Damon saw that the fireplace had a couple a food items that could be roasted to perfection. Hotdogs and Marshmellows that was a great combination. He noticed the roasting forks that were laying around as well. He thought muggles mostly used these, however it appeared that the students were getting the chance to use them as well.

Damon took one of the roasting forks and bent down a few feet away from the fire. He placed a good and generously large hot dog on the end and carefully placed it near the fire. He constantly watched how it was doing and didnt want to keep his eyes. Now it looked ready. He took it off the end of the fork. It tasted good.

EEP it was getting crowded over here! Was Healer Ashford really popular? Cause they certainly weren't all coming over there to talk to him. Hehe. "Hey Mr. Masterson! And hey there Katie! Long time no talk!" he said with a grin. He remembered that she was the girl he had met a few terms ago...the one who didn't like Cy and Legend. Or, did she? And they just annoyed her a lot? He couldn't remember. "What's up?" he asked her.

Jack wrinkled his eyebrows and glared at him. "Thank...you?" he said in confusion. What were you supposed to say to that?! He felt slightly self conscious now, but he had to remind himself that Legend was messing with him. He WANTED him to feel self conscious. HE WAS WINNING!

"Really? How so? Cause last I checked catching the snitch was pretty much the best you could get as a seeker," he said with a small chuckle.

When he asked if Burrito was her dog, Gabriella nodded then reached down and scooped up the Chihuahua. "This is Burrito," she said, nodded towards the little pup. It seemed she had scooped up her dog just in time, as the groundskeeper was now entering with his rather large dog (especially compared to Burrito) accompanying him.

"He did. It was a definite challenge," Jack said, nodding in agreement. "Really? A keeper? That's cool! Did you guys ever win the cup?" he asked in interest. "We're trying really hard this term to get it...I don't think we've won it once since I've been in school," he said with a small frown.

"Burrito? That's a cute name," he said with a small chuckle.

Jake walked towards the fire. He loved the warmth. It was nice to be warm in the winter. He took a marshmellow, sat and roasted it, 'til it nice and burnt. Putting it in his mouth he waited to see if the others were going to join. EEEEk the marshmellow was sticking to his mouth! After a while it finally went down. phew

Ziva laughed her booming laugh once more. "I don't know. I think I'll talk with Chloe first." she told her. Chloe would be more understanding of the situation. She was after all...a girl...but she wasn't for sure if she really should approach Chloe with something like that.

"Should I though?" Zi asked her. "I haven't known her that long, I don't want to scare her off or anything."

Nina followed Jake to the fire. Her eyes widened.

"Hot Dogs!!!! Marshmallows!!!" She cried and grabbed a stick-thing and a hot dog and a couple marshmallows and began roasting them all at once.

"Sorry for my obnoxious eating" she said to Jake. "I love food. I hope I'm not making you uncomfortable." She was stick thin after all. Underweight her whole life actually.

Cadence considered this question for a moment. She hadn't met Chloe over break, but from what she heard she seemed like a nice person. "I thiink that if you tell Chloe first, she might be able to soften the blow for Asher..." she said honestly. Cadence thought that it might be easier for Asher to hear that Ziva was growing up from Chloe than it would coming from Ziva.

"No problem mate." Legend said with an innocent smile. He HAD to make Jack crack. That was his goal this year. He had to achieve it. "I bet you can still live a normal life though, it's only the shape of your head no biggie. You can over come people stopping and staring at you like those circus people." Did he feel bad about doing this? No. Not really. He actually felt pretty good.

"Well thats what the stupid offical Quidditch rules say. But you took like foooreeever to catch it." The game should have ended sooo much sooner.

HAHA okay he didn't have to worry the world wasn't ending. Katie was being Katie. Legened smirked. Theen he stuffed the whole hot dog in his mouth and began chewing. "Yesfffff owww ifsf 'abbb. 'Nnn crwfy 'uuuude?" He asked as little bits of hot dog flew toward her.Ohhh. She was gonna freak. Hee was dead. Dead. Dead. Oh well it was funny!

