Raven felt immediately frustrated at her owl, something definately was up with Kyan. Normally he didn't act that way and she couldn't figure out why suddenly he was being hyperactive but that could be figured out a lot later, this was not the time or place to stand around looking like a complete fool.

"Isn't he not always on a power trip?" She asked with a slight smirk, honestly from what she had heard the head boy was a bit egotistical and she couldn't understand exactly why he had that title in the first place but she wasn't about to argue over such trivial information. "Well, so as long as you don't try to intrude on my pranks, you won't have any problems with me."

Adrienne laughed again at the comment accompanied by Raven's smirk. "You have a point there. I really don't know what the school was thinking when they let him be head boy. Or maybe they weren't thinking at all." But as long as she kept up her canny avoidance of attracting anyone else in power's attention when it came to her shoes, she was going to continue poking at him. Until he finally graduated, and then she was going to continue wearing whatever shoes she wanted anyway. None of the professors had reprimanded her, and obviously, even with all the power Dominic thought he had, he couldn't actually do anything.

And then she smiled at Raven's next statement. "Trust me. I don't make a habit of intruding on pranks. Unless I'm participating in them. So I wouldn't worry about me." Although maybe she'd found someone else she could have fun with, especially since Chloe was still who knew where.

Raven brushed some of the brown hair out of her eyes, then chuckled slightly at Adrienne's comment. "I don't think the school was thinking at all, the Head Girl was a brilliant choice however they could have picked someone with a little less ego and a little more capability to actually know the school rules." she said with another smirk, it seemed if she kept smirking, her mouth would stay that way.

"Hmm, well that's good. If you're interested in some pranks, well I'm always looking for some assistance." she commented then shrugged slightly. She could use more assistance especially with the big pranks that she's planning.

Adrienne got a thoughtful look on her face as Raven continued the discussion about the head boy and girl, although she was amused by the fact her comment had apparently entertained the Slytherin. "You're probably right. And I think with Evolette, it's more a matter of she knows what she wants, and knows how to get around the rules to get it. I think she knows the rules, she just disregards them sometimes." But the ego part was pretty accurate. Part of her had to be happy at least her own house's prefects seemed fairly normal.

She smirked a little though at the invitation to join in on pranks. "Sure. You need me, just ask." Besides, maybe she could get more ideas of ways to get to her brother. Or at least she'd get more practice.

Tori opened her eyes and realized that she had slipped and fallen. She also took sudden notice that her owl was on her chest. "Hi Artimus. Looks like it's a trip to the hospital wing." Tori remarked as she got up. As she rubbed the back her head, Tori could feel blood oozing down the back of her head and neck."Gross."
She left the owlery after convincing Artimus to stay.

Raven was surprised that Adrienne actually had the same thoughts as her about the head boy, Dominic was a bigheaded fool honestly and she couldn't understand exactly how he was even made a prefect originally. "I think so too, not all Slytherins know exactly how to step over the rules and get away with trouble." she commented.

Well this would definately be interesting, maybe with her assistance, Hogwarts could finally experience a big prank that hadn't been seen since the Weasley twins attended the school. "Well, I do need some more assistance with a certain prank that I'm doing soon." She couldn't wait to see student's reactions to what was about to happen.

Adrienne shrugged as Raven seemed to agree with her on the subject of Evolette and rules, and made the comment about Slytherins. "I think that can be said about pretty much all the students here. Some of us know exactly how to get away with things, and others don't." Considering, if her shoes really were so against the dress code that they should merit getting into trouble, she apparently got away with things all the time. And it helped that she never really looked like someone who would get into trouble.

Those thoughts led neatly into what Raven said next, and she grinned. "What exactly would you be needing for this prank?" She hadn't been able to do a lot to Riley lately, and she was itching for a good prank. And the Slytherin was piquing her interest now.

Rhea made her way up to the owlery before the sun had even peaked over the mountains. She pulled her sweater around her and tipsied around the fresh owl droppings. Most of the owls were still coming in. She scanned the owlery for Riven, hoping that he would get back before the rush of people up to the owlery.

After about a minute of waiting, she saw him flying in with something dangling between his beaks. When he landed on the sill she stepped back in disgust.

