"Wow, looks like you will be ok" Rex told Kay. " I will stay with you if the heler let's me" Rex said to Kay.
" Thank you for letting me stay" Rex told healer Ashford. "Kay will get better if I am here with her" Rex explained to the healer. Rex held the sleeping Kay in his arms waiting for her to wake up.

"Pppprofessor!" Jake cried out, literally sobbing as he 'saw' Professor Lawson (more sensed her; he still couldn't see). "I'm sssorry. I d-d-didn't mmmean to!" he exclamed laying across a few seats, cheekbone throbbing, elbow sending sickening stabs of pain up his arm and the cuts on his face stinging.

"I wwwanna go hhhhome," the boy wailed, totally losing it. His head hurt so bad from the internal struggle. He just wanted to go home where it was safe. This place was DANGEROUS.

Celandine wobbled on unsteady legs over to join the injured and offer her help. And you know, maybe get a bit healed up herself. She blinked around, sighing in relief at sight of Professor Lawson. Cela WAS Imperiused after all, not like all the others though, nope. She'd been Imperiused by Professor Kazimeriz and right now she had to watch over the pregnant professor.

She glanced between Professor MorganLawson and Healer Ashford.

"I can help with stuff. I know some basic healing and triage spells. I just... please don't make me talk about... stuff anymore. It hurts." She dropped her voice to a whisper and dropped her eyes to the floor, Jake Upstead's wand clutched in her hand. She was still a little bent over, like it hurt her to stand up completely. There was dried blood over her face, though her nose wasn't sore anymore, not compared to the rest of her.

She saw Rex with Kay and smiled softly. It was really nice how he was looking after her.

She turned around and then she spotted Raiden, her eyes widening in horror. She dropped to her knees right at his side and peered up at Iliana. "Professor?"

Lowering Raiden as gently as she could onto the floor, Iliana knelt down beside him and checked his breathing. She still didn't like the state of him but now he was out of harm's way.

She cut across the room and bent down to comfort Jake. "That can't be helped now, honey," she said, looking him over thoroughly. He was pretty banged up but nothing as bad as what she had feared.

"You're going to be fine now, Jake," she said, running her hand over his forehead. "I promise."
When Cela came through the door, Iliana went to her and threw both arms around her tightly. "Oh Cela, you're okay," she said, hugging her close. "I've been beside myself." Iliana was more than a little choked up when just then...

Appearing just outside the door, was an all too familiar patronus. "Oh no," she cried, releasing her hold on Celandine.

She listened intently to the silvery dog's message and then turned back to the Ravenclaw prefect. "Celandine, I have to go. Please watch over the others until I get back. Help Healer Ashford; I KNOW you can do it. I'll be back soon."

And without another word, Iliana was out the door and up the stairs. She knew Kazi would kill her for putting herself at risk but Masterson needed help. And so help was on the way.

Celandine hugged back and then got a little off balance when the professor released her. She stared in wide eyed horror as Professor Lawson left, the Imperius curse causing her to feel the need to follow, but his instruction to remain at the Seating Area and help the injured, along with Professor Iliana's reaffirmation to do just that, keeping her on the spot. She grit her teeh and sunk to her knees, feeling like her mind and body were both being pulled in two seperate directions. Cela sobbed quietly and tried to fight it. She was no use to anyone like this but she wasn't going to scream again. She'd be brave and try her best to fight through it until the professor returned. She would, right?

Jake only whimpered as Lawson began to comfort him, feeling better already.

Of course, it was obviously too good to be true, because... she left.

"NOOOOOO!" the boy screamed, pushing himself up onto unsteady feet as he became irrational. "NOOOO! CCCCOME BAAAACK!" he screamed out, his face making a funny scratching noise. Though he was wandless, thumbless, practically blind, one-armed and down-right unsteady, the boy tried to bowl through the people present, dead set on getting back to Professor Lawson.

Not only did he like her comfort, but... she was pregnant and as much as Jake disliked babies... it was really REALLY dangerous up there.

If he could get past everyone that was.

Everything was so loud here. So very, very loud. Someone was crying and yelling, the words too warped to be made out. There was a familiar girl's voice, unplaceable at the moment but somehow... it hurt. Merlin did it ever hurt when she spoke. Raiden shifted ever so slightly, a quiet gasp making itself heard as he drew in a sharp breath. The kneazle ears were working hard to pick up every little sound, as if they had picked sides in the internal conflict.