Ziva nodded her head. "Yeah, that makes sense." Ziva said confirming it. When she got the chance, she'd write to Chloe. "Anything new with you and lover boy?" Ziva asked, turning the focus on Cadence.

Jake shook his head, as nina started to grab, what he thought was everything.

"slow down." he said chuckling "Your not going to leave stuff for the others"

He wondered how she stayed skinny

Miranda was all engrossed in her 'little' stash of food, wondering what kind of fillings the chocolate had and wether the muffins were infact made of blueberries, and walking along to...somewhere. Well, she was being drawned towards the heat, so the fireplace it was.

Ey!? Miranda's gaze fell on Oliver, who was sitting down and munching on a piece of pizza. Pizza! Ack, she knew she'd forgotten something as important as food! Well, she'd have to go back and get some. Smiling, she wandered over closer to the boy and sat down by his sleeping bag, totally not catching the little name he had called her. "Thank-you!" She looked like --->

Miranda started to look around the little spot of floor infront of her, wondering where the flarpitty she would put all the food. Eh? Different? Oh, the slumber party. "Yeah, it is." She smiled and looked around, "I've never been to one of these...at school that is. How about you?"

Finally deciding to just dump all her crap on her hoodie, she turned to Oliver. "Oh heeey, awesome job on the pitch, man. How did you feel?" Because really, he should be happy about his playing. Miranda thought he did great. And a Seeker no less. Sheesh!

Katie stared up at the man for a moment, noticing something was off. Everyone was cheerful and excited and already having fun, even Healer Ashford! Him.. not so much? "You look sad, Mister Masterson." She observed, frowning a tiny bit. Maybe someone had let pixies go in his hut? No, he'd probably be mad if that was the cause. Oh! Maybe someone broke his wand! That would be upsetting.
Jack remembered her! Katie cheered up a bit more, smiling happily. "Long, long time" She agreed abruptly, glancing up toward the enchanted ceiling and back to the Head Boy. "The magical ceiling and it's illusion of the night sky?" the Third year knew he didn't mean it literally, but she was having a bit of fun. "Uhm, just trying to make it through the school year and keep Mat and Cy and Legend from doing stupid things. What about you, are you ready to graduate?"
No. He. Did. NOT. "Legend Chosen!" Kaitlynnh shrieked, jumping back recklessly as he unintentionally sprayed his food while he spoke, mouth full of hot dog. She nearly fell down, caught off balance but managed to stop before it went that far, and luckily neither pups were under her feet or too close behind her. No one was stepped on yet. Her face flushed, uncharacteristically.

She could have landed on one of the animals, or dropped her own, or even fell into another person! All because of Chosen. Katie glared angrily at him, biting her tongue not to start shouting as they were in front of the whole Great Hall and causing a scene wasn't a very good idea. "I told you NOT to do that!" HMMMMMMPH.

Taking a deep breath in a failed attempt to soothe her nerves, Katie found an empty spot to sit within the group where she wouldn't be in the way but still close to both Healer Ashford and Jack (so hopefully Legend wouldn't mess with her) and knelt down on her knees to adjust her hold on the bunny rabbit, setting her in her lap. While biting down on her lower lip, the small brunette scanned over her front and arms to make sure Legend hadn't gotten any food bits on her. Ewww.

Cadence turned over her shoulder again looking at Nate and that same silly smitten smile stretched across her face. "Nope, nothing new really. We're still good. He's still amazing. I'm still completely and totally in love with him..." And Cadence blushed a little bit, but she didn't care that she said it. Cadence would walk up to that karaoke thing and tell the whole entire world that she loved Nate and didn't care who knew it, but she would refrain from embarrassing him that much.

Nina threw her head back and laughed.

"I'll stop eventually. Soon I'll be like starving and grab a box of Bertie Botts one second, and the next I'll just put it down not being able to eat a single bean." She smiled. So she was being fat tonight?? It was a sleepover, she felt entitled to be fat.

Nate waved a little wave as he crawled back over to Cadence. "So how are my favorite Hufflepuff's doing this evening?" he said pulling Cadence onto his lap. "I do believe I just interrupted your girly chats. I wish to make a s'more. But my arms seem to be paralyzed. Can you feed me yours, my dear?" Nate tried to keep a straight face then entire time. He made sure not to lift his arms at all.

