No awkwardness. Yay! Evelyn felt truly happy as she got comfortable on the floor. She recognised almost all the students and teachers sitting near her, and the familiarity of everything was so overwhelming in Evelyn's mind as she realised Hogwarts was beginning to feel like home.

Evelyn mimicked Wesley's expression, not wanting to smile while her friend was looking so serious. She nodded at each part of the story as Wesley briefly filled her in. "I was expecting something a little more...light-hearted. I hope the story has a happy ending."

Now the story seemed really sad. And even a little creepy. It didn't seem the sort of story she had expected the teachers to tell, especially when first years could be listening.

"So, what do you think the curse is?" she whispered to Wesley, but without taking her eyes off Professor Lupa "Maybe Lettie turns into a werewolf. Poor girl. I think I have second-third-half-cousin-person who got bitten -"

It was then that Evelyn turned to look at Wesley, and saw her trying to bury her head in her pillow. Evelyn decided that Wesley wasn't just one of the nicest people at Hogwarts, but also one of the most interesting.

Evelyn could see Wesley was really into the story, and Evelyn decided to listening carefully to the story as well. Maybe she could learn something from it about being a better person. She liked stories with a good moral.

Hearing Lupa speak in what sounded like a finishing tone, Jake mumbled something vaguely about memory loss, and turn onto his side, face kind of away from Lupa and towards He!Lawson.

And fell deeper into sleep.

Finally.

Peace.

HA! Lawsguini got into trouble by Lupa. *snicker*

Glancing back to Lawson with a sly smirk on her face, she was juuuuust about to say something else when she heard her name being called, again. But this time, not by Lawson. Sighing and turning back to look at her Head of House, she smiled innocently and apologetically before scooting a little around to become more comfortable.

The moral of the story? Heck, she hadn't been able to HEAR the story with all these interruptions. But she did hear something about the man making Lettie fight for her life, only for greed. Evelyn was right. The man was evil! But that still didn't help her figure out the moral. Dang...

"The moral is...don't go for the charming guys?" she said with a small laugh, wrapping her arms under her legs to keep them warm. Because the charming guys are allllll evil deep down!

Eh? That was all, then? "That appearance can be deceptive?" Gold offered, with a thoughtful frown. "Or to look before you leap? Or, you know, it could just be a really twisted way to say that it's better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all, ma'am."

"Mostly though, I would say it teaches caution. That people and things aren't always what they seem, so one ought to be careful." Not let love blind one and stuff, though she didn't say that out loud. "...and that true happiness comes from within."

Marie had been laying there almost asleep when the story ended. 'What, that's all there is, we don't even find out what the curse was? Well that was a stupid story,' she thought.

She looked around and realized she was there by herself now. Evelyn was sitting with Josh and Destiny was with.... Lawson!? Nah, that can't be. She rubbed her eyes and looked again... Yep, there she was, right next to Lawson himself. 'Whoa, what has he done to her?' Marie couldn't believe that Destiny would be sitting with him on her own free will. He had to have done something to her to make her sit there.

Oh, Professor Lupa wanted to know what the moral of the story was.

"Um was there really a moral to that story?" she asked.

She thought about what had happened. Girl gets cursed, she passes is on to someone, parents send her away, she meets a man, he has her drink a potion that makes her forget what happens, she finds out what he's doing, she leaves him and lives happily ever after, the end.

"Oh I got it now professor," Marie shouted. "The moral is you don't need a man to be happy."

Okay so maybe that wasn't it but that was all she got out of the pointless story.

Looking at Evelyn, Marcus let out a little snicker. "I'm not the one with the red face honey. And besides if I had let one go believe me you would have heard it."

Uh huh...just ask Destiny, she'd know. Not that he had actually farted in front of the girl but he done a really impressive belch and it had been loud.

"I know what you girls are like. Always letting of those silent but violent ones." Marcus glanced at Joshua who had no idea what was going on, judging from that vacant look on his face and then he looked back at Evelyn. "You guys must be real close huh? To be able to do that in front of him. Takes a lot of guts. Going by the smell of that, I would say you must have busted yours."

He shouldn't eat anymore junk food, it was making him a little crazy.

Marcus picked up the pillow again and thwacked the boy on the head once again. "I will keep hitting you until you take that thumb out of your mouth." Or perhaps he could hex those thumbs, make them taste like chilli or something.

Turning towards Arya and noticing the look on her face, Marcus was immediately contrite. "Oh Arya, I do. It's really lovely and I can see the effort you put into it." he leaned over and ruffled her hair, "Sorry I thought Mrs Lawson had done it herself and I was just gonna tease her about it." Because that's what married couples do...apparently.

And cue pout. No chocolate? That wasn't fair, Alessia Lupa certainly knew how to get to him.

