James wandered through the halls of the train, still mesmerized by all the pretty sights. As a second year, he still didn't know very many people, so he wasn't sure where to sit. He continued down the small hallway between compartments, looking in each and every one without really paying attention to where he was going. As a result, he managed to bump into a much taller and older student. Frightened that this boy, no man, would harm him in some way, he immediately cried out, "Oh, I'm sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going. Completely my fault. I'll pay more attention next time." He winced and tensed his shoulders, getting ready for any spell, jinx, or hex. Opening one eye, he managed to squeak, "Please don't hurt me?"

Roxanna walked onto the train with her backpack safely on her shoulders and a quibbler under her nose reading an interesting article about a crumple horned snorchak sighting in England. The rest of her belongings were all safely stored by her older brother in the luggage compartment. Roxanna was excited about meeting new people and the whole going to Hogwarts but she just wanted to finish the article. She was afterall good at multitasking.

Walking without looking where was on probably wasn't the best thing that the short blond 11-year old could do on a packed train, but it wasn't she who had baught the Quibbler in the first place. Roxanna continued reading and walking quite oblivious to her surroundings until she walked straight into someone which made her tumble backwards with a cried "WHA-t??" before she landed uncomfortably with a "THUD!" on the floor. Her newspaper flew out of her arms hitting someone in the head.

Chris was suddenly knocked off balance by a young student. As the boy winced and professed his innocence, Chris could only stare down at him. Then, he laughed. "Its alright," he said, ruffling the boy's hair. "No harm done... I'm used to being mistaken for a wall- I'm just glad you hit me instead of it!" he said with a laugh.

Suddenly, Chris was hit from his other side. What? Did he have a target on him today? THat thought just made him laugh even more. Especially as the newspaper hit the other little boy in the head. He wrapped an arm around his stomach, trying to stop the pain from his laughter. "Well, this has been an interesting first day... are you both alright?" he asked, extending a hand to the young girl that had fallen down. She looked to be exactly the same age as his little sister, who was still back in the states. However, she would be coming next year, probably to the same school.

James was still wincing for a bit until he realized what the tall man's words meant. So he wasn't in trouble. Whew! That took a load off his shoulders! He was just calming down when someone else ran into the tall man. She had been reading some sort of newspaper, which suddenly came out and hit James in the head. "Ouch!" he cried involuntarily, stepping backwards. He immediately put his hand up to his head, checking the area for bruises, swellings, or anything of the sort. Realizing there was nothing wrong and that it was really just a newspaper, so why was he acting so silly, James bent down and picked up the newspaper. He went over to the girl and handed it to her saying, "I believe you dropped this."

Avery Isabella Grace headed to the back of the train and looked for a place to sit. She hoped she could make some friends.

Avery had ivory skin that was smooth and flawless. Her features were angular and angelic. Her eyes were icy blue, but now they are hazel because of her colored contacts. She chopped her thigh legnth hair off so it was down to her shoulders. She dyed her hair red with blond lowlights. Avery was different from everyone else. She was unique.

"It's nice to met you Lis." Kay said looking out the window. "So, Have you been sorted into a house yet. I mean being a new student." Kay asked

Elisabeta smiled and said "Yeah i got sorted into Slytherin before i left Romania for London where my new home is"

When Roxanna landed on the floor she bruised a knee and her butt. It was though not exactly the place to cry but she as she touched her right knee she winched considerably "Ouch!". After checking herslef for other injuries she raised her blond head to look up at the tall figure that she had walked into. It was infact a very much older student.

Feeling ashamed since she knew that it was her fault to begin with she stammered out "I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going. I didn't see you. Erm are you all right?" Clambering to her feet she dusted off her skirt giving the older boy a weak smile "I'm okey. I bruised a knee and my butt but otherwise i'm all right."

Now where was her Quibbler issue? Searching the floor around her Roxanna was soon stopped by another boy who handed her back her newspaper. Realizing that this boy could have been hit in the head by her newspaper she gave him an apologetic look saying. "Erm, thanks! Sorry, If my newspaper hit you, when I walked into him." she said pointing to the very much older boy "I tumbled backwards and the newspaper flew out of my grasp.. So sorry if i hurt you." Opening up the quibbler on the correct page again she scanned the page for the crumpled snorshack notice.

Avery saw her friend Kay and waved at her.

Chris had to cover his mouth to keep from laughing. If this was how Hogwarts was going to be, he wasn't sure that he was going to be able to concentrate in his classes. "Come on, lets find a compartment so that no more injuries may befall any of us," he said with a grin.

Christ smiled down at her and retracted his hand that he had offered. "No harm done here," he assured her. "Believe me it happens- I have a younger sibling who has run into me for years. This was no different, and quite better than, some of those collisions," he said with a laugh. "I'm Chris, by the way... I just transferred from The Salem School in New England," he said, extending a hand to the two young students.

"Nice to meet you Chris. I'm James Henry Stapleton. New England? But, isn't that in America?" James asked, noting his strange accent. He followed Chris to an apartment, hoping to hear exciting stories about America, the strange country.


"That's quite alright. My name's James by the way. James Henry Stapleton. What's your name?" he asked the girl. She looked to be a bit younger than him, so James guessed she was a First Year.
James looked over to see what it was the girl had been reading. He managed to see The Quibbler before she started ruffling through. The Quibbler was a funny magazine. James liked reading it. "The Quibbler, eh? Better than the funny pages, don't you think? I laugh every time I read it!" James said, trying to make conversation.

