Arya stoped playing, all she had been thinking about was classes and making friends she didn't know there was more. She thought about what was at her muggle schools what she liked the most about them. Picking up her playing she looked Kita. "There's more? Like clubs and stuff. I know I wanna work with the magical creatures after classes but I don't know what else there is."

She looked over to Kay as she spoke."That's true, I never thought about it like that." She was gonna say more but noticed Kay looking out the window and decided to let her daydream.

Kita smiled and nodded. "I'm glad i'm not the only one," she said.

Kita laughed and said, "I knew i knew you. So have you signed up for the team?"

"Yeah. There's clubs and games and the food is great," Kita said. She looked at Kay and saw that she was looking out of the window; just as she had been doing before. "Kay?" she asked, "You ok?"

Kita nodded as her tummy rumbled loudly. She blushed and said, "Sorry about that." She remembered her mum packing something in her rucksack which she had still not unpacked. She rummaged inside and pulled out some Muggle chocolates. She opened a packet and said, "Anyone want any?"

"I'll probably join some clubs then...and go to a few games."Kita didn't have to tell her the food was good, she learned that from the feast. She especially loved the pie, wondering if she could go to the kitchen and get some. But she pushed the thought aside when Kita offered them some chocolate. "Yes, I would love some!" She got up and went to get a piece of chocolate, knowing she would never get back to sleep once it was in her system.

Kita held out the box for her and once Arya had taken one, she put one in her mouth. She looked into her rucksack and knew that she had to empty that out as well. She sighed and put the chocolates at the end of her bed. She grabbed her rucksack and took out everything in it. She sorted it out in her drawers and sat back on her bunk.

Taking the chocolate she went back to her bed, pushing her keyboard against the empty space between her bed and a dresser. Jumping on the bed she taking a big bite of the chocolate. Perseus climbed into her lap while she looked out the window daydreaming about all the clubs and other activities she could do.

"Thanks," Emily took a chocolate offered to her. Then she reached into her trunk and pulled out her favorite book. Taking the book and the chocolate she climbed onto her bed and began eating and reading.

When Emily went to her own bed Arya layed down on her bed, with Perseus laying beside the pillow. She could feel herself begin to doze off besides the fact that she just had chocolate. She tried to stay awake but she knew that after all she had done today fighting sleep would be a losing battle. Glancing out the window her eyes began to close as she feel into a deep slumber. Perseus moved closer to Arya before stretching and going to sleep.

Anastasia walked into the dormitory and just CRASHED. All these new experiences had just taken the mickey out of her.
Tegan curled up near her feet, and closed her eyes.

YAWN.

Jenny, happily walking into the room, sat on her bed and began to doodle. She drew a circle with ears..a large circle. And then a fatter circle, and a tail. Yawning, she looked at her cat Ella. "Hello, Ella." She said to the furry cat. She drew a window, then a + across it, not overlapping with the two circles with a tail and ears. Now a moon and stars. Her picture was finished. She rolled over, and closed her eyes. "Goodnight, Hogwarts.." She whispered.. Jenny yawned, and fell asleep.

Emily walked into the common room, and before she could actually catch a good glimpse of it, her big toe rammed into the wall nearest to her. "Not again!" she cried out as Emily nursed her toe. It was very typical of Emily to hurt herself, one way or another. Grimacing to herself, Emily held onto her cat's cage and carefully placed her on the bed. Turning towards her trunk, Emily noticed other girls awake, but decided not to bother them.

She sunk her hand inside the trunk and pulled out a hot chocolate, carefully wrapped by her mom. Emily quickly snatched up her wand and tapped the hot chocolate with it, watching as it turned from cold, to hot. Bringing the cup to her lips, Emily changed and sat down in her bed. Milly began to scratch at Emily's feet, thinking it was a toy for her. Emily yawned and set her empty cup next to as sleep endured her.

Changing rooms was never fun. Just when she'd gotten used to the previous dorm, Wesley would have to graduate. Then she'd return, a year older, and be forced to walk a little bit further down the hallway to a new room.

But, at least this one was slightly familiar. Picking out the bed Sarah had used when she was a third year, Wesley sat down on the one across from it. The one she had claimed the night before. The Hufflepuff couldn't remember the girl who'd used Sarah's old bed; the teenager had come straight to this room after the feast and fallen asleep, clothes and all. In the morning, she'd woken up before the rest and tiptoed out quietly, after changing into clean robes.

But now she was back. Heaving her heavy school bag up next to her, the tiny third year sat cross-legged, pulling out her Astronomy textbook and notes.

It was time to concentrate.

Georgiana walked up the stairs from the common room to her dorm. Man was she tired! Definitely was loving Hogwarts though! So much better than her private school in the states. She found her trunk at the foot of what she figured must be her bed. She crawled up into it, and sat up. Looking around she really didn't spot any other 4th years in the room.

She bounced to the end of her bed and reached into her trunk, looking for either her books or even her sketchpad. Sketching could be fun! That's what she would do! Reaching in her hand touched something fuzzy and small, pulling it out she laughed. It was her little blue pygmy puff Jill. "Hey there! I thought I left you at home with mom!" she chuckled as it bounced in her hand. "Well, I guess you can be model!" she situated the little puff ball on the bed in a desired manner and took out her pencil and pad. Off to work!

