"Oh, yeaaaah," Reese replied. She had forgotten for a moment that her boyfriend didn't like chocolate, which in her opinion, was the WEIRDEST thing she had ever heard! Who didn't like chocolate? "You should keep a box or two in your pocket all times just for me," she suggested. "Because you know how I am with chocolate frogs." And that was an addiction she needed to cure real soon before she gained 100 pounds! "Oh, no. It's not like that at all," she responded with an eye roll. "But I don't want this kind of food, I want chocolate..."

She trailed off once her eyes met the most beautifulest chocolate chip cookie she had ever seen! Oh, yes. That was chocolate, it would do for now. She tried reaching her arms across he table the table to get the cookie, but i was TOO far away! Not. Cool. Seeing as she wasn't going to get that until she was unglued, she reached for another roll instead.

"Mhmmmm." She bit into her roll as she listened to him talk. Did he REALLY think vanishing the bench would be a GOOD thing if it happened? Like...really? "If you make the bench disappear, you better be planning on catching me," she said. No joke. "And if you make the bench disappear, then everyone down the bench will fall," she added as she thrusted her arm towards the direction of where everyone was sitting, totally forgetting the fact that she thrusted the arm with the roll, which had sent the roll flying halfway across the table.

Oops?

She quickly turned around before she noticed if it had hit anybody or not. And then she heard Brody's voice. ZOMG, the roll didn't hit her, did it?! It was only when she had heard her friend ask what they were doing here when she realized that she didn't come over here to yell at her for getting hit by the roll. The Prefect waited until Jack was finished talking to her before she spilled the beans, "You're boyfriend glued us to the seat." Why else would they be sitting here like outcasts at the table full of Hufflepuffs?

Kay was happy that her new friends wanted to hang out with her over the summer. "That would be great. We could meet sometime over the summer or us guys could come see me at my family's castle. It would be great fun." Kay said smiling and hoping that they would like to hang out.


Kay heard Rex and looked around to find him. Seeing him she waved and called out to him. "Rex, Over here. Please come sit by me." She said smiling. It was the end of term and that meant that they would get to travel together.

Cadence nodded, mouth still full of food as Avery responded. When she finally swallowed, Kay was talking about the summer. Cadence's eyes widened. Castle? And she thought HER house was going to be the hang-out spot for the summer what with her swimming pool and trampoline and in-home movie theater, but if Kay had a castle... that was pretty epic! "Your family lives in a castle?!" she asked curiously.

And then someone was asking for Kay and Kay called the boy over. Cadence barely caught that his name was Rex. "Yes, please, join us! I'm Cadence, by the way! I don't think we've met!" she said to him with a smile.

"But then I'd have to carry a purse," Jack said with a grin. "You know, to keep all the frogs in. Then I'd like weird. Like Torin. We can't have that now, can we?" he asked with a chuckle. He tried to move a bit on the bench but with no success. GRRRRR. Torin must have used some super drying glue or something. "And chocolate isn't REAL food! It doesn't give you anything except cavities," he said, crossing his arms. That was precisely why he didn't eat it, and he had a clean bill of health from the dentist to prove that HE WAS RIGHT!

"Well, lucky for you and everyone else, the bench WON'T vanish," he told her, nodding his head. "Just the glue...seriously! When you use it on a ruined potion, does the cauldron go with it? Noooo! See? Perfectly safe!" he assured her. She was going to have to get used to cleaning like a Muggle if she didn't like using Evanesco! That was like...the best goo-cleaner in the world!

"You have a castle?" Avery echoed Cady. "That's so cool, You guys are never going to want to come to my house...we have nothing!" Avery sighed, man her friends were soo cool. Avery took another bite of mashed potatoes and then Kay invited another friend over. "Hello, I'm Avery" she added to the new boy we had arrived. Avery couldn't believe the number of people she was meeting right before the end of the term. She wished she would have met Kay earlier in the year.

