"Ohhh I seeee," She said in response.
Then, deciding to be totally random, Lucy said, "I wanna go to Australia!" Yup, she did. Why? No idea. Crazy girl.
Mika looked up, grinning as Lucy said she wanted to go to Australia. "Really?" She chuckled and took another bite. Maybe she could ask her parents nicely and bring Lucy with her. As a surprise, in that case...

Brant walked to the table and sat down, sure he was happy that they had won the quidditch cup, but he was a little sour on not winning the house cup aswel.
"Great job everyone" he said not really directed to any one but just really yelled it to the table.
"I..." Kellen stared at him, "I didn't. Give me a moment of preparation here, this has to be done right."
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, holding it for five seconds. Then his eyes snapped open and he smacked his palms down on the table, "Well! I have been everywhere in this castle; upstairs, downstairs, but not in the broom closet because I already made that mistake at the beginning of the year and I wasn't going to do that again. I've also been out to the greenhouses and that was a life-changing experience. The professor got me to do a demonstration in which I had to drink a witchweed-passionflower blend of tea and who knows what that would have done well okay I know now but I didn't then is what I'm saying so anyway-"
Breath. "We drank this tea and then he cast a spell on me and I fell asleep in class and had the best dream ever then he woke me up and told us to pick another tea and mix it with witchweed so I did that but I picked freaking powdered Devil's Snare which gave me nightmares and it's a good thing I have bladder control or I might have wet the bed! Wet it, I say! And... oh, by the way," this was said in a much more conversational tone, "we should ask Cutter if you can have some of that first blend I mentioned, it'll help you sleep. Continuing on!"
Breath. "I then went to my Flying Final and trust me Sabel it was bad. I mean likes a lordy it was terrible. Describe your ideal broom? What is Quadpot? I had no idea! I completely, absolutely and totally blustered out the whole thing and Vindictus is my Head of House! I am a walking dead man. I am an Inferi. I have to spend the next three years here avoiding him and hoping he doesn't seek me out! It's enough to traumatize a small nation!"
Breath. "AND FURTHERMORE--!" He blinked and raised a hand to his mouth, tugging slightly on his lower lip as he thought back over his tale of woe, "Hmm, no, that's about it, actually."
When Kellen slammed his hands down on the table, Sabel couldn't help but jump in surprise. If there was one thing Stern knew how to do, it was get another person's attention. That and make quite the interesting speeches.
For most of it he kind of just stared at Kellen, up until the point where wetting the bed was mentioned. The fact that those words were coming from the refined mouth of Mr. Kellen Stern was enough to bring a small chuckle from him. If Chaucer were here, the poor boy might faint with the lack of dignity and reservation within it all.
Quickly covering his mouth with his hand, he tried not to laugh at the dramatized woes being deposited before him. It failed however, when Kellen went on to talk about Vindictus, and all Sabel could imagine was the Professor chasing the Ravenclaw about the castle with a broom.
Lowering his hand slowly when Kellen was finished speaking, Sabel shook his head with a small grin. Noticing the food was out on the table, he reached over and picked up a bun, placing it pointedly on Kellen's plate, his tone matching the other boy's. "You must be starving you poor thing. All that adventure and no time for food. Eat. Eat."

"Yup," She said, pulling a plate of fries towards her. "I've always wanted to go, I dunno why. But my parents are always iffy about going places cause they're...very 'home-y' people. If that makes sense," Lucy told Mika as she stuffed a fry in her mouth. "Have you always wanted to go somewhere?"
Kellen was happy to see that Sabel was laughing, even if his own dignity was suffering at the moment. Still, he couldn't help but keep up the act when Sabel presented him with...
"A bun? A bun? I relate to you this tale of past present and future woe and you attempt to pacify me with a meager little bun? I am shocked and appalled at you, sir. Indeed I am. Do you not see the shock upon my face?" He pointed dramatically at his face, his chin tilted up and his eyes flaring slightly, but the effect was somewhat spoiled by the barely stifled snicker.

