| | |  Hufflepuff Common Room
After your journey through a door to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall and down a staircase there, you find yourself standing before a still life painting. Upon giving the correct password, you are allowed access to a warm, welcoming underground room, decorated in the Hufflepuff house colours. Gathered around the large fireplace are several oversized and overfilled plump sofas, which resemble fluffy clouds, and a variety of comfortable armchairs scattered around for you to rest your weary bodies in.
A long table sits in the brightest part of the room (torches are lit all day long) for the students who would rather do their homework in here than in their dormitories or the library.
Portraits of past well-known Hufflepuffs hang on one wall, among them are Cedric Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks, who died in the dark days of You-Know-Who's power, as well as the Fat Friar. Remember and honour them as you walk to or from your dormitories.
Two perfectly round, barrel top doors are positioned on opposing sides of the common room. They both open to reveal underground tunnels which will lead you to your common rooms; boys on the right, girls on the left. | |

Nymphy ran back down into the common rooom carrying an assorment of dies, brushes, and foils. He placed them on the long table in the middle of the common room. He looked around, couldn't see Jenny, and decided to sit in an arm chair an finish his Muggle Studies homework until she arrived.

"I needed a....change of scenery."It was true, sorta. She was geting tired of sitting still in the same position, being eleven will do that to you. Dangling a treat in front of Perseus, she kicked off her shoes letting the hit the floor behind the chair. She hadn't seen the little guy all day and they had some serious playin to do before she headed off to bed. "This is Perseus...and Perseus, that is Kita and Georgie."She pointed to both of her friends giggling as she introduced them to her kneazle kitten.
Perseus glaced at them before turning his attention back to the treat that was just out of his reach. Leaning on his back paws, he reached up and snatched the treat out of the air before jumping on the back of the chair to eat it. Arya just grined at the kitten before turning her attention back to her friends. "Do ya'll have any pets with you?"Maybe she could find a buddy for Perseus since Tallulah was too small and shy.

Midnight... Well, it should've been the quietest time of the day, right? Obviously, the badgers didn't think so, as some were still up. But Miranda wouldn't let this stop her, besides, they seemed occupied with other stuff. Her head and eyes were slightly downcast, making sure not to get any eyecontact with anyone.
Striding towards the door, she opened it, got out of the commonroom and let the door close behind her. She had to go.
