"All this excitement can be pretty exhausting. I'm sure that the second my head touches my pillow, I'll fall fast asleep." Evelyn didn't feel tired yet though. She was having too much fun eating (How many pastries have I eaten? I lost count after the third one...) and talking to people.
"If you want to just rest your head on the table, that's probably a good idea. I won't disturb you. But if you start to feel unwell, then make sure you see the nurse, okay?" Evelyn rolled her eyes and chuckled at herself. She was always mothering people, giving advice and making sure they were all right, sometimes even people that were older than her.
"It's okay, I rather have people to talk to, to be honest, besides mommy I have no other friends or had no other friends until today." she smiled. "This is the most talking I have done with someone else but my parents since I was 3." she said cheerfully. Nunually was extremely happy today. "I'm afraid if I go to sleep I will wake up tomorrow and all of this would have been a dream, and I will be alone at school tomorrow, no friends to talk to." she said calmly. "Okay, if I don't feel good I will um ask someone to take me to the nurse." she told her with a smile

Evelyn felt a bit like crying when she heard what Nulu said, "You mean...you didn't...why didn't people...that's so...you must've felt..." This didn't make any sense to Evelyn. "But you get along with people so well here. You seem to be able to make friends so easily."
That's just so unfair! Why wouldn't children want to be friends with this sweet little girl? She doesn't look sad. But she must be! What do I do?!?
"Here. Have a pastry," Evelyn blurted, holding one out to her, "Have them all!" Evelyn grabbed the whole plate of Cornish pastries and sat it in front of Nulu.

Nunually was beginning to close her eyes when the girl had began to talk. She smiled at her. "I know that is why I positively sure this is a dream, the kids back at home think I am weird, especially since weird things occurred with me," she raised her head. "I touched a flower that was dying and it started to gain its color, and went back to being alive, when ever I was upset, I seemed to appear somewhere from where I had been." she said and was about to ask for the girls name when she seemed to hand her a whole plate of pastries. She raised her head and blinked. A true smile spread on her face and she took the plates. "Oh thank you so much." she said and took the plate and took one and began to work on it. A she took a a bite she smiled "So tasty." she said and she began to turn pink. "Would you like some?" she asked her

Tempting... Then Evelyn realised how full she was feeling. Maybe I should just stick to drinking my cranberry juice for a while. How many of those pastries did I eat!?"I'm fine thank you. I've eaten plenty."
Well, they seem to be putting a smile on Nulu's face. Next time I want show a person some love and care, I'll remember to give them Cornish pastries.
Evelyn still felt so sad that Nunually hadn't had any friends growing up. Evelyn herself hadn't really been close to anyone these past few years, but at least no one had thought she was a freak. "So, your, um, 'mummy'..." Evelyn asked in a gentle voice, not much louder than a whisper, "did she notice that you were doing these things?"

Nunually was on her fourth pastry. "These are delicious." she said and smiled. Maybe it was the pastry's taking affect or maybe it was the mentioned of her mommy but her eyes lit up with happiness. "Yes,, she was so supportive, I never told her what the others thought of me though, but mommy knew or rather found out." a grin spread on her face. "See mommy was trowing me in the air, and she began to sneeze so she couldn't catch me before we knew it all the pillows in the house had appeared underneath me I don't remember how old I was but the bed was there as well." she said and the smile faded. "Adopted daddy didn't like it though, he thought I was posses, he couldn't take it so he left us," she said but a smile still spread on her lips. "But mommy stayed with me and we read books to try to explain what was occurring, none made sense except one about demons, and devils, oh yeah and imps, so mommy left that possibility saying that nothing so cute and so pure could ever be that." she said and giggled. "So when I got the letter telling me about the school we were so happy, they also told me that I was a full wizard they said pure-blood? I am unsure what that means but I think its a funny thing or is it serious?" she asked confused. Nunually was now so full of energy that she looked around to see if there were more pastries around. "Before I forget I was wondering if I could know your name? As soon as tomorrow rolls around I am sending mother a letter about all the people I meet here." she said happily.