Wake up. Wake up. She's here.

He didn't want to wake up yet. Not just yet. Whoever 'she' was, she could wait a bit more, right? Still... his comfortable darkness was becoming somewhat less comfortable.

..... aaaaand Cela threw herself forward and CLINGED to Jake's legs, his wand still in her arms.

CLINGITYCLINGCLINGCLING.

Still trying to digest what had just happened, the Hufflepuff was knocked aside as a too-tall Jake practically stampeded over her.

"JAAAAAAKE!" Wesley screamed, still a little confused, but knowing, with an absolute sureness, that she was not supposed to let him leave. Scrambling to her feet, she ran after him, tripping over somebody's legs, and falling, spread eagle, on top of the older boy and the blonde-haired girl that was holding onto him. Wrapping her arms around the boy's waist, right hand clenched tight over left rist, she attempted to pull him back to the chairs and wall.

"You're. Not. S'possed. To. Move," she ordered, mouth against the boy's bloodied robe.

As she slept, Kay was dreaming of People attacking in her. 'NO Stop please!' Her dreamself said. She tried to turn away but could feel someone was holding her. She felt the arms tight around her and she didn't know where she was. "Please don't hurt me." She whispered thinking her dream was real. "Help meRex! No Please don't." Kay tried to wake up but could get her eyes to open. She had to find Rex. What if something bad happened to him. In her dream there was a flash of green light and she screamed. "REX!!!"

This couldn't be happening! They... No! No! Jake was stronger!

Though it was a struggle, Jake managed to struggle out of his outer robes, and even his shoes (and one sock) making it easier for him to crawl away, before staggering up to his feet and stumbling away.

He couldn't see, he had no wand... But he had to get to the fifth floor.

And he no longer realised he was weeping.

It was chaos. Just...utter chaos. Jack's ears hurt from all the screaming. Everyone was screaming for Jake to stop, the Hufflepuff was screaming for her boyfriend...it needed to stop.

"Everyone calm down!" he grumbled, unsure of whether or not anyone heard him. All the screaming was definitely not good for Raiden, or Cela for that matter. "Just...." his voice trailed off.

Jake had just run off. That was what Jack was focused on. Jake, his future brother-in-law, was GONE off somewhere, badly injured and quite possibly still out of his mind.

"I'm going to get him," he announced. Everyone would be ok with Ashford there but...Jack was NOT going to let Jake run to his death. NO NO NO. Not happening.

He gripped his wand tight in his hand and sprinted on down the corridor and out of sight.

Holding on for dear life, wishing she was taller - stronger - just bigger, Wesley stopped, unfocused, at the sound of Jack's command.

And in those brief seconds the fourth year slipped away - sending Wesley to the floor with a thud. What was she - what was -

Jake. Jake was gone.

Pulling herself up, the Hufflepuff whipped her head around wildly, searching for the boy. He was gone.

'You can help me watch over Jake...once we get him to take this potion we need to move him to the Headmaster's seating area'

The fifth floor. That was the floor Cela had spoke of earlier. That was the floor Wesley needed to get to. She needed to get Jake and bring him back, because that was what Head Boy Jack had told her to do. That was what she had promised him she would do.

And Wesley, by Merlin, was not going to break that promise!

Casting a glance at Cela, and the boy - Raiden - and Kaytone and...Rex? Wesley bit her lip before mumbling, "S-sorry," and sprinting off.

Twitch.

So. Much. Screaming.

Raiden almost wished that... he had been stunned or something like that. At least then he couldn't wake up before he wanted to. But the din in this area was too much; all the darkness around him was crumbling. And, as everything started to get lighter, the dull throbbing pain in his body roared to life, stronger by the second.

Drawing a jagged breath, the prefect's eyes opened to an unfamiliar, blurry ceiling. Everything was too bright. Far too bright. The green eyes closed again, nose wrinkling in distaste. He attempted opening his eyes again, but they were being slow to adjust; his right hand shook for a moment before moving to block the source of the brightness.

He hurt. And this was not the dorm, nor the hospital. Where was he??

