Alessia conjured a stool and placed it at the other side of the great hall. This was going to be a fun evening... She could see Tate on the dias and she smiled. Silly boys never changed. She placed the book under the stool and waited for children to gather.

Thinking they needed some thinking food, she reached into her pillowcase where she'd put the food she'd stashed from the Junk Food Feast.
Taking out her bowl of white chedder popcorn and her cup of punch both enchanted to not spill, she then reached into the case and got two straws.
Sipping from the blue one she offered some to Arya as she munched on some of the popcorn.
Suddenly nose began twitching...and then tingling...
Turning away from Arya and the Professor, she covered her mouth and sneezed.
Hmm that was weird.
Looking back around the area she tried to see who had ice with them.
"But there's not anyone here who doesn't like me. Well, Destiny but that's a long story. I could be someone pulling a prank."She wasn't sure if Destiny had forgivin her about the fight they had in potions class. It really wasn't her fault.
She accepted the bottle from her and took a sip and looked around the room for someone who would try to prank her."Bless you."She really hoped her friend wasn't catching a cold.

Maybe she would find the spider in the dungeons later. It was so cuuuute!
"Exactly." she said, giving her friend a small smirk before turning her gaze away. Let Destiny think on that for awhile. Surely that would distract her enough until Professor Lupa started the story. One person was enough to get detention. They didn't need another. Although, it would be slightly fun to have Destiny there along with Josh...

He turned around only to see a girl he had not met before, but he wished that he had met her before since the moment he saw her, he thought that any moment he had spent previously without knowing her was a total waste. So, he just kept staring at her as the girl spoke not really understanding what she was talking about as he watched with awe. She could stand there and speak but what....she was leaving. No ''My name is Joshua!'' he uttered quickly right after her as she tripped when trying to leave.
Speaking of Josh, she heard his voice AND name being said somewhere over to her left near the food table. Glancing over, she saw him with another girl, and he was introducing himself? Alright, well...at least that was all. Right?
But there was something...in his eyes and his expression... She couldn't put her finger on it, but it was just something was familiar about them. The way he was looking at that girl. Well, either way, she was going to be keeping a close watch on Josh and that girl. And Mr. Stutters...

Alessia smiled at her best friend. "Iliana, I'm so very sorry I've been... secluded... but it's a little hard with you and Marcus... and me... alone..." She said and nodded. She waved her wand and transfigured her robes into her jammies.
"Quiet children... I'm going to start telling you a story..." She said picking up her book and then looking around, she put the book down. She was not going to read from the Bard today... So began speaking.
ooc: for those of you who can't download the sound: "And how do stories begin? Once upon a time, not so long ago, in a land not so far away, lived a young girl whose name was… Lettie."
Finally reaching Tibi and co. again, Jake lay down on his belly, resting his head against his pillow. He'd ignore everyone else. Yes he would. He'd just wait for the story.
Snifflecry.
He still hadn't realised his wand was missing...
Caaaaalm down, Jakers. You're okay. Story soon. You're okay.
Tibi uncurled himself from his spider-defense position as Jake crawled over. Silently, and sadly, considering his friend, Tibi scooted over to stretch out next to him. Pulling himself over so that they were almost shoulder to shoulder, Tibi took another scoot even further so that he could put his head next to Jake's.
Turning so that he could whisper, he bumped his head against his friend. "It'll be ok, Jake. Come on. Lupa's gonna tell us a story." He whispered to his friend, trying to cheer him up. Reaching behind him, he grabbed the bag of candy. Plopping it down near his friend, he opted to chance the sugar rush. "Take something. It'll make you feel better."

And the Jake guy was somehow stopping from crying. He'd better stay that way. Yes. For his own good. Because those girls would bother him again, and apparently he couldn't deal with them. Apparently.
Still, he knew the boy's name was Jake because one of the mean girls had mentioned it. So, Treyen poked the boy, "I don't think we've met, I'm Treyen, Treyen Lockhart" he said, "And I hope you don't keep on crying, unless we're told a sad story, and even then, it's no good for those girls to see you cry" entirely true. So he better not cry.
Twisting to look at the first year who clearly was not helping, Tibi scrunched. "Shhhhhush," he hissed at the boys, leaning so that he could talk to Treyen without Jake hearing. "If he wants to cry, let him cry.'
Boys could cry. Tibi totally did all the time.

