Default 1 - Witches' Runes

Alessia was tired. She was running on ONE hour's sleep. (ooc: Because *I* am - LOL) She had the bag of Witches' Runes that Tate found in his office in her hands... Where these the reason Reynard was gone? Did he not leave her? She scootched up on her desk and waited for the students to file in.

ooc: I am so sorry, I was going to start this yesterday, but I was on call and ended up working all night long (except from 2:30 to 3:30 AM - my one hour of sleep) I will keep this thread open for at least 72 hours.

Emily perked up. This sounded like it was going to be fun. But she was a little confused about the most important one being the farthest away and all. But, she would do the best she could.

With a question in mind Emily picked up all the runes. She shook them in her hands and rolled them onto her desk. 6 runes were face up. Romance, Star, Harvest, Flight, Rings and Moon. Harvest was farthest away from her. Romance was closest, but Emily didn't know if that mattered.

She remembered her question, Will I do good in school this year?.

The harvest was farthest away so it was the most important. And it meant, Plans coming to fruition, timing, growth, beginnings, bounty, completion, good fortune and abbundance. She addressed each thing one by one.

Plans coming to frution, she didn't even know what that meant.

Timing, maybe it meant she would get her homework in on time or something.

Growth, Emily guessed she would probably grow this year. Both physically and mentally.

Begginings, this was her first year.

Bounty, Emily couldn't quite remember what that meant. Completion, kind of like timing, maybe she would complete all her homework. Or maybe it just meant she would complete her year. Or pass all her classes. Maybe complete all her personal goals.

Good fortune and abundance, Emily doubted she would get lots of money. Maybe abundance meant she would get lots of good grades. Good fortune could mean in luckiness, or friends.

Since romance was closest to her it might mean it was the least important. So it might mean she wouldn't find love this year. Maybe it meant she would have a crush or someone would have a crush on her....intereting.

Satine could wait to do this. She glanced at her notes so that she knew exactly what to do. Her question was a very important one and she wanted to make sure that she followed all of the directions.

She reached into her bag of runes and pulled out the witches runes glancing at each of them and then comparing them to her notes to make sure that she had all of them and knew exactly what each looked like.

She closed her wand hand, her right hand, tightly around all of them and shut her eyes. Inside she asked the question that was killing her this term..."What does my love life look like for this term?" she said within her head as slow and as clear as she could. This question had been plaguing the third year since the summer considering she was the only one in Hogwarts that didn't arrive with a boyfriend.

She shook her hand as she always did when she was rolling dice in Muggle board games and then let the runes fly out of her hand, but not too hard to where she would have to chase them. She slowly opened her right eye to make sure all the runes where there. Then she opened the other to make sure they weren't all face down. Knowing her luck they'd be all face down and it ruin yet another one of her days with this predicament of a boyfriend.

She quickly scanned the runes to find the furthest from her. It looked there was a clear tie between the sun and the rings. She quickly glanced at her notes and wrote down some notes:

Quote:
Lead Runes-The Sun and The Rings
The Sun-Great Success, Strength, Bright Future, Great Happiness =]
The Rings-Commitment
Then she glanced at the other two that landed face up...her eyebrows raised as she realized what they were....the eye and romance

Well yes that made sense that the romance rune would turn up since the question had to do with a boy...but the eye...

She glanced back down at her notes and added...

Quote:
Other Runes-The Eye and The Romance
The Romance-Love, desire, relationship
The Eye-protection, clarity, awareness
She studied her notes and then looked that the four ruins lining them up in the order of them in proximity to her.

She finally added to her notes...

Quote:
Okay so this seems to mean there's a high possibility of something happening that may bring me lots of happiness and success and will utilize some time of commitment. And it seems that this is a desire of mine and maybe it focuses around someone that has been a guidance to me...
She stuck the end of her quill in her mouth and shot her hand up, "Professor, does this sound okay?" she wasn't one to have her every move checked in a class, but this was important to her even if this wasn't divination the answer still had to be positive in her mind.

"Hmmm? Headmaster Tate did." She said and continued with the lesson.

"Alright..." She flourished her wand and summoned a bag of witches' runes on each of their desks. "There is a white silk casting cloth in each bag. Lay it down on your desk and come up with a question. Concentrate on the query or feeling you would like the runes to help with then take ALL 13 runes in you wand hand. Cast them as if they were dice. You will only read the ones that will fall face up. The one farthest from you is you lead rune. The MOST important. If all your runes get cast face down, the question was not one that should be answered." She said. "Do your best in answering the question with the rune results. Remember, I don't teach divination, don't think this is the end all be all, your future is up to you to decide." She sat at her desk and said "Begin, and then let me know your findings."

ooc: HAVE FUN WITH THIS! There is no right or wrong.

