What was it, though? And who was dying? Raiden pressed his hand against his shoulder, wincing; when she'd jumped up, he'd fallen on it, and damnit that had HURT. He didn't know what was wrong with it, or what state he was in under these bandages, but he was really seriously considering peeling them up and having a peek.
Eyes closed once again, he didn't even notice the look Barry was giving him, or the fact that Torin and some girl were staring in their direction. The aching was ten times worse than having an attack; at least when those had happened, he'd woken up relatively pain-free.
"You weren't... here." At least, not completely. Stifling a yawn, his sleepy green eyes opened and looked about. Jake... Jake was over there. Would he know what had happened to him? His face... the cracking he'd felt under his knuckles when he'd connected was seared into his memory. He'd never punched anyone before, had he? Not that he could recall... Hopefully the kid was okay. A fist couldn't do that much damage, could it?
"I need to sleep," the boy mumbled to himself. "I can't... think."
Or stand, apparently. He was lucky to be sitting up right now. Their actions had placed them slightly closer to Tibi, who looked like he was sleeping too... Good. The healer had probably fixed him up, surely he'd be okay now.
"Cela... you're... stay?" Hmmm. If he fell asleep, she'd probably leave; the idea terrified him. People were still coming in, injured and bleeding. There was a fight going on, somewhere; he could only assume that it was with the bartender, but his cobwebbed mind couldn't piece together much past that. "You won't leave...?" |

She had settled her score. Dylan was dragged into the...where was this? He looked around. It wasn't somewhere he recognised. "Ow ow ow," he winced. His arm was probably falling off by now. He had no idea why he was here. He wanted to see if Remi was awake. He didn't want to be here. And he wasn't sick. He wasn't hurt. There was nothing wrong with him.
Truebridge was just being a loser.

She pressed one hand against her cheek in confusion. Had Raiden broken that by... randomly kissing her? Or... was something wrong with...
"He can't die." Celandine whispered. "He isn't allowed."
She felt a twinge, a gossamer thin web of compulsion. Weak enough that she could ignore it, but enough that it was still there... just.
Celandine bit her lip and rubbed at her wrist.
"I don't know." She whispered, not wanting to do any acknowledgement of anything difficult. "I'm so tired..."
She lowered her eyes.

Barry didn`t know what to do. He wasn`t used to this. It was Cela. She was never like this. She seemed confused and weird. A bad weird. Barry was not smiling.
Who can`t die? Why can`t he die? These questions bothered Barry. But they couldn`t do anything while they were all injured and tired like this. Barrys lids were heavy but he had to stay awake. What if something happened?
"Cela you need to rest. Whatever it is you do anything right now. Please sit and sleep. I don`t want you to hurt yourself" Barry asked. Yeah there it was just like old times. Barry's fear of safety for Cela. "If you want to talk I`m here to listen." He gestured at two empty chairs. What else could he do?
Then he saw Raiden drifting off to sleep. "Rest. She's safe" he said as best as he could. He wasn't sure himself, Cela wasn`t normal. He wished that Raiden got better. Then he'd be able to think straight

| Hiss!Roar!Growl!Caw! | Hermione's Double | The Little Three | Alecate OOC to everyone: Gabriella is also needed on the fifth floor, so I'm going to declone and head there. If your character is still in need of extra healing, feel free to roleplay the healing being done on him/her. Quote:

SERIOUSLY?! "AARRGHH!" he yelled through gritted teeth, moving so he was laying across some chairs. Lupa's slight healing had helped get rid of the pain at first.
And now... just ouch. Gabriella quickly moved about the area, healing the students just as quickly as she could get to them. She realized that there were several injured students she hadn't gotten to yet, but she would do the best she could in getting to them soon.
Reaching Jake, she knelt down beside the Hufflepuff boy, her medical bag in hand. The first thing she noticed was his thumbs---or, lack of thumbs, actually. She blinked a few times then quickly cleaned the area, wrapping it with bandages afterward. Both his hand and elbow were fractured. The hand only needed a quick Episkey, but the elbow would be a little more difficult to heal. She did the best she could with it, but in the end, she had wrapped it in a sling to heal a little more on its own.
Oh, and cheekbone, too---Merlin! Luckily, though, that required a quick Episkey, too. Finally, she was left to clean, de-glass, and spread ointment on a series of cuts on the Jake's face. He still had what looked to be a concussion, though. She mixed a blood replenishing potion with a strengthening potion and tilted it towards Jake's mouth. Quote:
Originally Posted by Sneakeh Cat OOC: Reese has a really bad back pain and she's just all over sore from falling down after being stunned
Reese had been mumbling under her breath the whole trip down from the fifth floor to the second floor, BUT there was one time that she didn't mumble and it had been somewhere on the third floor. Could YOU blame her, though? She was STILL on the bloody wooden board that she so badly wanted off of. Even though her back was killing her, that was NO reason to be forced onto this thing. NO reason WHAT SO EVER. "I want off this bloody board," she hissed under her breath when Torin placed her on the ground. Like, NOW she thought. She would rather be sitting on the stone ground than being bounded to the board, though, being bounded to the thing sure beat being picked up by Chris. When he picked her up, THAT HURT! If anybody tried to pick her up again, she was going to cry, literally.
And then she heard Jake's yell, and nearly freak out. She tried getting out of her body bind, but all that came out of that was more pain...and a few tears from the pain. She did not like being hurt! "Be careful with him!" The Prefect ordered. Once she was through with Jake, Gabriella moved to the next student in line---which was Reese Upstead supporting by a long board. Hmm...probably a back injury or something of that sort. "Miss Upstead," she quickly greeted. "Don't worry, dear, I'll have you feeling in no time." Hopefully. That really depended on her injuries.
A quick examination revealed that the prefect had no broken bones or serious injuries, which was definitely a plus for both Reese and Gabriella. "I'm going to get you a strengthening potion then get you off this board. There's an area of the floor I've placed a cushioning charm on," she explained. As she did this, she gently levitated Reese a few inches off the board and repositioned her on the floor. When that was done, she help a phial of potion the girl's mouth. Quote:

