The corridor was getting pretty busy, Ryder thought. All this talk about Quidditch was making him happy. It was his most favourite sport in the world, and to top it off, him and Miranda were a really good team. He couldn't wait for tryouts again! They'd either make or break his year. "Yes, I was there," he said to Miranda. "I looked for you, because I just knew you would be there, but I could not find you anywhere."

Being friends with two of the four captains was going to be interesting. But he didn't mind, he had always been good at not letting things like that coming between him and the people he knew. "Are you nervous about being captain?" Ryder asked Brant.

Yup...new term. Greeeatt.

"Are you ok, mam?" Rex asked her. Rex held his hand out to help her up. " I am Rex Trigwell, mam" he introduced himself to her. " I am very clumsy, but it seems like the train just made a sudden stop, mam" Rex told heer.

Kailey was relieved Avada had just gotten a warning and nothing else so she smiled gently at the woman in front of her and nodded as if she was also warned.

Another brilliant idea from her Slytherin friend. "Invitations. Good one." she nodded in approval. They would have to be fancy of course. Appealing to the eye. Sticking her feet up on the seat, Evelyn leaned at the wall, and stared at Kay in the other compartment. "Would you wear a badge?" That idea, was not brilliant. "Perhaps a bracelet, or a necklace." Or maybe a tattoo. Like they did in the older days. That would surely be useful. Or make it so the necklace could never be taken off unless herself or Destiny took it off for them. "We could have the 'dirty work' group give out the invitations, and we could send a necklace along with it."

Ordinary..wasn't Destiny ordinary? Unless her weird obsession over pies was extraordinary..but that couldn't be it. It seemed Destiny did change over the summer, she shrugged, 'You spend a whole summer with that lady of a grandmother and see if you don't change.' She needed someone to take it out on, and who better than Kay. She glanced over at her in the other compartment with some boy Destiny never seen before. They looked close..and that was definitely not Kevin..weird girl.

Two groups. 'I can be in charge of one, and you the other!' Bossing people around sounded like fun right about now. And a whole lot of firsties at that. Destiny cringed when Evelyn asked her about the badge, 'Noo, I wouldn't wear a badge.' Unless it had the cute face of her kitten on it! 'Where will we get a necklace from? And we might have to get a whole lot of them.' Which would be entirely too expensive and well..'I don't have a lot of money.'

Chris watched proudly as Reese handled the situation like a pro. Her first Prefecting duty. He then looked towards the boy and nodded at what Reese had said. "And also I am the Gryffindor Prefect, and I would just like to say, just because of the old way the Slytherins and Gryffindors may have felt against each other, does not mean it is that way now. Me, Reese, and Raiden are all good friends with each other. So please remember about House unity."

He then was ready to leave. Enough chaos for a while.

Max walked through the train cars twirling his wand. He watched from behind his aviator sun glasses as people went in and out of compartments, saying hello to old friends. He, of course, didn't have any friends here. That was the outcome of being the new kid. He wasn't worried about making friends, they always found their way to him. Not knowing how long it took to get to Hogwarts, Max decided to go find a seat. Finding a compartment that had an empty seat , Max walked in and took a seat. Hey he said to the other people, while still twirling his wand

After the prefects left, Avada walked out into the corridor. He wasn't sure which compartment the quidditch captain was in so he just yelled out, "Hey, Gryffindor quidditch captain! I'm sorry for calling you a mudblood. It won't happen again." Feeling satisfied with his effort, he returned to the compartment with Kailey.
"Thank you for standing up for me." he said to Kailey and smiled, sort of.

But her internal thoughts didn't register on the outside. She just smirked again, and stepped closer 'till she was close enough to hug the dude. "Bring it on." She said seriously, looking straight into his eyes.

"I'm hungry for chocolate frogs now, so I'm heading back to the compartment." With that, Reese Upstead made her way down the train.

Emalyn rubbed the sides of her temples, finally daring to open her eyes when she heard a voice above her.

"Huh?" she looked up, blinking repeatedly. "Oh. Yes...I think so..." she took the boy's hand that he held out to her and pulled herself up, still a little unsteady. She fell against him for a brief moment before leaning against a compartment door instead. "Nice to meet you, Rex," she managed to smile even though the train was still spinning a little. "I'm...I'm...uhh..." Who was she? Oh...right. "I'm Emalyn Daniels." She looked at the boy curiously. She had never been called "mam" before. "Thanks, by the way. Oh, did the train really stop?" she peeked out a window, holding herself steady.

Kay relaxed a little at Rex's words and put her wand back in her holster. She looked over at the other compartment. "I sorry but I'm a little scared of those two." Kay said to Rex, pointing at Eveyln and her friend. "I don't want to go around all year with a sheild charm on." Kay said with a sigh. Feeling Rex tighten his hold on her hand she relaxed even more. Kay saw the girl fall when the train jerked. Hoping she was alright Kay saw Rex go to help her.

Max was a little surprised to find someone else who was from the states like him. Max wondered if he was all the way in dreary England by force like he was, but that was something Max wasn't going to bring up. Turner, Max Turner he answered back while holding out his hand to shake Rex's. I'm from Jacksonville, Florida. It's my frist year here too.

"My old broom was in bad shape from last year, so I needed one thats for sure." Then he turned to Ryder "Naw, man Im totally cool, After I got my Captain Badge I started to plan the try outs I think I have everything set in order to start." he said, Oh, Miranda issued a Challenge. Brant had to answer but he wanted to think about it before he answered. Then that Slytherin Boy said he was sorry, probley on Prefects terms tho. Severia always talked fast when she was excited. And she was at 100 words per minute now. But she couldn't help but think she should have broken her family tradition and been a Gryffindor. Brant was very nice and most of the Slytherins she had met were kind of mean.

Little Miss? Oh! The guy was talking to the little firstie. Miranda turned to the girl and smiled. She didn't know who she was...or the name of the other Captain for that matter. "I'm Miranda by the way." she said reaching out a small hand towards Brant.

Brant totally forgot about the feast, Oh man he just started to get hungry."Any who you know what House Im in, But we aren't going to have any classes together sorry, but we could always hang out on the weekends I could help you with some of your homework." He liked this girl, He didn't have a little sister and she would fit in nicely for that picture.

"Miranda, its way beyond awesome, but yet again another term of me getting that broom was that I couldn't ride it untill I got to school, so I'm really excited for the first weekend when I can take it out on the feild, If you wanted to join me that would be cool" Brant smirked. An undercover way of asking if she wanted to go on a date. Quidditch was just awesome like that Always bringing in the Ladies. HA! This term was already awesome.
