Jude chuckled at the girl's bubbly personality. It was hard to get used to at first but he seemed to be getting the handle of it.

"Yeah, my OWLs year. A bit nervous for them to be honest." he admitted, letting his guard down a little. This was a bit unorthodox for him, especially since arriving in this new country where he knew nobody save his father, step mother, stepsister and governess who had been with Jude since birth.

"I'll turn 16 in July too!" Jude said a little awestruck that he had found someone who had a July birthday as well. Everyone in his family was born in winter so he was the odd man out.

"My favorite subject would have to be Charms or Transfiguration. I am really interested in patronuses and animaguses." he explained with a nod of his head and ran his fingers through his hair casually.

"I transferred from a school in Australia." he didn't even mention the name because nobody had heard of the school in England. It was so strange to him that none of the countries were really close. But he had heard that France, England, and another school located in the colder part of Eastern Europe were really close.

"What about you? What is your favorite subject?"

"Im a second year of the same, And sure you can join us"
"yeah sure you can" Emily said taking Jelby out of his cage, he sneezed and his pink fluff ruffled as Emily handed him to Bella. "you should get one you know they aen't much money."

"Oh don't be." Celandine smiled comfortingly, all big eyed assurance and cheerful smiles. "I was nervous too, I had to get top marks in order to come back to Hogwarts, else I'd have had to be homeschooled, which would mostly be like how to host a dinner party and be good at conversation with all sorts of guests and stuff, nothing fun like this." She tapped her experimental spells book which wasn't strictly curriculum either, but then she'd always been one to do extra research just for funsies.

"Ooooh so I'm like, a whoooooole year older than you." Cela pointed out cheerfully. Teehee. "I'm on the 25th, so I'm a Leo. Rawr." She did the little claw motions and everything.

Her eyes absolutely lit up.

"ZOMGcharmsandtransfigurationaremyfavouritesubject stooooooo!"

Yay! Favourite subject!twins.

"Ohhh one of our Professors taught at some... Australian something school." Celandine offered. "Professor Lawson. Ummm. Professor Marcus Lawson." Since Professor Morgan wasn't Professor Morgan anymore, but a Professor Lawson toooo. Phew! Confusing!

"Aside from Charms and Transfiguration, I absolutely loooooove Defense Against the Dark Arts. Really any subject that has wandwork. I'm really good at it. I can do non-verbals already because Professor Lawson and Professor Kazimeriz taught me sooo much and I'm already super good at stuff anyway."

Hmmm what else?

"Ooooh and I like Divination and Ancient Runes a whoooole lot too."

Cesar todded the halls of the train lunging behind him his trunk. He peered inside each compartment as he passed looking for one which suited his liking. He witnessed a few compartments pregnant with people busy in a loud chatter. "fools, idiots, gits" he would mumble to himself as he passed those certain compartments. Finally he came to one which was almost empty. There was one boy looking out a window, who had left the compartment door open. Cesar plopped down across the boy after putting his trunk in the carrier and held out his hand. "Im Cesar, and you are?"

Jude noticed that the girl seemed to like that she was older, perhaps it mad e her feel more mature as well?

"Yeah, I was born on July 16th so I'm a Cancer." Jude explained with a weak grin. "It definitely explains my love for water and everything to do with it." he added thinking back to when he was in Australia where he had to be literally dragged out of the water at the end of the day because it was too dark to see his friends.

Jude simply cracked up at Cela's utter excitement about school and the fact that they liked the same subjects. "That's very interesting Cela, perhaps if I need help with anything this year for OWLs, you'd be able to help me out?" he asked in a hopeful tone.

It would definitely be worthwhile to have someone help him practice his spells and theories who already had experience.

Sebastian had yet to change into his dreadful school uniform and therefore was getting some rather awkward looks because of it. Oh, as if he cared. If people thought he was weird for remaining in his fashionable, quality clothes instead of changing into that piece of clothing that itched him everywhere ... pfft. They were even worse than Sebastian had imagined.

Trying very hard not to collide with anyone walking the corridor, the sixteen year old peered into the different compartments, looking for an empty one. He was definitely not going to sit with some unknown person. Who knew what could happen?

But once he reached the end of the carriage, he realised that maybe there wasn't any free compartment. Well, wasn't that just a bother! Sebastian Whitcomb would not lower himself to the level of these creatures by talking to them and sharing a space with them! No, sir.