After spreading the casting cloth on her desk, Celandine held her runes, just sort of feeling them a bit. This was her sort of thing since technically it was more of a divination aid than Ancient Runes, which Professor Lupa had mentioned. It wasn’t easy to hold all 13 runes. Her hands were actually pretty small after all, but she did manage it, balancing them in her wand hand and thinking of a question. It had to be something harmless, nothing that would make her, as Tibi put it, act weird. She didn’t want to ask about the coupons, or anything about whether Raiden would talk to her again. She licked her lips and decided to ask about Copernicus. Just how he was doing…

Celandine cast the runes with a practiced sort of ease, as if she regularly threw 13 dice on a surface in front of her. Furthest away was the star, then the romance and rings runes which were clustered together, then the man rune and finally, closest to her was the sun and then the flight rune.

The Star

Romance The Rings

Man

The Sun

Flight

She wrote them down on her parchment and listed the meanings, then started putting them together.

The STAR
Guidance, center, fulfillment, shininess, loneliness, hope, the future, money, personal glory, dreams and ideals

ROMANCE
Desire, passion, love, relationship and heartbreak

THE RINGS
Commitment, Joining of forces, union, crossing point, joining and binding.

MAN
Power, energy, workers, head of the family, strength, bravery, chivalry

THE SUN
Strength, success, great happiness, bright future, center and new direction.

FLIGHT
Running, escape, freedom, change, abandonment, transition, endless and messages.

Copernicus is following his dreams but he misses his shiny. Cela wrote, eyeing the meanings for ‘Star’. She was the shiny of course, it was one of his nicknames for her. She made faces at the heartbreak part but continued the interpretation, pausing slightly to take in the fact that two of the runes were right together. Joined meaning? Her heart beat a little fast but Celandine acted nonchalant. He desires marriage. Okay she knew that for a fact, but she still wasn’t entirely sure it would ever happen. Definitely not while she was at school.

She eyed the meaning for ‘Man’. Cope was definitely all the positive stuff in there, and… developing his inner strength so that he might one day be a strong head of his own family. She chewed on her lip and smiled slightly. His future is bright and full of happiness. Hopefully with her.As for ‘Flight’? well, Cela had a letter in her pocket so there was the messages meaning… He’ll find the freedom to be in control of his own destiny. She finished up and eyed her interpretation.

Gosh. Did she actually want the Professor to read it? Cela bit her lip and stayed quiet, thinking about it.

"Umm, Professor, it's just, I don't understand what the runes say. It says something like I'll have no hope when struggle and surveillance combine, but my future decision will be tough." Jenny said. Well, I guess this is O.W.L.s practice. She thought. Probably not, who cares? It was rather fun. "But that doesn't sound quite logical." She said.

<.< >,> v.v ^,^!

Ivory looked around as all her classmates cast their runes and in some way their fortunes.
Her eyes were wide as she took in the expressions on all their faces, some pensive, others happy and others well just plain upset.

She didn't want to ask how she was going to die, or if anyone near her was going to die, or if someone was going to get sick or if something bad was going to happen...no she wanted to stay towards safe questions. Maybe if she ever found herself alone with some witches' runes she would consider asking more deeper questions but for now nope, she'd have none of that.

Carefully she took out each rune individually from it's white silk casing. Examining each one in the light, she wondered what exactly it was about them that made them fall into place to provide people with their future. A special type of stone maybe? Carved under a blue moon? Made when your star was in the right place? How did one know the right circumstances for doing such things? How did one plan? And was it even a good day to ask a question of them today? Should she wait till maybe her birthday? But it was on leap year, she'd have to wait for a while....

Deciding to forget her musing and just get on with it, she collected all the runes. Barely able to contain them all in her wand hand, she reached out in front of her giving them a lucky shake. "What does my future hold for me," she began but then the perfect question hit her and she elaborated, "will I master and find out the history of my wand?"

Squeezing her eyes shut, she realized this is what she really wanted to ask, and hoped that the runes wouldn't only interpret the first part of her question, the general part. She wanted to know about the rest as well.

Slowly she turned her hand palm down, and opened her hand. Her ears listened carefully to the soft landings of the flat pebbles against the white silk.