Quietly Arya said the levitation charm so that no one would hear, landing the paper crane on Allison's shoulder. Then she sliped her wand back into her wrist holister and returned to her meal.
Allison opened the paper crane and read the note. She was missing several things as it appeared, and her only consolation was the fact the girls and she would be able to share stories later on. With interest Charlie the spider, and the professor sitting with her, Allison shouted above the voices to be heard, "Arya!" Once she caught Arya's attention Allison nodded quickly about meeting in the Hall after the feast.
"Yup. Some people just don't know manners," he laughed and remembered what happened on the train. "I got into some trouble before I came here," he started. "My niece found a picture of it and brought it with her. She then showed a friend of hers who later used it against me,"
"Agreed," Adam said with a laugh, his hand dropping from his cheek and into the pocket of his newley blue robes. Cocking his head to the side as Tyler told him the story, Adam listened, and his frown deepened. "Well, that's not nice," he said, but something nagged at the back of his mind.
He wanted to know what the picture was of, but didn't want to ask. Adam would never admit it, but he was kinda afraid of loosing the friends he had. Because he didn't have that many. "I can't have been that bad though, can it?" he ended up asking, rather hesitantly.

What is up with his body movements? Did he have to move that much!? THERE ISN'T ENOUGH ROOM to SQUIRM! Oh yeah? He wanted to squiggle, well Miranda could do that too! Her elbows tight agains her sides, she began to wiggle in her seat. Yeah, let's see how he likes that! "Muggle dance? Are you muggle then?" Because Miranda was half-and-half, and she doesn't remember seeing that stuff.
Oh, too bad."Aw. I'd like to see her one day. I hear she's friendly." She had forgotten that she was ANNOYED at the boy and with a serene smile, she began to think about cute Nessie. So he had a brother! "How...How many siblings do you have?" This she asked carefully, knowing she was treading dangerous ground getting all personal with Obnoxious Boy over here.
"You don't look fine." Her head shook and she watched the boy drink his water. Oh he'd better not pass out or anything, she did NOT want to get the blame for this...beast.
_____________________
Her rage multiplied as she could still hear the boy laughing, mocking her now potatoe smothered face.
She wasn't actually sure she was running the right direction because she had suddnely gotten potatoe in her eye. But she felt triumphant as she felt the collision and then the ground dissapeared from under her. Eeeeeeeeek!
Rub-a-dub-dub!"How do you like that!" It wasn't a question. Miranda yelled as his mouth, which she didnt even notice was open, suddnely snapped shut and she almost lost a finger to it! DANGEROUS!
SHE WOULD NEVER GET OFF! Mwahahahaha!
Okay well, someday ofcourse... But not right now! Poke, jab poke-poke. Miranda was starting to feel her arms getting tired as she jabbed one finger here, and JABBED another there. Dangit, she'd better get her Chaser arms in shape before tryouts! "Not..."Pant....until you...APOLOGIZE! Yeaaaaaah, maybe he will look good with potato in his curly hair! Rub rub rub.
Miranda laughed, sounding slightly mad. "Oh no, Ollie, a Mooncalf's got nothing on this BADGER!" Badgers attacked if provoked... "Oh, why don't you try and slither away?" That wasn't a question either.
And for good measure, she licked her finger again and poked it into his EAR. Yes ladies and gentleman, that, she had learned from her big brother. Thankyou. Okay, ew. She hadn't thought if it would be all wazy in there...but she guessed it didn't matter since her hand was all potatoed.
What was this? Elbows in the ribs? Just totally, totally uncalled for. This Miranda girly sure had problems. Personality problems – yeah. They had gone from a light hearted conversation, to her hurling insults about, to this. Violence. Oliver turned his head and gave her a look, pain registering under the smirk as she jabbed her elbow hard into his ribs. “Can you not? Please?” He asked her. Girls. Annoying, yet strangely engaging, beings.
Muggle!? The expression on Oliver's face said it all about his thoughts on that matter. “No.” He replied flatly as if it was a very silly question indeed. “I'm Pureblood.” Through and through. “But my half-brother's into all that crap and I've seen a few of those....” What in the hell were they called? ...Urh... “Those gold disk things... on one of those picture boxes.” ...Well that was articulate. But it wasn't his fault - she was insisting on asking such stupid questions!
So now she was trying to be pleasant again. Merlin – imagine living with this one and her mood swings? “Kelpies are not friendly.” He said with humour in his voice. “You'd have to be stupid to go up to one and start talking to it.” pfft.. friendly. Was she really interested in his family? He wasn't entirely sure but just answering her mundane question seemed to be the safest way to go. “Six.” he replied. “Well... they're more kinda my half siblings. Five brothers and one sister.” He informed her. “You?” Did he care?
Naaaaah.
Not since she turned into crazy mood swing girl who just confused him anyway.
“I am fine.” he repeated once again, draining his glass of water.
Pout, pout.

