Gryffindor Common Room
 

Josh ran, literally ran to the Common Room unable to wait more for settling himself in the comfy armchair before the lovely fireplace. There was still Cherry Pie pieces on his face and in his hair but he could not care less about that right now for he as running for the comfy armchair. YAY! and it was there!!! As he happily jumped on it he could help putting a content smile on his face. Man, he really missed that comfortable feeling, listening to the relaxing sound the burning logs made inside the burning fireplace.

Tori entered the common room, stopped at the door and let her eyes slither over everything. There she spotted Carter and Josh."Hey guys. It feels so great being back here. Feels like coming home."she remarked as she spun into the room and plopping down on one of the couches.

"O, what a foul old hag!" Enid muttered to herself as she entered the common room. She'd had a bit of trouble getting through the Fat Lady, since the girl couldn't remember the password right away. It took her a few tries, but she had been able to get it right eventually, though it upset her that the Fat Lady hadn't been able to tell that she - Lady Enid Banvard - was part of the royal family and needed no silly passwords to get around her own home! (Or so the girl thought). "O, Alas, my feet do hurt from climbing all these stairs!" she exclaimed before catching sight of the other students already in the common room. She gasped, and her green eyes widened. "What is the meaning of this?! Why are there peasants in the royal chamber?! Or art thou the chamberlains? I do hope thou hast prepared my bed well, for I could use a good rest," she said to them before beginning to wipe the dust off her uniform as if it was the most disgusting thing on earth. Yep, that spiked pumpkin juice was still having its effects on the girl's head.

"Oh this is what Jason told me about- the common room. the Gryffindor common room" Rex called out to all there. " My name is Rex Trigwell, fourth year transfer student from SweetWater, Texas" he told anyone and everyone here. Rex went to sit down and then fell down.

"Hi I'm Tori Hardene, second year hogwarts original."she chuckled as a boy came in and introduced himself loudly.

"Well nice to meet you, mam" Rex told Tori. "So what do we do in the common room,mam? " Rex asked Tori. " No girls or boys in the oposite dorms. mam, that sees like a good idea" Rex said to Tori.

"Well, we hang out when you don't have classes. It's like a room to relax with your friends."Tori replied."Why do you keep calling me ma'am? Not to be rude, i'm just curious."she asked.

Luna came through the portrait hole and her jaw dropped. "Wow!" she squaked excitedly. She landed on her feet and saw a few other fellow Gryffindors. She didn't see Ginny yet, but she would come, she knew for sure. "Hi! I'm Luna, a brand new first-year, and... hi!" she said to the others in the common room. She walked to a comfortable armchair and sighed. She sat down and looked into the fire. She couldn't wait for the lessons to begin. Finally she would learn how to use magic!

Jecca entered the room. She glanced at the common and nothing much has changed. "Hello Luna, I'm Jecca.. Second year...:) How are you? Jecca talked to her.

Ginny entered raced up so excited and said "Hi". "Wow this is amazing", Ginny said to herself. "I don't know where to start", she muttered. She sat on an armchair in front of the warm fire seeing if anyone was around.

Oooh, hello Ginny.. Jecca smiled.

"Oh hi Jecca", said Ginny. "Do you want to sit down".

Yeah, Sure.:yes: Jecca said. What's up?

"Well I'm just sorting things out at the moment and relaxing", said Ginny. "What about you?".

"Hey Josh. Which classes are you taking?"Tori tossed a question over to Josh as he lounged in the armchair.

Heh heee the armchair, the fireplace, the welcoming warm air of Gryffindor Common Room and...and...best of all: FRIENDS!!! Josh turned to face Carter who had also settled down on an armchair comfortably just as he did. ''It is surprising but i never imagined that i'd more happy at somewhere called 'school' than anywhere so everything is fine...just for now. My summer was...'' he thought over the summer a little before answering ''A little bit boring but okay. I went to the QWC though, it was amazing.'' he grinned ''How about you, mate?''

