Ok. Nina was relieved. But she didn't want to trouble her teacher so she'll try her best to make one that lasts.

After so much tapping Allison was slightly annoyed. What if her unicorn rebelled and exploded before she even tapped twice? Wait, one only needed to tap once right? Slightly confused she rose her hand and repeated what everyone else was saying, not really knowing what she was getting herself into. With a distracted voice Allison spoke, "I'll do it!"

Bitting his lip instead and giving a small nod, Sabel figured it was best not to say another word for a few minutes and tapped his wand against the air above his desk like it was a drum, and, he realized was very similar to a prodding ribs motion only up and down instead of sideways. His wand halted when he heard they had to make one for themselves to keep.

Chris heard the Professor say his name. Yay!! The Prefect stood up and with his wand in his hand he walked to the front of the class room to stand beside Kade.

"Hello sir! Ready when you are." he just needed the correct pronunciation, so he didn't hurt that thing. He looked towards the girl the Professor had asked to help with the pronounciation and raised an eyebrow excitedly.

Allison rose her hand, she knew the pronunciation. She knew. She really did know! Or at least her hand raising kept saying that.

Cela, even though the question was directed directly at her, raised her hand all the same.

"Duplicates are, by nature, inherently flawed. Even the best duplicate is often flawed on a microscopic level. If you put muggle science stuff to it, its like some of the... atoms? Those things, shift the tiniest bit out of alignment. Mostly to the naked eye, those flaws aren't noticeable unless you use a charm to identify the copy in the first place. But if you duplicate from a duplicate, the flaws become more and more pronounced. The more copies you make from copies, the less like the original thing they'll be." Cela began cheerfully.

"Also they'll last for even less time; like the strength of the spell will change the percentage of time that the copy will last, based off the original item, which is in theory everlasting or at least it lasts for the lifetime of itself. Each successive copy of a copy will result in percentage of a percentage and so on in regards to time. A copy from a duplicate, lasts for less time than a duplicate from an original." She smiled at Professor Kade.

"Of course its only a copy in appearances, not in behaviour. You cant duplicate magical things of course, well you could make a timeturner, say, but it wouldn't actually work as one. Also any charms or curses on an item aren't duplicated. Magical effect can't be duplicated."

Oh, he wanted her to give the correct pronunciation. Well this was her time to show that she knew what she was doing, or at least show that she knew how to pronounce the incantation correctly.

"The correct pronunciation of Geminio would be je-MIN-ee-oh."

Yes, that was it.

"A point for Slytherin." Kade nodded, "You heard her, Mr Potter, when you're ready, Jeh-MIN-ee-oh."

Emily tapped her desk. She heard the Slytherin girl ay the pronunciation. She stopped tapping and whispered, "Geminio." She was so quiet nobody could hear her. hen she waited for the boy up front to say it.

He wondered if she could belch a textbook. See THAT would have been impressive.

"Absolutely right Miss Toussaint. One point." Ug, how annoying was that? "It's a very good thing that the person who gave me that unicorn was CRAZY, and gave me 73 others." One for each day they knew each other.

Kade shuddered at the memory and kicked open a trunk at the side of his desk. It was a sea of pink unicorns inside.

"Everyone come up here, grab a pink unicorn, and start practicing your Geminio," he instructed.

OOC: okay guys, practice practice for a while. i need to eat and rest and stuff. I shall return. and NO CHATTING!

'Yeah, Slytherin got a point' Marie thought as she watched Chris attempt to duplicate the pink thing.

Nina hurried forward to the trunk and grabbed a unicorn before returning to her desk.

She looked it over for a while, it's face, body, legs, feet, tail, and horn.

Ok. Now time to duplicate. I guess the only reason Professor Kade disliked it was because he had so many. Anyone could grow sick of anything if they had to many. Except perhaps dogs. And goats.

She cleared her throat, "Geminio" she said clearly, tapping the unicorn sharply with her wand, as Professor Kade instructed.