So from rib elbowing, they moved onto... this.
Aaaaaargh! She'd completely flipped. He DIDN'T like this AT ALL!. He turned his head to the side, trying to get away from the potato being rubbed there, his eyes closed and his hands flailing helplessly.
The poking was beginning to really hurt and he could tell he was going to be covered in lots of little finger sized bruises later on. APOLOGISE? She had to be kidding! “Me apologise!!?” He hissed. “You started this! You and your SPITTLE!” Aaaaagh! He began making helpless whimpering sounds as she proceeded to rub the remainder of the mashed potato in his hair and then continued with the poking.
Poke, poke, poke. He was tempted to put a finger in her eye.
He looked up at her, his eyes wide as she proceeded to lick her finger and stick it in his ear, along with a load of potato. “Waaah!”He cried, looking thoroughly disgusted. And now he had an ear full of potato gloop. His hearing went all weird like he was underwater.
“Please, get off me.” He whined. She was NUTS! Nuttier than a vat of peanut butter. He couldn't stand this anymore and got hold of her by her arms and rolled them both over. If she had been a boy, this was the point where he would have got a few punches in but... he didn't quite know what to do seeing as she was a girrrrrl. A horrible girrrrl.
So...
He sort of scrambled to his feet very ungracefully. But she was MAD if she thought that was it. OH NO. She was NOT going to get away with such an attack and a battering of him and his pride. Reaching over to the table, he picked up the first bowl of food he laid his hand on and proceeded to empty the contents on top of her. Peas. Hahahah! MUSHY GREEN PEAS. She looked like a man sized bogey. “YOU!” He pointed at her melodramatically. “You and I are no longer friends.” He began to back away only to slip in some potato and fall backwards onto his behind. “OW!”
He was SO regretting thinking that the Hufflepuffs were cool...
Ziva sat there, quiet eating her meal. Apparently no one really wanted to talk to her. She tapped her foot steadily to the time of a muggle song, it was the only thing keeping her going at this point and not walking out of the hall.