She sat cross-legged next to the girl and took one of her limp hands, holding it tightly. Evelyn didn't even know the girls name, but she wasn't going to abandon her now. OOC: I think she was throwing up in the bathroom. She said something about a panic attack before going into a coma. It felt odd to Gabriella to quickly move from person to person to person, healing at such quick speeds. She was used to taking her time and giving each patient more one-on-one attention. She knew this situation didn't allow that, though. With a little mod in a Hufflepuff girl's direction, she knelt to the ground and examined her friend. "Your friend will be just fine, dear. A little strengthening potion mixed with a calming draught will do the trick," she said. She gently lifted the girl's head and slowly poured the potion inside. "This will wake her in no time, and you'll see---your friend will be back and better than ever." She always tried to be optimistic, even in times of battle. Quote:

Candy never felt anyone levitate her, never felt anyone take her to the seating area. She floated somewhere between pain and more pain and the potion that she had been given so quickly seemed to be the one reason she still had some life in her.
Not that she was weak…..... This was just too much for her. She was only eleven. A hyper person who never really had seen anything bad in her life. And that fight had been too much. OOC: She collapsed from exhaustion and weakness. Her head hit the floor and was bleeding pretty badly. Gabriella paused for a moment and took in a deep breath. There were so many children with so many injuries... It saddened her to think about the poor students, so ill and so injured. She reached yet another child who'd apparently fainted from who-knew-what. It made Gabriella wonder exactly who was in the castle and what in Merlin's name they'd done.
She cleaned the little girl's bloodied skin then wrapped her in a few bandages. She did the same on her as she did on the child before---she lifted her head and gently poured a strengthening solution in her mouth. She levitated the girl a little off the ground and moved her, too, to the cushioned area of the floor. Quote:

Of course with all the injuries in the castle, that statement didn't sound particularly odd to her, but Cadence was right---something wasn't normal. "What's wrong? Who isn't allowed to die, dear?" she asked, although that statement could apply to so many people right about now. (OOC: Continued below) Quote:

"Remí---who is...," her words were cut short, though. There was only one person she could think of who wouldn't deserve medical attention, and that was the one responsible for the battle.
Gold Laksh arrived shortly afterward, this time stating that Professor Truebridge was asking for her. It suddenly occurred to her that throughout this entire ordeal, she'd been with the students---healing them and tending to them. Surely there were adults who needed her, too. She had to get to them...and quickly, too! "I'm on my way, thank you, dear," she said, pushing herself to her feet.
She spared a quick glance towards Cela then rummaged through her bag for a particular potion. "Miss Ballard? I need you to hold on to this and try and give it to Miss Toussaint. Watch here, alright?" she requested. "Try and get her to take the potion. I have to go now..."
...and on that note, the healer turned and took off down the corridor.
OOC: For clarification, the potion Gabriella just gave Cadence is pretty much a Strengthening Solution. It's meant to just give the person a little more strength until they can be properly healed.

Cadence followed Torin's point to the girl that moments ago she thought was gong mad. She nodded, and said, "Oh, okay!" Then she gave Torin a smile and turned toward Cela. Taking a deep breath she carefully walked over to the older, prettier, and more experienced Ravenclaw Prefect who had been behaving oddly and babbling about nonsensical things for the past couple of minutes. Yeah... this was going to be easy.
Looking steadily into the girls eyes, she quietly said, "Hi Cela! I'm Cadence! Healer Ashford gave this to me and told me to have you take it. So, here... it'll probably make things... better!" she said cheerily, trying to find a reason for Cela to take. She wasn't exactly sure what the potion was supposed to do, but surely it would make whatever was wrong with her go away or better or something?