Opening her eyes, she leaned forward to examine the lead rune. "The Rings? What? "

Taking out a piece of parchment she began to analyze the ones that had landed face up, comparing them with her notes on each rune.

SPOILER!!: Casted Runes and Analysis

Satisfied that she'd interpreted the runes in the best way she could, considering she was no pioneer in divination, she leaned back in her seat pondering on the validity of her analysis.

Herminny was not much intrested in the subject of runes or anything that predicted lifes happenings, she felt it all to be mumbo jumbo, but she decided she she would give it a go anyway. She thought of a question
Quote:
How will I do in school this semester?
With that she threw all 13 stones

Herminny watched and was a bit surprised to see none of them were side up, to her she felt this meant either he question was not meant to be answered, good she thought, she never wanted an answer from a bunch of stones.

'Oh! come on' Josh knew nothing good would come out of his so he was not intending to do a reading for himself and ruin rest of his life. As it could be ruined even more but there's always the worse than the worst. He blinked around without even attempting to take a set of Witches' Runes. The thirteen year old boy was quite aware that this might took the professor's attention so he had to think of a good excuse.

Telling the truth? No, he would look pathetic if he did that. But what else? Or...or maybe she'd not ask why he was not working if he did a reading for someone else. He'd be tecnically working on the topic. So he rose from where he stood and spoke to the professor ''Ehm...professor. Can i do a reading for someone else?''

Aschere picked up the runes in her right hand. Closing the fingers of her other hand over them, she rolled the stones between her palms, rattling them every so often. She wondered if she really wanted to know the answer to the question that was bearing on her mind. She supposed she could ask of the stones the other question bearing on her mind, namely the upcoming O.W.L.s, but then - she reasoned - that was something she could control. This, on the other hand, was something she needed to know.
She cast the stones with her right hand and held her breath while her mind whispered, "Who is he to me?"

The runes clattered onto the white cloth. Most of them were turned face-down. Scrambling for the parchment with her notes, Aschere turned to look for the lead rune. Lying almost on the edge of her desk, was number 13. "Romance" Aschere blushed. That was odd, indeed. She noted the other four in order as she moved back to where she had been sitting. Picking up the runes and the cloth, she set them aside on one corner of the desk and unrolled her notes again.
SPOILER!!: The badly written novel...

13)Romance : desire, passion, love - leading stone
8)Scythe : Death or the end
1)Sun : Strength, new direction
3)Rings : Commitment, union, binding
4)Crossroads : Struggle

Very odd indeed. A desire, an end, a new direction, union and struggle. It didn't make sense as it was. Aschere frowned. Rearranging them, she got :

13)Romance : desire, passion, love - leading stone
1)Sun : Strength, new direction
3)Rings : Commitment, union, binding
4)Crossroads : Struggle
8)Scythe : Death or the end

That didn't make sense either. Did it mean she would meet this man, or boy, whoever he was? And then fall in love with him and break up? She let out a short huff of annoyance. She was not ready for romance. She changed the order again.

13)Romance : desire, passion, love - leading stone
3)Rings : Commitment, union, binding
1)Sun : Strength, new direction
4)Crossroads : Struggle
8)Scythe : Death or the end

She tilted her head involuntarily. Passion, a union, strength, struggle.. she stopped herself suddenly, this time acutely embarrassed. She scratched out that last one.

Beginning on a new side of parchment, she gave it yet another go.
The romance rune was her leading rune. She could not deny it - there had been a deep reaction when she'd first had the dream, but she couldn't figure out what it was, except for an almost obsessive fascination. Whose face had it been?
A connection.. The rings came next.
The crossroads - a difficult decision? Perhaps that was the next one.
And then, there would come an end, and a new beginning.

Her brow creased over and her hand flew to her mouth. This was beginning to sound like a very badly written novel.

She decided to go with the order that she had noted them down in, farthest to closest, and began again, this time, writing down her analysis.

"My question was regarding a recurring dream, in which I see a man or boy. I have never seen this person before, and do not know who he is in real life, but I wish to know.
Asking of my runes the following question, "Who is he to me?" yielded:

13)Romance
8)Scythe
1)Sun
3)Rings
4)Crossroads

I interpret this to mean that there is indeed some connection, maybe even love, perhaps in the future, and as the leading stone is "Romance", this is the theme of that connection. Whatever connection there is between us might involve a death, or the end of something. Will it be the death of someone dear, or the end of a hope? Whatever it is, I think that new hope will come like the sun, which will strengthen this bond, however there will be a difficult decision to make.
"

She hoped that was a reasonable explanation. While it didn't give her much of a clue, it looked like she would have to wait for time to tell her the answer - she was never very good at interpreting overly abstract ideas..

