Gryffindor House Table This table seats the noble students of Gryffindor house. |

Pain struck anew as he watched his friend, and the world shattering around her. How could he make her see, that none of it had been her fault, that she wasn't to blame? Reaching out, he took her hand with his, and placed it over the ribs that had been broken, that were almost back to normal; at least he could climb stairs without having to pause every few flights. His voice came quietly, sincerely, his eyes searching hers with honesty. "Even powerful wizards, cannot break the curse you were under. Even they, would have done the same thing. You didn't do those things. Remi did." He tilted his head a little, giving her a small smile. "And there is nothing broken, that cannot be repaired, Alexa. And then, it can only be made stronger." |

She took a gulp of her pumpkin juice, not really tasting anything. "Uncle Silas is going to let me live with him but I am afraid that I will just upset him more... I just want to run away. I promised Dylan we'd stick together though. I just don't know what to do, Sabel." she rambled on in a dead voice as she pushed sausage links across her plate still. |

Dylan was bored at the Slytherin table. Gold had left him. He spotted Alexa at the Gryffindor table. He strode over and took a seat next to her. "Hey Alexa. Sabel," he smiled. His eyes were a bit puffy, from the lack of sleep, but otherwise he was ok. |

Letting out a small breath, he caught sight of Alexa's tears again and kicked himself for not being able to stop them. Something. There had to be something he could do. Continuing to hold her hand, he let his thumb gently stroke the back of it as he thought. Another small breath escaped him as he looked back up at Alexa, including Dylan in the sweep of his eyes. "You did not want to hurt people, you would never intentionally do so. You are not a bad person. I know that, your family knows that, the school knows that. You were caught in the torrent of something you couldn't control; no one blames you. But...as I know you will not take those words of truth to heart..." He reached out and wiped away her tears. "You are forgiven. All of you, by all of us. You have shed tears enough to water the flowers of the whole school." He gave them both a small smile. "Perhaps, it is time to watch them bloom." |
Kellen looked between the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor tables, but it was spotting Sabel that decided him. He hadn't seen his friend in forever, at least it felt like it, and if he didn't talk to him now he'd have to throw the question at his friend on the train and that would leave only a few hours for Sabel to think about it. So, with all the grace of one who has finished exams and wants nothing more than to stuff his face one last time, Kellen dropped onto the bench across from Sabel, "Hey Dakest." |
SPOILER!!: Alexa and Sabel Dylan put an arm around Alexa. She looked upset and that wasn't a good thing. He gave her a squeeze. "It's ok Alexa." He looked at Sabel, "Sabel. I know you are trying to help, but you aren't. I would know." He patted the lad on the shoulder, "Chill a bit. Alexa will get over it when she chooses. You can't make her." He gave her another squeeze. "In your own time sweetheart," he said, quietly, smiling at her. |
Jack couldn't believe it was over. No more classes. No more finals. No more Head Boy stuffs. Nothing. It was ALLLLLLLL done and over with. The thought made him sniffle a bit as he wandered over to the Gryffindor table--this was his last FEAST. And soon, he'd be on his last train ride home! So many last things. It was hard to try and soak it all in! As he sat down, he smiled at Sabel and Dylan, who had obviously wandered over from his own table. "Hey guys," he said with a smile. Once he took his seat, he noticed Alexa was there except...she was crying! OH NOOO! NO CRYING GIRLS AT THE FEAST! He figured he knew exactly what was up--she was still shaken up over the whole fight that had occurred a few weeks ago. He bit his lip--what could he say to help her calm down? He knew that she and a lot of the other people who had been cursed were having a rough time getting over it, but no matter how many times they assured her that it wasn't her fault and she would never do any of that stuff in her right mind, he wasn't sure it would help. Maybe it was one of those things that she had to realize herself. He looked at Dylan who voiced those thoughts a second later. Jack bit his lip, feeling he should say SOMETHING still rather than just ignore her. "Alexa...it's ok. You'll be alright. You'll pull through this," he assured her. Feeling that it wouldn't be too useful saying anything else, he awkwardly grabbed a plate and started to pile on food. |

Letting go of Dylan and looking at both Sabel and Jack she shook her head. "I need some fresh air...." she said as she got up and started walking away from the Gryffie table. |

He stood up after her, "Seriously guys. Stop trying to make things better. It doesn't work." He followed her, "Alexa come back. You need to eat." |