"I'll be good" he whispered but he just couldn't help himself because he was in a rather silly mood.

"But it wasn't me who farted. It was Evelyn" he yelled out and quickly hid behind his wife because she would save him and because the kids were scared of her.

Must be those hormones.

Gah! Her and her stupid pale skin...making it easy to turn red...

Clearing her throat, she willed her face to go back to it's normal pale color before turning back to Lawson, frowning slightly. Silent...but violent? Was he serious? How much candy did he eat? Or in this case...chocolate. She hadn't forgotten the way he stared at that chocolate cake last term in Ancient Runes class. Chocoholic.

Busted what? Although, she couldn't help but laugh, amazed at how much the Professor acted like a little kid himself when all the others tried to prevent this in the students. This was seriously something her little brother would pull on her at their 'family gatherings' or 'dinner parties'. She would always get him back though, but, if she did any of those tricks against any of the Professors here at school, including Lawson, she would end up in deep, deep trouble. For now, she would just give him the silent treatment. HA! But seriously though, what did he do to make that smell? Dungbomb? New invention? Or did HE actually...ew...

Rolling her eyes at his words, she started to turn back forward to ignore Lawsguini when his movement caught her eye. Was he...hiding? Behind his wife? His wife...who looked strangely different for some reason. What was different about her though? It was, something. 'Well duh, it's something smart one. Otherwise you wouldn't be thinking it!'

But...his wife. DING! Now THAT was an idea. There was nothing like the love of two newlyweds, which also meant Lawson was probably very protective of her. Evelyn wasn't really one to use physical force when taking down an opponent unless she REALLY had to, (yea surprise surprise), but she was good at getting into their minds and twisting them. Turning her gaze to Lawsguini, she stared innocently for a moment as if actually about to smile a sincere smile. But instead, it turned into a mischievous and slightly evil smirk as her gaze slowly went to Professor Morgan and settled there for only a few seconds before moving quickly back to Lawson.

"Whatever you say, Professor." she said quietly, unblinking and sitting quite still, before the next second when she was completely turned back to facing forward and arms bound tightly under her legs to keep the warm again. Taking a deep breathe, she finally let that small smile appear on her face. Yes, let him think whatever of her actions. Her only goal was to... well make him really paranoid. And only THEN would she strike. Mwaha!

Lawson...was going down. Nobody embarrassed her like that in front of, how many people were here? Now she had to talk to Destiny. And maybe Josh too perhaps, since he was all for their 'gift giving' the other day.

Making an odd mumbling sound as Marcus kept thwacking him, the boy kept his other arm over his head and debated whether or not to move out of the way.

Eh. He'd wait for now; with any luck, Lupa or the other Lawson would tell the man off. Teehee.

"QUIT IT!" the boy shouted, smiling a tiiiiiny bit to himself, but so nobody could really see it, and then pouting. Then, in went the thumb, and back to sleep Jake tried to go.

Mwahahahaha.

"I don't think so. Everyone is alway picking on him, and I hate it. I know you didn't get off on the right foot, but Jakes a good guy." Kay said smiling at Rex. "not to say the best seeker." Kay giggled. "He just needs people that care about him." Kay said watching Jake try to sleep.

Kay was watching Professor Lawson. When he said that Evelyn had Farted she started to laugh. "Oh My God That Is So Funny!!!" KAy laughed so hard that she thought she would need the loo. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That was so funny Professor." Kay turned to look at Evelyn and made a face at her. "You Stink!!" Kay was laughing so hard that tear were coming out of her eyes. "Sorry Professor Lupa. I can not help it."

Kay watched Jake and tried to stop her laughing. She wished Jake was awake to enjoy the fun. She knew he was sad, but didn't know how to help.

Ughhhh.

Destiny might have been just a tad bit too intrigued Professor MorganLawson's hair to notice anything going on around her, including the smell coming from Evelyn. But when she finally did smell, it..it was just gross. She kinda figured it was Josh who made the smell, since he is a boy an all. And boys are just gross, like Lawson with that atrocious sound..

Buuuut, Destiny would rather have Lawson make that sound again then hear the sound coming out of Kay's mouth. Good thing she still ha one of those pocket lint filled pastie things in her pocket.

Oh yes.

Hiding just a little behind Professor Lawson, so no one could really see her, Destiny reached in her pocket and took out the now very squashed pumpkin pastie.

Smirking to herself, she closed one eye, aimed for Kay's face, and threw the the pumpkin pastie.

Only Destiny can tell Evelyn she stinks.

The moral of the story was...ummm...tyring to concetrate and standing still for that which was one of the rare moments in his life, he thought over to figure out a moral for the story which abruptly ended. The girl was cursed, all right and probably the moral was not specifically based on the curse since, what it was exactly had not been revealed. Maybe then, this could be considered as being different than others like having an injury, low or high IQ, extraordinary talent or the quailities of a super nerd.