And that was his plan of what to do with his life... until he got here.
"Really? What happened?" he asked. Now that he thought about it he hadn't seen the two together very often. And he had that in pretty good authority seeing as how often he was with those girls recently. He too looked over at the Slytherin table. Destiny, Marie, and Evelyn were sitting right next to each other. And both Marie and Evelyn were smiling... about something... and looking straight this way. He wondered what they were thinking about. Maybe Destiny told them about their little food fight.
''That's probably because i don't have a 'i play football' written on my forehead so don't worry'' Josh replied and laughed loudly again but silenced himself quickly when he saw the Headmaster standing up to speak. Not to listen to the old guy of course, he just did not want any other trouble even at the very last evening at the school. ''Coolness...'' so he went on with a more normal tone ''...i think we can play together sometime ha? Where do you live? London?''
It looked like he got a lot of pauses from his speech than usual this evening which was odd for Josh but Carter had a good point there 'What happened?' He did not know exactly what had happened so he shrugged ''I'm not sure. She just acts weird. I can't understand what her acts mean. I am confused. But i think it may be because of family stuff, you know, those rich pureblood families does not like their children to be friendly with our lot. That's what mum told me. My father is a muggle''

The grin made it to the half-hearted point as Sabel tilted his chin up, continuing with Kellen's jesting; why not? "Indeed Sir, I do see thee bun before you...errr shock on your face." A similar snicker left his throat and he choked to swallow it.
Flicking one finger up between them he tried to cover his slip-up."However, do remember good Knight, that bread was the staple diet of those who fought such ferisome battles and conquered. Ever was there a man who achieved such victories as you, that did not begin at a loaf of bread. Thus in honor, you must end at a loaf of bread."

Sabel arched an eyebrow and propped his chin in his hand. "Would you rather, dear Sir, that I reach across your plate to grab the chicken that is on that side of you?" He extended a finger to point at the plater on the other side of Kellen. "We may need to lean across you to do so; my arms are not so long as that."

He set the chicken down between them and started filling his plate from all the platters and bowls around him. Lifting his fork, he waved the tines at a bowl of salad on Sabel's other side, "Could you pass that, please?"
"I can tell my parents where I want to go and they just book a flight there," Mikaela had always wondered why her parents just didn't buy like, a private-plane or something, since they traveled so much. But they probably preferred to do it the usual way, which Mika didn't mind. "Actually, I've always wanted to go to New Zealand, which seems to be the ONLY place my parents don't like..." That stank, the only place she really wanted to go to was the only place her parents didn't like. Ughhhhh...
Mika shook her head at her thoughts. Her parents could be annoying. "But Australia sounds nice," Mika had never been there.

"Oooh New Zealand sounds nice tooo! What language do they speak there, do you know?" She asked her.

Chuckling at the other boy's sudden sense of vigor when he seemed to realize that there was a great deal off food within arms reach, Sabel obliged and handed Kellen the bowl of salad.
Finding nothing that really appealed to him, Sabel refilled their cups and took to slowly sipping at the pumpkin juice.

Kellen glanced over at Sabel's empty plate. This... would not do. Once his own plate was filled to the point of toppling, he carefully lifted it and set it down in front of Sabel, slipping the empty plate out from underneath. With a thump to the other boy's back, Kellen encouraged, "Eat up, Dakest! If you don't eat you won't grow and then you'll be shorter than your sisters and that would be tragic."
He started adding food to the second plate, pausing only to reach over and remove the bun Sabel had given him, "But this was a present and I'm keeping it."

He glanced over at the boy and smiled a little at the bun comment. "I...don't have any sisters." He slid the plate back towards Kellen, watching as a peice of chicken wavered dangerously at the top of the pile. "And seriously...I can't eat all this..."

