Have you just attended a class and received homework? Post in here and let everyone know! The more homework you do, the more points we earn, so try and do as much as you can. Gryffindor for the cup!

Note: When turning in homework, you must include the proper heading, or else your homework may not be accepted. Individual professors sometimes have slightly different headings, so remember to read their homework rules before submitting. We have come up with a list of almost all the proper headings for each class and professor. If we haven't gotten one yet it should be safe for the time being to use the ones listed in the General Classroom Rules. The list of them are below!

CoMC Lesson 2 Homework
Due: March 19th (by midnight EST)
Assignment: Discuss the differences AND similarities in the Ashwinder, Runespoor & Occamy in comparison to other species of non-magical serpents.
For example, similar to the occamy, in some python species, the mother stays to protect her eggs from anything that would harm them. In most other species, the eggs are left to hatch without any care from the parent.
(min 5 paragraphs)
Worth: 20 points
As always, plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated. Because this homework requires "research", remember to cite ALL outside sources and provide me with a link.

"Alright I suppose you've got the hang of referring to the meanings and the charts now, so for homework I would like each of you to find the present and missing numbers in your chart, what they mean and what you think of them. In addition you are to do the same for a friend's chart. That is all. Dismissed."
Work out your Rising Sign, and figure it in to the other calculations you have done so far (Sun and Moon). You may use the Rising Sign calculator or figure it by any other way you have at your disposal.
What do you think these three calculations say about your personality? And how do you think the other planets might have an influence on your life? What areas do you think the other planets might control?
10 points are possible, but I will allow extra credits for work well done.
PM your answers to Slytherin Fox by Sunday, March 28 11:59 p.m. EST. Be sure to include your name, house and user number on your work.
1) What type of parasite is witchweed? (2 points)
2) List at least three types of plants, muggle or magical, that witchweed normally infests. (2 points)
3) What is the spell we used to remove witchweed from its host in class? (1 point)
B. From the list of 16 plants, please choose one.
1) List the plant's name, and any qualities the textbook lists for this plant.
2) Mix yourself a cup of tea with your chosen plant and witchweed, and drink it before going to bed. Upon awakening, please make a record of whether this induced good dreams or bad dreams.
3) Please write a short paragraph about why you chose this particular plant.
(Part B is worth 5 points, extra credit will be given if the student takes the time to write out a particularly creative dream. )
Due: 5 days from this post (approximately 5am GMT, 28 March)
The Quidditch Final Exam will consist of two parts. You may choose to do one or both parts of this exam.
......
Written Exam (worth up to 10 points) Start: Thursday, March 25 @ 12am EST End: Saturday, March 27 @ 3pm EST Those taking the written exam must RP taking the exam in the Quidditch Final thread and PM your actual answers to me by the established deadline. Late exams will not be scored.

find the present and missing numbers in your chart, what they mean and what you think of them. In addition you are to do the same for a friend's chart.
Due 28th of March. As long as its on that day you're fine. Apologies for not posting a due date earlier.
Create your own Code Duello, including any limits and completion points that you think would be good to include. It is useful, in creating a Code Duello, to model it on duels you have witnessed or studied.
Choose between a Code Duello for use in the arena here at Hogwarts while you are learning, or one for an official dueling competition amongst adult witches and wizards.
This homework does not have a due date but must be in by the end of the term. A final due date for all assignments will be posted in this thread at a later date.
There is an extra award available for the best submissions.
Task two of the Flying Final: Practical has begun. This is worth up to ten points, so go, go, Lions and Lionesses!

Part two of the practical will consist of you encountering various obstacles and completing tasks while in the air. The use of wands during this portion is strictly prohibited. Anyone caught performing magic to complete the exam will receive a score of zero. Also, anyone who falls from their broom and needs to be sent to the Hospital Wing during the exam will receive a base score of two.
Scoring Rubric
One point for each creative RP post in which you are completing the task at hand. Asking questions, having a conversation without any mention of working on the task, or just observation posts do not count (Maximum points you can earn is 10)..
