Alessia had set up the room ahead of time. The room was cold. Desks were arranged in rows... and the walls were painted white. On each desk there was a bag, a casting cloth, parchment and a quill.
On the parchment there was instructions: Quote:

Hesitantly, Evelyn walked into the classroom and automatically moved to a seat in the back, her head hung low as she stared at the ground until she sat down.
Taking a deep breathe, she slumped slightly in the chair as she stared blankly at the desk. There was stuff on it, but it just wasn't processing in her brain until a few seconds later. Eh, what did they have to do? Reading the instructions, she was pleasantly surprised that his sounded neither difficult, nor easy at the same time. The hard part was just trying to remember what runes they learned throughout the year.
Taking a moment, she thought about it before summoning the set of runes she wanted and pulling out the rune she really wanted to use for this. Smiling, she held it close to herself before setting to her work, taking her time with her final until it was complete and then she just needed to do the written part. So why did she use the rune she did? Pffft, well that was easy.
Smiling at her work, now in a more happier mood than she came in with, Evelyn wrote her name up at the top before standing up and walking up to the front and handing in her work. There. Final done! Now to go sleep again.

Rex summons the Chakra Runes. These Runes cover movement. This sounds like fun /rex usually dances with a partner. For this assignment, he decided to be a one man dance show. Rex moves his feet underneath him His arms go in the right way. This is an old dance from Italy. Well, this is also done at Italian weddings. Rex dances the "Tarantella", a traditional Italian dance.

Herminny walked into the ancient runes classroom and took a seat at one of the desks and saw the bag of runes and parchment with what seemed to instructions. She read the instructions which made her rather nervous because she hated activities like this because she was self concious of what others might think. She knew a rune that could help he and summoned that rune and before she knew it she took a bucket of paint an splattered it all over the wall and began to pait the wall willy nilly with her fingers just having a great fun time.

Chris Potter walked into the Ancient Runes classroom and took a seat in the dead middle of the classroom. He learned better when he was surrounded, it made him feel as if everyone was watching him, putting him on the spot and ready to work. He had barely noticed the blankness of the classroom until he had sat down and flipped over the parchment from Professor Lupa. 'Do something, creative?' the Gryffindor Prefect thought to himself. What would he do? Well first thing he had to do was summon the Rune set he needed. He picked up the draw-string bag and thought of the Witches' Rune set. When he reach his hand into the bag, he pulled out a Witches' Rune and some creative energy came to him. Chris knew what he was going to do now.
Standing up and manuvering his way to a blank spanse of wall, he reached down and grabbed a paintbrush and a paint pallet. Then with his chosen Rune grasped in the same hand as his brush, he began his painting.
.....
After a while, Chris stood back and a small and simple mural of Hogwarts castle had taken shape from his paint brush.

There could be no doubt that Ancient Runes was one of her favourite subjects. Gold adored it to bits; and even the exhaustion of the past week or two, did not keep her from stepping into the classroom, now, to take the final, which would prepare her for her OWL.
She sat down in the first vacant seat that she spotted, and looked down at her desk. There was a bag, there, but Gold had sort of expected that. Runes, right? She liked those. She actually wanted to poke the bag, and see how many runes it had. Hehe.
But, she could do that later. For now, to read the instructions. Gold picked up the note on her desk, read it, and then glanced at the bag, again. It was going to summon the runes?
Right.
"Mr. Bag? Could you kindly give me --" She specified what she wanted, slowly but surely; and, when the bag had obeyed her, to give her the runes she needed, Gold placed them on her desk, face up. Then, quietly reaching for the pearl-emerald necklace round her neck, she unclasped it, placed it on her desk and, with a flick of her wand, had it come apart - the chain came loose, and the pearls and emeralds were free.
Picking up, one by one, the runes she had summoned, only a minute or half ago, Gold used her wand to alter each a tiny bit. Yes, a tiny bit was just enough for her purpose. Then she conjured an amount of stones, some red, some green, but all round ones that looked very polished, and drilled a little hole through each. There. That was done. Now.
She painted a golden lion on each of the green stones, and a silver snake on each of the red. That done, she lifted one up and, slowly and carefully, strung it into the golden-silverish chain that had once been a part of her pearl-emerald necklace.
Then she picked up a pearl-motif, studded with an emerald, and strung it into a chain.
She continued to push the little assortment of things she had - the pretty, painted stones, the emerald-embedded pearl designs, more - into the shimmery golden chain. It took time, and she knew some simple spellwork would save that, but simple spellwork was not on her list. It was intent, that she wanted to infuse this little piece of art with.
Because that was important.
It took her more than half an hour, to be done; but when she was, there was a gorgeous, very gorgeous, necklace between her fingers, and a pretty smile on her face. The kind of smile that one dons - without even realizing it - when one feels that an amount of hard work has paid off, just the way it should have.
Smiling to herself, Gold placed the necklace on the desk, quietly took out its case from her pocket - it was a special gift, the necklace, so no wonder she carried that casing around - and, picking up the paintbrush she had used, earlier, to paint the red-and-green stones; started to paint the little box of pure, silver metal. Such a pretty box, though so plain!
Well, she hoped it would look even prettier, now.
Fifteen minutes later, she finally straightened up, placed the encasing to one side, to let the paint dry in peace, and picked up a fancy-topped quill. Now to write down the exact explanation.