"Soooo..." Reese didn't see a big deal with carrying a purse. They were fashionable! But then again, Jack was a boy. And boys didn't usually carry around purses. "You'd carry a purse around for me, wouldn't you?" She question with a grin. She already guessed the answer to this was 'HECK TO THE NO', but there was no trouble in asking. "No, we can't have you being like Torin. You are so much better than him," she told him while nodding her head. "Even with kissing." The last part was added in a slight whisper because Brody was standing nearby!

"So what if it isn't real food? I fills me up when I'm hungry!" She exclaimed. "And it's delicious and... and... it's very delicious." She wrinkled her nose at the thought about getting cavities from candy. That was such a nice thing to think about. "I'm not planning on getting cavities anytime soon," she said. Even though it wouldn't be surprising to people if she ended up with some 10 years from now.

She sat there for seconds trying to find a way around what Jack had just said, but she couldn't! "Fine, fine, fiiiiine," she responded. "I guess you're right." She tried one last time to pull herself from the glue, but failed once more. The only hoped she had of getting up was Jack's idea of using Evanesco. "You are more than welcome to try it now," she added. "And if it doesn't work, we should try to get a teacher over here." Somehow. She looked over at the staff table, trying to think of ways to get someone's attention.

"Well, how are you love?" Rex asked Kay. "We will be getting away this summer and then go to the castle" Rex said to Kay.

" Hi Cadence, my name is Rex Trigwell" Rex introduced himself. "Cadence, has Kay been telling you about a castle?" Rex asked her. " You know with Kay's imigination " Rex laughed. " Actually, the truth is it is her castle but the castle belongs to Jason Potter Weasley, her cousin" Rex explained to Cadence. "When you go there this summer, you will not believe how big the castle is and what there is to do there" Rex said to Cadence.

"Avery, Rex trigwell here" he introduced himself to another one of Kay's friends. " Well the castle is her cousin's Jason Potter Weasley" Rex told Avery.
Glad to meet you" Rex said to Avery.
I am sure both of you have nice houses and they are important to you as is Kay's castle and I would like to see yoru houses" Rex told Cadence and avery. " Kay, owl Jason and ask if yoru nre friends, Cadence and avery could come to the castle" Rex told her. " You know his answer- Yes" Rex smiled at Kay. He kissed her on the cheek.

Miranda slowly walked to the entrance of the Great Hall, peeking around the door to see a a bustling room with...bustling people. Heh.
Clearing her throat, she quickly made her way over to sit at the Hufflepuff table and grab a few many items to eat, all the while hoping to be as unnoticeable as possible...not that people did anyways.

She didn't know how she felt about the term ending. In a way, she was happy...on the other hand, she felt sad, but she didn't know why.

Shrug. It was probably nothing.


She looked up at the Staff Table, wondering how the Professors were doing after the very eventful term, and she noticed Lawson and Healer Ashford sitting there. Miranda stopped chewing on her apple... and wanted to up there and say thankyou and goodbye... after all, the Healer had helped them all.

So she stood up and headed towards the adults.

Fia reached out and took Miles' hand in her own, intertwining their fingers together. "I'm here with you, Miles," she began as they walked into the feast and over to the Hufflepuff table, taking a seat. "I'll help you. We can work together. This is what I want to do after school and if it is becoming a Healer to keep you healthy, then so be it.

"You don't ever need to go through such things by yourself, and I hope you never expect that." As she spoke, she felt a little wiser, a little more grown up in her thoughts. THAT WAS SCARY. "Next year we will be in our sixth year. I can't believe it is going by so fast."

Miles smiled as Fia grabbed his hand and he ran his thumb over her knuckles. Following her he sat down and looked at the food and at all the Huffie's. He should really be sitting at his own table but he wanted to be with Fia right now. "Will you go with me to the doctor? Bothari will have to come too but...I don't want my parents there I want you there."

He looked at her as she spoke and he smirked, "Wow Fi I'd think you were growing old," he teased and pulled a plate closer. "Yeah I know. I wonder if I'll still be Prefect...Think my actions will cost me my badge?" He acted nonchalant about it but really it was the one thing he was worried about next to what exactly had caused it.

OH! He was still Prefect! GAH! How could she forget about that? Well it was a little easy when she was just more worried about him and getting him to the doctor. "I would love to go with you. I want to be there for you, always and forever." She noticed that Miles pulled a plate close to him and then looked back to the Ravenclaw table.

