"Yeah," Kita said to Kay who had just come running into the common room, "What's the charm?"

Nymphy's pile of homework was so large that it was now porportional to bbaby hippo or a large gnome. He sat down and got right into it. it wasn't very hard, but it was quite time comsuming. He releized that much of the first year's workl was just busy work. WHen he got about half of it done, he decided that it was bed time!!!!

Cadence slowly made her way to the Common Room, aided by Nate. She was very thankful to have such a wonderful boyfriend because she never would have made it down all those stairs by herself. When they were finally there, she made her way over to their favorite love seat near the fire and sat down, completely and utterly exhausted. The healer said she should sleep. Yes, sleep sounded nice. She laid down on the love seat, curled up a little. Cadence wanted Nate's jacket, but it was all the way in her dormitory. She was a little chilly and liked to be under blankets when she slept, but oh well. Right now, she just wanted sleep. Sleep and for Nate to not leave. Fighting to keep her eyes open, she quietly said, "Nate, if it's not too much trouble, could you maybe... stay with me?"

"Sure. I'll read a book or something. Would you like a blanket or anything? Maybe another sweatshirt?" he said winking at the sleepy Cady. He stroked her hair sweetly waiting for her to speak.

Mm... he was playing with her hair... that always made her reallly sleepy. Her eyes now completely closed and her breathing slowing down, all she managed to audiate was an, "mhmm." She wasn't asleep, but her brain wanted her to sleep and her body didn't want to expend too much energy. So, the result was not being able to give Nate a proper response. "mhmm" would have to suffice and he would make of it what he wanted to.

Nate smiled at her. He picked her up and laided her on the burgendy couch. He laided a blanket over her and pulled a book out of his bag. He sat at the end of the couch with her head in his lap.

Cadence felt herself being moved around, but she didn't care. She knew it was Nate because of the way he held her. And then she was on a different couch with a warm blanket and her head in his lap. Finally, she drifted into a peaceful sleep and eventually finding herself in a dream about laying on a beach somewhere in the sunshine with Nate. Was this Florida? It had to be. The sky was bright blue and the waves gently lapped against the shore. It was peaceful and calm. She was laying on a blanket next to Nate. He was holding her close, and then he was kissing her: the kind of kiss ever girl dreamed of, the kind of kiss that spread through every vein in your body, the kind you never ever wanted to end. And then the kiss was over, and she just stared into his eyes.

And she just slumbered on peacefully right there close to Nate, her mind and body repairing itself from the shock of earlier that day.

"Ok, we have to do the Geminio Charm and I'm going to try it on this." Kay said handing out the gold snitch. The snitch lay in her hand and she looked up at her friends. "Do you think it will work on this? I mean it doesn't fly anymore but I thought it would be a great to use." She wonder if her friends would think the some.

Nate read his book and stroking her hair. He wondered what she was dreaming about. Probably him if it was a good dream. If it was a nightmare it could be a number of things.

After a few hours, Cadence began to wake up. At first, she was confused as to where she was. Her eyes opened slowly and she took in a familiar smell: Nate was there. She rolled over onto her back and looked up at him smiling, feeling calmer than she had in a really long time. Still a little sleepy, her brain worked hard to remember how she had gotten here. Lake. Hospital Wing? Asleep in the Common Room. Had... had she asked Nate to stay with her? How long had he been just sitting there? "How long have I been asleep? Why did you stay? You didn't have to..." She felt kind of bad... it had to have been dreadfully boring for him to just sit there while she slept.

"It's ok. Your a cute sleeper. But I think my legs have fallen asleep. You've been out for 2 or 3 hours." he said trying to calm her down by whispering and stroking her hair.

Okay, now Cadence felt really bad. She sat up slowly to allow his poor legs to wake back up. "I'm sorry..." she mumbled, looking at the ground. She tucked her hair behind her ear, Nate's ring catching the light from the fire. Looking at it for a moment, she smiled, and then turned back to look at him. "Why did you stay?"

"Well truthfully I wasn't sure how long you were gonna sleep so I just let you lay on my lap. But I watched you sleep and did my homework so now I can hang out with you!" he said smiling.

"Well, what do you want to do?" Cadence asked, scooting back over close to him so she was sitting right next to him. She laid her head on his shoulder. Even though she was awake now, she didn't feel completely awake. It was kind of an... odd feeling actually. She kind of just wanted to sit here and cuddle with him, but he was probably very tired of sitting as he had just sat there for three hours while Cadence slept on him.

"We could just sit here and cuddle." he said sensing that she wanted to do just that. "Or we could go to the Three Broomsticks and eat lunch, my treat. Seeing how we missed breakfast." Wow they were in the hospital for a long time.

Cadence smiled and snuggled up even closer. "How did you know that was all I wanted to do?" she asked with a giggle. Hmm... Three Broomsticks... she made a face at the thought of that. Hogsmeade was quite a walk away. "How about... we just go to the kitchen and get something and bring it back here?" Cadence felt this was a much better alternative. First because it was closer, second because it was free, and third because it didn't require going out in the cold fall air.

Nate kissed her forehead. "Kitchen it is. Come on, I'll give you a ride on my back." he said standing up.

Cadence smiled and then hopped on his back after he had stood up. With her arms around his neck, she laid her chin on his shoulder and kissed him on the cheek. And off they went!

Nymphy walked into the common room and could tell something was wrong immediatly. Nate was having to support Cadence. "Is everything alright here?" he asked, rushing over. He got to the pair and looked at Cadence. " Where are two going, becasue it better be the hospital wing!" he said, looking worried and concernend.

Cadence laughed at Nymphy's worried expression. "I've already been there! I'm fine, don't worry. We're just going to the kitchens to get some food!" And she giggled as she and Nate left the Common Room.

"Well........?" he said incredulously. "What happened?" he said. "And I am sure that the nurse thingee or who ever watches over the hopital wing wouldn't let you go like this. Your in a right state!" he said, watching her almost limp body being supported by Nate. "You obviously need a Strengthening Soulution or a Restorative Daft!" he said, tryingto lead Nate and subsiquently Cadence's limp body with him.

Jenny relaxed on a chair. She wanted someone to do her hair, and she didn't know any spells to change the color. "Hey-" She said to the boy named Nymphy. She knew his name, it was said often. "Umm, do you know a spell I can change something's color, such as my hair? Or flowers!" She said, picking up a flower from her vase.

Cadence heard Nymphy saying something to them as they left the Common Room, but the portrait had swung shut behind him and silenced his voice.

When they returned from the kitchen, carrying their random food choices, Cadence looked for Nymphy. "Nymphy, I don't think you understood. I had already been to the Hospital Wing. She gave me a Calming Draught. I slept. Nate was just carrying me on his back because it was fun, not because I couldn't walk." she said with a giggle

Then she proceeded over to Nate and Cadence's favorite love seat. She sat Nate's taco down on a nearby table and pulled it over to the love seat. Looking up at Nate, she smiled, "I should probably eat the ice cream first, so it doesn't melt!" And she giggled, waiting on him to hand over the ice cream.

Nate smiled at her as he handed her the ice cream cone. He took the taco from her and ate a bite. "We are sharing those pancakes. Am I right?" he said wiping ice cream from her chin with his thumb.

"Right," Kita said, thinking. After a minute or so, she said, "It might. I mean, there's no harm in trying is there?" She just hoped that the spell went well.
