Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room! Boys' dormitories are upstairs and to your left; girls', the same on your right. You'll find all of your belongings have already been brought up.

Here is the perfect place to relax after a hard day of school. Study, trade chocolate frog cards, play exploding snap or just have fun with your friends. For your own sake, don't let it get too messy or Professor Lawson will have you scrubbing it spotless with your toothbrush.

Lucy laughed and then shook her head. "I forgot who I was talking to at the moment!" And then she remembered something. "Oh, wait! I've got something for you!" She said excitedly as she reached in behind her and pulled out a wrapped box that was filled with assorted jokes, pranks and other annoying objects that any serious practical joker would love. She handed the box over to Kat with a smile. "This is a thank you for getting me my Pygmy Puff," She said shyly. "I hope you like it, Tyler helped me pick it out," She continued, and then came the urge to laugh as she remembered that Ty had wanted to get Kat some deflater thingy for her big hair.

Daniel smiled at her and said, "Well, so how was it being a prefect and all?" he asked not because he is curious but because he had to have something to start a conversation.

Lucy shrugged; maybe he would. But then Kat got all offended because she thought that she had lied to her about her hair. "No no no no! I was only joking, Kat, honestly!" "Really. And you can try the gel only if you want to; I don't care either way. I think your hair looks fine the way it is right now," She said with a nod. She wasn't lying--and even if she was, you could always tell when someone was lying. They start looking every else and trying to ignore the question. But Lucy wasn't lying because she she really did like Kat's hair. She didn't even realize it was poofy looking until Jules had mentioned it last year. Speaking of Jules, where was she? "Hey, Kat. Isn't Jules coming back this term?" She said with a concerned look.

"Chelsea, very pretty name,mam " Rex told her. Rex had a couple of chocolate frogs. " Here, have this chocolate frog, mam" Rex said to Chelsea.