Cadence looked from Nate to Ziva, and meeting her gaze, she just burst out laughing for a few minutes. Then she looked back at Nate and picked up her s'more. "You know, it's a good thing you're so cute because this is the perfect s'more, and I wouldn't give it up for just anyone," she teased, adjusting herself on his lap. Then she fed him the last bite of her s'more and made sure to get some sticky melted marshmallow on his nose as she did so. Then she gave a little giggle and kissed it back.

Realizing she was probably making Ziva feel awkward, she turned back to her, realizing something weird. "Hey, Zi, where's Pierre at? Does he think he's too cool for slumber parties or something?" she asked with a little laugh.

Alexa's eye twinkled as she saw the roaring fire and all of the goodies for roasting marshmallows. Barely containing herself she made her way over and grabbed a roasting fork a big fat marshmallow and began to roast. She already had a little baggie of chocolate nad graham crackers... S'mores woot woot!

"It's nice to meet you. My sister, Melissa, was a Hufflepuff," she said, turning her attention back to Katie. "I have lots of siblings---two Slytherin brothers, a Ravenclaw sister, and the Hufflepuff sister I mentioned." Again, talk of her siblings made her miss her family so very much, but Gabriella was so happy here at Hogwarts. She knew her family understood that she was where she was truly meant to be, too.

Gabriella continued to hold out the roasting fork as she waited for Constantine's reply. He looked as irritated as ever, and she truly thought he was about to bite her head off. What was up with the guy? Seriously! She sighed softly and lowered the roasting fork when he declined her offer. She shrugged a little then stuck a marshmallow on the roasting fork and held it over the fire. There was no use trying to spark up conversation with him now.

"Well, it sounds like winning the game was a definite challenge. Although, that's the kind of games I enjoy the most. It's not as exciting when one team just slaughters the other," she remarked. She certainly remembered games like that back when she was in school. Sometimes they did the slaughtering, but other times they got slaughtered, too. "Of course we won the cup a few times. I think everyone has had their turn winning a cup. It seems to be someone different every year or so. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be on the cup-winning team soon!"

When he commented on her Chihuahua's name, Gabriella glanced down at Burrito and ran her fingers down his back once again. She was getting a little tired of holding him, though, so she laid him back down at her feet.

Just as she leaned over to place Burrito back on the ground, Gabriella picked up on a bit of the conversation going on between Katie and the groundskeeper. With a little sigh, she changed spots and moved closer to Constantine. Standing beside him, yet glancing down into the flames, she asked, "...you okay?"

Jack subconsciously touched the sides of his head, but quickly dropped his hands when he realized what he was doing. Legend was just messing with him...his head was totally normal! "My head is fine...if anything, it's too SMALL for the rest of my frame."

Jack was too focused on making a good comeback that he didn't even realize that he was making an even worse statement about his head shape.

He glared at the kid when he said he was too slow at catching the snitch. "Sometimes it's just best to take your time. Worked in the end, didn't it?"

"OHMIGOSH did I tell you?! The Ballycastle Bats have already offered me a spot on one of their reserve teams next year. I'll have to start at the very bottom, because I turned them down on their offer to start this year, butttttt it's still something!" he told her with a grin. He hadn't realized how excited he was until now. In a few months, he'd be an international star!

Well, maybe not a few MONTHS. But he'd get his chocolate frog card eventually!

Hands deep in his pockets, staring at the fire while Roma hungrily stared at the kids roasting their marshmellows. To make everything better, Gabriella moved to stand beside him. He sighed at her question and shrugged. "I'll live," he answered.