The boy reached out straight away, opting to wait a second before looking to the other kid... Treyen. "I'm Jake Upstead," he whispered to the kid, before looking back to the candy.
He felt better already.
Looking up to Lupa as she started speaking, Jake unwrapped the frog and slowly raised it to his lips.

Slightly disheveled, Wesley had just taken a seat, rearranged her white cotton nightgown and slipped inside the comfy purple sleeping bag so that she had something to cover her legs as she sat, when Professor Lupa started talking.

Wide eyed and attentive she hugged the plush pillow tight. Already the Hufflepuff had questions.
Was Lettie short for Leticia?
Was not so far away France? Or Italy?
And how not so long ago was not so long ago?
Was this story nonfiction or fiction? Wesley highly suspected Science Fiction.
But the 13-year-old did not interrupt, less she ruin the magic.

Becca was thinking about the nights events and about her first sleepover ever with her best friend Lissie. Smiling like an idiot, Becca remembered their pillow fight, which had resulted in a very messy basement and a very angry pair of parents. As professor Lupa began to tell the story, Becca was drawn out of her thoughts and began to listen.
Kellen settled in to listen to the bedtime story. This, if nothing else, was a marker of how much he'd changed since coming to Hogwarts. He didn't know where his cousin was, but the answer was definitely not here. Only five months ago he would have scoffed at the notion of listening to a professor tell stories. Now he was actually paying attention and tucking himself into his sleeping bag.
Sighing Sabel frowned at the ceiling. He wanted to listen to the story. He really did. The only problem was his sleeping bag. Somehow it had managed to twist itself about his body in the most uncomfortable of ways. Especially his feet. It was like a salior's hand at knots down there and he had NO idea how it had gotten that way. Well, he had a few regarding two left feet, but STILL.
Letting out another sigh he continued what he had been doing for the past two minutes; shifting around to try and break free of the strangling captivity of the bedroll.

Why did it seem like Evelyn did not believe what Destiny had said? Surely Evelyn witnessed the whole thing with her own eyes! Destiny didn't even touch Jake to make him fall or anything, but now that she thought about it, she should have. That would have been better.
Destiny didn't even have the chance to find his missing wand, and was about to ask Evelyn if she saw it but Professor Lupa stated talking..

Glancing at Destiny for a moment who was making herself comfortable, Evelyn sat stone still as Professor Lupa started telling everyone to quiet down. Good, the story was starting.
Scooting a little more up so her whole back was touching the cold wall behind her, she moved her legs closer in to herself and wrapped her arms around her knees, making sure to not squeeze them too hard for fear of breaking either of the wands in her sleeve.
Although, she was confused when Lupa suddenly put the book down. Whaa? Was she making up a story? Or was it real... and who was Lettie?!

Arya gave up her search when the professor had spoke again. Taking her place back beside professor Lawson, she suggled herself into her sleeping bag. She looked up at the professor with big eyes as she gave her undivided attention to the story teller.

OOC: Before it begins
Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!
Rubbing her nose, she shook her head wonderingly. What in the world...maybe she was allergic to the popcorn.
Setting it aside, she took a big sip of punch.
"Yeah I don't know if Destiny is still mad about the whole cat fight thing we all had in potions..."
Big brown eyes hopped from person to person.
"What about that little kid from Potions the one who stuck the gum up Peeves' nose? He seems like the sort.."
One more big sip and then a splutter as she gasped.
"You know who does seem like the sort...PEEVES!"
Looking around as if willing herself to see what was invisible, she scanned around and sighed taking another sip. There was no way of knowing.
OOC: After it begins
Hearing the Professor begin to speak, she continued sipping her cup as she snuggled into her bear sleeping bag next to Arya and Professor Lawson wondering if this story was going to have a happy ending....she really liked happy endings.