All those people who were somehow different than others always took much attention and they mostly encountered unpleasant incidents resulting from people's reactions to that person's differences. So, ''Ummm Professor Lupa. Maybe the story tells us that problematic people should be left alone and accept their own statuses then they can be happy. It took my attention that whenever Letty herself or her family attempted to take a new step to provide her happiness, it did not turn out to be a good choice after all.''.

Well...he did not know if that made sense but *sniff sniff* it was really hard to think and figure out a moral from that kind of an abrupt story when there was a smell like that lingering in the air. Slowly getting more and more annoyed by that he stared at from Male Lawson to Evelyn, then vice versa when the man loudly repeated his announcement that the Slytherin girl had farted. No way...Josh would say, but but but why was she blushing then? When was the last time he saw Evelyn blush? Oooo plus despite everything she seemed to agree with Lawsonator. the Gryffindor boy began moving uncomfortably. Did really girls do the kind of silent and violent ones as the man remarked? ''Errr...'' O.O ''...Rose, have you seriously done...umm you know?''

And of course he did not miss that annoying laughter of Huffie Puffie girl's however, just for now, he was not going to bother with her for he did not want further trouble with many other professors.

Marie was really trying not to fall asleep yet when all of a sudden there was a disgusting smell invading her nose.

'NO WAY' she thought when she heard Lawson yell that it was Evelyn that farted. Nothing that disgusting could come out of anyone unless of course it was Kay.

Not only was there a disgusting smell invading her nose, now there was an annoying noise invading her ears. She looked over to see that puffy Kay laughing like some idiot. Really, did she think she was funny or something because Marie just found her very annoying.

Looking up she noticed Jake being hit with a pillow by...... LAWSON?! Really, a professor hitting a student. Why could he pick on Jake but no one else could? That didn't seem fair.

Then she seen it, something was flying through the air heading straight for Kay. What on earth was that? It looked like something really disgusting. That's when it hit her, an idea that is, not the disgusting thing flying through the air.

She picked up a pillow that was laying next to her and whipped it at Kay. If Lawson could hit Jake with a pillow then surely she could hit Kay and not get in trouble.... Right? "Seriousely Kay, shut it, no one cares what you think is funny," she shouted as she watchced the pillow heading straight for Kays head. Even if she tried there would be no way she could dodge both things that were flying towards her from opposite directions. Kay was going to get hit, it was just a matter of which item was going to hit her. Marie sat there and watched to see what would hit her first. Now this was going to be funny.

"That you can't trust a person for who they really are, and are responsible for your own happiness?" My, that sounded very... Slytherin. "Or that there is no such thing as a real happily ever after."

Oo Kay was juuuust about to cross the line with her. It was bad enough that Lawson was already irritating her and making everyone believe she farted. Sooo immature. Psssh.

Turning to glare at her, she opened her mouth to say something when some random thing flew across the room towards Kay. What was that? And who threw it? Well, whoever it was had really good aim and she would've applauded them, friend or foe. Actually... turning her head to look all her around her to see if she could spot the culprit, she could see no one that would actually do it, but she did spot Destiny behind Lawson.

Hmmm....

And then...she heard the question. He did NOT just ask her that! Turning her gaze to Josh, a horrified expression on her face, she rolled her eyes and scooted completely off his lap before a scowl replaced her horrified expression.

"Yes Josh, yes." she said sarcastically, crossing her arms and glaring at Lawsguini again. Oh he was definitely in for the prank of his life! But first, she just had to get it going... Glancing mischievously at the other Lawson again, she turned her attention back to Josh. "And that was sarcasm. I bet he set off a dungbomb or something."

Whaaa? And a flying pillow through the air! What was this turning into? Flying random things, pillows, pranks...

Oh...

Well that totally described a slumber party alright. Now it was just a matter of time until all broke loose. She needed to find someplace to hide. And plot. And...possibly get Destiny and Josh to hide and plot with her.

But she had to give a thumbs up to Marie first. Really, no one cared what Kay thought was funny! Unless, it was her pet Rex, but no one cared what he thought was funny either. Well, at least they didn't of course.

Arya smiled as the story came to a end, even though it had a bit to much romance for her liking(any romance was to much for her) she still enjoyed it, especially the twist about him using her to fight and win money. She thought about the question, trying to find a reasonable moral."Never get married." she stated in a matter-of-fact tone. And she never planed to, in her eyes boys were repulsive.

Arya giggled at the groundskeeper's comment, there was no way she could do his hair, unless he grew it out."You have a daughter? What's her name?"She didn't think any of the Hogwarts staff had children, or a life outside of the castle for that matter. Looking back to Lady Lawson's finished hair she didn't see how she could show him on her head. "We finished her hair...but I'm sure I could teach you on....her head."Bright eyed she pointed to the professor who's name she didn't know, the one finishing the story.

