Mikaela saw that Bonnie was hiding something, but didn't bring it up.
"Nothing, I just went to New York to visit my grandparents," Mikaela said. "So, you excited about the new year?"

Bonnie raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, I am! Because I love homework!" the sarcasm was heavy in her voice. She sighed. "Are you?"

"Sure, why not?" Mikaela said and shrugged. Not that she had a choice. But sure, she'd gotten some new friends and was happy.
"So, how're your parents?" Mikaela said and glanced out the window.

"Umm..." Destiny's grandmother was definitely weird. Good thing she didn't go to her house after Diagon Alley then. Shaking her head to get that strange image out of her mind, she leaned back on the seat, placing her head on the cushioned wall. Laughing, she wondered just how many cats her friend's grandmother had to think that Destiny stole one of them. "Sounds like...fun."

Anything interesting happen to her? "Not really. Cleaned...again. Pretty much it. Oh!" Yes! Something interesting did happen. "I don't have No-Name anymore! Well no, I do, but he's not mine. And his name isn't No-Name either. I gave him to my little brother since the owl was annoying me to death, and apparently, that owl likes boys better." That was not a happy day when she saw those two messing around with each other like long lost buddies. "He named him Zeus." She had to admit, she admired her brother's naming of pets, but that was pretty much it.

Victoria was walking down the train looking for somewhere to sit, she was excited about starting her third year at Hogwarts.

If that was Evelyn's definition of fun then something was seriously wrong with her. 'Loads of fun.' she said sarcastically. Destiny's parents got a mouth-full when they showed up. And the worst part was, they actually believed her! Well, not the part about missing for three months and stealing the cat, but all the other made up stories, totally believed her. How could the believe a batty old woman like that!!?

Why didn't Evelyn like to clean? Destiny would take cleaning over spending time with her grandmother. Ooo, but then Evelyn had good news! 'How are you going to send letters now?' If Destiny still had Travis, Evelyn would have been able to use him, but as she had absolutely no idea where the owl was at the moment..that would be hard. 'A good name too! Greek Mythology.' Her parents would always bring her books on the Greek gods when they went to their conventions. 'My middle name is from Greek Mythology.' Just don't make her say it..it sounds like she is coughing up a hairball. 'Stupid parents and their stupid name.'

Nancy was walking - no more dragging her feet across the floor - down the aisle at the very back of the Hogwarts Express with a rather sour look plastered across her face. How could he?! How could he have forgotten about their date?! Because that was the only reasonable explanation for his not showing up, right? That he had forgotten. Guh! Well, she was going to find him and then he would wish that he had NOT forgotten about her...

First she needed to find a compartment, though, for her and her new baby-kneazle...which she had had no time to find a name for. Shame on her. Clutching the ginger furball closer to her chest the 16 year old peeked into every compartment she passed in search for either and empty one or at least a familiar face. Without much success. Oh, great, this day was only getting better. NOT. At last she found a compartment with only a small girl - presumably a first year - sitting in it. "Hey! Are these taken?" Nancy asked the girl upon opening the compartment door.

Was she serious? "Who in the world am I going to send a letter to?" Not her Uncle since her owls always came back with the same letter. Apparently they couldn't find him. Plus, what in the world would she send her parents? A heartfelt letter saying she missed them? Pfft. The day she did that would be the day Lawson would teach...Muggle Studies or something.

Okay okay. So her brother was better at picking out names. Sighing, she crossed her arms, glancing at the snake for a moment before looking back to her friend, wondering why she wasn't freaking out like she usually did. 'Maybe the snake is growing on her?' That would be nice, so she didn't have to hide him most of the time. Now, something about Greek Mythology...eh. "What is your middle name by the way?" Did Destiny ever say? She couldn't remember...

Riiiiight. Evelyn didn't really like her family to write letters to them. And if she did she could use the school owls. Poor owls. They never got that much attention. Destiny would visit them owls everyday. Yep, keep them company. 'We are both owl-less.' Destiny likes it better that way, she didn't enjoy receiving letters anyway. Presents on the other hand..but no one sent her presents. Ah well..

Oh. Next time Destiny didn't want to elaborate on something, she should just keep her mouth shut. Maybe she could make up a middle name... Ehhhh, by the time she would come up with something convincing, Evelyn would be suspicious. Silly suspicious Slytherin. 'Hekate.' Destiny was sure she saw a ball of fur fly out as she said that, 'That's my middle name.' but at least it means something cool, 'It's the goddess of magic.' No need to ask Evelyn her middle name..

She saw a compartment with some second years, she didn't know to go and find her friends or make some new friends.

"Am... okay." Bonnie shrugged, fresh tears rising in her eyes.

She then noticed Victoria and waved.

Victoria saw Bonnie and waved back, she saw that she had tears in her eyes. She walked in and asked "Are you ok?"

Bonnie gasped and quickly wiped away the tears. "Yeah, fine! You?"

