She shook her head. "Well then, you just need to talk to him first." She put a little of the small red candies into a bag and looked up at Violet. "There are a lot of things that we do out of fear, and if we let that fear continue to get to us, we make it worse. If you can find him, quickly, and talk to him, you may be able to cut that short. Sit down with him, tell him that there have been things you want to be honest about, but you were too scared to say them. If you say it that way, he might understand a little more. But if she tells him first, then it may turn out badly."
Oh yeah, she was the one to be giving advice on honesty. She still hadn't said... "I know... There are things I didn't tell you that night too, because I didn't want to worry you. And... I didn't want to make you hate me even more."