Destiny was singing that in her head as she walked into the classroom. What was that, and why was it so catchy?
More importantly, why was it so cold in the here?
Destiny shivered slightly as she took a seat in the back of the room. She had just left the dungeons, and now it felt like she was back there!
As she settled into her seat, she took a hold of the parchment and read it carefully. As she read, she glanced at the bag on her desk. She knew what was in there, since it was a runes class. Explainable.
Destiny lifted the bag and summoned the runes she wanted. That was the easy part, and now was the hard; she had to do something creative.. That would have been easy if Destiny had any creative bone in her body. Hmm.. Staring at the runes in her hand, she had an idea. She didn't know how to write a poem, but she could recite one..right? Clearing her throat, she took a deep breath and recited Shakespeare's Sonnet 27.
Awkward..
When she was finished, she took out a piece of parchment and started to write down her explanation.
Ehhh..

| Granddaddy Ravenclaw | | Jermione Granger Creative? Tiberius looked down at his desk in dismay. He was supposed to... do something creative?
Tiberius thought, long and hard, about what rune he might want to use, the time for him to work ticking away rapidly. Finally settling on one, he summoned it with the bag and palmed it, closing his eyes.
Closing his fingers around it, he squeezed it, concentrating on it's meanings and its possibilities for creative expression. When he opened his eyes, he knew exactly what he would do.
Hurrying over to a blank section of wall, Tiberius gather around him paints of various shades. Rune grasped tightly in one hand, he grabbed a paintbrush in the other. Working furiously, he would sometimes close his eyes, trusting that the brush was going where it needed to. The hand that held the rune was sweaty, but when he painted his final stroke, he knew.
Stepping back to admire his section of the wall, Tiberius smiled. Now, just to rush back to his seat and write his explanation.

Brant noticed everyone doing their crazy things when he started to sit down at the empty desk. But once he started reading the instructions on the parchment, he understood why everyone was acting so wired.
He sat looking at the bag, Wondering if he would get the rune he wanted. "The Salamander". He felt like the salamander all the time. and this was all because of Miranda. "I wonder how shes doing in her classes" Brant thought to himself.
Opening the strings to the bag he squinted one eye and quickly looked in to see if it was the right rune, and to his luck it was. He quickly put the rune in his hand, and as soon as the rune touched his hand Brant started to summon some Thick glass.
With his wand he started to shape the glass, not know yet what shape it would take. After about a half and hour it took the shape of a heart, almost the size of his hands put together. Hmm, what to do with this Heart now?" then the idea hit him.
Brant summoned some flames and put it in the glass heart, But charming the fire to change with his mood. The heart looked perfect, it was so pretty. he took out a chizzle and started to chip is name in the front of the Heart.
Brant wanted to give his mood changing heart to his girlfriend Miranda, so she would always know how he was feeling.

