Cadence became a little skeptical at this question. She didn't want to be asked to join any musical groups as she had plenty to deal with without having band practice or something of the sort. "Um, well, I play piano, but singing is really my musical forte."

The look in her face was as good as a refusal. Nymphy was not hurt, but rather energized by this. He liked refuals, they were just challenges with differnt names. He said "Thats cool, maybe sometime you cold do a pick up with us. You know, nothing too commited." The smile on his face was mischivous, there was something positivly Avery-ish about it.

"Yeah... maybe." She said with a smile. Once in awhile might be fun. Though Cadence hadn't made a habit of singing in front of people all the time since she'd come back to Hogwarts. She fidgeted with the parchment in her hand. She was really anxious to write to her parents. She looked around the Common Room, wondering where Nate, Zi, Lanie, or Avery were. She was sure she would see them soon.

'Is that homework?" Nymphy finally asked, gesturing to the parchemnt Cadence had been clinging to since her arrival. "Or just parchemt?" he asked.

Arya looked between the two, grining at Nymphy as he tried to convince Candace to sing with them. She could tell the prospect of singing with them didn't thrill her which didn't really bother the girl. She gave Smore a few strokes on his head and for Candace's sake figured it was time for a subject change. "So Nymphy, do you have any pets?" but it seemed he had done that for her. She looked at the parcement in Candace's hand wondering the same thing. Probably for Muggle Studies.

Cadence looked down to the parchment in her hands. "No, actually. It's a letter... to my parents," she replied with a huge smile on her face. Not very many people knew what had happened with her parents, other than those people who had been there with her. She was so happy to have found them and to be able to write letters to them for the first time in three years.

"Yes, I have a cat named Awetom. He's a tabby with light brown and orange strips. I'd like an owl, but I don't need too many more responsibilties, so I use school owls." he said. "You got any others than these?" he asked, gesturing to the pets on her lap.

"Thats so nice!" he said, adopting her smile. "Where do they live?" he asked.

"Oh, a letter. Tellin them bout Hogwarts?"she looked to the girl with nright curious eyes. She loved writing to her family, having sent both her parents and siblings many letters.

"Nope, I plan on getting more though. Maybe next term I'll get an owl."She looked at her now sleeping kneazle and gave him a few strokes before turning back to Nymphy."Actually I have a dog and horse back home."she couldn't believe she had forgotten the wonderfull pets she had back home.

"Ooooooooo. That sounds fun" Nymphy said. He had never ridden a horse was thought it sounded cool. He grabbed another chocolate frog and bit its hind legs off. "Mmmm" he said to no one in particular.

Nate came in the Common Room and slid his tie off from around his neck. He unbuttoned his shirt at the top button as he stuffed the tie into his bag. He saw Cadence with the pink haired dude he had met the first night him and Cadence started dating. He came up behind her and covered her eyes with his large hands. He made his voice very high pitched and girly while saying, "Guess who?"

"Oh, hey Nate." he said, with little more than disapointment in his voive. "Nice day?" he asked, not caring about the answer.

"Err... well, I can't really tell you that..." she trailed off, not looking at him. Cadence wasn't allowed to tell anyone anything about where her parents were or what they were doing, for her safety as well as theirs.

"Mhm... telling them about the sleepover and stuff. The school year has been interesting..." Cadence replied to the girl. Looking around again, she wondered where Nate was. He should be back from classes soon.

When someone snuck up behind her, she jumped a little at first, but then she giggled, turning around to face him. "The person I love most in the whole entire world?" When she opened her eyes and saw Nate, she said, "Oh, look! I was right!" She giggled and stood on her tiptoes, giving him a small kiss.

That wasn't wierd at all. "You can'tt tell me..." he repeated slowly. "Is there something wrong?" he asked, quickly worring if he had said something to offend her.



Nymphy nearly gagged audibly. But for Cadence's sake, and her sake alone, he restrained. "Nice to see you again.....Nate" he tried to amke the last word a let down. "How was Christmas holiday. I never got to ask you" he said with a tome of knowing more then letting on.

Nate gave him the 'sup' nod before turning back to Cadence.

"I would hope you were right with that guess." he said laughing. Nate kissed back and held her hands. "Hey can I steal you away? I have a surprise for you." he said looking over her head at the youngin's with her.

"No, nothing's wrong. I just can't tell people. Besides, they move a lot, so I wouldn't know exactly where they are right now anyway," Cadence replied with a bit of a shrug. Last she had seen her parents, they had been in Ireland, but they had probably moved on now.

Okay, Nate and Nymphy were being awkward. Like they always were. There was some... unspoken tension between those two that Cadence had never understand. "Oo! Surprise?! I like surprises!" she said with a giggle. A dull paint shot through Cadence's wrist as Nate grabbed her hand. "Oo, be careful of my wrist. It's still a little sore." Then she smiled up at him to tell him that she was okay. "Sure, you can steal me away. Let me go put this stuff in my dormitory first." Cadence gave Nymphy and Arya an apologetic smile. Hopefully they would understand. She walked to her dormitory and put her stuff on her bed. When she returned, she grabbed Nate's left hand with her uninjured right hand and said, "Lead the way!"