Jack looked at his food and played with it with his fork. BOOOOO this was turning out to be a horrible feast! Jack looked up at Dylan and frowned. "I didn't know her aunt had died as well--I thought she was still upset about the situation with Remi," he explained. How was he supposed to know she had experienced a death in the family?! He watched as Dylan got up to follow her and he crossed his arms. Excuse HIMMMM for trying to be a nice guy! He was officially never speaking again. Mhmmm. He decided it. |
Catching up: Alexa, Dylan, Kellen, Jack - sorry for the long post XD When Kellen sat down at their table, his mood picked up and he was sure things were going to get better. Perhaps they could bring some laughter and smiles to those that had been through so much; help them to move past what had been done. And then Dylan spoke, and all consideration of smiling and laughing fled. Never in his life, had he wanted to hit someone more than in that moment. He could feel his fist tighten on the table in furious frustration as his eyes turned to Dylan. He would have said something to the boy, would have torn his head off with a spew of angry words, had Alexa not spoken after, had she not ended up clinging to him. Her words stung like hot iron. She wanted them to hate her? To be angry with her? She...didn't think she would get through this? Hot pain stabbed through his core as the words sunk in. He was going to get up after her, but Dylan was there first, saying things that boiled rage within. Standing, he slammed his fist down on the table, glaring at the other boy. "Forgive us, if we don't hate her Dylan. Forgive us if we forgive her Dylan. Forgive us if we understand that telling her things won't be okay will only put her in a darker state, will only pull her down further. And forgive us if we seem forceful in our concern for our friends. We wouldn't expect you to understand what it is to see our friends like this, considering you were a victim of this experience. So, forgive us, if we wish to see you smile again." His eyes turned to Alexa, pain and fear in them, his voice becoming a little more gentle. "Alexa...please...don't say that. We don't hate you. We don't want to hate you." He swallowed hard, gesturing to include everyone at the table, including Jack who had only tried to be nice. "We love you Alexa...so...please...don't say such things. We are here for you. That's...all we are trying to say." His eyes flicked back to Dylan. "But it looks like you have found your comfort, and for that....I am grateful." It hurt, it hurt so bad to not yell at them both, to tell her how scared he was for her, that he just wanted to hold her until she felt safe. That his only desire was to protect her, from all pain. "I...will stay out of your hair then." It hurt, to turn around and sit back down without another word. |
Was she... welcome here? She -- was not. They were all quite at ease in each other's company - Dylan, Alexa, Sabel, everyone - and she would be the odd-one-out, if she went to join them. Especially since Dylan did not want her to pull at his sleeve, anymore. He hated her, now. Great. Gold bit on to her lower lip, hesitated for a second; and then, with an inward nod, the fifth year - who had changed completely over the past week, and was no longer the always-cheerful, always-ready-to-crack-a-joke type she had once been - decided not to head for the Gryffindor table, but leave. Turning around, the fifth year had left the Great Hall within seconds. Once outside of it, she breathed deeply. Or tried to. Now to head to the common room. It would probably be empty, since everyone was coming down here. She could find herself a comfy pillow, and close her eyes against it. In peace. |

Alexa let Dylan hug her and rub her back she winced a bit and then brokle threi embrace. "I can't be in here right now, Dylan. I will eat in the train or something. I will talk to you later," she said as she leaned up and kissed his cheek. He was the only friend she had that understood at the moment. |

He had heard, that letting someone walk away was the hardest thing to do; letting go was the hardest thing to do. But he didn't have another choice. He simply sat there, nodding in a slow, numb state as she yelled at him, as she cursed him trying to do what he knew to help. Maybe she was right. Maybe Dyan was right. It didn't make sense to him, but maybe, in some way they were right. Or maybe, it was merely the pain from being unable and powerless to do anything to help her; as he had been powerless to help her when she was under the curse, as he had been helpless when Raiden had been hurt. He hated it. Swallowing hard, he focussed his blurry vision on the edge of the table, taking her words without objection or argument. And then she was gone, and tears stung his eyes in her place. He hadn't meant things that way. He knew healing took time. He just wanted to be there for her. Now though, she didn't need him, and as much as it hurt, he would respect that. |

"I know its hard to watch her like that but...I guess we can't really do much but let her just handle stuff herself," he said with a sigh. After all, within the past like...five minutes she had up and run from the table TWICE. Yes, she was veryyyyy distraught, that was obvious, but nothing they could say would do anything more than to cause her to run away a THIRD time, he was certain. He felt sorry for Sabel though, who was just trying to help and just kept getting screamed at. Sigh. Women. |
Hoping to enjoy the great feast that had been waiting for him, ohh just think of all the food and fun, Josh hurried into the Great Hall and directly walked to the Gryffindor Table where some of his housemates seemed to have a deep conversation. Was it a deep conversation? *BlinkBlink* He did not know but whatever... ''Hey guys!'' he greeted them cheerfully waving a hand then jumped on the seat to have himself settled down. ''Ooo no food yet?'' |
Sabel, Alexa, Dylan and Jack Through it all, Kellen just sat there and listened. This... was not why he'd come over to the table. But then the Head Boy was speaking sense and he found himself agreeing. He nodded and spoke as cheerily as he could, "The Head Boy's right, Sabel. If she wants to brood over it then let her. Personally, I think it's great you're trying to support her and let her know you're there for her, but girls tend to not make sense so let her do what she wants and if she ever feels like apologizing then let her do that too." Behold the insensitive and blunt advice of Kellen Stern. |
The End of the Term Feast already? Really? Woww. Lucy was in awe as she sat down and looked around her. She couldn't believe the year was already gone and now she got to go home! Not really feeling that hungry, she poked her food a bit and then took out a chocolate frog. Yum! |

"So what's up?" She asked Lucy and grabbed a plate with bread. |

"Heyyy Mika!" She said, now reaching for a goblet of pumpkin juice. "Oh, not much, just...OH!" She said suddenly, her eyes bulging for a second as she realized something. "Hey! You wanna come visit me at my house over the summer, Mika?? Huh, huh? Tyler and Kat are coming to stay, but my parents said I could invite other friends, too!!" She said excitedly and took a gulp of her juice. |