"Before I forget I was wondering if I could know your name? As soon as tomorrow rolls around I am sending mother a letter about all the people I meet here." she said happily.
Evelyn smacked herself on the head. "Oh my gosh. How could I forget? I'm Evelyn. Evelyn Rochester. And don't worry yourself with all that pure-blood, half-blood, muggle-born nonsense. It's not important. A witch is a witch and a wizard is a wizard, no matter how magical their ancestors are," Evelyn took a big gulp of her cranberry juice. Her throat was getting parched from all this talking.
"It's so strange hearing about how you grew up. It's so different to my family. I can't imagine just having a mother. I have a HUGE family. I know all my aunts and uncles and cousins and second cousins. Everyone on my mum's side is a witch or wizard, and everyone on my dad's side, except for his sister, my Aunt Olivia, is a muggle. But both sides love being together. It can be quite entertaining seeing us all try to function together in our different ways," Evelyn giggled, remembering her Grandma's amazement and confusion when Evelyn's father had told his mother-in-law that he didn't travel to work by portkey. She wanted to laugh even more at the memory of her Uncle Sweeney, who sat in her muggle cousin Elizabeth's car for an hour, trying to get it to start my poking and shouting at it.
Evelyn lifted her cup to her lips, trying to hide her smirk. But, just as she took a sip, a laugh came bursting out of her. The cup tipped and Evelyn was covered in cranberry juice. She jumped to her feet, the juice dripping all over the table and floor. Am I allowed to cast a cleaning spell? I'm not really sure of the rules here. Evelyn slunk back down into her seat, not wanting to draw attention to herself. She wiped the juice from her chin and combed her fingers through her wet hair. Don't stress. It's fine. Evelyn grabbed what she hoped was a napkin from the middle of the table and begun wiping down her robes. "I'm okay. Don't worry. It's fine. Nothing to worry about. I'll clean it up. I'm fine," she muttered to the students near her, giving them an awkward, reassuring smile.
Well, that was exciting...

Ziva turned her head as a student jumped up. Cranberry juice was all over her. She shook her head, trying to keep in a laugh that she so desperately wanted to let out.
"Don't worry, it happened to me to a few years ago." she told the girl before turning back to her meal.

Reese moved the ring around in her hand a little bit more before she placed it on her 4 finger on her right hand. The ring hand to resize itself just a tiny bit to fit her finger. "It's beautiful," she commented as she held her hand out in front of her to examine the ring. She looked over at her brother and smiled.
She lowered her hand when Jake lowered his gaze. He did deserve that disappointed look, because she didn't even know WHY he wanted to put Charlie on her in the first place. For some reason, she thought it had to do something with her giving him his present late, but she wasn't going to ask him if that was the reason.
"It's fine," she accepted the apology. "Let's just not put Charlie on your sister ever again, okay?" She watched him closely when he placed the tarantula on the table and reached his arms out to her. Her eyes stayed on the tarantula and she only hugged her brother when the girl near him picked the tarantula up to hold him. "I love you, Jakers," she whispered.
How could she stay mad at her brother? Putting Charlie on her didn't do any major harm, right? Right.
"I wwwouldn't duhh-do a th-thing like th-that ag-again," Jake grinned, with a slight twinkle in his eye that Reese couldn't see. He didn't quite realise he was wrapped up in a hug with his sister until she said she loved him. Eeeee! No way would he start thinking of any reasons to go back there. "You tttttoo," the boy replied quietly, turning back to the table. He was happier with hisnew family. He did not miss the old one. Reese knew he loved her... and also why he wouldn't go back home.

Lucille dropped the spoon that she was peering into as Warren, Torin and Alex entered the hall and rushed over to the healer at the staff table. Her first instinct was to get up and join them, but they looked busy. Plus the fact that Alex had told her to stay calm.
Which was soooo totally NOT happening.
She tried to glue herself to the bench for a couple of moments, thinking that Alex probably wouldnt want to see her anyway. But -
But Lucille liked Alex, and no matter what happened they would probably end up as sisters, as long as nothing happened between her and Warren. And she felt guilty. It had been an accident, but still -
Lucille pushed up from the table, causing a loud earsplitting squeek as the bench scrapped the floor, and ran down the aisles to where the group was gathered.

Just as Evelyn was pouring herself some peppermint hot chocolate, she saw a girl who was sitting all alone, knock pudding all over the table. "Don't worry," Evelyn smiled at her, "Look at me. I'm covered in cranberry juice, and so is the floor. And those two over there are getting peas and mashed potato on more than just each other's faces. I'm starting to think there should be something in the Sorting Hat's song about Hufflepuff's being messy eaters."
Evelyn really was in a good mood. She had never been the one to start a conversation in her life, but she'd done it more than once tonight. It's just because everyone is so easy to talk to tonight. I'm sure I'll be my quiet self again tomorrow. Maybe I'll finally sit down and be alone for a while to read my Quidditch magazines. I hope I don't have too much homework...

