Why did this class have to be outside? It was December and it was too cold to be sitting out here. Marei pulled her robes around her tighter hoping she would be able to stay warm when she noticed a fire was going. 'Yes, heat' she thought as she took a seat as close to the fire as she could. Looknig around she didn't see Evan yet but she did see the professor. "Hello Professor Morg.... Er, I mean Professor Lawson. How are you today?" Yeah, that was going to take some getting use to, having two Professor Lawsons now.

Barry refused to call this lady Lawson. She was not a man. If he said Lawson then he would keep thinking that Morgan was actually a man. So she`d be Morgan to him. Unless she wanted to be a man. Then that just be disturbing.

Barry walking into the firecircle. Yes! Fire. It was really cold for November. Now he could actually enjoy the lesson. Barry took a seat close to the fire but not in the front row. He hated sitting in the front row. He looked over to the teacher and said "Hello professor Morgan"

Evan officially didn't like creatures. And he didn't like cold. These were two things this lesson included, yet he was still here. What was he doing here again? He definately didn't know, and he was humming to himself on the way. He hadn't even sneezed this year and he didn't want to get cold because of a silly animal lesson where he knew he would fail for sure. Yet he was on his way, and even managed to smile at professor Morgan/Lawson. Spotting Marie, he relieved. There was at least Marie. He went directly to her and sat down. When would this lesson end, again?

It's Professor Lawson now.

Oh, how that sentence made her cringe. Why did it have to be Lawson. Surely any other name would be better then that.

It was hard to get used to calling someone a different name. You can't just spring something like that on someone and expect them to get it right away! Unless the name happened to be totally different that Lawson, then it would be much easier..

'Okay,' she nodded, 'Professor Mor..son.'

Ehh, she would get it right eventually.

Sidney makes it down the hill to where Care of Magic Creatures is taught. She's confused. I thought Professor Lawson teaches Muggle Studies. I didn't know professors could teach more than one course. Oh well, live and learn I aways say. Sidney makes her way down to the fire and finds a woman standing near it. The other students are calling her professer? "Good afternoon, Professor Lawson? My name is Sidney Marlowe, Hufflepuff, First Year. Are you any relation the other Professor Lawson? The one who teaches Muggle Studies?" Sidney finds a seat near the fire. It's a definite chill in the air. She wonders what they are going to study today.

Jake walked slowly down to the care of magical creatures class, with his Dragon-hide gloves on. He was suprised by the cold chill outside. But he saw all the other students that arrived already, and then he saw a warm fire. 'thank you' he thought in his head. "hello Professor" he said to the lady.

Dylan hurried to the lesson. He had forgotten his gloves. So he had to hurry back and get them. Hopefully he wasn't late. Didn't seem so. He smiled, as he spotted Hot Lawson. "Hello Professor," he said approaching the front. He didn't want to be too close, so that he caught fire. But he wanted to be close enough to her.

The professor nodded a greeting to the rest of the students as they arrived and then walked over towards the covered aquarium. "Okay so, let's get started," she began.

"As most of you know... Professor Lawson and I were married over the summer." She shot Destiny an apologetic look and then smiled. No hard feelings? "Not that my personal life matters to you lot, I'm sure," she backtracked, blushing slightly. "But while on our honeymoon, Marcus and I spent the majority of our time traveling through Australia." She did have a point to all of this, she did! "Anyways, while we were there, we were introduced to a very educated man that had spent his life studying the creatures that we will be learning about today."

She grabbed both ends of the blanket and lifted it off to reveal a large, glass aquarium. What was inside resembled a smallish version of the Australian wilderness. "If you look closely, you'll see some brightly-colored insects flying around behind the glass. Can anyone guess what they are?"

Okay, so she overslept again. Or...what sleep she did get. She'd been reading those books again and she just so happened to fall asleep an hour before class. Greeeaaat....

And in the heat of getting down here as quickly as possible, she had forgotten her cloak. Which was a huge, and stupid move since...well just look at the weather! She remembered everything else, just not her cloak. Shivering, and crossing her arms as if that would help keep whatever warmth there was in her body, she stopped running and started walking towards the little group that indicated the class.