He would go to the power. And the power in this train were ... the prefects.

"Ooooh a Cancer. So you are all like, sensitive and stuff. Deep emotions and all that." Cela nodded matter-of-factly, her brother was a Cancer tooooo. "Cancers are pretty good at potions because of the water thing."

She leaned forward, eyes wide and serious.

"Want-to-know-a-secret-and-it-doesn't-matter-if-you-don't-because-I'm-going-to-tell-you-anyway?" She paused heavily, "I've nearly drowned three times and I'm a bit scared of drowning now."

As you would be, as you would be.

"Oh of course I can help you! I have to be helpful anyway on account of this." She flicked her prefect badge and it made a little 'ping' sound. "But I always help people if they need help anyway, especially if it helps me practice stuff."

Jacob had let his mind wonder; he heard all the commotion outside his compartment and started to stand to shut the door. As he stood another boy walked in and sat down. Changing gears he shook the boy's hand. "Jacob," Breaking from the hand shake he turned to shut the door. "These people are so loud." He said with a glare.

After shutting the door he walked back to his seat. "So, I'm going to assume you're a first year?" His only reasoning for this was he was alone and it seemed he knew no one. Or it was possible he was an un-liked boy, who had no friends. He sat, pulling his legs underneath him again.

Chris smiled. "It is- I quite enjoyed it during my time there," he said. He grinned at his embarrassment, and nodded his head. "OKay, well, I guess I have been sorted then," he said with a smile. "Thanks, I would appreciate that- how big is your school? Is it one building or many?" he asked.

He laughed as James asked if he were brave. "Well, that's a deeper question than I think I can answer... but, I think that crossing an ocean and attending a school in my final year might be a little on the brave side," he said with a laugh.

Chris listened quietly as Roxxy told James about her past. But, he was able to tell that she didn't want to delve any deeper. If need be, he would step in to defend the first year- school was hard enough without a complicated history behind you.

Chris grinned at her description. It was something he had done to his sister many times in the past. "You never know," he said with a shrug, and left it at that. "How many years apart are you?" he asked out of curiosity. At her next question, he frowned slightly in thought. "Somewhat, yes... but I'm no expert on the Hogwarts houses. I'll let you know when I get a better look at everything," he said with a laugh.

Chris was eager to hear about the Houses, and turned to see what James said as well. Although he did read books, Hogwarts: A History had been scanned through before he left for the school. There simply hadn't been enough time.

Warren nodded, ''Yeah mate you did well, Chelsea smashed Watford!'' something he was mostly proud about. Waz hadn't played football since his last match against Bolton Wanderers Youth.. They won 2-1 and only luckily by Warrens penalty. ''I brang my new football with me this term.. maybe we can av a kick about sometime? and er.. maybe we can get that Evan kid too? '' Remembering that Evan was a footy fanatic like them, and even supported the best team in the world!


His attention soon turned to his sister. The name Damon was brought up and Warren suddenly turned his head around to face Alex. ''If its any consalations.. he told me his coming this term'' he smiled, this was all true! he remembered Damon telling him the day of the Manor party. ''He will be here.. im sure of it'' He knew how much he meant to her, seeing him disappear was upsetting.

Miles looked at Fia and nodded as she spoke. "But worth it. The most important things are worth it," he said quoting Cela. "And Fi there's no one else on this planet I care about more than you. You're my most important thing." Did he really just say that? He needed to stop reading those romance poems.

He smiled slightly as she said she was miserable too and watched as she stared at the bear. That had been one of his best ideas. Hearing her comment he sighed, "Yes...I know. And...while you may have a valid reason for it in your mind. In my mind you don't." Turning slightly as he sat he looked at her, "Fi you know I've never liked any other girl that way and I don't like Brody that way either. She's a bit conceited about her looks and style. When have I ever cared for or liked anyone like that." Turning back around he looked at the floor, "You know how I said things with Cela and Cope were different...its because she KNOWS he doesn't like anyone else but her in that way."

Glancing at Fia he looked thoughtful, "And I didn't tell you right off because I knew you'd flip and...I was right. But to me it wasn't anything." He spun around in his seat in full explanation mode to face her, "You see because there's a kiss like how I kiss mum and AUNT Alys which was how it felt with her and then there's...." he leaned in slightly and caught her lips before she could object, lingering slightly and closing his eyes. He pulled back slowly his eyes closed still and feeling a little breathless. He always felt like that when he kissed Fia. "And then there's that...." he whispered as he opened his eyes to look at her.