Yeah, great, rub salt into the wounds, why don't you? Nancy felt the distinctive urge to just leave. She had done what she had come to do for after all, so no reason for her to stay any longer. Just as she had decided to turn on her heels and go the tiny Gryffie spoke up again. Well, duh, obviously. She couldn't SAY that, though, so she simply chose to shake her head. Yes, lying was bad, but sometimes it was just necessary.
...though right now, sitting there on the same bench as the girl, Nancy questioned her decision to lie. She could be over there at the Slytherin Table again, minding her own business. Instead she had to sit there next to the Gryffie girl who obviously did not want her there. And who could blame her? ZOMG! Tired blue eyes immediately flickered towards the other girl as she went on a rampage...against HER obviously. During the girl's "speech" she felt the anger rise inside of her but when she had finished it had disappeared...and been replaced by something else. Guilt, a feeling of being a horrible person. "Yeah, I know...sorry." She simply gave in. Nancy did not have the strength to argue anymore.
Besides, the girl was right. Sort of.
This situation was just plain awkward. There was no other way to describe it. The Slytherin girl whom Roxanna still didn’t know the name of had come over to apologise for the lang-locking hex. Then she had gotten as it appeared to Roxxy irritated and now didn’t want to admit to it. Confused she asked again "Why are you irritated with me?"
Had she done something or signalled something with her body language that could cause the other girl to take offense? She didn’t think so but how other people interpreted things were hard to know and understand.
Unsure really what to say or how to react to the other girl weirdness Roxanna reached out and touched the others girls left hand slightly saying with emotion "Yes, I know. It’s okay. It wasn’t entirely all your fault you were lmperioused by that bad dude."Retracting her hand she continued "You weren’t in control of your own actions." Could they get passed this now? And why did the Slytherin girl seem so exhausted?
"Reallyyyyy?" Lucy said in disbelief. "You're so luckyyyy, Mikaaaa." She wished her parents would do that. She couldn't even remember the last time they went anywhere. Oh, wait they went to Ireland the summer before to visit her grandma. But that was it. Huh.

"Well, my parent's like to travel and are always open to suggestions..." That made everything a whole lot easier... Mika had actually been to a lot of places in fact. But if she asked in a 'bad mood' her parents would get all 'ask nicely' and all that, but if Mika kept calm and asked nicely, things usually went good.
"Well, 98% of the population actually speak english," Mika had done her homework on that subject.

"It is a lot of food," Kellen agreed, putting his hand on the other side of the plate to keep it where it was. "And you need to eat as much of it as you can. Shortie jokes aside, eating a full meal will help you sleep. Really."
He looked up towards the staff table, trying to see if Jacob Cutter was present, "I have a great idea for your sleep, and I guess that girl's too if you feel like sharing."

He was about to ask how Kellen knew his sleep patterns were off when he remembered the...words Dylan and him had exchanged about nightmares. Looking down at the overloaded plate, Sabel nudged the wavering chicken with the end of his fork. "That's...very thoughtful of you."
Her sleep. Alexa's sleep. While the lack of it concerned him, he couldn't say he was jumping off his seat at the proposition of giving her something. That didn't mean he wouldn't do it - if it would help her, he would - but he didn't have to look forward to it.

Kellen put a hand on Sabel's and applied pressure, the tines of the boy's fork sinking into the chicken, "Eat that before it resurrects or something. You know, if so many students are having sleep issues I can't see why the Headmaster hasn't been looking for a solution. I'm not so much being thoughtful as using common sense. But I can't see professor Cutter up at the staff table, so it looks like I'll have to dip into my private stores for you."
'Private stores' referring to the rather large amount of witchweed powder he'd taken from class "for homework purposes". He'd also gone around to some other students and collected their leftovers, anticipating that there would be a few nights this summer he would need sweet dreams.

"The only things I want ressurecting themselves," Sabel mused, blinking at the chicken on the end of the fork, suddenly imagining it growing a head and stubby wings, "are smiles."
The thought wasn't given much opportunity for further consideration as Kellen mentioned something about private stores. Turning, Sabel nearly gave his friend a light clip over the back of the head, instead hissing at him. "Private stores!? Stern?????!!!"Now, he was worried about Kellen.

"Ahhh, I see you know your countries!" She said with a giggle. "That's good, though, cause then I don't have to translate stuff to be able to understand them."

"Whining helps sometimes," Like... Getting a dog. If you whined long enough, your parents usually gave in.
"Well, only the ones I'm interested in," Mika grinned. She'd pull out loads of information to impress her parents, to convice them to go somewhere. And it actually worked quite well. "I know, I hate when you come to a country, and no one knows what you're saying..." Fun vaccation, huh? Nope.

Rex started dancing by himself by the Gryffindor table. Hopefully Rex will be noticed this time. "Any girls like to dance with me?" Rex asked them.
Dylan spotted some random Gryffie start dancing. He smiled, and stood up. Heading over to the lad, he asked, "I will dance with you. What style do you wish to attempt?"
