Glad to see that at least Allison seemed to have a good head on her shoulders for directions, since it seemed that sadly it could not be counted as one of her virtues.

Ivory tried not to beam too much emotion in her smile at Sabel's exclamation. How utterly wonderful it was to be included as someone to not be left behind. Trying not to show surprise as Sabel gently reached her hand and due to Allision and therefore Arya's fast paced walk she was not so gently tugged down the corridor as swiftly as her not-so-tall legs would carry her. Now they were going somewhere it seemed, well at least it seemed, she couldn't help laughing to herself.

The singing had stopped and Vindictus was the one who emerged from the fifth dungeon. Broom care kits. FINISHED. Brooms de-slugged. DONE. It's amazing how productive students can be in detention! But what is a Ravie prefect doing down here? Am I needed elsewhere?

"What brings you to the underbelly of the school, Miles?" he asked casually and steered his prefect away from the entrance to the fifth dungeon.

Miles was taken aback as Professor Vindictus came out of the dungeon and he stepped back.

"I um....rounds?" he said with a faked innocent look as he looked past Vindictus' shoulder hoping to see in the dungeon. He craned his head further as the professor led him away and he turned around with a sigh and followed the professor.

"I was exploring a bit but I'm glad I ran into you. I went to talk to the Headmaster but he wasn't very helpful at all..." He pulled on his robe slightly, "Have you heard what happened in DADA, Professor V?"

Vindictus stopped and looked at Miles. "No one has told me anything!" he exclaimed in a low voice and folded his arms. "What happened? Was anyone hurt?"

Miles stopped when Vindictus stopped and looked at him curiously. Seeing his arms folded he wasn't sure if he was mad or not but he wanted to know. Oh well. "Well...that creepy Duskurk guy had us practicing Unforgivables on spiders. No one got hurt...I don't think. A few got sick and left though." He frowned thoughtfully, "I just don't think that's something that should be taught. What if because of that class someone decides they want to 'test' it more but this time on people?" He shuddered and looked around at the creepy dungeon corridor.

WHAT? HE WHAT? HE MADE THEM DO WHAT?

Rage. A blinding rage to be exact, was the first feeling Vindictus experienced as he listened to the words coming from Miles.

Rage was then replaced with a sickening feeling at the pit of his stomach.

And he took a deep breath after remaining silent for a few uneasy minutes.

"You're absolutely right, about that Miles. That lesson shouldn't have even happened," he finally croaked. But sometimes his filtering mode failed and Max did tend to say what he was thinking out loud. "You're telling me that Professor Freaky Duskurky climbed out of his dark cave and thought that practicing Unforgiveables was an appropriate lesson? Have you spoken to any other adult about this?"

Miles watched as what appeared to be several different reactions passed over Vindictus' features and silence fell between them. He found different places to look at until the silence was broken. The wall...old wall...a spider on the wall...spiders *shudder*.

Finally he heard Vindictus speak and a chuckle escaped, "Freaky Duskurky?" Now that was funny. "I...um...suppose so...?" Dark cave? What was he going on about? "I told the Headmaster but he said he already spoke to Professor Duskurk and he seemed kind of...well. Not like that he didn't care but that he had heard it one too many times. Doesn't help that I tend to ramble I suppose." He scratched the back of his head thoughtfully, "Professor V...is Duskurk really...V...Voldemortist?"

Mina hurried out of the fifth dungeon. She seriously never wanted to see the place again and swore to herself she wouldn't again have to. She would be more mindful of her actions and that was the end of it. Just needed to get that smell off of her and find her other friends, whom she was still on speaking terms with.

Noticing a few people in the corridor, she turned red. Did they hear her in there? Had they been just outside those door the whole time. Oh no, she didn't want to even think about it. No one could have heard her, right? Not wanting to even find out, she hurried off before anyone saw her.

Now Vindictus was in a pickle. Should I answer truthfully or dance around the answer? My goddaughter was part of a group of students who fought him years ago and she was brave enough to engage him one-on-one. She still carries the scars, both mentally and physically. And those thoughts brought the feelings of rage back. "So you're telling me that our new Headmaster didn't seem concerned about the use of Dark Magic in the school?"

Yes, Max was avoiding the second question and his moustache twitched. "His name is Thomas Duskurk," he corrected Miles. "And he was an underclassman when I was in school. Now, let me give you some advice that you can share with others - play it safe, keep your eyes open, and come to me if you notice anything odd going on. And I'm sure that our new Headmaster will have a private conversation with Mr. Duskurk regarding his inappropriate lesson."

I need to discuss this with Valon. Like NOW.

"I...um..." he could tell he had stepped in a topic that he probably shouldn't have brought up and he winced, "He said he had spoken to him and that it wouldn't be taught again. But he didn't act like...well how you are...no. Maybe because someone had told him already and it had been dealt with?" Maybe? Hopefully? He liked the headmaster he didn't particularly fancy thinking he was cruel like that.

He noticed the avoiding of his real question and he frowned thoughtfully, No answer is just as good as an answer sometimes remember. He nodded thoughtfully and decided to leave it at that, "Yes, sir." He'll be sure to do that from now on. He started to walk off and stopped, "Professor V? Under what circumstances COULD a person survive a killing curse? It...was one of the homework questions and I don't know that much about Unforgivables...."