Something about that girl gave Nancy the impression that she was not exactly delighted to have her in her compartment. Great, this was only adding to the list of awesome things in her life from the last few days. And yes, she was being sarcastic there. Heavily so. "Thanks. She's a kneazle actually." Well, at least she seemed to try to make conversation. Which meant manners were existent.

Slowly taking a seat in one of the empty seats Nancy tried to give the girl a small smile...which ended up in something that could rather be described as a grimace. "Nice to meet you. I'm Nancy." And somehow she felt the need to add, "Slytherin. Sixth year. Are you in your first year?" Yes, talking helped. Who needed Steven anyways? Pfft. Who was Steven again?

Right then another girl pushed open the compartment door to ask if she could join them. Somehow Nancy highly doubted Layla's words. This was not exactly going to turn out to be a party. Absentmindedly stroking the ginger kneazle's ears she gestured towards a free seat for the new girl to sit in. "I'm Nancy." She repeated with a half-hearted smile towards the new girl. "And you are?" The talk-to-forget-strategy had worked quite well before so let's not stop.

Wait? How did Steven look again? Who cared anyways? Pfft.
Only she did.

Her attention caught by the sound of hooting Nancy glanced up only to see Layla pulling down a cage which contained a snowy owl. She herself was not too fond of owls and had never owned one herself. There were people around her whom she could borrow one from if she felt the need to write a letter after all. "Nice owl you've got th-" Right then the ginger furball in her lap had sprung to life with a little hiss. "Shsh!" Nancy muttered towards it and started stroking its fur again. It apparently was not too fond of owls either.

Victoria sat down next to Emily, "So what is your favourite subjects? Mine is Defence against the dark arts and Herbology.

" Oh well, at least we get to know mother earth when we trip" Rex laughed. " Glad you feel better" Rex told Emalyn. " We are sitting right here next to your old compartment" Rex explained to Emalyn. " Glad to met a new friend" Rex said to Emalyn.

" So do you miss Jason?" Rex asked Victoria. " I am glad we are related" Rex told Victoria hugging her. " This term will be good" Rex said to Victoria.

Lucille's eyes grew soft. "Im sure he'll be here," she reasurred Alex. "He loves you, so theres no way he could miss a whole year without you. He'll turn up." She smiled thoughtfully. "Hey! We still need our pamper day thing. Hows about we do it so your allll ready for when Damon turns up?!"
She wanted to cheer her up a bit, take her mind off things.

Oh such a nice hug.

Sarah beamed as Ryder congratulated her, hugging tightly back, and burying her face in his shoulder. "Thank you!" she mumbled, removing her face to look up as he moved off his seat.Eyeing the door as Ryder opened it, Sarah leant forward to peer out and see who was out there.She really needed to get out and about soon, not long to sit and chat.As two people entered, who she had never seen before, Sarah gave them a warm smile as a welcome.Shifting to her left, she gave them enough room to sit down, and crossed her own legs underneath her.

"Hello!" she waved, especially at the young girl, wanting to appear friendly and approachable.She waited for Ryder to introduce himself, then did the same. "I'm Sarah Griffin, 5th year Hufflepuff and also one of the Prefects.If you need anything, let me know," smile, nod, sigh, at both of them.Her boyfriend obviously knew the boy, a captain of a quidditch team it would appear, called Brant? "Nice to meet you, Brant," Sarah stretched out her hand offering to shake his.

Then someone else entered.Someone she did know, and who she was quite excited to see. "Mirandaaaaa!!" she squealed as she caught sight of the badge her fellow Huffie was wearing. "You made captain? Congratulations! We both have some responsiblility this year then?" she grinned, pointing at her own badge, then getting up from her seat and hugging Ryder's little sis.

Plopping herself back down, Sarah absentmindedly looked at her watch.Not long been moving, plenty of time yet.Instead she sat and listened as it appeared that Miranda and Brant were getting a bit flirty...or maybe she was reading too much into it.Either way she was content for a moment, until the little girl got up and left, distracting her from her thoughts. "Oh, uhh, bye then," she called at the departing back.

Noticing a kerfuffle outside, Sarah was just about to get out of her seat and be all stern, when she saw Chris and two other Prefects already there.Lowering herself back down, she sighed. "I suppose I should go and be a Prefect soon eh?"