When Mr. Masterson apologized, Katie began to shake her head, ignoring the dark curls that moved with the swift motion until one fell into her face at which point she brushed the strand away. "It's not your fault you're down." Katie paused, stroking Nova's soft tan furr as she cuddled closer to her stomach. "I will, but you should enjoy it too. Maybe we can cheer you up! Do you like s'mores? I could make you one," the small Hufflepuff girl offered, not sure if that would help or not. It was worth a try.
Katie's dark eyes traveled back to Healer Ashford, still stroking Nova's furr while she listened. "Very nice to meet you too, ma'am." As she was told of the nurses' siblings, her mouth fell open ever so slightly out of surprise. She had a lot of brothers and sisters! "Really? Is Melissa your older sister?" Katie asked without thinking she may be prying, curiousity getting the best of her. "I have lots of siblings too, but only two of them went to Hogwarts before me; both were Hufflepuffs. What house were you in?"

Tilting her head to the side, she watched as Healer Ashford stood and went closer to Mister Masterson. Apparently, she wasn't the only one who noticed he seemed glum.
Katie beamed, proud of herself for at least attempting to help Jack with the Terrible Troublesome Trio: Terrors 1, 2 and 3. And no, she did not care who chose what number. They would probably fight over the first slot. Boys.. "Anytime. They need a female around, you know. Knock some sense into them when it's needed," she threw a quick glance at Legend. He proved her point all the time. "I hope you were right about some boys maturing, when we talked that first time a couple terms ago." She added, looking to Jack.

"That's what I always hear from graduating students." Katie nodded. It was what she heard for the longest time from her sister and Legend's sister and around the castle, throughout the past three years. "But it'll be good, right? You must have big plans for the future!"

He really couldn't understand why Katie was mad. If he wanted to stuff his face with food then he could. It was his mouth. People were so weird. Legend opened his mouth to say something else but stopped. Did he really want to die with hot dog in his mouth and in the middle of the great hall at 13 years old?

Nodding he slowly tried to chew the hot dog in his mouth. Then he realized something. It tasted funny. Like...weird. What if it wasn't cooked properly?!? He would diie!!

Oh well.

Swallowing the rest of the weirdly tasting meat he shrugged. "I told you not to do that." Legend mimicked in a high voice. "I told you not to talk about me with other people but you still do it. I am allowed to do anything I want! Youu are not my boss." Even though she thought she was because she was extremely bossy. Sleepovers were created so people could have fun. Not to be bossed around. Therefore, Katie should have been kicked out.

Ohhh Jack was the smartest seventh year ever. Not. Legend was laughing soo much inside however he couldn't celebrate yet. Nope. He had to wait until he actually cracked him. Blinking innocently his eyes opened wide. "YOUR RIGHT! It iss smaller than the rest of your body. Weird. Ew you look like your some sort of alien if I tilt my head. I mean...small head and then it's shaped funny like someone squished it together." Legend backed away a bit. What he really wanted to do though was LAUGH. "Maybe you should ask Healer Ashford if like...you have some sort of disease."

"It would have worked in the end either way, but the faster way would have saved alot of wasted time dummy." Wasn't it obvious? Seriously? Did he have to teach everyone everything?

Ziva turned back to the fire laughing loudly . If only Nathaniel had known about what they had just been talking about, he'd understand the fits of giggles they were in.

Ziva blushed and fidgeted with the hem of her pajama bottoms and pulled the sleeves of her night hoodie over her hands. This was getting just a little awkward now. She brushed off the cracker crumbs from the s'more from her sleep shirt and sat up straighter when Pierre's name got brought up.

"Eh, I don't know. I looked for him." Ziva told the two. "He might think that, but he'd come if I was here." Ziva smiled.

Cadence thought for a moment about how to get him down here. "Hey! You could send him a tweet so he would know you were here!" she said with a smile at Ziva. Then she heard singing from somewhere and looked around, seeing that the professors had set up a karaoke machine and whatnot. Looking back at Ziva and Nate, she smiled and said, "I'll be right back." After kissing Nate on the cheek, she scampered off to sing karaoke. A song dedicated to all her friends, and especially to Nate.

After singing, Cadence returned and sat back down, smiling, but didn't say a word. She wasn't the kind to fish for praise. Cady was confident in her singing abilities, but that was beside the point. That song was for Nate and her friends, and not just about showing off that she could sing.

Constantine gave a little grin. Sometimes, these kids could be really adorable. "Sure, kid," he nodded, "I'll take a s'more. Thanks."
