"Ok I'll go slower my brother is being a jerk so I was trying to get him to stop by talking about all my friends, including you, and he said he saw you and liked you and was all like can you ask her but tell her wait till we're in our third year, I gotta practice, blah, blah, blah, and stuff. Its so weird and like I said before, prepared for the freak out." she whispered, much slower than she was before.

Mina blinked again, trying to understand what was actually being said. She understood the brother being a jerk part fine and the talking about friends. It was the next part that was confusing her.

"Okay, so let me get this straight. You were talking about me and your other friends and then your brother mentioned he saw me? Um, we are in the same year so that's not strange. I mean don't we like see everyone at least once here?" she said as she made movements with her hands. "So he saw me and says he likes me? Like he has a crush on me or something?" Yeah that was odd even for her. She couldn't wait to tell Carter about this.

"Like is trying to ask me out or something, but we have to wait till next year? And practice? What is he practising? Is he going to defend my honour or something?" Oh my, this was really confusing, wasn't it?

Shaking her head, she just stared at her friend. "D, I mean if that's what it is, I don't know what to tell you. It's just craziness!"

Nicoletta entered the seemingly empty class room. Despite being upset, she wad extreamly mad. Like, break something mad. She pulled out her wand and flicked it at a desk. Red sparks came out if the end. Then it hit her, a spell she'd only seen her brother do, but never attempted. It didn't seem hard, just likely to get her into trouble. She pointed her wand at the same empty desk and said through gritted teeth, "Confringo." Nicoletta watched the desk explode in flames.

"yeah we do see each other every year. Seriously, I don't know what he is practicing but it's probably something about getting used to girls. He'll probably hang with me a lot more which is good cuz he is always hanging with other boys but your right! It is craziness! He does have a crush on you and I couldn't tell you in the common room cuz he was right there and so were a bunch of other people! This is so crazy! I still can't believe I said yes to telling you!" it was craziness and this was incredible.

Mina shook her head in disbelief. This was seriously insane. "D, I can't believe you actually told me this." she sighed. Like she didn't have enough on her plate. She wasn't even sure which one was D's brother and she was a bit taken back that someone had a crush on her. "He seriously has a crush on me? Why me?" she said throwing her hands in the air. Once her other friends find out about this, they would seriously have a field day with it.

"I know its crazy but I can either tell him you don't like him which I figured in the start or we could just keep it our little secret and let him move on like he has done with all his other crushes. Your pick." she said. Well, she had no idea what to do.

Mina frowned. She really wasn't sure what she should do. She understood what it was like to have a crush on someone, boy did she. "D, I hardly know him so how am I supposed to know if I like him or not." she bit her lip nervously. "Let's just keep it a secret, for now. Maybe it would work itself out." She just hoped it would. A lot could possible happen in a year.

"Ok, I seriously think that's a great idea. If he asks anything about it, I'll say not now. I know that you said that you were over Carter so I thought there would be no damage in telling you, so I did. If you still liked Carter, I would never had said anything about it." she whispered. She hoped that this whole drama would not effect her friendship.

Mina shrugged and smiled a tiny bit. "We'll just let his crush on me run its course and maybe he'll find someone else to crush on. " she sighed as she wished it would be that simple. Looking at her friend again, her eyes got big. "Seriously, Carter and I are just friends. The whole crush on him was because of that stupid potions. I have no feeling for him, but friendship." She really didn't want to think about it any more. She didn't like Carter like that in a few months. She was completely over whatever she once felt and she was positive about it. "You know I'd be willing to give your brother a chance if I got to know him, so we'll leave it at that."

"OK, the crush will run on and hopefully end by the end of this term. Then he'll find someone else to crush on." she said. Trying to remember the part about Carter she said,"Well Mina, you know I have to believe you because your a best friend, and best friends are always truthful to each other. If we were just friends, then it would be a little harder to believe. Ready to go?" she asked. Being in this classroom was a little creepy.

Mina nodded and felt a little bad for getting so defensive. She just didn't want everyone to keep thinking she held a torch for Carter. That crush had run its course and she wouldn't be lighting that torch again. She was definitely moving on with her life and lack of boys. "We just let him fall out of crush with me and go from there. Like I said, I'd give him a chance if I got to know him." she repeated as she grabbed her bag. Looking around she made a face and turned to the door. "You know this classroom is kind of giving me the creeps."

"OK, I won't tell Damar anything. This classroom is creeping me a little too. Let's go." she said as she picked up her bag. This place was a little creepy, but it was a great place for secrets.

I walk into the classroom and go sit down and stay there. I'm so bored.

Thalia had been wandering around the castle, trying to find a place to think. A place where she could be alone for at least ten minutes. She found an empty classroom on the ground floor. She took out a notebook that had been written through very much. She had all of her songs written in it too.

