Elxa smiled sweetly at the boy giggled a little bit. "Hey, no worries. You just have to try harder not to gert caught next time. That is the secret to my success. I slide under the radar so to speak, and besides, no one suspects the cute little blonde girl" she said as she batted her eyes playfully.

Alexa continued to give the cute little kitty love and smile at Sabel.

Ohh Italy! Nice place. You know how to cook Italian food? Cuz i just love italian food. I'm from India though. I mean i'm born american but i have lived all my life in india. My parents are researching ancient magic there in India. Said Jason. Proud of his parents.

Sabel laughed at her playfullness. Yes, he was pretty sure she could get away with a great variety of things, including, as he remembered calling people peasants, lords and knights. Smiling he shook his head. "It's a little harder to slide under the radar and not get caught when its what you say that causes the problem." In all honesty, he was relieved she wasn't upset at him; that those he had told laughed it off before anything else.

Stretching out to his full length, Merlin rolled onto his back on Alexa's lap, paws up in the air as he purred loudly. The kitten seemed rather pleased with himself and the attention he was getting.

"I like it quite a bit," Natalie told Leslie. "It's fun just meeting new people. And I'm rather excited to explore the castle a bit."

Natalie blushed at the response she got from Jason. "Yes, it is nice to meet someone in my year, too. You're from India? That's really cool. It seems like such a great place. And don't be afraid to ask me things. I have three older sisters who have gone here, so I know quite a bit about this place."

"That is so cool," said Leslie, "I have two siblings a brother and a sister, but we are triplets and they go to different schools." Leslie turned to Jason, "Yes I can cook Italicize and so people say it is very delicious."

"Awww really?" Kat was disappointed now. How could Tyler not get scared? He was one strange boy. "Wait you can't swim. I thought that was just me" she laughed a bit. "He is an idiot. Well at least he didn't let you drown" she shrugged.

"That's cool! Is it hard being away from them sometimes?" Natalie asked. "By the way, I'm really glad I met you guys. I was afraid I wasn't going to make any friends in my year!"

"Tell me about it," said Leslie with a smile, "I was so nervous that I would be the lonely outcast at Hogwarts but apparently I guess not."

Natalie laughed. "I know how you feel. I just hope I don't go through my seven years here known as "the little Conoman". It can be difficult following in the footsteps of three beautiful, intelligent, successful sisters." She sighed, leaning her head back on the couch.

"I know what you mean I hate having to follow in my brother and sisters footsteps," said Leslie.

Natalie nodded. "So we're in the same situation. So Leslie, what do you like to do for fun?" Natalie asked, trying to make conversation.

Josh listened the boy without making another sound till he poured out all he should say. He knew Jason? Now that was interesting but he was aunable to understand why Jason would be disappointed with him. 'Come on!' ''I don't see a reason that he'd be dissapointed with me.'' Josh defended himself ''It does not mean i favour the house of Slytherin just because i have friends from there. I like my friends not their house, okay? I hope this is clear'' Merlin! He did not even like the colour green. ''I am trying to get neither you nor anyone. I don't attack people. I think you got me completely wrong. If only you have asked Jason who i was before judging and ending with results like that'' he looked at the blond boy's face as he apologised. This was surprising but..nice. ''Err..alright'' he responded ''And i apologise for yelling around. By the way, you were right about the names. I'm Joshua Carter..well..the loud boy''

*Blink-blink* Was this girl overprotective of...pillows even the mentioning of a pillow fight annoying her? That was..strange. They were...pillows after all and they existed for sleeping and fun. ''Ummm...i don't know you tell me'' he said taking a step back, his wide grin still remained on his face though.

Josh faced Legend when he remarked that there was unlikely to be a pillow fight, obviously he was overprotective of the pillows, as well. Well...he could understand one person in their house being obsessive over pillows but two? Nah!... No way. He laughed when they boy warned him that Hopton, this was the name of the pillow loving girl as he got it from his next utterance sounded like an interesting warning, would kill him with a joyful way of hers if he ever touched the pillows. ''Really?'' the second year said raising his eyebrows ''And maybe you are scared of her wrath too and trying to win extra reasons to not to be killed by helping her. Ha?'' *Grin*

Daniel laughed at himself and sat besides her. "Sorry, I didn't realize that I was talking to the Prefect Gold." he said and then extends his hand to shake hers, "Nice to meet you." he said with a smile.

