As soon as Miranda had finished talking, she felt herself being squishes by someone. After a second's confusion she realised it was Sarah. Miranda hugged her back and grinned at the girl. Aw, how sweet. Head counting? Ugh, that sounded kind of scary. But, yeah, she got what they were supposed to do.

A sign? "Yeah, sure, I can do that." Miranda nodded towards Torin and put a hand to her wand. She'd be needing this one. Or maybe she should get her color pens and such instead. Hm, yes. "Okay, I'll come with you, gotta get my special pens. Hehe." Ofcourse, she was joking, it was regular muggle pens.

They were going to be sleeping down here? "No, ofcourse I don't mind" She smiled at Sarah and Torin. Miranda didn't much like to sleep in her bed these days, what with the previous blood and dirt smeared on the sheets. "I'll help you keep a look-out." Help? She wouldn't sleep probably. "Why don't I start off, incase you guys are tired and want to sleep? I promise to wake you up if anything happens." Well, duuuuuh. Snort.

Yay, she was going to help!

Sarah bounced in her excitement, mentally of course, not psychically...she wasn't an idiot.Sleep deprived, yes, but not an idiot.At the mention of 'special pens', she nodded.A nice handwritten notice would look much nicer.Sometimes the muggle way was best.

and....AND....

Miranda agreed to sleep with them in the common room.Squeeeee.So that was three people at least, much better than just on her own.Yes. "Cool!" she grinned, giving her friend another one armed squeeze. "Shall we go up and get the stuff then? Can bring our blankets and pillows down while we're at it.Torin we can't get your things...or I would offer," she smiled, rubbing some sleepy dust out of her eye. "Brody, you staying? I could bring your pillow down if you are...." Sarah didn't want to assume that Brody was, but she had been the one to mention having more people.Of course it wouldn't be held against her if she didn't.Sleeping in a proper bed was WAYYYY nicer.

YAY! Miranda was going to help. And stay with them. He was so happy that he almost hugged her. He was very tempted to. But that would have been rather odd, so he managed to refrain from doing it.

He nodded at Sarah. Yes, he would need to get his stuff. Too bad she couldn't for him though because he was lazy. Oh well.

"So when should we have this meeting? Not too early, I hope." He didn't want to get up too early.

He also wasn't sure if he wanted Brody sleeping down here. She should be in her own bed. But he was wise enough not to say anything because it was her decision as to if she wanted to keep them company or not. He looked at her curiously.

At Sarah's squeeze hug, Miranda patted the Prefect gently on the back, feeling quite touched that they seemed to appreciate her staying here with them. "Yeah, let's go get the stuff." She agreed, but then thought of something else. "I'm assuming we are planning on trying to stay awake the whole night? I mean incase someone starts sneaking off when they think no one's awake... Should we bring some food up here?" FOOD! Hehehe. And a chocolate cake, ofcourse. She looked at Torin and Sarah, wondering what they thought.

Brody and Torin were like...dating, right? They weren't going to like... snuggle by the fire. Heh. "You staying too, Brody?" Snuggle or not, Miranda didn't have anything against her teammate, and they needed help so it would be cool if she stayed. "You could bring your bat." Miranda joked, but soon realised that might've sounded like they were going to encounter something they needed to attack. Er.

Oh right, the meeting. "Maybe before breakfast would be good? We can sort of... entrap them..." Ugh. That sounded scary, but she was lacking better words right at this moment. Hey, it was late! "...um, in here. Like before anyone leaves. Or something." Righto, let the awesome Prefects decide.

She wasn't too sure. Did they really know it was just Hogsmeade, she certainly hoped that they would be safer here, but right now she did not want to leave Torin's side. "I'm not tell them...they'll pull me out, and I'm not leaving without Fia." She would not leave her sister here on her own when it was like this. She failed to tell Torin that if the ministry heard about this then her Father would find out, he did work there after all.

She glanced at Sarah as she spoke. Was she staying? Half of her wanted to go back to her nice warm bed and hide, but the other part of her wanted to stay and make sure that Torin would be okay. "I'll stay." Because it was good to brave sometimes wasn't it? And she really wasn't that much of a brave person.

Ziva shrugged her shoulders, she wasn't really one for card games. And for another thing, she didn't know how to play this game. "I'll sit out." She told Cadence from her chair. She got up slowly, making sure Arya's kitten didn't fall out of her lap and walked over to where they were playing. She sat down behind the group, still able to watch, but not able to be mistaken as playing in the game. She played with the kitten as she listened to the students talk about what was going around at school. Ziva was worried, and wasn't sure if she should send a letter to Asher or not. He always believed that the unknown is best to be unknown.

Brody wanted to stay? He was... relieved. And a little surprised. He had figured she would want to stay where it was comfy and safe. But he was happy that she was staying too. "Well, I'm glad you're staying. Keep me from falling asleep." Because if he drifted off she could hit him.