| Atypical Ravenclaw Bookworm // Hair Flipper Pro / / the edgy starbuckian // Hot Messie Mina quickly found a seat near the front of the class and sat down. It was time again for the final and she was a little beside herself still from all the emotions that had been taking her for a ride. Would her emotions hinder her from actually doing well in the final or was she just being paranoid again? Trying to calm herself, she closed her eyes and inhaled. It was just a final and she could seriously handle it. Opening her eyes as she slowly exhaled and looked at the parchment before her. That didn't sound all that difficult, she could manage it.
Thinking clearly of the set of runes she wanted and the specific rune, she focused and called for the bag. Reaching for the bag, she undid the drawstrings and reached inside, wrapping her hand around a rune. Slowly pulling it from the bag, she opened her palm to see if it was indeed the rune she wanted. Yes, it was just the one she had in mind. Gripping it tightly in her hand, she started to feel a bit more relaxed and was able to think clearly. She just needed to do her thing now.
Glancing at the bracelet on her wrist, she pulled out her wand and cast geminio on it. Taking the duplicate off her wrist, she carefully started to disassemble it one loop at a time. Keeping the loops and the heart charms separate, she squeezed the rune and let out small controlled breathes. With all the pieces of her bracelet before her, she slowly started to link the loops back together, forming something resembling a cage. Taking the two heart charms, she placed them inside the cage and charmed them to suspend inside. Two hearts in a cage, how fitting she thought to herself. Setting the tiny cage down, she picked up her quill and looked back to her parchment. It was time for her explanation and then she would be done.
Seriously, that wasn't all that difficult as she thought it would be. Silly girl. |

Marie read over the instructions on the parchment. They had to be creative... that was one thing she was not. Creativity was not something she was born with. This final was going to be a grueling one for her. She went ahead and did the easy part. She took the bag and summoned out the Chakra Runes.
Once she had the set of runes she wanted she chose the one from the bag that she knew she wanted to use, the Manipura or Solar Plexus chakra. Now that she had her rune picked out she needed to think of something creative to do. She watched what some of the other students were doing trying to get inspiration from them. There was no way she was going to dance and she was not about to paint and risk getting paint on herself. Then she heard Destiny recite a poem. Well she wasn't going to stand in front of the class and do something like that but she would write a poem.... or at least she would write some words on her parchment and hope they sounded like a poem.
Looking at the blank parchment she sat there for several minutes trying to think about what she was going to write about. She thought about her life and everything that had been going on in it lately. Finally she knew what she wanted her poem to be about. She picked up her quill and started to write. The words were coming to her more easily than she thought they would.
Once she was finished she read the poem over a few times before deciding that she was satisfied with it. Yes, it showed how she was feeling about certain things in her life right now. Picking the quill back up she wrote out her explanation on why she chose the rune she did. Once finsihed she took her parchment to the professor then left.
Yes, another final completed. Time to go enjoy the rest of the day.