It was unlike a prefect to question the actions of the Headmaster. But Max was thinking the same thing Miles was. Why did Tate act as if nothing were wrong when Miles went to him? Odd. It's just plain odd.

"Have you consulted any of the history books?" Vindictus asked because the answer was in the Hogwarts Library. "Begin with Great Wizarding Events of the Twentieth Century and Modern Magical History. Look for references about the Boy Who Lived - the one and only Harry Potter."

Miles looked thoughtful and nodded, "Right...library. My favourite place." He smiled genuinely with no hint of sarcasm and started down the corridor, "Thanks Professor V. I'll see you later."

Looking around for students who might seem lost he started humming as he walked off, slipping his hands into his pockets. "We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submarine, yellow submarine..." he starting singing to himself as he headed off to...well he supposed finish his rounds...maybe stop by the library.

Layla was walking down the dungeon corridor, happy that she had all her friends back. All except for one.... Dylan.

Dylan was out. Not on any rounds, since he didn't have one of those special badges. But he was perusing the dungeons. Hoping to catch someone. Hehe that would be fun. It was dark, so he probably wouldn't catch anyone. Let alone see anyone. He hoped he didn't stamp on anyone.

He collided with something, or someone. "Oopps sorry." He hoped it was the wall.

As she was walking, Layla collided with someone. She knew it was a person because they said sorry. Wait, she recognized that voice... "Dylan?"

Dylan fumbled in the darkness, trying to figure out if it was a wall. He dug around in his robes for his wand. He pulled it out and cast lumos. "Oh hey there Layla," he smiled, "Sorry for standing on you. My eyes aren't quite accustomed to the torch light. They seem to think it is nighttime."

Blake had been running around the castle in search of Shana so he could break the news to her. It was going to be very ugly but he was ready to take whatever she might throw at him. How could he lose control and ask Nikki out without consulting Shana? But really, that was a weak moment and he just couldn't help. As he stormed into the dungeon corridor, Blake grimaced on no finding her here either and leaned against the wall and sighed.

Shana was in a incredibly happy mood, so happy that nothing could ruin her totally happy news. Unless something totally drastic happen like o: Jake could get hurt or somethingg that would be bad cause she'd be all upset thennnn. She skipped along the corridor before spotting Blakey looking rather upset, she walked over and sat down next to him. "Heyy you."

Although he was not regretting asking her out, he still felt horribly guilty for not telling Shana first. How will she react? Is she going to hate him? Or be super upset? Sighing again, he started to walk back to the common room when a voice interrupted the silence. He spun around and ran over to the source of the sound and hugged her tightly, "Shana! I searched everywhere, where were you?" He asked and furrowed his brows. Gulp.

Shana burried her head in his shoulder as he hugged her, she was just about close enough to here him gulp. Wait. Reewind, he was hugging her, gulping, he'd been searching for her everywhere which could only mean a few things. 1. He was leaving her like he'd promised not to. 2. He didn't wanna ever speak to her again (which seemed high impossible cause he was hugging her but still possibilites.) or the most dreaded thing, the thing she'd hate him probably for life (if she was being over dramatic) 3. He was dating her the wicked witch of the west (who'd recently been upgraded from the wicked witch of the east because Shana&Brody were friends now.) "Ive been around. Now tell me so I can either, cry, hit you or simply walk off and never speak to you again. What did you do ?"

She took a few good seconds to respond to him but when she did, Blake's eyes widened and his stomach twisted in a knot as she mentioned the possibility of never speaking to him again.

He wanted to run far far away. But he couldn't.

"Do you want to talk here?" He asked, glancing around the dark corridor. It might be a good thing to talk in the dark just in case if she decided to hit him, no one would see.

Shana gulped, she let go of him and looked him up and down. pleasenotnumber3pleaseeenotnumber3.Anything but number 3. She bit her lip waiting for him to tell her he wasn't dating Nikki, waiting and hoping.

But he didn't, but then again he didn't tell her he was either.

"Just....Tell....Me." she said slowly, regretting saying anything after she'd said it. She wasn't entirely sure she wanted to here what he was gonna say now, sorta gut feeling it was gonna be something she certainly didn't wanna hear.

How is he going to tell her what she'd hate to hear? He can't risk losing such a great friend just because he is - sort of, dating a girl. As she let go of him, he immediately glanced down at his shoes and took a few steps away from her, "I..I..screwed up big time." He blurted out and turned around to face her, "You'll hate me for this...I asked out Nikki." He said as he shook his hand and cursed under his breath.

He wanted to dig a hole right there and hide in it forever if Shana decides to end their friendship.

Waiting to see what he said, she sighed. Looking up at him blank faced when he said what she hoped he wouldn't. Tears welled up in her eyes as she bit her lip. Why was she nearly crying ? It wasn't as if he was her ex boyfriend or something or he was moving away. No, it was more than that. Nikki had won, she'd stolen him.

Shana took a few steps backwards before leaning her head against the wall, feeling isolated from the rest of the world, feeling sort of alone. "liar" she said, under her breath, and that was all she managed to say, and that was still only in a whisper so he might not of heard.

Blake's mouth hung open on seeing tears in her eyes. He had no idea that this news would affect her so greatly. Pressing his lips together, he rested his hand on her shoulder, "I'm so sorry." He apologized but he knew it wouldn't be enough.

He sighed when she called him a liar but ignored it, "This won't disrupt our friendship at all. I promise. You'd still be my first priority."
