OMG, what had she done?
The girl wasn't ready for it, was she? And now...Sarah watched in horror as it hit her young opponent and knocked her off her feet.Squealing, she forgot about the fact they were meant to be having a duel, and rushed over to her. "Keeley?! I'm so sorry, I thought you might be ready for me...I..." Wait, she was..did not...her eyes were closed.She was unconscious.Leaning forward Sarah listened for breathing, and was immensely happy when she heard it.

Poking the girl slightly with her wand, Sarah could tell that the spell was still in force because she was met by a rigid body.Oh noooooo.Kneeling down, she whispered "Finite Incantatem" and removed the thing that had caused the damage.Oh she was going to be in sooo much trouble for this.

Brushing the girl's hair out of her eyes, Sarah felt the back of her head, and a golf ball sized bump that was forming.Gulping hard, she looked up and around the room. "Uhhhh hello?? Little help over here please!! Injured second year.I think I knocked her out...." Biting her lip, Sarah gazed back down at Keeley.Boy she is never going to speak to me again.

She wasn't casting at him any more... did that mean his spell had hit? His ribs were starting to ache from all the laughter, but at least he could get rid of the blindfold now without having to worry about defending himself. He pointed his wand at his eyes, "Finite."

It took him three times to be able to say it without snickering. He sat down on the ground, clutching his ribs, and glanced over at Arya and her wobbly-fingers with a grin, "Let's...let's call it... a draw?"

And then went right back to laughing.

Keeley was still passed out. Yep, not fun. She felt a distant something, like a prodding, but she didn't do anything about it. Still unconcious. Then her stiffness loosened, and that felt waaay better. Too bad she was out cold. The crimson haired girl heard a distant mumbling, too fuzzy to understand. Greeat.
OOC: yeah, didn't really know what to post here, but no one else was going to. Anyone willing to help a little ravenclaw?

Arya was still kneeling on the ground trying to pick up her wand in a giggling fit. She looked over to Kellen who was laughing on the ground, but seem to have his vision back. The girl looked a mess with her pink hair and wobbly fingers, tears streming down her face from so much giggling.

"Hehehehe-okay-Hehehehe--can yo--Hehehehehe--you--rid--spell--Hehehe..."

It was all she could get out between her giggling fit, wiggling her wobbly fingers his way. Hopfully he understood that she wanted him to remove the spells from her so she could stop giggling loudly and pick up her wand.

"Hi Nina!" Becca said. "So, we've got to duel. You ready to start?" Taking her wand out of her pocket, Becca got into a comfortable fighting position. "Because I'm ready when you are."

Rex went to help Kay. "Are you ok?" Rex asked her.

" Georgie, help Kay, this is what I meant about the "Magical Five" Rex told her.

Cela went straight to Keeley soon as she saw her knocked out.

"Keeley?" She asked softly and then pulled her wand, flicking it at her to wake her up.. "Rennervate."

She'd take her up to the hospital wing after she woke her up.

" Keely, wake up, wake up" Rex told her. " Are you ok?" Rex asked her.

" May I help?" Rex asked Cela.

Keeley heard some more distant mindless mumbling, and then- she was concious. Yayy. She slowly sat up, rubbing her head. Even without that stupid bump, she felt as if her mind was made of pocket lint. Rex and Cela were there. Worried. She had always seen Cela, known of her, but didn't really know her. Maybe it was a prefect superpower to know anyone's names. And she barely knew Rex too, but he was sort-of, maybe her friend. "Er, was I blacked out by a stunning spell?" Wow, how embarrassing. If only the paler than normal girl weren't so groggy and put-out feeling. "Oh, and thank you."

" You might want to take it easy with these spells" Rex told Keely.

Cela smiled at Rex, "No I think she'll be okay, you just go ahead and finish your dueling like the Professor asked, unless you are done and Keeley wants to go to see the healer." Cela had noticed the bump on the girl's head.

She looked down at Keeley and smiled at her. "You want a glass of water?"

Help? Hearing a familiar and, annoying, voice near by, she turned from the guy who seriously was having some kind of mental issues and looked behind her. Aw Rex. Could this lesson get any better?

"Help her?" she repeated, walking over to them and standing by Rex. "Why don't you duel me instead." Because that would be REALLY fun. Free duel and she wouldn't get into trouble for it.

Eh. Keeley blinked her large blue eyes rather exhausted, but embarrassed that people were so worried. Sure, her head hurt like heck but she would probably be fine. Then her head throbbed rather painfully. Okay, maybe not. "Er- it really wasn't Sarah's fault. I wasn't ready, and I'm kinda small so the spell hit me hard because I'm small and-" Okay.. wayy too much talking. Gah, it made her head hurt. And water. "Oh, er, yes please. If it's not too much trouble or something" Keeley felt that she was asking too much of them.