We visit the beach and the mountains about once a year."Twirling half a carrot in her potatos she thought about what her family was doing right now, causing her to miss them more. Arya turned when she heard her named called and nodded her head back to Allison, they had a lot of catching up to do. She suddenly whiped her head around when Jake seemed to have caught her passing notes to Allison. Running her hand through her hair, looking dumbfounded at her plate. Finally looking back to Jake she grined sheepishly, she really thought no one had seen her."Just talkin to my friend Allison, she's a first year Ravenclaw."She didn't wanna say to much until she knew exactly how much he knew, or how he would react which so far he just seemed amused.
Wowwwww... Imagine being able to do so much just on your own land. That sounded immense. The boy looked a little dreamy as Arya went on to explain what they did once a year. Mountains, huh?
Jake would like to climb a mountain. Yep. "Ccccool," the boy sighed, obviously impressed.
Okay, now the one thing Jake didn't understand was the secretiveness. You could talk to your friend if you wanted to... didn't they know that? "Yuh-you know... you ccccould just... Guhh-go over th-there..." he explained, not wanting to pry but still very curious. Wait... did that sound like he was trying to make her leave? Dang.

Now that his ex girlfriend was doing better, Torin made his way over to the Hufflepuff table and sat down among his classmates. Finally he was here where he belonged. And finally he could eat.
As he heaped food on his plate, he couldn't help but think that this was the first meal he had had in about a year where he wasn't with Tammy. And that thought depressed him so much.
He sighed sadly.
"I thought food made boys happy." Sylvia snickered as she walked up behind Torin and sat down next to him. "You seem to be piling the food on, but with frown." Sylvia raised her eyebrow at the unfortunate negativeness and pushed her plate away, so she could rest her elbows on the table.
Evelyn looked down the row of students and smiled at the girl who had spoken. She wasn't looking at Evelyn anymore and had gone back to enjoying the food, but Evelyn felt like she should say something. "Um, yeah, I'm fine. It's, um, it's no big deal," Evelyn relaxed again and smiled, "I wish I'd gotten to see it. I must have looked pretty silly."
"Yeah." Ziva smiled. "Actually, I've done it more than once, to be honest." Ziva laughed. "I'm Ziva Holden." she said, not sure if she should extend her hand or not.

"all my shoes have mysteriously disappeared.
I suspect nargles are behind it."
"Hello Kay" Marcus called out and gave her a wave back. "I did have a great summer, thank you for asking. And how was yours? All ready for another year at Hogwarts?"
"My summer was great Professor. I can't wait for classes to start." Kay said smiling at her favorite professor. "Sir, this is Rex. It's his first year here at Hogwarts." Kay told him smiling at Rex.

"In every class, Love." Kay ate the sandwich and couldn't believe that she was eating. She never ate. "I think your good for me." Kay told Rex. She leaned over and kissed Rex's cheek than gave him some of the chicken that was on the table. "You can meet her right now. SARAH! Can you come over here?" Kay said standing up just a little. She smiled at Rex and giggled. "What? It's to crowd to be a lady."

Lorelai looked at a random person shoving his hand out. "If you dont use sanitizer, I will NOT touch that hand of yours." Hmpfh, obviously this school didn't know anything about her sanitary needs. She NEEDED to have some words with people high up. Like Torin.