"Hello Prof-professss..." And she couldn't speak either. Maybe she had an extra cloak or something? But nope. she already started the lesson. Ugh, married to Professor Lawsguini. Who would do such a thing? Whatever...but this had to do with something in a tank thingy...

Dylan raised his hand, "Are they billiwigs?"

Lucy beamed at Professor Mor--no, no, Professor LAWSON. She had remembered her name!! Well, that put her in a right mood. She grinned back sweetly and watched the other students arrive.
Then she listed eagerly as the professor showed them a tank with colorful insects flying in it. Hmm, Lucy really had no idea what they were. Ahh, but then when the boy spoke, Lucy's mind clicked. Billywigs!

"I think he's right professor--they are Billywigs!" She said excitedly.

Kiri eyed the glass case, and the sample environment contained within. Goodness, did Australia really consist of mostly barren land? It didn't look like a very inviting place for a honeymoon.

She did recognise the long, piercingly blue creatures inside, though. "They're Billywigs, Professor," she said, raising her hand.

Ohhh nooo!

Destiny wanted to cover her ears when Professor Morson started talking about marrying the Lawsonator.

Cringe. Cringe.

Good thing she didn't cover her ears, or she would have missed the question. 'Billywigs?' she asked, raising her hand, of course.

Sylvia raised her hand a bit unsurely. "Are they Billywigs Professor?"

Kay leaned in alittle to see if she could see what the little things were. Were they really insects? Could they be something else? "Professor," Kay said putting her hand in the air. "Are they really insects? They really don't look like it." She said still trying to see what was in the glass. "Could they be billywigs?"

Ivory scrunched her small face in concentration. She knew this one, but her mind seemed slow in forming the words. Trying to picture her textbook in her mind, she slowly took a few deep breaths.
Tentatively, she raised her hand her face in a funny grimace that seemed to give of waves of question marks.
“They seem to be about half-inch long and vivid blue in color so ummm...are they billywigs who are native to there?”

"Ewwww, duhh-don't call him Muhh-marcus," Jake protested, scrunching his nose up a bit. He'd never want to call him by his first name.

Or hear the first names.

Heck, it took him about 3 Hogwarts years to work out teachers didn't all have the name Professor out of pure coincidence.

Heh.

"Buhh-billywigs," Jake stated, hand up and eyes gleaming. "They're in... fuhh-fiiiiizzing whiiiiiizbees..."

The boy gave himself a moment to daydream, and then came back to the present.

"Alledgedly."

Jack examined the colorful bug things that Lawson had revealed, and he wrinkled his dark brows. Aww, billywigs? He had been hoping for something dangerous this lesson! Poooo. Ah well. He raised his hand. "Those would be billywigs, professor." he replied.

He REALLY hoped their stingers had been removed. Stinging insects SCARED HIM.

Pierre looked at the little fluttering things in there. He figured that they were billywigs, but he didn't want to answer such a simplistic question. He refrained from rolling his eyes figuring that this Professor Lawson would scold him like the last one had and Pierre didn't want to relive that.

"Excellent, Dylan!" she exclaimed. "Billywigs is correct."

She smiled at the other students that answered correctly and moved closer to the fire. "Now class, raise your hands and give me one physical charateristic that you can remember, or have read about our little friends in the tank."

Oooh. She knew the answer to this. Grinning, Brody raised her hand. "They are vivid blue in colour Professor." Which was perfectly awesome because blue was well cool.

Bella squezzed though the mob of students in her class, when she finally got a clear view of the tank she peered into it, there were loads of colourful creatures. They look pretty, she thought, but other then the fact they were pretty and colourful she really didnt have a clue what they were. Annoyed at her self she stood to one side and waited for someone else to answer the question.

Pierre raised his hand. "They are a bright blue and color and their sting causes levitation." He knew more about them because his father loved anything and everything to do with Magical Creatures.

Dylan raised his hand, "They are commonly found in Fizzing Whizzbees."

Ivory raised her hand timidly her eyes squinting in observation.

"Well aside from being blue," she let out a small chuckle, "Their wings are found on the upper most part of their bodies and spin rapidly...sort of like a muggle helicopter."
