After your journey through a door to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall and down a staircase there, you find yourself standing before a still life painting. Upon giving the correct password, you are allowed access to a warm, welcoming underground room, decorated in the Hufflepuff house colours. Gathered around the large fireplace are several oversized and overfilled plump sofas, which resemble fluffy clouds, and a variety of comfortable armchairs scattered around for you to rest your weary bodies in.
A long table sits in the brightest part of the room (torches are lit all day long) for the students who would rather do their homework in here than in their dormitories or the library.
Portraits of past well-known Hufflepuffs hang on one wall, among them are Cedric Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks, who died in the dark days of You-Know-Who's power, as well as the Fat Friar. Remember and honour them as you walk to or from your dormitories.
Two perfectly round, barrel top doors are positioned on opposing sides of the common room. They both open to reveal underground tunnels which will lead you to your common rooms; boys on the right, girls on the left. | |

Sarah came downstairs from her little escapade in the 7th year dormitory, and had it in mind to find Torin and give him the shoe before she forgot.Cos, well....it would be in her mind to forget it if left.
Stepping off the last stair, she glanced around, hoping he would be there and she wouldn't have to search too far.Luckily he was.Far off to the side chatting to a girl she didn't know.Strolling over, Sarah coughed slightly to get his attention. He'd still not really got to the bottom of all that...
She was asking about his arm and his hair. He quickly rolled down his sleeve, covering the burn. Pretending that she hadn't seen it he said; "Oh well, y'know, time for a change. Don't you like it?" He ran his hand through it, missing his curls.

Nymphy came down from the dormatory. he had in his hands hair dye, some towels, a hair dryer, and a brush. it wasn't his usual full kit, but anything else he needed could be supplied by his wand.
He sat the items on a table and waited for Avery to return. While he waited, he got out his Astronomy homeworke and finished it.

She was asking about his arm and his hair. He quickly rolled down his sleeve, covering the burn. Pretending that she hadn't seen it he said; "Oh well, y'know, time for a change. Don't you like it?" He ran his hand through it, missing his curls.
Kylie chuckled lightly at his mention of 'best of a small number' she hoped he knew she hadn't meant it in a negative fashion...
She narrowed her eyes a bit whilst Lorcan attempted to dodge the subject. No one dodged subjects with her. "Liar." She called him out blatantly. She wanted an answer, she'd get one. It wasn't as if she was a random girl off the street, she was a friend of Lorcan's. She'd carried him to the hospital, talked to him, and also confided in him.
Nope. She wasn't letting 'im off the hook that easy.

Nate strolled in the Common Room with his hand around Cad's waist pulling her close. He felt her warth radiat off her skin. He saw thier love seat was taken so he walked over to a armchair slightly smaller than thier loveseat but still big enough to hold the two of them. Plus, it was by the fireplace.