" Well friends we will be, mam" Rex told Alexa,

"Well, even though I may lead, you have to follow my lead very closely and that is why you are a good dancer" Rex told Tori. "Well, I hope to see you in all the claases" Rex said to Tori.

" I am sure you heard of dogs named Rex" he told Sabel."Well, I think we will get along" Rex said to Sabel.

" Jason called you Cool Josh but as a joke or my nickname to you is going to be Noisy Josh" Rex laughed. "Gryffindor is like my family and familes always have arguments" Rex said to Josh. " Friends?" Rex asked Josh holding his hand out for a handshake as an olive branch.

Tori's ears and cheeks went pink as they radiated heat at Rex's comment, "Thank you very much, Rex."she managed to say, "If you have any trouble finding your classes, you let me know. I'll help you."

" I will help my dancing friend all the time when you need me" Rex told Tori. They two stepped around the common room. " I will ask for your help if I can't find my classes" Rex said to Tori.

Gold grinned at his words. "I was pretty surprised when I got the badge," she admitted. "Thanks for ... being so nice."

Hehe.

"Nice to meet you too, Daniel."

She looked up when a boy yelled out, and her eyes narrowed. What were those guys up to? She half-rose, but then sank back into her seat - those boys seemed to have sorted out everything pretty nicely.

No need for her to interfere, thank God.

"I love to fly," said Leslie, "Unfortunately I can't be on the team this year, bu that just gives me time to practice my flying it is the one thing that is mine...so Natalie what about you." Leslie's memories started flashing before her eyes as she remembered to the first time she rode a broom, her brother and sister couldn't fly sure they were smart and special but they couldn't fly like she could.

Shaylee looked up and smiled. Oh yeah, im fine, I trip all the time. Nothing uncommon for me. She smiled at the younger girl and said, Im Shaylee by the way, Fifth year.

Alexa shrugged her shoulders and smiled. "I guess you have a point there." she said.

Alexa giggled at the kitty and scratched it's furry little belly. "Dude, your cat is awesome. I hope he doesn't get mad at me... But I think I should go up and go to bed now." she told Sabel, stifling a yawn. It was hard work being Royal. Teehee.

She carefully picked the kitty cat up and set him down on the floor. "I will see you tomorrow, Merlin. And you too Sabel." she said as she patted the kitty on the head. Rising from the armchair she made way for the stairs leading to the girl's dormitory.

"Sounds great to me, Rex." she said with a smile. Turning on her heel she made way toward the stairs.

Looking back over her shoulder she said, "Thanks again Sabel."

Chelsea's eyes popped when she walked in,she had heard so many stories about thsi palce,but never believed a word of them. "Wow."was all that came out of her mouth,she studied the room,and made her way upstairs to the girls dormitory.

Ah, the Gryffindor Common room at last. Rue had been waiting all day to finally sit down and do her homework. She lay down by the fire and started. It wasn't a good thing to start off the year without doing her homework.

Rue caught Chelsea as she was walking up to the dorms. "Hello!"

"He'll just be upset the attention is retiring, but he'll get over it. Don't be surprised though if he sneaks into your room tonight to curl up with you." He watched as the cat stretched before turning to rub up against Alexa's legs, still purring loudly. "I think he likes you."

Bed. He hadn't thought of that word in quite a while what with all the excitment going on. Stretching and letting out a yawn which he covered with a fist, he nodded to Alexa. "Anytime. Sleep well."

Standing and gathering up Merlin in his arms he decided it was best if he retired as well. Smiling at Rex he gave a small laugh. "I've heard of a few called Rex. And I'm sure we'll get along just fine. Take it easy man."

And with that he retired to his comfy, cozy, inviting bed.

"I love to fly, too!" Natalie told her, glad they had something so important in common. "I've been flying basically since I could walk. I'm trying out for the team this year, but I'm not sure if I'll make it. I mean, I'm only a first year. But I guess Quidditch kind of runs in my family. My father actually played for the Tutshill Tornadoes," she said proudly. Her favourite childhood memory was attending Tornadoes games. Her dad wasn't on the team anymore by the time she was born, but they went to almost all of the games. "Other than that, I really like to read and write," she finished.

Chelsea turned ta the voice, and siad, "Hello!"she put her hand out, "The names Chelsea, and yours?"she said walking back down.