If she hadn't been surrounded by such complete and total chaos, Gabriella probably would have further questioned Lorcan's scar. As it was, though, the number of injured students seemed to be growing by the moment, and she'd have to let Lorcan's burn scars go for the time-being. She simply nodded just to let him know she understood...somewhat. "I believe it'll be safe to take the sling off just before final exams begin," she said. "Play it by ear, though. If you feel it needs to be on longer, leave it on."

At the sound of the Head Boy's voice, Gabriella turned to see Jack Fritzera escorting Jake Upstead into the area. She started towards the two of them, her wand already raised, when even more chaos seemed to break lose. She jumped back a but when Jake casted a spell to let some...Samuel...man know he needed to vacate the area. "Samuel? Who's Samuel?" she asked the nearest person. She'd been so tied up in this one little area that she'd missed most of the action throughout the castle.

Her attention was drawn away from the Upstead boy when he stumbled away. Rex Trigwell was thanking her, so she turned to him and nodded quickly. "You're welcome, Mister Trigwell."

...and then there was Celandine Toussaint. "Oh, Miss Toussaint, thank you. We can use all the help we can get," she gratefully said. She paused for a moment then added, "...five points to Ravenclaw." Not that the girl probably cared about house points at a moment like this, but the statement took the healer all of three seconds to say. She did pick up on the way the girl asked not to be questioned about her situation. She nodded then focused her attention on Raiden Kururugi. She hadn't seen him since she left him with friends down at the Entrance Hall. She was glad to see he'd made it here alright. "How is he?" Gabriella asked, not really being able to see him properly with the crowds of people.

" You are having a nightmare" Rex told Kay. " You are doing fine thanks to the healer" Rex said to Kay. " I am holding you" rex explained to Kay. "Wake-up, wkae up now" he told Kay.

" Than you again" Rex told the healer.

"Raiden?" Celandine tugged on his shirt a bit desperately. He was okay? Did he still hate her? She stifled a sob.

Celandine blinked. Points?

It had been a long time since she'd had a moment to spare to think about those. The thought actually kind of helped her focus, though she was still all twisty about Professor Lawson leaving like that. It was enough to stop her straining against the dual compulsions of the Imperius Curse that Kazimeriz had put on her.

"I don't know." She whispered, and tentatively caught Raiden's good hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"Raiden?"

That voice.

That. Voice.

Blinking, trying anxiously to get his eyes to adjust and his vision to clear, the fingers of his bandaged right hand held tight on the hand that had grabbed his. It took a second, and he tried to lift his left arm to block the light again, but... it... didn't want to move.

He stopped breathing for a second, his attention torn between the fact that Cela was here, and the fact that his arm was not responding to his attempts to move it. One of them had to be focused on, and in the end his arm won out.

"Why can't I move it?" he asked weakly, eyes still blinking furiously to clear his vision. She had blood on her face, he realised. And she looked... not Cela-like. As if something had broken. "Wh-what happened?"

In general. To both of them. He... he would yell later. Right now he was all hurty and his throat was dry and he was just going to allow himself to feel simultaneous relief over her being alive and panic over his arm being all... dead.

"I don't know." Cela whispered, her voice all hoarse. She looked at his bandaged up arm and bit her lip. "I... can't tell you anything." Like physically. It was impossible unless Kazimeriz made her do it through the pain again. She reasoned with herself, and with one of the curses upon her, that minding Professor Lawson meant doing what she said just as much if not more than making sure she was okay. Thinking about it that way made it a little easier to be here and not chase desperately after her.

Cela stiffened and tipped her head back, staring at the ceiling. Her eyes, still dull and distant, flickering back and forth as if she were watching something.

"She said she'd come back."

After a minute of strange half swaying, like she was listening to something that couldn't be heard, Cela shook herself and eyed the wand in her hand. Jake's wand. She severed her sleeve, duplicated it and then dowsed one raggy piece with water, which she used to dab at her face, gasping a little at how much blood came away. She must have looked kind of scary but it was really just from smacking her nose against the steps when she'd been dragged up them unconscious before.

"Raiden? Can you help me think straight?" She asked him in a small voice, feeling her mind doing all sorts of things that she'd rather it didn't, not all of it relating to the Imperius Curse.

