyes off the boy.

Oliver pulled a disgusted face as he approached the table just as Miranda very delicately reached into her mouth and pulled out a piece of onion. Urgh. For such a feminine looking girl, she had some really gross habits.

Sitting next to the girl who now had her mouth so stuffed full of pie she couldn't reply to his question, he smirked at her as she shook her head and merely raised his eyebrows at her. He couldn't hear her so it didn't count. Besides.. he could sit where the hell he liked. hehe.

He was glad she had informed her parents. It would be more than a little awkward if their daughter turned up on the front door step with some strange Slytherin boy. “Thanks, Miranda.” He said gratefully. He grimaced when she asked if her mum and dad should pick him up from home and then shook his head vigorously. No.. really, no! One of them was a muggle – Emmanuel would be so rude; snide; snotty just for that reason alone. It made Oliver cringe just thinking about it. “I'll make my own way over." He said quickly. "Can I get there by floo?” Otherwise it was relying on either public transport.. or asking one of his brothers to apparate with him. "Where do you live?" He was sure Miranda had told him before, but his memory failed him.. possibly due to all the knocks to the head he'd received this year.

Miranda stopped chewing and glanced at Oliver, giving him a small smile. Meh, it would be fun having him around...aslong as he kept his hands away from her forehead. Ack, how she REALLY disliked when he either poked, slapped or...just touched her forehead in any way.
And, he didn't need to thank her - he would've done the same for her.

Resuming her chewing, Miranda frowned a little as the boy shook his head quite...alot, but she smoothed out her features quickly. She swallowed to answer him. "Oh, allright." He could get there by himself... that's fine. Miranda would just have to forewarn her parents that a boy was going to poof out of their fireplace. Hehe. "Yes, ofcourse," she smiled and nodded, taking another swig of her juice.

Right, he'll be needing an adress and stuff. "My house is over at The Cotswolds, (ooc:somewhere, *blink*) "...it's easy to find. You just go over the field next to the train station and then to the left of the big mill, and after that, you need to follow the-" (ooc:more made up stuff) Eh. "Nevermind, I'll write it down on a piece of parchment. But if you're flooing, there wont be a problem to get to my house..." She nodded again and took another big bite of the chikenz pieee, trying to grin without showing Oliver the contents of her mouth. Hehehe.

"Well, no Kay is my sister" Rex told Avery laughing really hard. " Yes, Kay is my girlfriend" Rex said to Avery. " No, you are not rude in asking me that question" Rex explained to Avery. " Where were you born?" rex asked Avery.