Nina saw a flash of pink next to the unicorn, but it was gone in less than a millisecond...

Ok. Not bad. It's only my first time.

She tried again, "Geminio."

For some reason she felt like the more loudly she said the spell, the more effective it would be.

Yet, once again, she saw nothing more than a flash of pink. If there even was a flash of pink. Maybe her optimism was only imagining the pink, and she really hadn't gotten anywhere at all...

Stepping up to the front, Jake grabbed hold of one of the fuzzy pink unicorns and took it back to his desk. Plonking the creature onto the surface, Jake looked straight at it and shook his head solemnly. "I'm ssssso sssssorry about thuhh-this," he murmured to it, giving it a pat on the head.

Poor thing.

Wait... didn't that mean they already had one available for the next lesson...?

Pointing his wand at the little toy, and feeling very evil as he did so (POOR THING!) Jake cleared his throat. "Jeh... Jjjjjeh-muhh-minyo.."

Yeah, nothing.

Focusing on the word in his head, Jake realised he'd also forgotten to tap the thing. He muttered the word to himself over and over so he wouldn't stutter when he cast the spell, and finally, pointed his wand at the unicorn for a second go.

"Jeh-MIN-ee-oh."

Tap!

And all that happened was that the thing was shrouded in a pink cloud of smoke.

A strange EEP! noise came from Jake as he tried to waft the smoke away. The pooooor pooooooor thing...

Kay watched as Chris tried the spell. It was great that it worked, but at least it didn't stay long. Kay walked up to the front of the room, picked up one of the scary pink unicorns. She walked back to her desk and thought why pink. Pink as not her favorite color in anyway. Pointing her wand at the pink scary thing. "Geminio." and did the tap movement. So two of the scary things. Well for a few minutes anyway. Kay was happy that it had worked, but didn't last. With a sigh she would have to try again.

Marie went to the front of the room to get her own pink unicorn to practice on. Really, why couldn't they be green?
Sitting back down she looked at Evan and said, "You better go get one, wouldn't want to miss out now would you?" Not that there would be a chance of that since the professor had so many of them. Why would one person have so many of these things?

Barry walked up to the desk and took a Unicorn. He couldn`t care less that it was pink. It wasn`t like he was going to keep it forever. A few weeks at most.

Barry raised his wand and pointed it at the Unicorn and said "Gemino!" Then a duplicate appeared! Yeah! Barry spent a minute looking at other peoples Unicorns before looking back at his.

Sigh. It was gone. Barry raised his wand to try again

Her frown never disappeared when she grabbed the unicorn. It never vanished when she practiced her wand movement, it didn't even 'transfigure' into something worse like a scowl when she thought je-MIN-ee-oh, over and over again in her head. Pointing her wand with threat towards the unicorn she her frown deepened, "Jeh-min-e-o!"

Immediately one other unicorn appeared beside it. Allison was about to cheer when she heard a slight poof and all of them disappeared. Closing her eyes and begging for patience she tried once more. Quit tap and "Je-MIN-e-o!"

Suddenly another unicorn appeared. This time she held her breath and counted. 5 murderous seconds passed! Dreadful. Breaking her concentration for the sake of everyone around her she observed her friends around her.

Smiling as Marie got another point for Slytherin, her smile dropped to a frown of horror when she saw a whole trunk full of PINK! unicorns. Ehhhh...

Standing up and slowly walking towards the trunk, she picked up a unicorn by it's leg and held it out slightly in front of her as if it were a disease. A disease of PINK. Would the professor be angry if she turned it green? The unicorn part she didn't care for.

Sitting back down, Evelyn placed the ugly horrible unicorn in front of her and scowled at it. Bleh. Raising her wand, she tapped the unicorn and mumbled a confident, "Geminio." It seemed to work, as the unicorn duplicated itself, but then the second copy seemed to have disappeared as quickly as it came. WHAT?! Ugh...