Frowning, Blake ruffled his soft brown hair and chuckled when she addressed him as lap boy.
Nail polish...ewww. He's SO not lady fabulous, "So sweet of you but sadly, I don't use nail polish." He pouted and wiggled his fingers in front of her eyes. PINK? That reminded him of Lucas Poocas and his pink flowery pajamas. Double ewww ewww. "Ugh, no way! Thanks." He made a face and glared the pink bottle. He jumped off the table and picked up his lunch box, "Are you always this sarcastic, DictionaryGirl? Or is it a bad hair day?" Sitting next to her, he blinked at her innocently. Snort.
Okay, so he totally had a point here, but she wasn't going to tell him that. Of course she wasn't. HOW could she? She was ALWAYS right. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS. Rolling her eyes as he finally got out of her lap and practically sat on HER table. "Your behind is on our table, that's NOT sanitary, lapboy." She shooed him off with her hands but it was just about enough to pass as a lame feeble attempt.
FINGERS. IN. HER. FACE. FINGERS. FACE. HERS. EW. GROSS.
She gave lapboy a glare, and sighed. "You definately need a manicure lapboy. Your nails are all... Not manicured. Clear nail polish, lapboy. And you'll be fine. It's all in trend right now." And she KNEW what was in trend, in season, colour of the season, colour of the year. You name it, Lorelai knew it.
"Sarcastic? DictionaryGirl? BAD HAIR DAY? Could just be the company."
On his other side sat a pleasent looking girl. "Hello!" Nymphy said kindly. "How are you? If you don't mind me asking, what year are you in? he asked. This girl was much older then himself or Cadence. He was guessing fifth year. He reached out to shake hands.
Avery after being sorted had sat down next to Candence, but she was preoccupied with Tyler at the moment, she Avery turned her attention over to Nymphy for a moments. "Hey Nymphy! I'm glad you got into Hufflepuff! It makes me feel better that I know a couple people in the house." Avery smiled over at Nymphy hoping that she wasn't intruding on anything.
"Sorry!" Wesley said automatically in response to Sarah's tone. But her serious demeanor was undermined by the poke, and she giggled. The Hufflepuff happened to be very ticklish.
As her friend spoke, the third year nodded slowly, feeling very conflicted. As hard as it would be to get used to calling Sarah 'Prefect Sarah' it felt even more uncomfortable calling a Prefect by their first name only. It was akin to calling Professer Shackleton-Clark 'Shackleton-Clark'. The very thought made the brunette squirm slightly. But, Sarah said she wanted Wesley to call her just Sarah. So just Sarah it would be.
"I won't, promise," she whispered just as quietly, eyes wide with sincerity. No one had ever yelled at her at Hogwarts for getting in trouble. Wesley hoped that would always be the case. She couldn't imagine Sarah screaming. She didn't want to imagine Sarah screaming.
Nodding, so as not to interrupt Sarah's speaking, Wesley became very, very still, soaking up the information like a sponge.
"Wow." she said softly, at loss for words. Being a prefect was awe inspiring. It was such a huge job, and she couldn't even begin to picture herself doing it. Sarah, Torin, Vannessa, Tammy, and Dominic- they were so amazing! They were so brave!
Satisfied she hadn't asked anything illegal, Wesley grinned at Sarah's comment. She loved people. "Iris, Santine, Lucia-" Though not yet finished, the Hufflepuff stopped. The...the somebody was talking.
Chin wobbling, the tiny teenager's eyes soon filled with tears. Headmaster Tate seemed like a nice guy - he had to be a nice guy. But, Wesley missed the old Headmaster. She missed Professor Truebridge. She missed Nurse Avalon. She missed her three fellow Hufflepuffs, of which she had never met. And at the words 'steel your spine,' Wesley began to fully cry. She didn't want to put steel in her spine! That sounded like it hurt - it sounded scary! And then, and then he started talking about students dieing. And learning. As if, as if Professer Truebridge hadn't know how to teach. He had! He had! Wesley did learn a lot- she learned that Rita Skeeter was a bad women and you should never trust the media and and and the lack of intake of oxygen was making it hard to think, but Wesley did know that she had learned! She really had!
Sticking her chin out, she tried to keep it up, just like Headmaster Tate said, but it wasn't working.
And that only made her sob harder.
Shovelling potatoes onto her plate, Sarah giggled. "I know you won't, Wesley. And maybe you can make sure none of you friends do either...." She didn't know much about any of Wesley's other friends. Not even what year they were in, actually.Strange really.
The look of awe on her friends face was actually un-nerving.It made Sarah feel even more under pressure to get things right, to do a good job.Not only did the staff need them for helping keep troublemakers at bay, which was hard enough, now she was a hero in Wesley's eyes too.Oh merlin, please let this year go without a hitch!"Mmhmm," was all she could mutter as she continued filling her plate.
Then the speech began and she turned to listen.New Professor's, new Headmaster, everything was changing, it seemed.Sighing as he finished, Sarah spun back round and started to eat her food.Well she was about to, but a sobbing noise coming from next to her made her stop.Leaning forward she just managed to get a glimpse of Wesley's red, tear covered face.Gasping, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a stack of tissues.Grabbing her friend's shoulder, she spun her round to face her and started dabbing her eyes. "Wesley! What's wrong? Please don't cry! Here take some of these...." she shoved the tissues in her hand, and sat confused and worried.