[B]"Gross Rivendell, drop that! I have owl pellets." [/B]She said looking at her pet with disgust. He had a dead rat in his beaks.
[B]"That better not be somebody's pet you're having for breakfast[/B]," she continued as she stepped in closer to him.
She watched in horror as Riven gobbled down the rat, then looked at her expectantly.
"You're a greedy bugger, you know that," she said scratching the top of his head fondly. She opened her hand and watched as he pecked the owl pellets out.

The owlry was a peaceful place to relax. Just as long as there isn't too many owls. His owl had came already from its delivery and it seemed to be in a perfect place. He walked up the stairs to search for his owl. He found the owl trying to eat the crumbs of the owl pellets. Isn't that cute Thomas walked up to the owl and re-filled the empty bowl. He missed home, this year is much harder then last year which is a shame. Hopefully he'll survive his fifth year.

Sylvia now believed that she was such a great photographer.

And to be even more of a great photographer, she needed a change in her pictures.

They all had people in them, doing something or looking at something. And now, she wanted NO HUMANS. To do this, she went up to the owlery to visit Dorinda. "Eurgh, you have such a stupid name, but I do love you." She smiled and stroked the snowy owl. It had been the first name that came to her head when Torin had asked her.

Sylvia took a few steps back and brought the camera to her eye. The shot was of Dorina perced on the window ledge, with the snowy scenery in the background. Beautiful. "Oh Dory, you'd make a gorgeous model." The owl chirped and returned to her perch, as she was only at the window to show off her good looks in Sylvia's homework.

Fallon had wandered the whole school looking for something to take a picture of. She could only find those two girls doing something interesting. So she headed up to the owlery. At least she knew she could get a good picture of Athena there.

She entered the owlery and shouted, "Athena!" She watched as her little owl fluttered down to where Fallon was standing. "Hey girl," Fallon said stroking the little owl's head. Athena looked at the camera around Fallon's neck in confusion.

"Stay there," Fallon said putting the camera up to her eye. The little owl turned her head in confusion at what Fallon was doing. "Almost done," she said as she focused the shot. She zoomed in on the owl's turned head. Click.

She pulled the camera away from her eye and walked back over to the owl. "Thanks girl," she said stroking the owl again.

Athena gave a little hoot and flew back up to the top of the tower. Fallon watched the little owl until she couldn't see her anymore. With that, she left the owlery in search of the perfect people for her last three pictures.

Alexandra tromped up the stairs and into the owlery. Whistling lightly and calling out,"Wasabi" She waited a bit impatiently for her owl to come to her.

Turning back to Lorcan she said, "We were just going to have a bit of fun Lorcan. Why is it that you care so damn much? Kay should not have said and done the things that she did. Gryffies aren't so forgiving, ya know" She crossed her arms across her chest and tapped a foot impatiently.

Lorcan followed Lexi into the owlery reluctantly. He could tell from the stiff, haughty way that she was walking that she was angry with him. He wasn't looking forward to this.

"Why do I care? You heard her Lexi, she's losing it!" He was rilled and he couldn't understand why Lexi was being so mean. "Her parents died and she doesn't even know how. Her grandmother could easily see off an acromantula. She's hurting Lexi and I know exactly how it feels. That's why I care. If you can't forgive her just leave her alone." he walked over to one of the glassless windows.

"I picked you. I don't want to be her best friend, I've hurt her, she's probably off out there somewhere, flying in the state that she was in, ready to fall off and break her neck and that will be my fault and all you can do is plan to dung bomb her and loosen her screws even more." He turned back to look at Lexi, a blazing yet watery look in his eyes. "Why are you being like this?"

Lexi rolled her eyes and sighed. Wasabi had finally come down to light on her shoulder, nipping her ear affectionately. Lexi pulled the letters from her robes, she had forgotten all about them earlier. She reached up and tied the rolled up parchments to her ankle and said to the owl, "One is for Auntie Dora and the other goes to mum and dad's. I know it's a long journey, but when you get back I will have some extra special treats for you girl." The bird hooted happily and after one last nip of her ear she took off in a great flutter of wings.

Turning back to Lorcan she said, "Why is everyone is so bloody dramatic around here? I am sorry that I upset you though, we just wanted to have a bit of fun. Pranksters that we are and all. If you think crybaby will go off the deep end though, fine I won't do it. But, I can't promise that it won't be done by someone else. I have no control over others." Her tone softened immensely. The last thing she wanted was to argue any further with her Nemean.