And someone else jumped in the armchairs...yay another familiar face . ''Heya Tori!'' Josh said cheerfully ''It's just impossible not to agree with you at that point'' Seriously he never imagined he would be happy to be back in a school. It was called school after all and he was unable to forget his days, the boring days, at the Muggle school. The Gryffindor boy laughed some after the girl's question. ''I'd take none of them if that was possible. Ha haa. Kidding of course. I hope i won't miss DADA, Divination and Herbology. And you? DADA for sure''

Josh couldn't help but laugh when he heard the girl who had just walked into the common room. And he looked back at her eyeing the co-called lady. Yeah, she must have been one of the Shakespearean ladies down at the Great Hall ''Peasants?'' he repeated laughing more then he jumped right before her kneeling in an exeggeratly bowing position ''Oh, my lady! Let me introduce myself for thy precious awareness! For i am Sir Joshua Carter, from the brave knights under thy command''

Tori laughed at Josh's reply. Of course she was one of those with a sharp aptitude in DADA."Yeah, you know me, quick to flick a wand if you get in my way."she remarked, flashing him a sly, playful grin."I really enjoyed Potions so i'll be doing that again, along with Charm, Transfiguration and Arithmancy. I hear we have a new Professor for DADA and he looks mean."she continued. Tori didn't bother paying much attention to the first year who had come speaking Shakespearean dialect. She decided she talk to her when they get to the girls dormitory.

Edd stepped in through the portrait hole. After taking a second to look around he walked up to a comfy looking armchair, picked up a roll of parchment on the desk and sat down.
He leaned back against the soft back of the chair and pulled out his wand, he tapped the parchment lightly then pulled out a quill and dabbed it in the nearby inkwell. The now rigid parchment was standing upright in his hand, with his quill he began writing on the parchment.

Lucy stepped into the common room, very refreshed from her sleep. She smiled at the faces she saw, realizing a lot of them were familiar. Waving to Carter, Josh and Tori, she made her way to her favorite armchair, and slumped down in it. Plotting time, hehe.

Number one: She could push Tyler in the lake. But if he could swim, that would just be plain stupid. Darn, now she'd have to ask him if could swim. Grrr.
Number two: She could embarass him again with the jail thing. But since she had already done that, it seemed repetitive. Plus, he did say he only had to spend a night in a cell or something. So maybe she should skip that one.
Number three: She could just tell him that she liked him and then---WHOA, THERE! What was she saying?? No, no, no, no. She DID NOT like that boy!! Skip number three.
Number four: ...Ahh, Lucy's brain was hurting.

Brant was so excited to be back in the commonroom it felt like home, He sat down on a chair and put his feet up rubbing his belly for it was still full of food, even though he ralphed infront of the staff table.

Luna turned around and saw a girl smiling at her. "Hi Jecca," she said, grinning. "I'm fine, thanks for asking. How are you?" she asked friendly. She thought of the fact that she would visit Yvaine tomorrow in the Owlery. And the try-outs for Quidditch. I'm so excited! she thought happily.

Chris Potter had taken the long way up from the Great Hall doing his first little Prefect check of the term. He was so used to it now that he just was doing it more for a welcome back Chris tour.

After saying the password to the Fat Lady, the sixth year Prefect walked into the familiar Common Room and waved at all the new students in there, and a few returning people he recognized. "Hey Guys! Welcome to Gryffindor!" he grinned happily. He then walked over to one of the comfy armchairs by the window.

Enid was watching the peasants as they interacted with one another, talking in their informal dialogue and wearing their inappropriate short dresses. Sigh. She'd really need to change into her royal robes soon... Enid was just about to head over to the girls' dormitories when Josh suddenly jumped right before her, kneeling on one knee. She blinked at first, completely caught by surprise, and listened as he spoke, introducing himself as Sir Joshua Carter. Enid raised her eyebrows slightly now and the largest of smiles came onto her face - yes! Finally, more royalty had come to aide her! "O, what a pleasure it is to meet thee, Sir Joshua!" she said, her hands on the ends of her skirt as she gave a very formal curtsy. "And thou art a knight!" she added with a gasp - to her, this was the equivalent of a very famous quidditch player. "O, the gods must be in my favour to grace me with thy presence! Alas, and here I thought I would end up becoming a peasant myself! These are most strange times we live in now, Sir Joshua, but I am sure that with thy help Lady Alexa and I shall find the king. Thou wilt help us, will thee not?" she asked him before then taking a glance around. "Where be thy horse, kind knight?"