Looking up at a familiar voice, she saw Josh standing up and speaking about doing a reading for someone else. Pfft...who was he going to do a reading for? That Ravenclaw girl probably. 'Probably likes her better too. And why wouldn't he? She's a Ravenclaw and he's like...part Ravenclaw...' Scowling at her desk, she starred at the Scythe rune that seemed to be mocking her at the moment. Snatching it off the desk, she held it up close to her eyes, glaring at it.

Though her gaze traveled down to the other runes. Scythe...crossroads... Wait. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad. If she were to read them one at a time as events in her life. Scythe would have been right now, which was not a good time for her. She was practically on the verge of just giving up. But maybe later on in her life, the crossroads, could mean a few decisions she'd have to choose. A few difficult decisions. Since it was closest to the Scythe, these decisions would either help or make worse the situation now. And the Eye, meant understanding and clear sight. Sooo, she would finally understand and have a clear head? Maybe she wouldn't be all confused and such like she was now and could actually focus on what she wanted in life. And the Star! The star meant...fulfillment and dreams! But since the Scythe was the farthest and most important at the moment, maybe it was describing her life right now? 'This reading ...is amazing.'

Unless she totally just read her runes wrong, or the wrong way, she decided that maaayyybee there was a slight chance that she would be able to become a wand maker. Completely forgetting about Josh and the Ravenclaw girl at the moment, she stared at the runes, not completely sure of her thoughts, but pretty happy with them anyways. Well this changed some things, that was for sure.

Tiberius looked down at the bag of runes after he laid down his casting cloth and wondered what question he could possibly ask. Despite having done rather well last term, and having enjoyed doing the readings, they always seemed to indicate doom and gloom.

Or maybe that was just his perspective on things.

In any case, Tibi settled on asking how his term would be. Closing his eyes, focusing on his question and then shaking the runes, Tibi cast them all on the desk in front of him.

And they all landed face down. Tibi stared at them dumbly. Was no answer a bad answer? Was his term going to be so inexplicably crazy that it was better not to know about it? A frown planted itself firmly on his face. Logically, he knew no answer was just that... no answer. But emotionally... he worried. And he thought to ask the question again and see what happened. But he knew better. Face down meant it wasn't meant to be answered. No hints for Tibi. He would just have to take the term as it came.

Sighing, he regathered his runes and thought of the other question that was burning for him. What's in store for my relationship with Mum? Tibi concentrated hard. He thought it was changing, and it worried him. And so, he turned to the runes for perspective.

Tossing them on the desk, he only opened his eyes as the clattering stopped. He felt his heart leap to his throat as he looked down at the runes. The Scythe was farthest from him. He tried to push the immediate assumption away as he looked at the other runes.

Harvest was next, followed by the sun. Finally, romance, the crossroads, and the moon all landed side-by-side closest to him.

Taking a deep breath, Tibi turned to his notes on the rune meanings and began to write down the individual rune meanings and then his interpretation.

Quote:
The scythe – death or an end to something
The harvest – Plans coming to fruition, timing, growth, beginnings, bounty, completion, good fortune and abbundance.
The sun – Strength, success, great happiness, bright future, center and new direction. Romance – Desire, passion, love, relationship and heartbreak
The crossroads – Struggle, change, choices, decisions and arguments
The moon – Changing, variable, femininity, habitual, guidance and memory.

Change is a meaning that comes up a lot. Since the scythe is the lead rune, I would say that our relationship as it currently exists is coming to an end. But so closely followed by the harvest and the sun, I would also say that there will follow a new beginning in a new direction. Taking the rest of the runes with that in mind, I would say that our relationship is in transition and that transition will be difficult based on the presence of the crossroads and the heartbreak meaning of romance, but that there is a bright future and happiness (sun) for us. The moon, in addition to emphasizing change again may also indicate that memories will be important.
Tiberius sighed. He needed to write home.

Sapphyre glanced at her runes and sighed, knowing exactly what question she'd ask. What is to come from the fight between Violet and Elizabeth and Marie?