"Wow, Romania. Is it nice there?" Kay asked. She had never been outside of the UK.

"Hi, Avery. Would you like to Sit with us?" Kay asked as she moved closer to Rex to make room.

Jake nodded in reply to the question about the summer. He had wanted to correct Ty on his stating that they were both in the same year, but it didn't really matter. It seemed that this Rex kid was a transfer... he certainly didn't look or act like a first year.

"N-n-nnno," Jake shrugged one shoulder and drummed his fingers on his leg for a moment. "I wwwwas grounded. Listen," he stood himself up and for some reason put his sunglasses back onto his face, looking at... whoever had come in here by now. "I'm guhhh-ggggonna go llllook ffuh-fffor someone... Sssee you guys lllater."

And with a last tight smile to both of them, Jake wandered off, heading straight for the food trolley. Sugar definitely seemed like a good idea.

Elisabeta smiled at Kay and said "Yeah it is very beautiful in Romania but i moved to London now so this country is now my home"

"Pleasure to meet you James," Chris said with a smile. He moved through a group of students, nodding a hello as he passed through and found an empty compartment. "Yes it is," he said with a grin. "Just transferred- my Mom has business here and I'm checking out the school before my sister moves over here from the States," he explained.

"Hey Kay. Sure., Avery said as she sat down. She felt like an intruder.

"Hello i'm Avery", Avery introduced herself.

Elisabeta smiled at Avery and said "Hi Avery nice to meet you, I am Elisabeta but you can call me Lis"

Oh thanks merlin. She hadn't managed to hurt him. As he spoke of his younger siblings collisions Roxxy couldn't help but laugh warmly "Really? Well I'll take that as a compliment then. I've run into my older brother Sebastian for years but he has always said that i've hurt him." Why did she think of Sebsatian now? Weird maybe it was because he had been the one to see her off on the station. As the older boy introduced himself as Chris from New England she made big eyes "Salem??? Is that in like America?" Remembering her manners a bit lite she shook his outstretched hand saying "Pleasure to meet you, Chris! I'm Roxanna. Roxxy for short."

Roxxy let out a big sigh of relief as the younger boy who introduced himself as James too was unscatched. Smiling brightly at him she said "Pleasure to meet you James! I'm Roxanna or Roxxy for short.." Looking a little closer at James she judged him to be around her age but wasn't sure which made her ask "James, In what year are you in? You look about my age but not really."

She was about to draw her attention back into the Quibbler again when she heard James comment. Glancing over at him Roxxy nodded "Yep, it's the Quibbler.. Funny pages??" The last was said with some confusion. What funny pages were James referring to? Puzzled she turned back to Chris saying "Yes, let's find a compartment. The train must start moving soon."

''BACK OFF people!!! JOSH has COMEEE!!'' the cheerful boy yelled for no apparent reason. Just overly energetic and confident as typical of Joshua Carter to be. Pulling his large trunk as if he was carrying a shopping basket, he marched in the corridor to find himself an empty or full of people compartment or a complament to empty it with his own hands or to fill it with people with his own hands. Whatever occured to him spontaneously.

Victoria was sitting with Bonnie and Thomas, when a second year come shouting down the corridor.

"That's nice. I have an uncle who moved to America. I want to visit him sometime, but my mum says it's too dangerous to go alone, and she's not getting on a plane anytime soon. Anyway, what's the school like there? And have you already been sorted?" James asked. He had so many questions. His uncle had never been very good at describing things.

"Nice to meet you, Roxxy. Oh, I'm a Second Year. Are you a first year?" James asked, wanting to see if he had guessed correctly.
"Oh, right. See, my uncle lives in America, and he likes to send me the American newspapers sometimes. The best part is the funny pages. That's the section with all the comic strips on it. My favorite one is called "The Wizard of Id." Of course, it's not about real wizards, but it's funny none-the-less." James explained.

"Its a pleasure to meet you Roxxy," he said with a bright smile. "And its definitely a compliment," he added with a wink. It would be nice to have some younger company, and he would have to make sure he wrote to his sister about the possible friends she could have in her next year. He laughed at Roxxy's statement. "That's an older brother's way of saying he loves you," he said with a grin. "I always said the same thing to my sister. I even convinced her that I broke a bone once," he continued with a laugh.

He nodded in confirmation of his school's location. "Yes, it is," he said, grinning proudly. "That's where the strange accent is from!" He nodded in agreement the finding of a compartment. "Does this one work?" he asked, opening up a door.

Chris laughed as he heard another boy announce himself. "I'll be out of the way... I've been run into one too many times already!" he called to the boy with a laugh.

Fia glanced to the compartment where she placed the book and the back to Mile. "It's...a book on poetry," she spoke gently, her lips smiling as she heard the next part. She breathed a sigh of relief, glad to hear that he had missed her and now it was her turn to speak.

"I don't think I've ever been away from you for that long," she said with a crack in her voice. "I...don't know how to handle myself without you.". At least when they were friends they were still around each other and she would do anything to at least be his friend if nothing more. She loved him dearly but she was willing to place all emotions aside if she needed too.

"Nice to meet you, lis. You have a very pretty name", Avery said.

Avery laughed as a younger boy shouted as he walked down the aisle.

"Bye Jake. See you later." Kay call as Jake ran from the compartment.

"Well I glad you are here, and you'll love London." Kay said to her new friend.

"I'm glad you find us. Did you remember everything. I have a Feeling I left something at the Castle." Kay said running her list through her head. Looking at Avery. "Are you felling ok?" Kay asked as Avery looked uneasy.