"Before you put anything on that plate, you want to sit at your table instead?"

Miles smiled at Fia as she said she'd come with him and nodded. "We need to do that before we go anywhere this summer." He looked over the food wondering what he should have first. So many choices...so many....

He looked up as Fia spoke to him and then back at his table, "If I wanted to sit over there Fi I would have. I want to be near you." Yup he was feeling decisively needy. Picking up a chicken leg he took a big bite out of it and winked. "You know...mum and dad don't know I gave you that ring..." he said through a mouthful of food. At least he had been smart enough to not make it a diamond one. Nope that was next year. Already planned out in his head and Brody was going to help.

"Well as soon as we get home, we will make an appointment." Fia was going to see to it that Miles was going to be well cared for no matter what. She loved him dearly and would do anything for him, all he had to do was ask and she would be there. "And...thank you for asking me. It really does mean a lot to me that you want me there with you."

She looked back at the Ravie table and then to Miles and giggled. Poor thing seemed mighty hungry and...Her eyes grew wide as her mouth slightly opened. "Your parents don't know about...the ring?" But how was she going to explain it if someone asked her? Bothari noticed everything. Maybe she could say it was a vending machine ring and then go about her business.

Miles nodded and started piling mashed potatoes on his plate. "Well of course I would ask you. I wouldn't want anyone else there after all." He looked at her and smiled before he went in search of rolls.

He turned to look at her with a roll in his hand and one in his mouth to see her expression. Swallowing he smiled weakly, "Um.....no? I took it out of my own account." Setting the one roll down on his plate he looked thoughtful, "Should I have? I mean...I know mum knows I was looking for a birthday gift for you..."

Fia reached for her own plate and placed just one scoop of potatoes on her plate with a piece of chicken. Suddenly she was not very hungry as her nerves began to grow. She grinned at Miles then followed his hand to the rolls for one of her own.

She shrugged her shoulders as her fingers began to pull apart the roll and stuffing small pieces into her mouth. "I mean, it's a promise ring, not like we are engaged or anything." Right? Right! "So...I don't think you needed to say anything." There was just a part of herself that thought he would have already said something before hand.

Miles watched Fia and hid the smirk that was forming with another bite into his roll. Not like they were engaged.... Hehe. "Exactly," he said through another mouthful of food. That in fact was why he hadn't said anything though. He didn't know how his father would take it...but he fully intended on going through with his plan whether they liked it or not.

But that reminded him though that he wanted to take Brody and go ring shopping this summer if they could. But...he wondered... "What if we were engaged?" he asked casually as he took a bite of mashed potatoes.

Well, that wasn't so bad after all. Fia lifted her glass to her mouth, taking a drink of pumpkin juice just as Miles asked the one question that made her heart skip a beat...or five or six. Engaged? "I...umm...errr...well...ummm..." Her eyes darted towards Miles as he was eating his potatoes as if it were no big deal. Calm. Cool. Collective. So not her.

Finally she placed the rest of the roll in her mouth, a rather LARGE piece at that. "M mmmm mmmmmm," she mumbled out the words 'I don't know' with a mouth full of bread. She then gave the scariest grin ever formed that consisted of a scary cat and a helping plead that sent of a signal that she just didn't know what to think.

Swallow.

"We are...young," she finally swallowed the last of her food and moved towards the taters. "I mean, I would think that our families would...well...know that it would happen one day. Right?" And a LARGE helping of food was placed into her mouth.

It was Miles' turn to be taken aback though he shouldn't have been really. Playing with his mashed potatoes instead of really eating them he felt almost crestfallen and didn't really know how he looked. "Young....right...." Maybe he shouldn't then. Maybe he should talk to Brody about it.

Picking up his glass of pumpkin juice he took a large swallow and set it down. "Yeah. Of course. One day." Hmmm. He looked down at his plate seeing he really hadn't touched all he'd put on it and then glanced at his table. "I think maybe you're right and I should go check in on my house table. Prefect duties and all that." Yeah that was it. It wasn't that he was feeling suddenly uncomfortable at all. Leaning in he kissed Fia on the cheek and headed over toward his table leaving his plate there.