The eyes that had been focused on Celandine very slowly, almost grudgingly moved to his immobile arm. There was... a sling... and at the top, his shoulder was all wrapped up in bandages. It took longer than it should have, for him to recognise that a fair chunk of his robes and shirt had gone missing, and the parts that were left clinging to his pale body were ragged and stained red, still damp.

What... had he done?

"It's... all still attached under there, right?" His arm. It wasn't just laying there for decoration or something. There was an awful lot of blood on his clothes, and he could feel it on his back as well. Surely it couldn't have all come from him.

Help her think straight? He wasn't even sure he could do that for himself right now. He didn't even know where he WAS right now.

"I c-can try..." Between the two of them, they might be able to cobble together some straight thoughts. "You... can help me too, maybe?"

Because Merlin... he was scared. His kneazle ears quivered on top of his head, as if to broadcast it to the world.

Lorcan nodded, realising that the issue of his scar had not been dropped, merely postponed. Well, I'll just have to not get injured again... That way she won't get the chance to ask. he thought. "Thanks Miss." He said quietly as he fastened up his shirt with his good hand.

He watched as she moved away to attend to the other students who seemed to be flooding towards them now. One of them, an older boy, looked very ill indeed. Lorcan used the noise and flurry of activity as a cover for testing out his magic. Gripping his wand firmly, he concentrated hard and made one of the battered magazines levitate for a moment. He sucked air in over his teeth as the magazine flopped back onto the table. It had hurt, burning in his shoulder, but he had managed to do it. He crept around the edge of the group and out of the seating area, back towards the melee. He had to find Lexi. He wouldn't be able to stand it if she got hurt...

Her eyes started to open when she heard Rex's voice. Has he alright? Had he been hurt? "Rex?" She said as her come open. Kay looked around the....hall? Why was she in the hall? Rex was hold her and then it all came back to her. "Is it over? Did they stop...God Rex, some of them were my friends, Quidditch team!" Kay said pulling herself into him and cried. "They were trying to hurt me. Hurt the others?" She start to pull away but stop when she got dizzy and her head started to hurt. Laying back down into his arms she looked at him. "Did you get hurt, are you ok?" She could stand it if she lost him like her parnets. Her eyes started to close, but she forced them open to see Rex's eyes. "Do you think the Healer would let us go?" She asked , but where would they go? There was fighting all over the castle. Where would be safe??

"We are safe right here" Rex told Kay. " I think the fighting is almost all over" Rex said to Kay. " I wiish I had an explanation for what happened but I do not and I am sorry" Rex explained to Kay. " I am fine, thanks honey and you just take it easy for right now" Rex kissed Kay on the cheek and smiled.

Kay sighed when Rex told her they were safe. "I trust you." She said watching the other students coming into the hall way. "I'm sorry. I know you don't like it when I fight. But it all happened so fast. People started throwing hexs at me, and then Miranda and Oliver and and....I didn't know what to do. I had to fight back, stop them" Kay said trying to explan what had happened. "I'm sorry really I'm sorry please don't be mad." Kay said starting to panic a little. He had told her that he would leave her if she were to fight again. She didn't want him mad at her. She had done the right thing. right?

Barry holding onto whatever was available for support slowly approached the headmaster seating area. He`d been here only a few days ago and now he was back. This time his nose was bent an awkward way, obviously broken and blood trickled down from it staining his shirt and robes.

He was suprised and worried that he knew most of the people who were there. Kay and Rex were there, Kay wearing a sling. It looked like he wasn`t the only one suffering from an injury. "You two alright?" he asked as he passed them. The nearest seat was next to...Cela. She looked worse then he had ever seen her. Even when he`d seen her about an hour ago she had looked better. Barry felt guilty of going upstairs. All he`d done was stall some of them so Sarah and the others could go. He`d lost his wand.

Barry sat down next to Cela and asked "Are you ok?" This time he wasn`t going to abandon her even if she didn`t need him. Barrys eyes then went to the person sitting next to Cela. Raiden. He was worse then Cela. He needed attension. He spotted the nurse nearby. She`d help him. He hoped nothing was serious. He could wait.

Sitting there waiting for something to happen a thought occured to Barry. All those years ago he and Cela had met Raiden together but since then they had rarely ever been together again. He was given hope by this for some reason. It was going to be ok.