Tap. "Geminio!" she said a little more louder this time. Aaaand...it stayed! She kept her eyes on the pinkness with an unblinking gaze. Although, her hazel eyes started to water up and burn since it was getting harder and harder to keep them open, but she HAD to blink, finally. Rubbing her eyes, she blinked a few times and went back to staring at the unico- UGH! It was goooone!

"You, will, staaay." she glared at it before tapping it one more time, holding back her anger and said, "Geminio!" IT....will...stay! Whether it wanted to or not! She watched the second copy, and waited...juuust daring it to disappear.

Destiny's eyes widened as the Professor man open the trunk. It was FULL of pink unicorns!! OMGEEEE! Would the Professor allow her to just hop in there with them? Probably not, but that would have been AMAZING! Besides, after she learned this spell, she could totally use the spell and do it herself. She could swim in as many unicorns she wanted to.

She walked up to the trunk and picked the best looking unicorn. Well they were all the same, but hers was the best, no matter what anyone said. Skipping back to her desk, Destiny rolled up her sleeves. 'Don't worry, this won't hurt,' Maybe it would, but unicorns could, like, heal themselves, right? Taking out her wand, Destiny lightly tapped the unicorn right on its horn, 'Geminio.'

She was excited to see that it had worked! It worked on the first time. Just as she was about to pick it up and cuddle it show it to Evelyn, it had vanished! Whaaaat? Trying again, Destiny tapped the horn a little more forcefully this time, 'Geminio!' It was baccccck! But again it didn't stay. Resisting the urge to pick up the unicorn and throw it out the window, she sat back in her seat and folded her arms. These unicorns were ugly..now.

Observing the Gryffindor prefect closely, Evan got the idea. He then heard Marie's whisper and nodded absent-mindedly, and went up to grab an ugly unicorn. He pulled out his wand and tapping it, said "Geminio." Another one popped up and stayed there for a while. He was about to shout with joy and jump when it started to get paler and paler... his face started to drop in direct proportion with the speed of paleness. And it eventually vanished, leaving Evan in a sad face. Why couldn't he get a spell at first try?

Gathering all of his confidence again, he tried for twice, all vanishing in a minute. Second one stayed a little bit longer than the first one, though. So that meant progress?

Nina watched her classmate's attempts. There's seemed to last longer than hers.

I'm just not concentrating enough. There's no one else in the room. Just you and me little unicorn.

"Geminio!" She exclaimed, concentrating hard on the fact that there will be two when the incantation was completed.

As she watched, she saw another flash of pink. But this time she could clearly make out a horse-shaped outline.

Yes! Good. Again!

Still concentrating hard, "Geminio!"she repeated.

And again a flash of pink, and the outline of the unicorn. The more she tried the more details she could make out.

So it's true. Practice will make perfect.

"Geminio!" She said once again as the unicorn definitely appeared before vanishing almost a full second and a half later.

Arya ran up and grabed a unicorn excitedly before runing back to her seat beside Allison. Carfully placing the unicorn on her desk she practiced the wand movement the wand movement again.

Before she finally closed her eyes, concentrating hard on duplicating the unicorn the Kade had hated oh so much.With a small smirk she Taped the wand once more accompanied with the magic words, "Geminio!"She opened her eyes ever so slowly to see no one but two pink unicorns facing her.

Her eyes wide open now, she smiled at her accomplishment. This victory was sadly short lived for the duplicate unicorn had suddenly dissapeared. Frowning she repeated the spell this time with more power. Tap."Geminio!"And the twin unicorn was back. It lasted a minute longer than the previous before it too dissapeared. Sighing she began her continuous practice of the spell. Trying her best to make it last longer than its preceder.

Carter grabbed a unicorn up front and then returned to his desk. He tapped it and said "Jeh-MIN-ee-oh". A duplicate unicorn appeared... and then dissapeared instantaneously. He tried it again. This next one stayed up a few minutes. He gathered his confidence and tried again. "Geminio" he said clearly tapping the unicorn. Another one appeared and it looked pretty solid. He watched the duplicate while also keeping an eye on his watch to see how long this one would stay.