"And we can make sure your dad doesn't find out. Somehow." Which could be hard seeing as he worked for the Minister. So they would just make sure that it didn't reach the Ministry. That couldn't be too hard to do.

And Miranda was talking, but he didn't take in half of what she was saying. He did hear food though. "Oh, yes. I want food." He loved food.

"Oh, okay." Cadence said with a bit of a frown. She and Ziva definitely needed to hang out more. Now that Nate couldn't come visit her over the summer, maybe Ziva would! Oo! And Melanie! And all her other friends! It would just be a party all summer long! Maybe they should make it a girls party. No boys allowed. Aw but then Torin couldn't come, and Torin loves parties. She's have to rethink this later.

"Uh..." Cadence gave the two girls a confused expression and then looked at Nate. "What's an ace?" she whispered to him. "And I don't think they're playing right. I mean, why would you ask the whole group, that doesn't seem like fun. Shouldn't you just ask one person if they have the card you need? Wouldn't that be more fun?" she asked. Muggle card games were very confusion. So were Muggle cards. What in the name of Merlin was an ace?!

Ziva held her laughter in and leaned forward to whisper in Candy's ear, "Ace is the one with an 'A' on it." She told her, pretty sure she was right. She leaned back and continued playing with Arya's kitten.

FOOD!

Yes that sounded very good.Sarah would need something to keep herself awake through her shift, and chowing down on something would be the perfect thing.Plus she was hungry.She nodded as Torin agreed too. "Sounds like a plan.I have some spare chocolate frogs....if anyone would be interested in them?" Or were they getting stuff from the kitchens, cos that's an entirely different matter...

And Brody was staying.Good.The more the merrier as they always say.Although who 'they' were, Sarah didn't know. "Cool, I'll fetch you a pillow and blanket then?" she asked, smiling over at the girl.She didn't know her that well, but Torin seemed pleased she was sticking around, so at least he was happy.And Sarah had Miranda.

"Entrapment sounds good!" Sarah laughed as Miranda suggested the idea.But really, they needed to have as many people around as possible, and when everyone was just about to head out to breakfast was probably the perfect time. "Yeah, early enough to catch people, but not so early that -you know- we're not awake properly."

"Come on Miranda, lets go get the stuff, we can get settled quicker then." Sarah shuffled briskly towards the steps and up to the fifth year dorm.

Miranda blinked, turning towards Torin and his food comment. "Maybe you'd like to go steal some from the kitchens?" Wink wink. She gave him a radiant smile, wondering if he'd want to. It was allright if he didn't, the Captain was quite capable of doing it.

CHOCOLATE! Miranda's eyes widened at Sarah's generosity. She would definitely like some. "Well...if you insist... Hehehe." Chocolate, good for cuts and bruises and staying awake. Probably. Well it was good for many things, ehehe.

Brody was staying, that's good. "I'll help you get the stuff..." Miranda turned to Sarah, having a clue which one was Brody's bed. Unless she decided to go get them herself.

Entrapment. Miranda wrinkled her nose and smiled as Sarah laughed. It sounded scary but it had been the only way to explain what the Captain meant. "Yes, totally. Trying to inform everyone while still being half asleep I'm sure wont be so good." Miranda giggled. She nodded at the Prefect and followed her up to the dorm to get the stuff.

And hopefully the chocolate. HEhehe.

Nunually had been tired, lately sleep was not happening. She had been studing and learning, yet there was nothing that could cure her mother from what she had. She sighed. "I wonder if Jeremy is sleeping I would like to have his company." she told herself, she entered the common room to notice that Georgie was not there either. She blew air into her cheek and allowed it to stay there, looking around. There has to be a way to give mommy a little more time, if anything occurs She suddenly realized that her chest was hurting, coming out of her thoughts she looked down to see that she had been pressing the book into herself. "Oh I forgot, my book." she said and quickly made sure that she had not gotten the pages wrinkly or even wet. She had avoided most of the water ballons in from one of the ghost, or what ever it had been. "Phew." she said as she saw that the book was still perfect. As she caried it with one arm this time instead of huggin him you could see the title read, Salem's 'Lot.'

Avery waited for just a second and then looked over at Cady, "Umm...Cady have you ever actually played the muggle game of 'Go Fish'?" She just looked rather confused and Avery couldn't help but laugh, "Becuase if you'd rather play something else then we can of course do that." Avery smiled over at her friend and then searched the common room, hoping to find Nymphy some where.

Fia made her way into the Hufflepuff common room with her arms folded to her chest. Right now she needed a friend. "Brodyyyyyyyy," she cried as the tears began to fall down her cheeks. That was a first! Never before had Fia searched for the comfort of Brody, now her half sister. "He...he lieddddd to meeeeeeeeee." Miles was a pain in her BIG TOE at the moment. She was worried, frightened, angry...too many emotions for a 15 year old girl. GAH!