Finally the story was starting. Marie tried to get compfy so she could listen but the floor was just too hard for comfort. She looked over at Destiny all snug in her sleeping bag. 'Rats, I should have brought my sleeping bag over with me too.' Oh well, too late she was just going to have to make the best of it. Leaning against the wall she listened to Professor Lupa read as she glanced around looking for spiders. Hopefully this story wasn't going to have any spiders in it, she had enough of them for one day. Besides if it did Jake would probably try taking the book away.
She was raised by a muggle mother who practiced law in a downtown firm, and a wizard father who worked for that land’s ministry of magic. The girl was a normal young witch until she was cursed by an evil creature.
"I have my doubts about that," he said to Dylan, sitting down next to Kiri before she could do drastic things to make him sit. She was getting that look in her eye. Heh. "My ears are more sensitive than the tail is, I think..."
Finishing off the other half of the frog, he looked at Kiri and grinned. Impatient for stories and making up superheroes? Sounded like she had had too much sugar.
"I wouldn't know you had, it sounds like a legitimate character." He reached for the blister on his ear again and shook his head at Dylan. That was not suggestible. "It... would bleed? And probably hurt a lot. I'd rather we didn't do that."
Oh hey Gold. Raiden gave her a little smile and a wave as she approached them, his tail giving a little wag. Another prefect, good. At least he wasn't the only one ignoring the chaos that was going on.
"We've met... Hehe on the train, and in a few classes." Kiri might not have though... she might have, actually. Did prefects often run into the Quidditch Captains? He had yet to see the Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff ones... eh. Didn't matter. "Gold was actually in class when..."
Well. He gestured at his ears.

Putting her head on her knees, she watched him closely as he talked to Dylan. This was the first time in... forever that she'd managed to see him without him being surrounded by classmates during the lessons or, out of lessons, depressingly large amounts of attractive girls (in particular that girl), and she realised she might have missed him more than she thought she had.
But Raiden also looked different. Apart from the Kneazle ears and tail, of course. He'd grown even more, now being what Kiri judged to be close to a foot taller than she was, and for some reason appeared much more serious than before, possibly even subdued. She wondered what had happened - and why she hadn't found out about it. Maybe she could go and ask Celandine about it, but Kiri hadn't seen her in a few days either, not even in classes. Usually it was hard to miss her.
She smiled. She wasn't quite sure what Raiden and Dylan were talking about, but Raiden's ears flicked backwards and forwards in response to what Dylan was saying. It looked weird and fascinating and very, very cute. Before she had to explain herself, however, another person arrived to join their merry little group.
"Hi there, Gold!" Kiri greeted the girl. Dylan's girlfriend? Interesting, Kiri thought, watching her sit down next to Dylan so that they practically mirrored Kiri and Raiden (except, of course, in the way that mattered...).
"Oh, I know her," Kiri told the two boys brightly, "we've met in Muggle Studies. When we were doing the football stuff. And in Astronomy too!" Kiri nodded. "So smart!"
"Yeah but its easier to yank your tail isn't it?" Dylan asked. He didn't have a tail so he didn't really know. "It would only bleed a little bit. Surely?" It was only a little blood blister. It couldn't pour with blood, could it?
So everyone did already know Gold. That was good. He didn't have to do much to introduce them then. He picked up another chocolate frog. He really did want creamy guts to come out of it when he bit it. But it didn't happen. He bit the frog's head off. Mmmm.
"Ah the football lesson of Muggle Studies," Dylan chuckled, "I remember that." He had spent the lesson sitting out. And then broke his ankle. All fun.
Arya watched curiously as Lawson scooted behind her, wonder what the professor was up to. She relaxed when the professor her fingers through her hair, it was one thing that always soothed the girl. "Thank you. Nope, I don't mind."
There was no point in even responding for the professor had already began to work on her hair. Her eyes half-closed, she listened to the story while enjoying the feeling on Lawson doing her hair. It reminded Arya of when her mom would do her hair at night, minus the singing. When the professor finished she opened her eyes and took the mirror, looking at her hair in awe. She couldn't believe what a wonderfull job Lawson had done, it was like the woman had been doing hair for years. Reaching up with her free hand she gently touched her, grining at her reflection."Thanks professor! I love it!"she said, just a smidge above a whisper. Turning she gave the woman a big hug, again careful not to ruin her beautiful hair. "Ya know...you'd make a good mommy..."She smiled up at the professor.
"Aww Ayra," she said, hugging the girl back tightly. "Thank you so much for saying that." She was deeply touched by the sentiment.