| JayMay ♥ Big, yellow duckie <3 Candy had SKIPPED into the classroom and found herself a seat, for the final. Now, she BEAMED at the bag on her seat and turned her bright eyes towards the parchment there. The one with the instructions.
Time to read. YAYY!!
She read them carefully, not once but twice because while she loved Ancient Runes, it was ALWAYYYYSS best to read instructions more than once. That way you were TOTALLY sure not to make a mistake. And Candy wanted to do REALLY good on this exam because Professor Lupa was one of the professors Candy liked THE BEST!!
Having carefully read what they were supposed to do, Candy closed her eyes and summoned the runes she wanted. One by one of course. YAYYY for nice pretty runes that made her feel all warm! Then she set them out, on the desk in front of her, and EYED them for a moment or two, thinking quietly.
She knew what she wanted to do with them but she wanted to be sure she had everything right. Because things had to be just PERFECT for Professah Lupa! Sooo she spent her time LOOKING at the runes and once she had laid out her plan in her mind, proceeded to act upon it.
She began by taking a deeep breath, closing her eyes and letting any and all worries she had -- not that she had many!! - wash away. The world no longer existed except for a dark and very calm bubble of peace that seemed to last forever. SMILIINNGG at the feeling of awesome!harmonyyyy, Candy picked up an amethyst stone and placed it on top of her head.
Then she conjured a safety-pin, STUUCCKKK it magically to the back of the rune that was an Adventurine stone, and pinned this Candy-made!brooch - Candy!made brooch HEHEHEHE!! - to the front of her robes, right over the spot where her heard beat, rhytmically and SLOWWLLLLYYY.
With that done, she INHAAAAALED, thinking beautiful thoughts, CHANELLING energy into herself, into her whole body, until she felt completely at peace.
Then she opened her eyes, and picked up a a container of wax, and a gorgeous, fancy-shaped glass bowl from the material that they had been provided - YAYYY for paints and brushes and creative stufff! She placed the remaining TWOOO rune stones she had summoned in the glass bowl, then painted the same two runes on the BASE of the PRETTY glass bowl.
Then she started to work with the wax, adding tinges of red, gold and silver - such SPLENDIDDD and shimmeryy colours - into it, and melting, moulding and shaping it, until it was perfect and just the way she needed it to be.
NOWW!!
Candy BEAMED at her lovely glass bowl and transferred the wax into it. The wax came to rest on top of the two runes, so that they were hidden from view but still there. YAYYYY for little secrets only she knew! Well Professah Lupa would know too when she wrote her explanation but that was OKAYY since Professah Lupa was a NIIICCCEEE professor! No worries there!
Candy produced a wick and stuck it in the very centre of the surface of the smooth wax. The wax that she thought looked LOVELLYYYYY now since it was in the lovely glass bowl, and the sheen of the latter brought out the red and gold and silver of the now-coloured wax and made the two look like a PRETTTYY combination of materials. A shinyyy!combination, too.
Finally satisfied with her work, Candy picked up a NIIICEEE quill and started to write her explanation.
YAYY!!