Ziva stood up, kitten in her hands. "I think I'm going to bed and see if I can sleep any." Ziva told the group as she walked over the chair she had been sitting and grabbed her bag. "I'll take the kitten with me if you don't mind." She told Arya, the kitten was looking awfully tired right now.

She was vaguely listening to what the others were saying, but that completely stopped when she saw Fia enter the common room. She was crying. "Tor...I'll be back" She hurried over to her sister, knowing instantly who she was talking about. There was only one person's lies that would make Brody like this, and she assumed it would be the same for Fia. She pulled her sister into a big hug. "What did he say?" She knew it would hurt for Fia to say it, but it would be better right.

Arya looked up from her cards confused by Candace's words. What other way was there to play gold fish? She was about to ask what the girl was talking about when Avery spoke up. A grin crossed her face as she giggled in realization. Even though she had been at Hogwarts for a few months, she still wasn't used to being wizards who wern't knowledgeable on all things muggle. "I don't mind playing another game Candace, it doesn't have to be a card game either any wil do."


She looked up from the group to Ziva and her sleepy kneazle, nodding her head in agreement."Sure, he could use a good nap anyway. Goodnight Ziva, don let the bed bugs bite!"She said cheerfully, giving her pygmy puff a few strokes. The girl herself wasn't tired and would probably stay up all night, especially since they were playing games.

It wasn't Nate who answered her question, however, it was Ziva. Cadence looked at her, and then back down at her cards. She didn't have any cards with A's on them. "Um... go fish?" she said, a bit unsure.

Cadence winced as Arya mispronounced her name. She hated it when people did that, but she'd let it go. "Oh, no! It's fine! Nate just didn't explain the rules very well!" she said with a giggle. Then she turned to Nate and stuck her tongue out at him playfully. When she turned back to the group, Ziva was leaving. "Oh! Goodnight Ziva!" she replied cheerily, waving at her friend as she walked away.

Torin heard Chocolate Frogs and he forgot what else was going on at the moment. "Oh, yes. Bring those. And I can get some cake and other things from the kitchen." And he was totally forgetting that he was supposed to watch what he was eating now. But he was stressed. Hopefully Brody wouldn't give him a hard time about it.

But she had wandered off to Fia anyway, so he was safe.

But what was wrong with Fia? Miles had lied to her? He was gonna be in big trouble for this. ha!

He waited for the girls to come back to him.

Nymphy walked in to find all his firends sitting by the fire. "Whats up guy?" he asked. "Sorry, I've been practicing Quidditch. What'd I miss?"

The thought of Miles being hurt and pushing her away was almost too much for her to take. "We're supposed to love each other, comfort each other and help each other out when there is a problem." She pulled back with a worried look on her face and looked at Brody with a slight hint of fear in her eyes.

"His...hands," she paused as she looked to her own hands as there was nothing wrong with them. "They were cut and bloody and...he didn't want me to help him. He didn't want anyone's help." Something was wrong with Miles and it was bad enough that he was not going to tell her a thing.

Lori rubbed at her forehead, as she came out from her dorm to the common room and looked around. PEOPLE. At this time of night. Okay, so it wasn't incredibly late, but STILL. She had already passed a couple on her way, but like... She had been awake for five minutes maxiumum and that didn't work well if she saw people.

But she was fine now, yeah. Until she got more tired. Siiigh.

MMMKAY. So Sarah had been there when she walked past, but really she wasn't certain who else. But Torin was here, and he would know what was going on right? Because he was important and that. "Torin?" She asked quickly, as she walked towards him. "Why the heck is Sarah in my dorm going on about chocolate frogs and that, AND why; for the better part of my questioning, are you guys still down herE?"

Brody sighed, she had never seen Fia like this, and fi she was anything near truthful it was scary. What could Miles have done to make Fia react this way. She wasn't happy about it though, how dare upset her sister like that. "Come here." She pulled her over to one of the couches, and sat down with her.

Why was Fia looking at her hands? There was nothing wrong with them. Oh. That was why. She took Fia's hands in her own and squeezed them. "Fia...maybe you need to get someone to help him." Because with what Fia was telling her it sounded like he did need help. "A Professor maybe?" Because if he was upsetting Fia then she wanted to do something about it.

Torin turned to look at Lori when she approached him. He hadn't seen her in a while, and it could be nice to talk even if it was only about the school situation.

"Well, we're going on lockdown. We're going to have a meeting about it in the morning." He gave her a look as to say that there was no need to panic.

Lori smiled as he replied to her question and she immediately frowned after he had finished. "L...Lockdown? How? Why? What about- Does that- Lockdown?" She flustered out, a hand running through her fringe. "Crikey." Lorelai muttered, and it dawned on her.

"You mind if I stay down here? I dont think being in that dorm near enough on my own will work."
