Blinking, Sabel's head swivelled a little and he smiled. "Hey Carter. It's been a little while. Had to carry anyone since the feast?"

No more twenty questions? He glanced around to see if ghouls were lurking with que-cards numbered 1 to 20. A sigh of relief left him when he saw none and he returned to picking at his meat. Nope. Carter's turn.

"Ok, ok!" Choluna was really getting the sense that Sabel was annoyed by her, so she decided to talk to Carter. "So, where are you from Carter?"

Sabel blinked at Choluna's sudden definsive two two letter words. Had he said something wrong? He rewound the mental recording of their conversation and then played it forward at slow speed. Aside from how amusing it was to watch them talk in slow motion, he couldn't find anything that might have set her off.

Scratching the back of his neck he glanced at her before looking back down at his food with the intention of eating it. No sense in interrupting. Ugh, he really didn't feel like eating.

"SweetWater has Muggle College footall as well as Muffle American pro football, sorry not talking about soccer,mam" Rex told Chelsea. " There is a Muggle type of lots of rides like Great America, too,mam" Rex kept explaining a little more of SweetWater to Chelsea. " Yrs, I am a very good dancer,mam" Rex said to her. " I am very clumsy in front of cute girls like you except when I dance or fly especially playing Quidditch,msm" Rex explained to Chelsea.

"So... what have you guys enjoyed most about this year so far?" She said this to BOTH Carter and Sabel.

Tapping his fork he glanced up, shrugging one shoulder. "Meeting all the people here I suppose. Everyone's very...unqiue. It's nice." He glanced at Choluna. "What about you?"

"I like to eat food that is spicy, i love spicy food, it's very delicious and i do love homemade chocolate cake, mostly i love eating homemade items, and do love to cook sometime," she said and asked "Rex do you love spicy food" and waved to the girl sitting with him "Hey, i'm Lucy and you?" she asked she had a feeling that she had met the girl earlier.

Glancing at Choluna's giggle, Sabel frowned slightly as he pondered her question. Berty Botts beans. Shaking his head slowly he started wrapping up the minced meat in a napkin "No. I don't think I'm allergic to those."

Although he was alergic to a lack of sleep. But then again, that was the only excuse he had for not going. Letting out a sigh he nodded a little bit. "Alright...I guess. But just for a bit. It's been a bit of a long day."

She also remembered Sabel and Chaucer being such good friends! Wait! She hadn't seen Chaucer around at all. "Where has Chaucer been? I haven't seen him at any of my classes or hanging around..." Oh well! "Ugh! Have you dont the DADA homework yet? It's hard!"

"Chaucer?" Sabel blinked and looked down at his meat in thought, picking at a strand here and there. The memory of the meeting they had held the other day flashed briefly through his mind before he dismissed it with a shrug of his shoulder. "Haven't seen him in a while." He had the feeling the definition of a while would vary between them in this case.

Glancing up at the mention of the DADA homework he nodded. "I finished it a little while back." He considered her for a moment and let out an internal sigh before resigning himself to the question despite his craving for sleep. "What are you having trouble with?"

Choluna took out her homework and looked at it. Lets see... she know what the only circumstance you could survive a killing spell. (ooc. can't say it aloud or that would be cheating if someone else saw this!) but how could the most simple spell be dark? Oh yeah! She knew! And she was gonna use the hurling hex on broomstick example from class! "Oh ok! I get it! Divination homework is super easy too! So far classes are pretty good! I like Divination, but my favorite is charms! What about you?"

"Charms is confusing to me." He admitted, scrubbing the back of his neck. Well, that was the difference between Charms and Transfiguration; for some reason he couldn't get them quite safe in his mind.

Shrugging one shoulder he decided perhaps he should cut up the meat and feed what he could to Merlin. "I think, so far I like Astrology, but I'm looking forward to Ancient Runes." Reaching down he started cutting up the meat into small, minced pieces.

"I love Astrology! And Ancient Runes is ok, but not as fun as Astrology." said Choluna. Boy, she was craving a butterbeer. "Hey do you wanna go get a butterbeer in Hogsmeade?"

Butterbeer? Hogsmeade?

Sabel blinked.

He had totally forgotten it was Hogsmeade. But he hadn't completely forgotten...letting out a sigh he gave Choluna an honest, apologetic look. "I'm, actually, believe it or not, allergic to butterbeer. I found in my first year." He shook his head a little with the memory. "Blew up like a birthday balloon. It wasn't fun."

Hehe! Choluna giggled at the thought of him having a sip of butterbeer and blowing up like a balloon. "Wanna go to Honeydukes? Or are you allergic to Berty Botts beans too?"

Sabel frowned a little at her choice of words; 'then SHE'D let HIM got to sleep'? He might have been too tired to think about it properly, but as far as he could remember, it was HIS choice when he splet or not.

However, doubting it would make any good difference and being too tired to bother, Sabel let it go and gave a small nod as he stood, pocketing the wrap of minced meat. "Alright. But to warn you I have no idea where I'm going."

"Oh I was just kidding!" she said as he frowned. Whoops! She was sarcastic a lot, and he seemed to take it seriously many times!

"It's in Hogsmeade! Follow me!" then she walked out!

Sighing, Sabel pulled on his jacket and made sure the meat was secure in his pocket before turning to follow her. He found himself vaugely wondering at how he had no idea where Hogsmeade was, while still being unable to find the proper classroom on his first try half the time. Although, he had never been one for directions or orientation.

Stuffing his hands in his pockets he made his way out of the Great Hall. At least one of them knew where they were headed.

Cameron hated the whole 'group dining experience'. What about the germs? And the collective, gryffindor conversations that revolved around Quidditch? Or the nasty fact that you had to sit next to people and actually talk to them..

*shudder*

Cam was perfectly happy to observe all this from the very, very back of the table. Leaning against the wall, she watched; bored was an understatement to how she was feeling but she had to do it. Smile and bare it, that was the key.

Oliver was famished. All that butterbeer and walking around Hogsmeade had built up a real appetite.

Entering the Great Hall, he glanced over at his own table first, then the huffie table before his eyes locked onto a familiar looking girl over at the Gryffindor who looked... well she looked like she was trying to disappear into the wall. Looked liked he was destined to not sit at his own table this year.

With smirk fixed in place, he wandered over to the reds and hovered beside the girl. “Hey Gherkin Girl.” He smiled at her, sitting without invite then peered at her face... or more, her expression. “What's up with your face?” heh.