Arya's frown turned upside down when Lawson said he liked what she and Ivory had done to Lady Lawson's hair. It turned to a grin as he ruffled her hair. She fully understood the teasing as she had teased her friends and family many a times."Then I guess forgive you." She looked at his pajamas, wondering what made him decide to even buy them. "Um, nice jammies."

She laughed. "Not exactly..."

"That's a lot of morals right there. Yes... a lot of those are right."

That was a moral Alessia needed to learn... "Not exactly..."

"No!" She said angrily. "No No No! That is NOT the moral. That is almost the OPPOSITE OF IT!!!" She glared at the boy. She still had detention with this one and would really lay into him. Meany!

She tapped her throat with the sonorus charm. "THE NEXT PERSON TO RAISE THEIR VOICE IS GETTING 50 POINTS TAKEN FROM THEIR HOUSE AND DETENTION..." She glared at all of them, and gave Marcus a look that said Raise your voice and I WILL put you in detention... Then she tapped her throat again.

"... somewhat..." She said.

"Erm... no..." She turned to the students.

"It's actually rather simple... just because you are different, doesn't make you bad and really, there is no such thing as 'normal', now is there." She said.

Jake jumped and stared at the professor.

And he sniffed.

She... shouted at him.

Lip wibble.

Whimper.

Getting irrationally upset, Jake jumped to his feet and grabbed his bunny and pillow. The boy tried not to show how upset (and slightly mad) he was, but he couldn't help it. Yeah, he was overreacting, but he really liked Lupa and SHE SHOUTED AT HIM.

Oh, and he made sure to whack Male!Lawson round the head with a pillow as he went.

"I wwwant home," he mumbled to himself, going back to the sleeping back area and SLAMMING the pillow to the floor.

Yes. Jake was having a teeny tantrum.

He disliked being told off.

Looks like he was definitely not going to get any chocolate.

Marcus quickly raised his hand and looked at Professor Lupa, he wanted to say something but thought it better to do it the right way this time. He didn't want Less yelling at him and well...because...he wanted chocolate.

Becca listened quietly to her pupil's morals, and Professor Lupa's approvals and vetos. And she couldn't help but smirk when Professor Lawson got 'The Look'. Looks like even the teachers could get into trouble for playing around. Turning her thoughts back to Professor Lupa, Becca listened as she explained the moral. Becca liked that, it was true. There definetly wasn't a 'normal'.

"Kay, picking on people is not right even about Evelyn" Rex told her. " I think it is funny that Marie, Evelyn, Josh and destiny are only getting into trouble" Rex whispered to Kay, then laughed lowly. " Let's stay quist and listen to the story or get out of here and Jake can come with us if he likes" Rex explained to Kay. " i got the best thing for Jake, he could be the fourth menber of our " New Magical Five, what do you think?" Rex asked Kay.

"Do not worry Jake, the teachers are not mad at you for screaming" Rex told Him. " Kay, tells me you are a great seeker, how did you learn to play Quidditch?" Rex asked Jake. " Jake, maybe if you would act more of yoor age than sucking thumgbs and things, everyone will take you seriously" Rex explained to him.

Lina smiled. "Oh good! 'Cause I'm nowhere near normal!" She winked to Raiden, scratched a kitty ear, then sat back, thinking things over, and debating how she was going to keep herself from going to sleep.

For a split moment, Josh froze when he saw the look on the Slytherin girl's face. Eeeek! Now this meant danger for him so he regarded himself lucky that the only reaction was her scooting off his lap, except the way she spoke to him, of course.

''Okay.'' he said with a scared expression. Because she was scary when angry ''I just asked. Don't get mad at me''. And this was because she was the only Slytherin or perhaps the only human being in the whole school that he would not argue with. ''Of course you have not farted. Even the word...umm...does not fit you'' Was that a nice thing to say? *sigh* Whatever. ''We can find out if he wanders arounf with a bunch of dungbombs then. Or maybe it was him who farted''

It looked like someone else was angry at him too. Not a new person though, Professor Lupa was already mad at him since the incident happened in the Quidditch Pitch. So, he hesitated to reply to this with what he has in mind but...maybe she would not get mad at him if he mentioned it kindly. Yes, he stood up ''But, professor if i managed to find the opposite then it means i have also found the actual one for there cannot be any one sided opposition. Don't you think so?''

Whoa, Lupa was mad. Marie had never heard her yell that loud before. She was about to say something else to Kay but decided she better wait until later. There was NO WAY she was going to lose 50 points just because of Kay.... or Lawson. 'HPMP! She should be mad at Lawson and Kay for all of this, they are the ones that started it,' she thought to herself as she looked at the others that were making noises too.