The assignment wasn’t easy for Celandine; she’d missed so much from being… away. She frowned down at her desk hoping she could come up with something that would be alright. It made it harder that she couldn’t think of anything much in a positive light right then, but if it was bad for her, kidnapped for endless weeks because of some horrible, bad, obsessive person, it had to be worse for Professor Lupa who was the very reason that everything had gone horribly for the past three terms, right? Cela chewed her lip thoughtfully and after a long time she quietly asked the bag for a rune set.
The witches runes spilled out of the bag and Celandine searched through them. She wasn’t sure how she’d use them yet, but she did trust that her fingers would choose the right one. Sure enough she felt something when her fingers grasped the romance rune. Desire, passion, relationship and heartbreak? All of the above fit. Celandine chewed her lip some more and decided what to do. She summoned her jewellery box from her dorm and began to sort through the items within, pulling free several pieces made with tiny, perfect diamonds and pretty little emeralds.
She’d need her wand for this and it wouldn’t be the first time she’d made jewellery for the professor. Cela actually kind of enjoyed it. She glanced at the little daisy ring that Copernicus had made for her and ventured a tiny smile. Maybe one day they could do stuff like this together as a hobby or something. For now though, Celandine got to work separating the pieces she’d need. It was finicky stuff but she had a lot more patience than she used to. With her tongue poking out from the corner of her mouth, Cela quietly used her wand to coax the little pieces she’d scavenged into a new form. A bracelet for the professor, all the while keeping her mind on the meanings of her chosen rune, hoping to invoke it and infuse the bracelet with all the things that she wanted it to be.
Once she was done, Celandine added a few charms to protect it and began to write up her explanations, the silver bracelet glinted in her hand as if agreeing with her. Hoping it would be enough, a still very subdued Celandine, handed her work in and left the exam room, head down and shoulders bowed.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Auden Azarolla Ravenclaw First Year | <.< >,> v.v ^,^! Ivory stepped in the Ancient Runes classroom her eyes dark from lack of sleep. Nightmares were a horrid things that plagued her nights and truth be told so was her guilt so she had as of lately resorted to not sleeping so as not to deal with it. She rarely lift her head for fear of accusing glances and she’d used the upcoming finals as an excuse to stay holed up either in the library or in her dormitories just reading the day away. Sighing, she sat down and looked down at her desk, her hands passing over the bag, and casting cloth, as she read the parchment. Something creative.. But to do that she had to think…she had to search her mind…
Trying to be think about what to do, Ivory’s mind was simply a blank slate of confusion one she wasn’t too anxious to unlock for the memories that would come up. It’d been her usual state lately but maybe now was the time to fix that. Maybe now was the time to face things.
Gently grasping the bag in her hand, she whispered to it. ”Witches runes, please.”
The bag ballooned slowly as she heard the slight clinking sound of stones dropping together. Feeling the small weight in her hand, she opened to the cloth to find it was full of the runes she’d asked.
Pouring them into her hand she passed them through her fingers as she contemplated which one to use. The star…? The moon?
Her tired eyelids closed slightly. Oh it was no use. None of them held any meaning to her at the moment. Sleep was all she could think about. But no she couldn’t sleep-the nightmares…but no she was so tired….this exam…maybe she should just give up.
Dropping them on her desk, she put her head in her hand and stared down at them dejectedly and then for some reason automatically looked for the runes that were face up. Thinking maybe it was a sign, she decided to go with her gut and instead of giving up grasped them tightly and shook them between her palms. Inspiration…please. Grant me a rune to help me….
Opening her hands, she watched the runes fall on the cloth, the rune that fell face up. The Harvest rune.
Grasping it in hand she eyed it and tried to concentrate on its meaning. Plans coming to fruition, timing, bounty, completion, good fortune and abundance growth. And…new beginnings…?
Letting her mind roam, she thought about the harvest and everything it brought…it brought life, right? And life…what did it look like…
Taking everything off her desk and placing it on the floor she started concentrating on that thought as she brought out her wand and pointed it at her desk. First a simple Color change charm to the top her desk, so that it took on the hue of rich fertile soil.
Next was a spell she hadn’t mastered at all so she knew the result wouldn’t be a drastic dangerous thing. ”Defodio!” The center of her desk suddenly caved in, in a small mini explosion of soil looking wood leaving a small depression in the middle. Using the same spell she added a little rivet branching off from it to the edge almost like a carved little canyon. Staring at her work she nodded affirmatively and blew on it a little bit to scatter the dirt colored wood shavings so the entire canvas looked more textured. Grabbing the more solid pieces she Duro-ed them to look like stone and scattered them around like small boulders. Aiming her wand once again, she continued. ”Aguamenti!”
The small shallow depression filled with water almost like a small lake that once filled followed the branching like a little stream. Water….water that fed plants. ”Orchideous!”
Water lilies appeared on her desk, that were beautiful but too large. A few ‘reducio’s’ later though they were just the right tiny size and floating in the middle of the water. Now for the more elaborate plant life….
Conjuring a few more she continued to reduce all their sizes and carefully revert them down to size until the entire desk was covered with greenery. Mini Rose Bonsai-looking tree bushes scattered her canvas and she’d reverted many a flower to small seedling that coupled with the small lake looked for all the world like tiny young trees. Then using the spell they’d learned in Herbology she trimmed some of them for little grassy knolls and clumped up the trimmings into tiny hills that she shaped into that of the Harvest Rune almost like the Lines of Nazca in Peru.
Looking down at the tiny landscape, she thought about what else it needed…life.
Grabbing a bit of clay, she sculpted tiny rabbits which she painted brown then added a little [b]Fur spell[b] to look more realistic. On some of the boulders next to the lake she painted tiny frogs, before moving on to the small life she could conjure. ”Papilio! Reducio! Avis! Reducio!”
Tiny little butterflies and fingernail sized birds now added more color to her miniature garden as they flew from tiny tree to miniscule flowerbeds making nests and pollinating and chirping little tunes.
The corner of her mouth lifted slightly in a tiny smile…the first attempt in days. She'd asked the runes for help and in their own way they'd interpreted her plea not just for the final but for herself, and as she wrote out her explanation she hoped that maybe just maybe the whole life filled tribute to the Harvest Rune would make the Professor who'd been through so much smile too. For growth…as a person and for new beginnings.