"You are owl-less? What happened to that one owl you had?" she asked, watching an older girl outside their compartment. She looked kinda lost to tell the truth, which was weird. Was she older? Maybe the same age, or not.

Her attention though was snapped back to Destiny when the girl said her middle name. "I...am so sorry." Evelyn said as sincerely as possible, fighting to keep a straight face. Taking a few deep breathes, she nodded at the explanation of the meaning and smiled. "Well, at least it means something cool, huh?" For a moment, she almost lost it, but a little giggle did escape. Clearing her throat, she looked everywhere but her friend, because if she did, she surely would laugh.

"Hmm..." They got the whole 'how was your summer' thing down already, what else was there to talk about? Aw, there was an idea. "Do you remember, in Diagon Alley, when we were speaking with Marcus?" Yea, she was totally going to use that name from now on. "He said something about a hated list. We should make one."

"I am good thanks, my aunt got married and she is going to have her first child", she was worried about her friend.

Bonnie smiled. "Was the wedding nice?"

'He flew out the window.' And that was what happened. He flew out the window and never came back. It wasn't Destiny's fault though. If her grandmother hadn't scared the Bertie beans out of her, she would have never dropped his cage. 'Ehh,' she shrugged, 'he was old.' Maybe not as old as Destiny thought he was, but he was up there on the age list.

'Do you think that name is funny?' Destiny put on her pretend serious face. Could she change her middle name? Or maybe just not use it? That's an idea.. Not able to hold her serious face any longer, Destiny laughed. 'Just laugh already. Your face is turning red!' That's why she never told anyone before, well except on the homework. But the Professor's don't judge on names..maybe Lawson..but he wasn't a Professor. He was a St. Mungo's escapee.

'Marcus? Who is--Oh, right. Marcus.' At least Destiny's middle name wasn't as bad as Lawson's first name. Ha, Marcus! 'A hate list? Like putting things down that we hate?' Well that would be..interesting. 'I hate the Whomping Willow..Unless you don't mean things?' Knowing Evelyn, she was not talking about things to put on that list.

"It was beautiful, it was at their villa in Italy", she was glad to see a friend. She had missed them during the holidays.

Bonnie smiled warmly.

"How was your holiday?" she asked her, she had read the library book on animagi and wondered when she could start her lessons.

"He flew out the windooow..." Aaaand? That was it? He flew out the window. She wished her owl would have done that. Than she wouldn't be stuck looking at him everyday when he was right in front of her face. Literally. Her brother would stick him...right...in front...of her face. Ugh. "Oh. Maybe you'll get a new owl." But she already had a cute kitten. A cute kitten who was quite fashionable.

"Maybe." she said in a serious tone, her expression still blank and emotionless. Her face was turning red? Well she was fighting really hard to not laugh, but when Destiny said it was okay to do just that, she stared at her friend for a moment, testing the waters. Slowly, a few chuckles and giggles escaped until finally she couldn't handle it anymore. "He...hekkkkaaaate." Holding her sides, she fell sideways onto the seat, laughing until she couldn't laugh anymore and her eyes filled up with tears.

Calming down, she sat back up and put on the serious and blank expression again, wiping away a tear that slowly fell. "No I don't mean things." That would be entirely too boring. Of course she knew what she hated and what Destiny hated. They didn't need to write it down. "I meant people. We could write their names down and like...curse the parchment or something so whenever they talk to us, they go and confess their love for a professor or something." It would be interesting to see someone do that to Kazi... Or Bunz.

"Good, you?" Bonnie asked.

Vivianne boarded the Hogwarts express, excited to go back to Hogwarts for her sixth year. She made her way at the back of the train and found an empty compartment. WHew!!! Students were busy chatting again with friends and she couldn't help but feel sad as she entered the compartment alone. She flipped her brunette hair and sat at the corner near the window. She bid goodbye to her parents and Natalia at King's cross. Her mother feared the platform and she never wanted to go through it. What's been bugging her even before vacation ended is the fact that she and that man he met at Diagon alley, Alex. They haven't had a good talk because she just had to leave without any word at all as they both enjoyed their ice cream.

She leaned her head on the window and watched students dash to and fro outside her compartment. She sighed, she never had many friends. And she wished, she had someone to talk to.

Cedric was walking toward the back of train, in search of a compartment he could occupy. He needed to be quick or else, he would run out of time and all of the compartments of the train would be snagged by people. Smiling smugly, Cedric continued walking, hoping that he would finally found an empty compartment. He's passed many compartments but it was all full of chattering students and all. He nearly had reached the back of the train when finally, he found an empty compartment nearby. He immediately entered the compartment, closed the door, then sat happily.

Becca stepped up to the back cars and trudged up the stairs with her trunk. Finding an empty compartment was a lot easier in the back cars than in the front, because less people were here. Becca stepped inside one and shut the door. Taking her jacket off, she set it down on a seat with her bag and threw the trunk over her head and onto a luggage shelf. Then, out of her bag she produced Hamlet and began to read from where she had left off last yesterday.