Jenny walked in, her cat by her side. "I'm going to draw!" She said. She accidentally used her wand. "Oh." She put it back and began writing with a PENCIL. She began to draw her cat Ella. "Elly, come on! Sit..still!" Jenny said. "Good kitty." She began to draw her now sleeping cat. "I'm going to change your collar. How?" She asked. "Oh, how? What spell? Accio yellow collar?" And it worked. Flying through the (thankfully) open window, a collar. "Yeah!" She said, fastening it over the cat's neck. "It's badgers! Yeah!" She said. "Score one for Jenny Ella Riddle!"

Sabrina hoped that as a first year she would make some friends, but she wasn't going to wait around for someone to talk to her. She saw a girl that looked nice and tapped her shoulder. "Hi! I'm Sabrina Volann! Um, what's your name?"

Autumn turned around. "Hello Sabrina! I'm Autumn Malloy!"

Emily laughed as she watched Jenny. "Hey Jenny," she said. "Where did that collar come from?"

Evelyn went into the third year girls dormitory to change out of her cranberry juice soaked robes and put on something comfortable for Muggle Studies. There was one other girl in the room, who was busily reading over some notes, a heavy textbook on her lap.

"Hi. Are any of these other beds taken?"

"Mmm, get out of my face Milly." moaned Emily as the fuzzball attempted to sit on her face. Sitting up and looking around, Emily noticed many other first years still awake. "Oh hi Jenny." Emily said as she saw Jenny sitting on her bed, talking to another girl. "Hi Im Emily." she said politely towards her, and tried to rub the sleep out of her eyes.

Wesley had always assumed her worse subject was potions. But now she was having some serious doubts.

After reading through her notes on velocity and rotation at least five times, Wesley was getting ready to cry. She. Didn't. Understand. This.

Eyes beginning to blur and itch, the culmination of stress was about to break the dam and come flooding out her tear ducts.

"Oh!" Blinking, a stray tear fell before she wiped her eye with her robe sleeve. Turning around in her spot to acknowledge whoever it was, she smiled as she saw the girl, frustration erased by the delight of meeting someone new...and...in her same year?

"Oh hi!" She exclaimed, then, as the girl asked her question, frowned, "Didn't you...oh. Ohhh." Her eyes lighting up with knowledge, the teenager smiled once more. Wesley understood. This girl had fallen asleep on one of the couches in the common last night. It was easy to do; they were really comfy. "Ummm...I'm not sure. I don't know where the other third year's sleep, but I'd suggest you look for your trunk, then pick the bed its by." That's what Wesley did, but she knew some people liked to switch around.

She was forgetting something. Something important. "Oh! And I'm Wesley, nice to meet you!" Mother would have had some issues with Wesley's address. It wasn't very formal - the Hufflepuff hadn't even offered her hand for shaking. But, Wesley figured it would have been awkward to hold out her hand when the other girl was by the door. It would have been inconvenient for her new...room mate. The 13-year-old's smile widened at this exciting term.

Kita woke up the next morning and looked at her watch on the table next to her bed. Oh great she thought as she saw that she had got up too early. She got dressed and looked out of the window. She loved the grounds and she loved looking over them. She turned back and went to her mirror, realising how messy her hair was. Whilst she was brushing her hair, she thought back to what Kay had asked her to do. I wonder where Lorcan is she thought. She didn't want to lose a friend, especially one who had stuck by her throughout the previous year.

"The window." Jenny laughed. "Yeah, summoning spell. I hated the green Slytherin one. My parents were Slytherins. Same with my older sisters, Melody & Luna." She said.

Sarah felt somewhat like she was invading.She wasn't a 7th year yet, but Torin had asked her to find the shoe.He couldn't come here at all after all, and anything to help a fellow Prefect.

Shoving open the door, she was relieved to see that no-one was around.Sighing, Sarah dropped to her knees and began crawling around the floor, looking under each of the beds. "Tammy's shoe.Tammy's YELLOW show..." she muttered to herself over and over, trying to remember what it was like.

Aha!

"Found it!" She said, triumphantly, scrambling out from under the dusty bed by the window and kneeling down.Giving it a blow and brush off, Sarah admired the colour, before tucking it into her robes and standing up,Now all she had to do was find Torin and hand it over.Then...job done.

Nodding in satisfaction, Sarah turned and departed, leaving everything as she had found it.

Jenny looked up, happily. She wrote a song about Hufflepuff.
"Don't think us Hufflepuffs sit 'n' stare,
But truthfully we're just and fair,
I know you want to say I'm wrong,
But think about it, don't think too long." She wrote. "Good."

"Oh," Evelyn looked around, and sure enough, there was her trunk sitting at the end of a bed two down from the bed Wesley was sitting on. "I'm just over here I guess. Thank you."

Evelyn begun walking over, but stopped just near the foot of her room mate's bed. "I'm Evelyn, by the way. Evelyn Rochester," she held her hand out and shook hands with Wesley.

When Evelyn reached her own bed, she sat down on the edge to test it. It felt so comfy that Evelyn fell back and sighed. "I had a sleep in the common room...and a nap by the lake... It will be nice to sleep in a bed tonight." I hope I'm not disturbing her too much. She seems pretty stressed with all that homework.

"Hi, Emily, I'm Jenny." Jenny said, yawning.