Besides songs she wrote poetry and her thoughts out. She sat writing what was on her mind just to get it out on paper. What was really on her mind she couldn't tell anyone. Not even her best friend's knew. Sighing, she shut the book and turned so her hands were on her knees, and look of thinking on her face.

Parker was roaming the school, lost in thought over the letter he was going to send. His parents were not going to be happy with the thought of him wanting to come home for Christmas, but he couldn't stay here any longer. He himself wouldn't enjoy going home either. He didn't want to be here now as it is, and he had doubts of returning after Christmas. He would just convince his parents into tutors again. It should be easy.

He came across a classroom and peered inside. Dark, lonely and..Thalia. Debating whether to walk in or walk away, he felt his hand reach for the doorknob. He would listen to his hand and open the door. He walked in and quietly closed the door, she was deep in thought and he didn't want to bother her, which was really odd for him. Slowly walking, Parker sat in the seat next to her. "Hey." he whispered. This was going well.

Thalia barely registered the door opening and someone taking a seat beside her. When she heard the voice she turned to see an all to familiar face. At least he wasn't avoiding her in some manner anymore. She sighed. "Hi," she said to him. "Talking to me again are you? Or are we going to keep avoiding each others faces? In that case, perhaps I should leave."

She stood up and picked up her flowered journal. She knew they were going to have to come face to face with each other someday. She turned on her heel to exit, unsure if he would protest. Maybe she was testing him.

Because she really didn't want to leave.

This was not going well. Parker changed his mind. "What are you talking about? I haven't been avoiding you!" It wasn't necessarily true, but it worked for him for that moment. He hasn't even had the slightest glimpse of her since that day. "You've been avoiding me." he mumbled.

He folded his arms when she stood and headed to the door. He wasn't going to chase her, if that is what she wanted. He was not one to chase people. He did miss her and their bickering though, or maybe he just missed her..

"Wait." he stood and walked over to her, "Don't go."

"Yes you have! I haven't seen your face in almost a week Parker Yorke!" she cried out of frustration. It had sort of been hell even if she wouldn't admit it. She missed him. Missed their arguing of random stuff. Her week had been terrible. First them kissing. Twice. Next getting in a huge fight with Jude. Then something else she couldn't remember. "Fine. We both have been avoiding each other," she came to the conclusion. "But I feel as if you've been avoiding me more than I you."

As she stood their, he couldn't see it but a small smile had appeared on her lips. It vanished just as fast though as she spun around. "You really don't want me to leave?" she asked in fake shock.

She walked back to the desk she had been previously seated a and sat back down. She looked at him in a questioning look.

Parker let her blame it all on him. He didn't care anymore, as long as she was talking to him now nothing mattered. He shrugged, "I figured you would be too busy with Jude." He had to learn his name from Jude himself, Thalia never mentioned it otherwise. He didn't know if Jude had mentioned their little bathroom talk, and it had not gone the way Parker thought it would. For a second there, he was really hoping Jude would knock some sense into him, but that never came.

Parker gave a sigh when Thalia asked him that question. "No, I don't want you to leave." It was the truth though, but the fact that he just admitted it made him almost cringe.

He walked back to the seat he was previously sitting at. Why was she questioning him with her face? "What were you writing?" It was the second first thing that popped into his head.

"I have been busy with him. He has homework though and I'd rather have some peace without his presence disturbing me. I obviously can't get it in the common room or my dorm." Anna usually wanted to talk which didn't bother her but just want her thoughts to herself right now.

She looked down at the journal in her hands and said, "I heard you two met," quietly. Jude hadn't said much. Just he didn't like him and couldn't understand how she put up with him. Her boyfriend couldn't tell her what to think either.

Thalia smiled and looked up with him. She set the book on the table in front of her and hugged him. She pulled away blushing and said, "That was unintentional," aloud to herself. She looked at him and added, "I didn't want to leave either to be honest." She just liked hearing it from him.

What had she been writing? "Oh just some thoughts. For a new song maybe. It's mainly what's been going on in my life. Emotionally," she told him and looked back at the journal. It was somewhat of a mess now from drinks being poured on inside. Or her fingers stained the pages when they were cheesy.

His hands didn't want to turn doorknobs anymore.

It had taken Raiden a second to get a firm grip on the thing and turn it to open the door; pushing it open, he didn't even bother to look at the inhabitants before he dropped to his hands and knees, crawling around on the floor under the desks, looking for the mouse. His tail, sticking straight up in the air, didn't seem to mind all that much that whenever he went under a desk, it had to be pushed down by the edge before it would follow. The tip of it popped back up between the desks, an almost comical sight to anyone in the room as the boy with the kneazle ears crawled around mumbling about a blue mouse.

It was not here. His nose twitched slightly; the room held a lingering scent of something similar to the mouse, but... not the mouse. Nope. Popping up, looking rather frantic, Raiden left the room, moving on to another area to search.