He kinda wished that the holidays had gone on for a little bit longer, the time had gone by so fast and he felt as though he didn't have much of a break. But he did like being back with the kids, probably because most of the time he was a big kid himself.
Looking up from her plate upon hearing a voice, Sarah broke out into a grin when she saw Professor Lawson. He was a favourite of hers when he taught DADA, but since the events of last term she wasn't sure what he was teaching this year.Bad, uninformed, Prefect.
"Hello, Professor Lawson!" she smiled cheerily. "Glad to be back, but also nervous as it's OWL year.I hope you had a good summer?" She was sure others would ask the same question, and he'd get sick of answering, but hey ho.

Commotion. She heard a commotion from the other end of the table. This wasn't on.No-one was going to be doing that sort of thing while she was there.Looking down towards the noise, Sarah could see a girl covered in peas.So covered she didn't recognise her.And a Slytherin boy on his backside.Oh great.Sliding her legs out from under the table, she patted Wesley on the shoulder. "I'll be back soon, just need to find out what's going on."
Marching down the other end, she stopped just in front of the boy on the floor, and began to glance between him and pea girl. "Care to tell me what you are doing down there? And why a Hufflepuff is covered in peas?" Staring at the girl it took Sarah several seconds to work out who it was... "Miranda?" Ohhh dear. And then a second glance. "Ryder?" Please don't tell me my boyfriend is involved...

"You stay right there," she pointed at the Slytherin. "I'll be back to have a word about......this," she gestured at the mess in the surrounding area.
"Yes, Kay?" Sarah smiled, as she finally got to her fellow Huffie. "What can I do you for?"

"I am not so certain that is a true statement, perhaps, but I think the students may surprise you. To me it sounds like you think we are superior. On the contrary, I don't believe that my linguistic skills make me any better than anyone else. I simply enjoy speaking Gaelic, I don't do it to act superior. That would be rude and ignorant Silver, that which I am not." Art stated calmly.
"What is it anyone elses concern, I am curious? I am speaking to you, cutting in would be rude and eavesdropping anyway." he noted matter-of-factly.
Hmm, didn't think that it was the right one."Oh? Not in a million years? So it is incorrect, you don't have to be so unkind to the name though. It is still a nice name. By the way, fake smiles do not suit you in the least." he smiled at how she looked at him. You will never win that way dear.
"Well?" he asked smiling.
Erm... WHAT?! Ry didn't give him an answer or she might have done it, if standing up from the table without a word and push him slightly could be considered an answer. Her patience had something very important called LIMITS - and Art had just pushed his. "You are unbelievable! Do you not know the meaning of back off? Leave me ALONE your annoying little Slytherin!" She was indeed a clam and quiet person. For real. So how could Art Koizumi made her wanting to send him all the way back to Japan?
"I am not Superior, I DON'T THINK I AM SUPERIOR, and I certainly am NOT RUDE!" Yes, it was her first day and she was yelling in the middle of the Great Hall.
That was quite a first impression.