She'd stay, moving around wouldn't help anything and now that she was more aware of things, she was growing increasingly aware of a dull pain in her stomach and a scratching in her throat. Side effects from talking under the Imperius earlier, the curses that the bad man had put on her were doing more damage than just causing pain when they were activated. Quote:

Just... shook her head, unwilling to say anything more. Quote:

Then he'd be able to think straight Cela nodded, peering anxiously at Barry. She was going to stay right here on the ground next to Raiden rather than move to those chairs though. She offered a tentative and trusting smile. Quote:

Who isn't allowed to die, dear?" she asked, although that statement could apply to so many people right about now. (OOC: Continued below)
She started to say something else to Cela, but just then a silvery hummingbird shot into the area---a patronus from someone the healer imagined to be near the battle scene.
Cela flinched at the question about WHO was going to die. People needed to stop asking! Stop making her think about it! He wasn't going to! He wouldn't! He couldn't! She needed him!
She didn't hear the healer ask the Hufflepuff girl to give her a potion, she was too busy trying not to think. Trying not to wander.
She didn't hear Cadence and Torin whispering to one another either. Quote:

Yeah... this was going to be easy.
Cela looked up and nodded once slowly.
"Hi Cadence." Potion? Celandine trusted potions. Well... maybe more than she should have considering one experience that she'd had. But Kazimeriz had saved her then. He'd do it again if anything went wrong, right? He wouldn't... he wasn't going to... he'd be... She bit her lip and took the phial, unstoppered it and cautiously drank it.
...
Okay... she felt a little more alert, energised...
She lowered the potion from her lips, eyed the empty bottle curiously and then dropped it, spasming once before she passed out, two wands that were not her own still in her back pocket. (Jake Upstead's and Professor Truebridge's)

(Jake Upstead's and Professor Truebridge's) Cadence smiled thankfully at Cela when the girl took the potion. She was glad it wasn't going to take anymore energy than that. And then her heart beat quickened as she heard a familiar voice from behind her. All smiles, she turned around to see Nate finally awake. "NATE!" she squealed excitedly, but before she could go over to him, she heard the phial smash on the ground and the sound of something human-sounding hit the ground. Turning around, a look of utter horror appeared on her face. She pulled out her wand, though she had no idea what to do. "Torin!! Torin!!!!!!!! Help!!!! What do we do?" she started screaming in a panic.
Oh my Merlin. Had she just accidentally poisoned a Prefect?
That had detention written all over it.

Reese would have greeted the Healer if she felt like it, but she really just didn't. Instead, the Prefect just stayed where she was on the board - she couldn't go anywhere even IF she wanted to - and waited to be healed, and to be taken off the board. She would have complained some more about nobody taking her off the bloody thing, but she knew the Healer would do it in a matter of time.
And she was right. The Healer levitated her off the board - FINALLY - and placed her on the cushioning charm, which felt wonderful! She took in a deep breath, ready for the potion nasty taste, and then she drank it. BLEH, it tasted horrible, but what medicine didn't? Once she was done drinking the potion, she moved her head away from the potion phial. "Thanks," she mumbled as she began to feel the potion strengthening her body. She was going to be up and walking in NO time, she just knew it. But now, she was just going to lay here and wait until she felt like she could travel down to the common room to take a nap.

| lol hey, unfair. we're sleepy tooooo. We'd worry more but... yeah XD ♥Dunkin | Pixie's Precious Pea | kpop goddess | sneaky sounder | forever slytherin♥ Unfortunately, Raiden was NOT asleep yet.
So when Cela suddenly went all spasmy and then passed out, the boy ignored the spinning of the world as he sat straight up.
"Cel. Cela!" Merlin what had she just taken. Tired, distressed, he glanced at the Hufflepuff. "What did you give her?"
She was breathing. Asleep? She was asleep? A quick look at the remains of the phial that she'd dropped confirmed that it was one of the nurse's, at least.
"Sleeping draught, I hope." He barely noticed that he himself was swaying back and forth where he sat. It had gotten quieter as the nurse had worked through the injuries. If he went back to sleep now... nobody would be screaming him awake again. Surely he wouldn't wake until he was really ready to, this time. This body was not made to be put through such things; he'd been 'lucky' to wake up just before. Its reaction to trauma was sleep, and boy did this count for that.
And Cela wasn't leaving now. She was alive, and breathing. He could pass out now too, right?
Good plan, good plan.
Wobbling, blinking slowly through the sleepiness, the prefect barely noticed himself slipping sideways on the floor, this time to his right shoulder. The fingers of his right hand held onto Cela's as he quickly drifted off. |

What the hell was he actually doing down here? He had to save Remi. That guy was going to die, if people kept him stunned and bleeding. Noone wanted murder on their hands. He struggled against Gold's vice like grip.
Maybe the nurse could help him. Not likely though.