With a dedicated, gentle toss, she let the runes go and do their work. Watching them play out, she glanced to the farthest from her. The Moon. Change. Well, of course there would be change... The Rings! Commitment. Hopefully, that meant that Violet and Conan would stay together. By the following Romance, she assumed it did. The Crossroads... Yes. Argument, struggle, decisions... And finally, the Scythe. Yes! An end! Well, all of that made sense, in relation to the situation. Good. She liked this.

Trying to make sense of it all, Becca said aloud, "So, I will be happy in the end, but will struggle to make the right decision and put an end to something. Maybe if I'm lonely, the end to a bad relationship with a friend?" Becca doubted herself and then raised her hand, "Eh, Professor Lupa, can I ask what you make of my runes? I-I'm not quite sure if I really know what they mean."
"Looks like you will be famous, but it'll be rocky, and men will interfere. In the end everything with be bright." She said with a smile.

Grabbing all 13 of the runes in her right hand she tossed them onto the white cloth as she asked Will I be friends with Kay again this year?. Looking down at the cloth there are only four runes that are face up. Marie gulped as she looked at them. They were The Skythe, Crossroads, Waves and Flight.
She looked over the girl's shoulder. "Good Good."

It didn't surprise her when it decided to be one related to Dylan.

What lies for us, in the future?

She grabbed all thirteen runes, felt their strange, rather cold warmth under her fingers, then let go of them, the way she would let go of a die. They rolled away from her, then came to a still. Most of them were, to her surprise, face down. Most -- but not all.

Gold blinked, then glanced at the Rings, the rune that was farthest off from her. She felt like a moment of silence, like something she could not explain, and then she picked up parchment, and began to scribble what she thought, down.

She frowned a little, placed her quill on her desk, and raised her hand. She had to show this to Professor Lupa, right?

"Professor?"
She came and looked over the girl's shoulder. "Good job." She said.

Evelyn knew exactly what she wanted to know. Her dream at the lake had been bothering her all week, the beautiful dream that had turned into a horrible one when the giant squid had pulled her beneath the surface of the lake, ignoring her struggles.

She balanced the stones one by one in her right hand...

"What does my dream mean? she whispered ever so quietly.

...and threw them on the cloth.

Five of the stones were facing upwards. She froze when she saw the rune furthest away on the cloth. THE SCYTHE!! So I really am going to be murdered by the gentle giant squid!!

Evelyn wrote down the order of the runes, so she could try and figure them all out:

Evelyn looked at the rest of them, and felt a little relieved, even smiling. Two of the runes, Sun and Star, related to the future, so that meant she had one! She wasn't going to die anytime soon! So what could the scythe mean then? The scythe also meant something coming to an end. That didn't have to be bad. Through her constantly changing life, she knew that things coming to an end wasn't always a terrible thing.

Wow. That sounds pretty full on. But Evelyn shook her head, as if shaking away the thoughts. Like she had thought before, divination is wishy-washy. The stones could have had any number of meanings. Not everything in life has to be so dramatic as what her meaning had described.

She raised her hand, "Professor Lupa, can we ask another question?"
"Of course," she told her, "but I'm wrapping up this class... take them back to your dorm and have fun with them."

What should I do after class? What should I do after class? What should I do after class?

"Let's see, the man, the star, the crossroads and..... th-the scythe?!" Nicoletta asked herself in shock. Its just a couple of rocks, just a couple of rocks. she thought.

"Okay, so it looks like the man means somethings going to happen to someone more in charge of my family," Matt?! "And I guess the scythe means that person's going to die. So I'll have to make some choices for my family and... and the star means I'll be getting the most attention. So I guess the answer to my question is... I should go send a letter to mum after class to see if Matt's alright."

To Nicoletta, it seemed pretty 'out there' and they were just stones after all...... Weren't they?
"Scythe can simply mean an end... and sometimes end is good." She said patting her shoulder.

The sequence of the stones that were face-up from the closest to him to the furthest was the star, the romance, the man and the flight. So that meant the flight was the first one right? Okay. Checking from the notes he had taken, he started writing his interpretation.

He reread what he had written. Wait, this meant success! OHMIGOSH! He had a future in football, his passion! Though he wasn't so quick to get all of his hopes up. He knew he had failed and he raised his hand. Professor could always correct him, right? And he was sure Professor Lupa would like to correct him if he was wrong, which was probably the case.

She wrote them down on her parchment and listed the meanings, then started putting them together.

Alessia peeked at the girl's interpretation. She smiled and winked at her, then looked away.