Gold smiled all happily at Destiny. This girl was so cuute. In a totally Slytherin!shifty way.

"Finite Incantatem," she said, pointing her wand at Destiny's jelly leg. There. Now that leg would be back to normal. "Interesting is not the word," she grinned. "But I guess Professor Duskurk wants us to know how to tackle an opponent who knows more than us." She did not see this working out for herself, though. Mainly because her opponent was THREE, whole years younger.

"It was nice duelling with you." And she really wasn't making that up. Destiny was a nice partner.

Cela conjured a glass and then water, nodding in agreement.

"I understand. I didn't win a single duel until my fourth year, but it didn't stop me practicing a lot." She carefully helped Keeley sit up and offered the glass of water.

"I think thats the point of this lesson." Celandine mused. "Duels aren't fair you know? Its bad to expect that you'll always be evenly matched so its about finding the techniques that work best for you. I'll help you with a few that worked for me when I was younger if you like? After class."

Sidney looks around for a partner. She knows she's not a desireable one. A first year with no realy magical ability and defintely no dueling skills, she would be a good partner for an older student who wanted to look good. Sidnye sees a Gryffindor standing with no partner. He's big must be about a fifth or six year. [I]Professor Duskurk said my partner should be three years older than I. I'm already twelve, so a fifteen or sixteen year old wouldn't be way too old.[I] Sidney walks over her wand still in her holster. "Hello, I'm Sidney Marlow, would you mind being my partner?"

Destiny closed her eyes when Gold pointed her wand at her leg. She didn't know what the feeling would..feel like. But there was nothing. At first she didn't think Gold was really going to fix it, but she wouldn't leave Destiny with a jelly leg. She was too awesome to do that!

She opened her eyes and looked at her leg. Un-jellyfied! 'Oh, thanks!' she beamed as she straightened her leg. She was going to have to learn how to walk again, like a baby or something.

Gold did have a point about the Professor. 'Right. Like now I'll know I'll lose.' Unless she could somehow beat someone while using those cleaning charms. No, she would lose.

'It was nice duelling you too!' If nice was the right word to describe it.

Daniel looked over and saw a Hufflepuff and then he smiled at her. "Hello, sure we can. I have been looking for one, too." he said as he sigh with relief for finding a partner for the practical, but he doesn't want to fail this so he gasp and said to himself, I will not fail this. He then thinks of the spells he have read and the ones he is more familiar with.

"Oh, I am Daniel Kaiser, by the way." he saud and stretched his hand.

Keeley smiled gratefully at Cela. No wonder she was a prefect, she was really nice. But duels weren't. She didn't want to hurt people, not at all, and dueling was a pretty pointless way of doing it. But if she had to, she'd like to know a quick and practical way to go about it. She took the glass, in awe of the magic used to make it, and took a sip. It immeadiately helped unclear her fuzzy mind. "Yeah, but if we have to do them someday, then I'd like to be able to manage one while staying concious. And thank you again, I'm really sorry about it. I'm just really clumsy and I guess I hit the floor too hard."

"Mention not!"

Gold pouted a bit when Destiny said she knew she would lose. "But you have more experience, now," she said encouragingly. "I think we both might have learned something from this duel. I mean, I got to know how butterflies can be a really good distraction. Not to mention, that one should never panic, in a duel. Calm is the key."

She gave Destiny a cheerful smile, then looked around the classroom. Seemed like most of the people had wrapped up their duels. Did that mean this lesson was drawing to a close?

It had better be.

Gold didn't want to duel, again. At least, not with someone all younger than herself.

"I'm ok. Just a little mad that I lost my duel. She got the better of me and I didn't like it." Kay said smiling at Rex. She watch him go to help someone else and just smiled

"Conscious is good." Cela agreed. "You don't need to apologise though, just work on your shielding. Practice makes perfect you know? How's your head, feeling any better? You can just let me know anytime you want to practice some stuff and we'll go to the dueling arena okay?"

Keeley was looking better already and Cela was glad to see it.

Nice to meet you Daniel. I'm not very good a dueling. My brother Harry has played dueling with me, but we could perform the spells. Sorry if I'm not much of a challenge."

Daniel chuckled a little. "That is alright, I haven't done much dueling myself. And as far as dueling is concerned I always play with my mannequins and they dont do much." he said as he thinks that it will be silly if he will lose, but promised to be gentle.

Sidney smiles. Do you think you could show me the right positions. You know that salute thing and the position to begin with. Tiberius and the prefect moved so fast. I missed most of what was going on."