Emalyn laughed. "Oh yeah, we've gotten to know mother earth preeeeetty well by now." she balanced Mr. Marbles on her shoulder for a bit while she tucked the bottle of water away in her bag and re-slung it over her shoulder. Her pygmy puff 'bopped' back and forth impatiently until she took him in her hand again. "Thanks. Apparently I was just hungry." she shrugged. "Oh, okay," she said, looking in the new compartment. "I'm glad to meet one too, especially on the train. This ride can be such a bore if you don't have anyone to talk to."

She sat down in the compartment and situated herself. It felt so good to sit down on something comfy. She had been racing to King's Cross all day and running like a maniac to get her luggage and whatnot on board, including herself.

"Of course I miss him but I will see him at the christmas holidays, come and sit with us!" she asked her brother.

Everything seemed so easy, just get back together and forget everything, but for some reason, there was something stopping her. When Miles spoke of Cela and Cope's relationship it was as if that was the answer she'd been searching for, that's how she wanted things to be and it was HER that had the issues on that end of things.

She opened her mouth to speak, but was thrown off at her thoughts the moment Miles' lips touched hers. She forgot about everything at that very moment and then he pulled away. The feel of his lips on hers, the softness, the familiar surroundings. She smiled, her eyes were still closed as if she were savoring the moment.

"That..." she paused finally opening her eyes to look at him. "...was...yummmmy." She was now spacey, happy and it was Miles. "I...that...Wowww!" She sighed with a half smile as there was just not enough oxygen going to her brain at the moment and she was captivated by him. Damn him for doing that...but she liked it...a lot!

Waz nodded, ''He will be there.. '' He was more than certain of it.. well Damon did tell Waz he was gonna be there.. ''Pamper day.. yeah er.. i think i'll drag myself to that..'' Smirking.. he didn't mean it but kinda wished he never said it.. this could lead to danger!

Alex turned to look at Warren as he cut off his conversation, and spoke to her. About Damon.. "Really?" She said softly. She hoped it was true. She missed him so much. "I hope so, I.. I miss him alot." She said softly, as she looked out the window, trying to keep tears from her eyes.

She composed herself after a few moments and looked at Lucille, "Thanks, I guess I forget sometimes. He just leaves so often.." She half smiled and looked away again. But she smiled and looked back at her brothers girlfriend as she spoke. "That would be great! I would love that actually." She said smiling widely.

Waz could see that Alex was holding back the tears.. he really did mean the world to her.. Warren got up, walked over to her and hugged her. ''He will come back'' He kissed her on the top of her head, smiled and returned back next to Lucille. ''If he dont then i'll just er.. have a man to man chat with him'' he smirked.

"Can do!" said Lucille, winking. "Waht do you think Alex? Green or Red nail polish for Warren?"
She took one of his hands in hers and inspected it. "You know," she said, smirking, "i think you're more of a purple guy, actually. Definatly."
This WOULD happen. Even if she had to do his nails while he was asleep.

"Exactly!" She said. "It'll be awsome. First Hogsmeade trip?"

A sudden thought entered her head. Lucille looked out of the cabin door, half expecting to see what she wanted to see. But it was a silly attempt.

It wasn't going to happen.

Lucille becam silent and waited for Alex's answer, slightly paler than she had been before.

Nunually held on to her mom's photo and looked out the window, she saw as Georgie began to talk to others and she began to think about her real mother. Even though she was extremely happy with her mommy, she wondered why she had been abandoned? Had she done something? Were her real parents alive? Didshe have any siblings? The only reason she knew her parents were wizards was because the letter had told her so, although there was no name. She slowly shook her head and decided she better not think on it too long. As she snapped out of her thoughs she heard Georgie asked if Nunually and herself could sit with some students Nunually looked at Georgie like a little girl who was holding on to her older sisters hand to cross the street.

Miles smiled as Fia spoke not really making much sense at all. Did that mean he was good? He had been worried for a moment she'd slap him or something. Standing up he went and grabbed some chocolate. Turning around he opened the package and bit a chunk of it off with a grin. Sitting back next to Fia he sighed, "Wow?" He asked with a smirk and leaned against her.

"Fi I love you and..." sucking in a deep breath he looked down at the half eaten piece of chocolate. "And if you want time...I suppose I'll just deal with it and give it to you. But I'll be right here when you're ready I swear." Oh those words hurt but he wasn't going to ruin what they had by not giving it to her.