Telling the truth? No, he would look pathetic if he did that. But what else? Or...or maybe she'd not ask why he was not working if he did a reading for someone else.

She looked over the notes. "You are all doing so well."

Scowling at her desk, she starred at the Scythe rune that seemed to be mocking her at the moment.

"That's good..." She said pointing at the runes.

Tiberius sighed. He needed to write home.
"Master Pryce, very good." She told the little one.

The Rings! Commitment. Hopefully, that meant that Violet and Conan would stay together. By the following Romance, she assumed it did. The Crossroads... Yes. Argument, struggle, decisions... And finally, the Scythe. Yes! An end! Well, all of that made sense, in relation to the situation. Good. She liked this.

More runes on we get to create these. Might be interesting. I can use Quidditch things and other witch stuff. They will be wicked. I hope. I'm so going to fail this assignment. I just know it. Sidney isn't so sure about messing with creating runes. She doesn't know a great deal about these things. Sidney doesn't want to mess with the powers that be around here. She collects up her set of Witches Runes and puts them back into the pouch. "Interesting class professor. I can't wait to learn more about runes and stuff." Sidney puts her stuff in her bag.

Making his way back to his desk and plucking the last scattered rune from the floor, Sabel let out a small sigh. At least they didn't emphasize how little his coordination would change with another spill onto the floor. The first had been a clear enough answer.

Tucking the runes back in the pouch and folding up the cloth to go along with them he considered carving in falling stick figures on all thirteen of the runes he had to create. He was about to leave the room when he stopped in his tracks, remembering that he was supposed to talk to the Professor about the runes found in the Headmaster's office. Shifting his weight he glanced at her, wondering if he should stay in the classroom or move into the hall. Office. She had said office.

Giving her a brief smile and Kellen a farewell pat on the shoulder, he slipped out of the classroom, hoping it wouldn't be hard to find her office. And that there wouldn't be any left-feet acrobatics on the way there.

Woot!

"Thanks, professor," Gold said, as Professor Lupa moved on to check another student's work. The fifth year with bright, green eyes glanced at her parchment again, then realized Professor Lupa was talking. To the whole class. That must mean homework!

... and homework, it was.

Right. Gold noted it all down, then began to pack up. Notes, quill and stuff. 'Twas time to leave.

It was good? The runes were good? Pfft, she had no clue how a scythe or crossroads could be good, but if the Professor said it was, than heck, they were GOOD! Hopefully. Okay, so maybe she still had doubts about it, but the professor's words did cheer her up a little more.

Listening to the homework, Evelyn sighed and put the runes back in the little bag, including the white cloth. Create her own set of runes. That was going to take some serious outside time by the lake to figure out. Packing up her stuff, she stood up and walked towards the front, making sure to GLARE at the Ravenclaw girl, who she forgot the name of, and specifically at Josh. Sitting with someone else...Pssh.

"Bye Professor." she mumbled quietly, still having a small scowl on her face as she left. Library...need to go to the library...

Marie watched as the professor walked around the room looking at the work everyone was doing. When she haerd the professor say Good Good to her she looked over her own reading one more time. She was sure there was no way her friendship with Kay was going to be repaired now.

Homework, Marie was hoping the professor would forget to give any homework today but that didn't happen. After writing down the assignment she gathered all her things, including the bag of runes and put them in her book bag. Now all she had to do was create her own set of runes and give them meanings. This was going to take some serious thinking and time that she would rather spend with Evan.

"Bye Professor" she said as she was leaving the room to go somewhere quiet to get started on creating that rune set.

... and homework, it was.

Right. Gold noted it all down, then began to pack up. Notes, quill and stuff. 'Twas time to leave.
"You're welcome Miss Laksh." She said

Listening to the homework, Evelyn sighed and put the runes back in the little bag, including the white cloth. Create her own set of runes. That was going to take some serious outside time by the lake to figure out. Packing up her stuff, she stood up and walked towards the front, making sure to GLARE at the Ravenclaw girl, who she forgot the name of, and specifically at Josh. Sitting with someone else...Pssh.

"Bye Professor." she mumbled quietly, still having a small scowl on her face as she left. Library...need to go to the library...
"Bye dear, see you next time." She told her.

"Bye now, I can't wait to see your homework." She smiled.

She picked up the runes and put them away in the bag, and then packed away her things. She smiled at Professor Lupa, "Bye Professor Lupa, interesting lesson!" Iris got up and left the classroom.
"I'm glad you liked it, goodbye." And she closed the classroom.