Shock overcame her once more. This time it was the fact that Miles was upset at her reaction. She could read him like a book at times and this was one of those moments. He was not like any of the other boys as any other would have never brought up the question but it was just something that caught her off guard.

She sighed as Miles got up from the table to do his "Prefect" duties. Whatever. She knew what was going on and it didn't take a Potions Master to figure it out either. Her fingers twirled mashed potatoes around and around. They needed to talk about this at another time and she would make sure they would.

Torin had stuck them to the table? That made Brody giggle, as she looked around for him. Oh he wasn't here. He had probably run away when he'd stuck them down. It was quite amusing. She grinned at the both of them. "Look's like you're not graduating then." Because they couldn't go if they were stuck to the table. Tehe
Now if she was a good friend she probably would have unstuck them but as she was feeling quite mean she had decided that she wasn't going to let them be unstuck, instead she was just going to stand there and laugh at them. Well until she spotted her sister anyway. "Oooh. Fifi's here. Byeee" And then she wandered over towards Fia.


As she approached her sister, she watched Miles walking away from her. She wandered what that was all about. Prefect stuff probably, which might have been why Torin wasn't here. "Fifi." She smiled, as she sat down next to her. Glancing at the food around, well she probably should have eaten something. She glanced back to where Miles was walking away, and was tempted to say something, but decided not to, she didn't really want to push into their business, not when they were going shopping together soon.

Frowning while Sarah spoke, Lori avoided all eye contact with her friend. It was kinda just too hard to do, and too sad aswell. Because, she was DEPRESSED. DE-PRESSED. Hmpfh. Finally after what seemed a long time after her friend had stopped speaking, Lori brought her eyes up from her shoe and gave her hand a squeeze. "She's a muggle, she doesn't care what happens to me, I have this feeling it's because i'm not at home, she and Jake have noone to claim as their daughter that they," With her free hand she air quoted. " 'care for.' Because they don't care, really they dont. Their reputation is more important than me. You kinda learn to live with it after a while."

Looking around at everyone else, Jake found himself glad he wasn't joining in with their fun and happiness. He glanced up at the staff table and the astonishing amount of people up there, and he told himself he wouldn't go up there.

Not yet.

No...

And then Kazi was there.

And go, Jake did.

Fia heard the familiar voice of Brody and turned to force a smile on her face. It was painfully obvious that something just happened between herself and Miles and at this very moment, she was confused.

"Hey Brody," she greeted her half sister then sighed once again. "I'm glad you are here. I need...boy help." Okay. All of this was just super strange but at the same time, she knew she could confide in her sister to help her with issues that were going on. And maybe she knew more than what Fia did.

As she watched Fia smile at her, Brody could tell that there was something wrong, and it made her feel worried. What had just happened. She smiled at her half sister. Maybe Fia would talk to her about it. That's waht sister's did didn't they? She certainly did it with her other sisters.

Fia needed boy help? Well she had sort of figured that out, seeing as Miles had just walked off. She nodded, taking a bread roll from the table, and eating a little of it. "Whats wrong Fi?" Tehe. She liked her nickname for Fia. She turned to face Fia, ready to listen to her. She wanted to help her, thats what sisters did.

Fia looked back to her plate not even noticing that Brody called her Fi. It was a common name to her for those who knew her and well, she and Brody were becoming closer. "It was just...an odd incident with Miles," she began with a sad look plastered to her face. "We were talking about the ring he gave me and were talking about whether we should tell our families or not but I said, at this point, it's not like we're engaged." As she spoke the words things just didn't sound right. She was beginning to see what Miles was mopey about.

"He then asked what if we were engaged," she said as she paused in her sentence, realizing that she was not very nice in what she said to him. "We are so young, Brody. I mean, I know in my heart that we will be married. I don't know what I would do without him but at the same time...it's still a scary topic." She loved Miles with all of her heart. They had been friends for so long, growing up together, playing together, she didn't know what it was like without him in her life.

"It just...came out all wrong."