Parker rolled his eyes when Thalia said she has been busy with Jude. Too busy to even acknowledge Parker's even existance. "Homework." Parker snorted. He would have asked how she felt to be put after homework, but they just started talking again. No need to mess it up already.

His face dropped when she mentioned Jude and himself meeting. "Err, yeah. It didn't go too well." It was perfectly clear Jude didn't like him. For what reason, he knew not. Parker didn't like Jude either, only he had a reason.

He smirked to cover up the smile that formed on his face after she hugged him, "You missed touching me?" At least she didn't hit him when she first saw him, even though he would have no reason to get hit, right? He didn't have to tell her again he wanted her to stay. He had a feeling she already knew.

Parker had a feeling those 'thoughts' in Thalia's book were about him. He scooted the chair over some to get a better look at it, and chringed at the sight. It was disgusting. "I think you need a new book. That is dirty."

Was there a catboy in the classroom as well? Parker shook his head, and leaned back to Thalia. The school was crazier than he though.

"Seems that was the big argument we got into," she told him with a shrug. "He just can't get away from it," she sighed and ran a hand through her hair. It was okay. He was a Ravenclaw. She expected it to come from a Ravenclaw. At least she could get him away every now and then.

Thalia rolled her eyes. Great. They both hated each other. "What exactly happened?" she questioned. "Or will you not tell me. Jude thought it better not to," she muttered. Why couldn't he just tell her things like this?

"Maybe," she replied with a mischievous smile. Their kisses did in fact linger in her head every now and then even though she tried to forget them. "Or maybe not," she added after a second thought. Better to keep him guessing right? Besides, she enjoyed kissing Jude.

She shrugged and nodded. "Yeah, I've had it forever. I only have about 10 more pages." Thalia opened it up and flipped all the way to the back. Yep. Ten more pages it was. "Guess I should ask for a new one for Christmas or something," she figured, shutting the book once again. He never needed to see it. Cause most of her heart was poured out in this little book.

Then she noticed some weird kid on the floor sniffing around as if he were a cat. Wasn't he a Slytherin? She shook her head and turned back to Parker.

Parker almost laughed when Thalia mentioned her and Jude's argument. It was a stupid fight if you asked him. "Arguing over homework?" That must have been the reason Jude was sitting on the floor in the bathroom that day. "He is a Ravenclaw.." and that explains a lot.

"Well," he started, "I was in the bathroom and didn't see him crying on the floor." Jude wasn't really crying, but it was funny to mention that anyway. "That might be the reason he didn't say anything..he was crying." he shrugged. He had to make that lie believable. What would Thalia think of Jude if she thought he cried?

It was a good thing it was slightly dark in this classroom, because Parker was now blushing. He turned away from Thalia and 'examined' the room. It was plain, and nothing interesting in it. "Yep." he replied, not really knowing what to say.

"Really?" he asked in a fake shocked expression, "I thought it was brand new!" Parker wouldn't let his house elves touch that book, it was disgusting. "I have an extra book..if you want it." It was green..Thalia liked green, right? Hopefully, she was in Slytherin and all. "I won't use it. It's girly." Why would his mother buy him it? It had a big seashell on it! "It's in my bag."

So, Thalia noticed the cat boy too? "This school is strange." Which was why he was going home. He just needed to tell Thalia, but he didn't know how.

He didn't get it did he? "No we weren't just arguing over homework you idiot," she began, going back to the harsh names. It sounded more like them anyway. "He had been so preoccupied with homework that week I hardly even got a glance from the kid. I mean you and Cesar were perfectly fine by at least saying hello. Or that is until I decided to kiss you," Thalia finished not looking at him. This was something that was not going to go away easily.

She rolled her eyes. "Ha, I highly doubt that. Jude doesn't cry over stupid stuff like that. In fact I rarely see him cry. All we practically do is snog around each other." That was why she needed a break from the kid for a couple of hours. "Not that I don't like snogging but after you do it a few times then you need a break." She actually really liked kissing and it was hard to believe that she ever would. "So besides the fact you just told me a big lie what actually happened? Did you tell him what went down between us?" Thalia asked in a dangerously low tone. Cause if he did, he was dead.

"'Yep'. That's all you're going to say. I bet you enjoyed my lips," she said in a teasing tone. He was probably embarrassed or something because he was avoiding eye contact. Then a sudden question struck her. "Had you ever kissed a girl or had a girl kiss you before I did?" she questioned. Hopefully he had.

"Ha! Very funny. You should know this notebook's more experienced then you are in the outside world," she joked. She hit him very softly with it. "And I swear that if you ever read this your life is going to end sooner than you expected," Thalia stated in a more serious tone. "Okay sure," she figured. This did sort of surprise her.

"No my family is stranger," she muttered softly. Her family was pretty messed up in some parts. Her brown eyes met his blue ones. She held their gaze.