"OK, bye!" he said, waving resentfully. He made a note to tell her the "bros-b4-hoes" rules later, but Nymphy would let her go this time....

"So," he said, turning back to Arya. "How has your day been?"

She watched as Candace left with the boy they had played soccer with in Muggle Studies. Then turning back to Nymphy she thought about the question she was asked. "Its been..interesting. How about you? Do anything crazy?"

"Well now that you mention it" he said with a chuckle. "I fed the giant squid whole turkeys but chucking them 50 feet into the back lake, then went to the room of Requirment and rode Firebolts around the Egyptian pryimids..." he said, trying not to sound too excited, but hardly keeping it in.

It was...sort of good. No, really, it was good. And he was a well-behaved boy when Quidditch was at stake. Though, he did have his fun once in a while. And getting away from grandpa from time to time was way too entertaining to NOT do it.

Treyen nodded.

And then shook his head.

"I haven't yet. I guess she'd been busy, as any Captain will be. I remember my sister being busy over the summer getting some Quidditch plays done" not ALL the summer, just the couple free time she had. Okay. All the spare time she had. But still, not ALL summer long.

Grin.

"Drake Warren! He's a beater, and he played in Hogwarts last year, my sister got an autograph for me! And, I still haven't managed to get my own autograph" because his dad doesn't know how Treyen will react when meeting his favorite player. He'll have to deal with it eventually, just NOT YET.

Another shake of the golden brown head. "I like plants, but I think I missed the Herbology lesson. Shhhh, don't tell anyone I did" he whispered, looking around for eavesdroppers, "So, I really don't know which one could be a favorite, besides flying, of course" because everyone loves to fly, especially birds, and a couple insects, and a couple bugs, and a couple cars. But those aren't 'every-ones' those are 'every-things' yes?

Never mind about the Amelia girl anymore. Aaron was on the team! His mouth formed another 'O' at the mention of him being 'Keeper'. HOW...COOL! "Wow, that's incredible! I have to go find him!" and, yes, the Amelia girl all forgotten.

Oh! Mr. Marbles! They seem to be quite forgetful about the pygmy puff. Poor creature. Forgotten. "Purple? That's a nice color, I don't like the pink ones, because they're not really pink, you see, they're what some muggles call 'magenta', that's their real color, not pink, but purple, purple is nice. You have very good taste" and she did, of course, because she was a Hufflepuff.

"Oh, I know I asked about him, Mr. Marbles, but do you think Mr. Marbles would want to wait meeting me? I should go find Aaron" should, very much, find the Hufflepuff Keeper. Yes, another mission. Find Aaron.

Treyen eyed Emalyn, waiting for her answer.

"Really?"Arya had swam in the lake mutiple times but had never ran across the squid."Maybe I should try to feed him somthing..."Her eyes lite up at what he said about the room of requirment. "Man I wanna go there, I good go for some uneven bars right now....what was it like?"

"It was faciniating!" he said, honestly. "The squid is so nimble, it just snatched them out of the air!" He was rmembering the time longingly. "DId you see the Quidditch Match?" he asked.

Nate stood there with his hands in his pockets while she went to her dormitory. When she returned he let his hand slide into hers as he walked towards the door. He led her threw the door.

"No how was it? I heard we won!"Arya still didn't care to much for the sport to go to the matches, though she promised herself she would go to atleast one match before the term ended. Still she was extremly proud of her house for wining.

Anastasia looked up over the top of her book. "Oh, did we win? That's very admirable."
She was glad her house had one something, but was really busy thinking about her brother. Dimitriv still hadn't written her. She hoped he was okay.

Ema nodded understandingly. "Yeah, she's always up to something. Anyone would be, in her position, I guess." And...oh dear, yes, it seemed that Kaika was almost more busy than Miranda at times. Or used to be. Of course, she couldn't really compare them because Kaika wasn't there. For all she knew Miranda was just as busy. Maybe she just didn't seem to have such a busy attitude as Kaika did.

Drake Warren. Oh yes. "Cool. So you like beaters?" Ema grinned. "Coooool, did you frame it?" What kinda question was that? And - wait, his own autograph? "Are...are you famous or something?" He sure acted like he was.

Ema shrugged, straightening out of her odd half-laying position. "Mmm, it's kinda hard to have a favorite subject in your first year. At least for me it was. Herbology is...interesting. I like muggle plants, like gardens and stuff, but some wizarding plants freak me out." She did NOT wanna be eaten by one of those things. "So...yes, flying is good. Flying is great. Flying is perfection."

Emalyn nodded, listening to him go on about purple and pink after his astonishment over Aaron. "Err - yeah. I didn't...I didn't really want a pink - I mean, magenta - one. Well, obviously, since I chose a purple one." Mmhmm. Magenta. Right. "Thanks, you have pretty good taste yourself there, buddy." Of course he did, he chose to come over and talk to her!

She lowered her bag down to the ground again. "Oh, sure! He's probably sleeping anyways. He can meet you later." she rested her chin on her hands again and looked up at Treyen. "Oooooh yeah, you wanted to find him, I forgot." I've been forgetting a lot lately... "Say hi to him for me...well...I dunno if he knows my name, I haven't really talked to him." Except for after the match when he fainted cause of a wee bit of blood. Pfft.