Ouch.
That was not a good idea.
Sitting there, she watched the girl for a moment, eyes wide. She grabbed the wrist that that sleeping boy wasn't holding onto. The blood was still pumping in her veins. Cadence watched her breath for a moment, trying to decide if the girl was dying or just sleeping.
She just wanted to go over to Nate. She just wanted to lay down with him in that CloudBed and forget about all of this. She just wanted Nate to make everything better.

He ignored Cadence, as he was trying to figure out how to wake the girl up.
He pointed his wand at Cela, and squirted water at her. Maybe that would help. And if not, being wet wasn't the worst of her problems. |

Maybe the nurse could help him. Not likely though. Gold nodded at Healer Ashford - she must be exhausted, too, the Healer. She had, after all, been healing people like crazy, since... forever. "Thank you," she said, as she watched the healer straighten up, and head off to the fifth floor corridor.
Then she turned to face Dylan.
"I'm going back there," she said. Her tones were quiet, but there was a certain hint of fire in them - yes, she was going to break his head or something, if he tried to be a hindrance, now. "To the fifth floor corridor. You are NOT coming, Dylan. I will come back and, until then, you are STAYING here. I swear, if you come to the fifth floor, I am NEVER talking to you again, and we are O-V-E-R over."
Then she turned on her heel, and left the Headmaster's Seating Area. Yeah... back to the fifth floor. |

"Everyone doing well here?" Cadence looked up from where she sat kneeling on the floor next to Cela as the Headmaster walked in. "No, sir, not really. Healer Ashford gave me a potion for Cela, and then she took it and sort of had a spasm, and then passed out. Torin tried splashing her with water, but she didn't wake up, and we didn't know what to do!" she said with a lessened note of panic than she had previously addressed Torin with. The Headmaster was here. It'd be okay.

Alessia dropped Remi when she heard the unforgivable curse's name being referred to as one of the spells that her godfather was hit with. She looked down at the man... served him right... dropping him wasn't that big of a deal if he'd hurt the man who practically raised her. She re-levitated him and looked at Tate with a shrug.

And dreaming right now was bad.
He watched as the Headmaster walked past, but he was unable to tell who he was carrying. All he heard was the word professor.
He laid there, staring at the ceiling again, tears gathering at the corners of his eyes.
When he heard a thud, he turned his head to see the form of the man who had cursed him there on the floor. "G-get him a-away fr-fr-from me," Tibi whimpered. "He made me hurt people."

| Double Agent Stamps! Sidney watches Healer Ashford give a potion to one of the Hufflepuffs, and that Hufflepuff give it the Celadine. Then she spasmed and passed out. Sidney sits down on her knees next to Celadine and places her hand on the girl's chest. Her heart is beating strong and regular. That's a good sign. I wish the Healer was here. There's something strange going on with this Ravenclaw. Sidney hears Headmaster Tate's voice as he enters the room. Well I think I can safely say he's not the one Celadine is worried about dying. Sidney turns around to see Headmaster Tate bringing Professor Kazimeriz in. Tate then describes what has happened to the Potion Professor. Please don't let him be the one who's going to die. Sidney sits back down pulling her legs out from under her and folding them around. She watches Celadine closely to see if there is any change in her breathing and stuff. |

"Everyone doing well here?" Just as the Gabriella was turning to leave, a familiar sounded voice got her attention. She turned to see Headmaster Tate heading into the area with a wounded Kazimeriz. Apparently, she was no longer needed on the fifth floor, as it seemed like those formerly on the fifth floor had come here.
She nodded her head several times as she listened to Tate explain what had happened to Kazimeriz. "Oh...Merlin! I'll get right on that!" she promised. Quote:

Torin tried splashing her with water, but she didn't wake up, and we didn't know what to do!" she said with a lessened note of panic than she had previously addressed Torin with. The Headmaster was here. It'd be okay.
Right? She was about to answer the headmaster's second question when a Hufflepuff girl spoke up and mentioned Cela had taken the potion then immediately passed out. Sure enough, when Gabriella turned towards Cela, the Ravenclaw girl was lying unconscious on the floor where she once sat. "The potion I gave her was just a Strengthening Solution meant to assist her until she could be properly healed. I---I'm afraid something may be terribly wrong with Miss Toussaint," she half-mumbled, a look of concern spreading across her face. She knelt by the girl's side and examined her condition. "Miss Ballard, have you noticed any other peculiar behavior from her?"