When she heard Alessia begin her story, she brought her index finger to her mouth in a "shhh" gesture to the kids around her. This was going to be great. And braiding was quiet work. Yes it was!
"Hey Bella, hey i like that name," she smiled and nodded.
Oooh FOOD!
"Yes indeedy. Thanks!" she said, taking the pumpkin pasty from the girl. She unwrapped it and started to NOM it.
"OMG wanna do manicures? Its kinda girly, i know, but i have a weird thing for nail varnish." She unzipped a small case she has with her, and spun it round so that Bella could see the contents. Every colour was there, metalics, sparkles, neons, pastels. EVERYTHING. "Fave nail colour?" she asked.
"Thanks i like you name too" She smiled, and picked up another snack from her small pile. She bite into it, Yummm! "Your welcome"
Bell finished the rest of her snack and looked down at all the nail polish the girl had, it was hundreds!! She smiled lightly and looked at her nails. They had had better days, she had never attacked them with nail polish before. She held them up for the girl, "Um, ive never worn nail polish before" She said nervously.
She turned her head slightly to the side, she story had began. She listened, it was very good. She concluded.
"Kiri, Raiden, this is Gold. My girlfriend," he smiled, introducing them. Obviously she knew who they were. But it was just a double check. "I love you too Goldilocks." He patted the ground right next to his sleeping bag. "Room for one Goldilocks right here." Unless she wanted to snuggle in his. There was plenty of room.
Girlfriend? Oh yeah, she was that. But for some reason, Gold sort of fully realized that, only now. She did, after all, hardly ever use this word to describe her relationship with Dylan. Ugghh. Confusing thoughts, confusing thoughts.
"Thanks," she said, giving him a happy, little smile, as she rolled out her sleeping bag, and cheerfully sat down on top of it. Right next to him. Because she wanted to; and because it made her feel all warm and fuzzy, on the inside.

Oh my!
Prefect Kururugi still had his kneazle ears and stuff and -- and why did she always think of him as Prefect Kururugi, and not Raiden? Well, not always; but mostly. Which was, of course, still odd.
"You didn't get to catch that mouse, then?" she asked, shaking her head at the thought of that disastrous potions lesson. Professor Kazimeriz was evil. In a totally cool way, of course.

"Hey." Kiri's greeting sounded quite cheerful, and that lifted Gold's own spirits. She could not exactly say that the Slytherin Captain was in a really good mood, but she did think that the Cappytain had that warmish something that always made her feel good.
"I remember," she laughed, when Kiri mentioned Muggle Studies. "I played football in high heels." And events that contained high heels were pretty much always memorable! "Smart? But that's you. You're totally awesome at calculations."

Oooh, the story was starting! Gold shifted a little bit closer to Dylan, and hugged her knees. It was wonderful, so very wonderful, to be out here, at this time of the night. With Dylan, too.
Friends, warm chocolate, a comfy sleeping bag, and a good story - what else could one possibly need?

"Three sisters? Wow! I don't even have one."
Ivory was astonished, how cool it must be to have three sisters instead of three brothers. How cool would it have been to play house and with dolls and whatnot instead of with balls and cars and 'guy stuff.' Not that she hadn't bullied them into playing house a few times...she had...it just probably would've been so much better if they had really wanted to .
In her mind she pouted, she'd always wanted a sister.
Upon seeing the Professor' Lawson's pretty please look, Ivory smiled and nodded her head excitedly. She loved to have people do stuff to her hair, because sadly she lacked the ability to work with her own, even with a mirror it was impossible.
Turning around quietly, she sat docilely and let the Professor have her way with her hair while she listened to the bedtime story.

He pulled her sleeping bag close to his, and wrapped his arms around her. Snuggly. They could snuggle while they listened to Lupa's story. He moved down onto his sleeping bag. He didn't really want to sit on his pillow, he had to lie on that later.
He rested his head on Gold's shoulder, "I love you Goldilocks." He smiled, and looked up into her eyes. He couldn't think about being with anyone else.