As if she were aware of how angry her mistress was with him, the owl cuffed him around the head as it flew out of the window.

He sighed deeply. "I'm not trying to be dramatic. You're the one who stomped out of the pub, not me. One of the things that really got to me about Kay was how intense she is. I couldn't stand it. She's just the wrong person to play a joke on. It'd be like throwing dung bombs at a little kid or something. I really do think that she will go off the deep end, but I get that if they are going to do it then there's nothing you can do to stop them. Please, just leave her alone. Not for her, but for me." He wanted to hug her but didn't want to go over to her. A tear mutinously rolled down his cheek and he turned to look out of the window, wiping it away.

"I don't like to have discussions like this in front of others, confrontation is not something you put on display. If I don't think I can hold my tongue for very much longer I will get up and walk away. It's better than embarassing someone or yourself, is it not." she said quietly. SHe hadn't meant to hurt Lorcan's feelings she was just wanted to make her point.

Walking over to him she put her hand on his arm and said, "It's okay to care about someone even though you are fed up woth them too. YOu can't go around defending her forever though, Lorcan. She has got to learn how to stand on her own two feet and have some backbone. Toughen up, you know." Rubbing her finger across his cheek where the tear had fallen she said in a whisper, "There is no use crying over someone so weak Lorcan, she does enough of that on her own." Then she leaned over and kissed his cheek again before turning to walk out and give him some privacy.

Lorcan agreed that he would wouldn't have wanted to have this conversation in public but didn't say so. He watched the speck in the sky that was Wasabi flying away. He felt Lexi's finger tracing the track of his tear and then her lips replace it. He blushed deeply and he felt like he had swallowed a load of butterflies. She turned to walk away from him but he caught her wrist. "Don't go Lexi. I'm... I'm sorry. It's just the thought of her falling." He lifted Lexi's hand to his lips and kissed it. "You're the most important friend I've ever had." He pulled her closer to him.

Lexi was quite frankly caught off guard when Nemean pulled her around and kissed her hand. Letting herself be pulled closer to him she said,"You are very important to me also, Nemean.I have never had a friend like you." She then leaned her head unto his shoulder and sighed.

As Lexi laid her head on his shoulder, the sweet smell of her hair tickled Lorcan's nose. He stroked it, his fingers becoming buried in the curls he had created. "I don't want to be without you. I'm just scared that I'll do something or say something and you'll never forgive me. And then I'll have to be without you." He wanted to kiss her, but he didn't dare.

And boys think girls are too sensitive! Looking at him she said,"I do not offend easilt, Lorcan. It would take quite a bit for me to be push so far that I would walk away from you. Stop worrying so. I am not a sensitive little girl and even if I do get angry, I calm down and let it go." Her eyes twinkled in the sunlight and she felt an urge to kiss his cheek again. Instead she reached over and took his hand.

She took his and and Lorcan let out a little laugh. "So, what happened to Gryffindors don't forgive easily? Or does that not apply to you and me?" He laced his fingers in between hers and gazed down at them. "You can understand why I worry though, can't you? I don't deserve a friend like you." he whispered unable to look at her. That's what his grandmother had told him.

"That rule only applies to enemies and people whom we do not care about, so no I suppose it does not apply to us." she answered with a little giggle.

She sighed exasperatedly and said to him, "what have you done to not deserve good friends, Lorcan? Having a row with someone does not make you a bad person."

Lorcan nodded. "I'll have to try and remember all the rules." He smiled softly.

"You're not just a good friend, you're... more than that." He blushed again. "It's not about Kay, forget about that. Before, I've never had a proper friend. I... I... I..." He knew what he wanted to say, but couldn't get the words off his tongue. Instead he kissed her cheek.

Alexandra blushed deeply and began to stammer, "Uh.. th.. thank... thank you Lorcan." She swallowed loudly, clearly befuddled and said quickly, "I uh just remembered I have some homework to start on. Thank you again Lorcan." Before she realized what she was doing she leaned over and planted a quick kiss right on his lips and took off as quickly as she could back to her common room.

Lorcan stood very, very still and watched Lexi rush away from him. Okay... I think she just kissed me. He walked across to the window and was delighted to see Athena flying back towards him. she landed on the windowsill. "Hello beautiful," he stroked her head softly. "Tell me, why are girls crazy?"

Athena blinked up at him and then flew off again, out to hunt. "Don't tell me then."
