Cadence started eating her ice cream cone. Mmmm vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream! She got a little ice cream on her chin, and she giggled as Nate wiped it off for her. "Of course we are! Do I look like I can eat an ice cream cone AND a whole stack of pancakes by myself?" and she giggled again before going back to eating her ice cream.

"Surely not the way the house elf's made them, 5 pancakes!" he said peeking open the box.

Nymphy looked inquisitvely at her. "Are you sure. After taking the Calming Draught, you need like lots of rest. I'm not sure if that potion was strong enough. So, what happened anyway?" he asked. He sat down, getting tired from standing for so long.

"Well, I prefer to use the real thing when dealing with hair. I would be happy to do it for you. But....." he said, lementing the fact was so honest. He would have loved to do her hair. ".....if you really are determined to use magic. You could use the 'Abeo Colo!' spell. The object will slowly change color up and down the color wheel and when its the exact shade you want, you simply stop. If you miss and go to far, just keep going and it will eventually come back. But seriously, i would you absolutly love to do your hair!" he said.

Cadence laughed. "I've never eaten more than two pancakes at a time before!" mm but she sure could smell their delciousness wafting into her nose as Nate opened the box. She hurriedly finished her ice cream cone so she could eat the pancakes!

She looked up and saw Nymphy had sat by them. He was still worried about her. "Yes, Nymphy, I'm fine. I took a nap, just like the healer told me, and she said when I woke up, I'd be fine. I woke up, and I'm fine." Then she turned to Nate as if asking him to back her up and tell Nymphy that she was fine.

Nate finshed his taco and politely waited for her to finsh her ice cream before opening the box. He opened it and handed her a fork. He took one bite and laided his head back on the couch. "Mhmmm." he said to Nymphy. These pancakes were the best! They were gonna have to go back more often.

Once she had finished with her ice cream cone, the pancakes seemed like a very daunting task. It was okay, though, because Nate was a boy and boys eat a lot... right? She took the fork from him and took a bite. "Oh wow! These are really delicious! I wish I had eaten these instead of the ice cream!" she said with a giggle.

"I know right." he said taking a bite off her fork.

"Hey! That's my fork!" she said with a giggle, nudging him a little. She took a few more bites of pancakes and then, unfortunately, felt way too full to continue eating. She sat her fork down on the table. "AH! I wish I could eat more! They're so good!" and she laughed at herself for saying that. That had sounded really silly!

Nate finshed about half of them. "They. Were. So. Good." he said laying his head back.

Cadence giggled at him and poked him in the side. "I can't believe you ate all of that! Where did you put it all!" She asked him laughing, moving closer to him on the love seat.

"I'm not sure. Tommorrow I'm gonna wake up fat." he said pulling her hip to hip.

Cadence rolled her eyes. "I doubt it!" Once they were close enough, she laid her head down on his shoulder. He smelled like this odd combination of Nate and syrup. "So what do you want to do now?" she asked him quietly.

"Like you don't know." he muttered before closing his eyes. He wrapped his arms around her torso. Nate sighed a happy sigh.

Cadence smiled. "Mm... that sounds like a great idea to me!" she snuggled up as close as possible and closed her eyes, enjoying being able to just relax. At least here, in Hufflepuff, there wasn't a single person out to get them or embarrass them or be mean to them. Here, they could just be together and not have to worry about anything. Yep, Hufflepuff was definitely the best house in the world.

Nate kissed the top of her head and smiled.

As Cadence sat there next to him, cuddled up close to him, she began to hum softly and play with the collar of his shirt. She wasn't really sure what song she was humming, but it was something familiar, something that she knew explained how she felt about Nate, but for some reason, the words just wouldn't come to her. So, she continued humming quietly so that no one could hear her except Nate.

"What are you humming, babe?" he said not opening his eyes.

"Dunno." she responded quietly and continued humming that same song for awhile. Then suddenly, the words came to her, and she sang them softly without even thinking about it, still playing with the collar of his shirt. "When I fall in love, it will be forever, or I'll never fall in love. In a restless world like this is, love is ended before its begun, and too many moonlight kisses seem to cool in the warmth of the sun. When I give my heart, it will be completely, or I'll never give my heart. And the moment I can feel that you feel that way, too, is when I'll fall in love with you..."

Nate looked down over his chin at her and smiled at her singing softly. "Your so cute." he whispered over her singing.

Cadence smiled and looked up at him as best as she could. "What makes you say that? Hmm?"

"Thank you so much!" She said to Nymphy. She wasn't sure he knew her name. "You could do it if you really want! I don't really mind what color, as long as it doesn't go too far. Like green, bright neon green. Oh, and my name's Jenny."

"Right, Well I will try after I get the last off my homework done. Thanks Kita." Kay said jumping up and running out of the common room. She didn't like stay in there to long. She didn't know how to act if Lorcan would come in. So she just didn't sit in her favorite sofa that long.

"Nice to meet you Jenny!" he said, smiling and holding out his hand. "How about I do it tonight?" he asked. "I just need to get my stuff together. See you then" he said, heading toward his dormatory to get his things for class and hair dying,

"See ya soon!" Jenny said. What color? He could choose. She guessed that Nymphy would need more specific colors. Dark brown..maybe a streak of yellow, Hufflepuff rules, that works. Avery! Avery! Yes, the sixth year! Where is that girl? We were BFFs and now she's gone! She thought. Where was Avery?

Having turned in her chair so that she was sitting upside down, she smiled at Kay who had just ran into the common room. She had been wondering where Perseus was when the little kitten suddenly plopped himself into her lap. Tilting her head forward she grined at him, greeting him with a few scratches behind the ear.Charms homework... Though the class was easy to her she had still yet to do the homework. She listened to Kita and Kay talk, but before she could add in her two cents Kay ran out of the common room.


As she watched Kay leave she reached into her pocket and pulled out a cat treat. Playfully fighting Perseus away from her hand with the treat she quickly flicked her wrist, releasing it from it holster. Still upside down she placed the treat on the arm of the chair, giving Perseus a playfull look that said don't you dare touch it.With the little kitten waiting impatently she taped the treat and said,"Geminio". Another cat treat appeared beside the original, smiling she gave Persues to eat the clone treat. She didn't know how long it would last but she was sure it would last for a while. Charms seemed to come easily to Arya.
