"Sorry about that." he said looking at the bird. "Well, I got a girlfriend, went to Hogsmede, bought candy, and finshed all of my homework!" he said with a smile.

Nicoletta climbed up a few steps until she found Demitri. She patted his head and he hooted affectionately. She pulled out a pice of parchment and scribbledd on it hastily:

Yeah it was short but she didn't have time for a lengthy letter. She sent it off with Demitri. "Oh hey Fallon." She said

"Wow, that is an interesting week!" Fallon said grinning. She was happy that now she wouldn't have to worry about the way she was feeling the first time she met him because of Evan. Now Nate had his own girlfriend and they could hang out and be friends without her having any weird thoughts. "I just realized I haven't hung out with Evan in forever."

Fallon looked up as she heard her name. "Hey Nicoletta. Long time no see." she said smiling at the little firstie.

"That's your boyfriend right?" Nate said trying to hold a conversation. "Maybe we could double date or something sometime."

"Yeah, Evan's my boyfriend. A double date could be fun!" Fallon was happy he had suggested this. They would get to meet each other's boyfriend/girlfriend. She hoped Evan would like Nate seeing as he didn't seem to get along with her other friends. "So what's your girlfriend's name?"

"Her name is Kylie. She has the big beautiful green eyes." he said sighing. "She's a first year so we are taking it slow. Seeing how I am in fourth year."

Fallon nodded her head as he explained. She tried not to roll her eyes at the fact that he was dating someone three years younger than him. "She sounds nice." She tried to think of something else to talk about. She turned to Nicoletta to see if she was going to join in on the conversation.

"Do you want me to leave? You look a little stressed or something." he said picking up his bag. "I have to go to the Lake anyways. Why don't you and Evan come down there? Me and Kylie are gonna hang out there."

"You don't have to leave, but if you have to meet Kylie that's okay." Fallon smiled at Nate. "I'll try and see if we can come hang out with you guys. I should go look for him in the common room."

"Ok. See you around." he said with a smile. This hadn't gone completely how he had hoped but that was ok.

Fallon waved goodbye as he walked away. She pulled her journal out of her bag and began to write anything that she had missed since the last time she had written. She grinned and turned to Athena who was still on her shoulder. "I gotta go look for Evan now, girl. I'll come and visit you later." She watched Athena flutter back up to the ceiling. She waved goodbye to Nicoletta and headed back to the Slytherin Common Room.

Nate wondered up there to send a letter to his mom about the braclet.

Mina walked into the Owlery. She really had been neglecting her little pretty, Diana. She had been meaning to visit more, but lessons were appearing to be geting in the way. She did need to send her cousin a letter as well. She was looking forward to the summer with her favorite cousin on her father's side.

Glancing around for her little owl, she looked up into the rafters in hopes to see her. I'm sure, she's quite upset with me for not visiting more. Frowning, she kept looking as she walked around.

Looking down from the rafters, she noticed she wasn't alone. "Oh, hi. I thought I was the only one here."

"Oh. Sorry. I could leave if you want. I was on my way out anyways." he said picking up my bag.

Skylark walked into the Owlery.
"Lori! Lorelai! C'mere, I got something for ya!", she called, and her midnight-black owl swooped in, perching on her shoulder. Lori nipped at her ear impatiently.
"Oh, you naughty owl! Here ya go," Sky said, feeding it a piece of her breakfast roll.

Mina shook her head. "On no, you don't have to leave. I was just looking for my owl and really didn't expect anyone else to be here. Sorry if I came across rude." She didn't mean for it to come out that way. She did have a tendency to say things the wrong way as of late.

Mariel climbed the stairs to the owlery, intent on sending her weekly report to her father. Though she claimed to keep vigilant, the truth was that she had been quite distracted the past few months, a distraction in the form of a certain Gryffindor, and she had not been quite as observant as she had promised. But she still kept her promise to write and report weekly on the occurences of Hogwarts, not that she noticed anything strange going on - proving that she wasn't really paying all that much attention.

As the fourth year's feet walked over the feather-covered floor, she noticed a handful of students engaged in conversation. A quick nod to acknowledge their presence, Mariel strode over to a familiar spot in the room at which point her black owl, Pandora, flew down from her perch and alit on her shoulder, hooting expectantly. "I know what you want," she murmured to her owl as she dug out a few treats from her pocket and offered them to her pet. The fifteen year old then pulled out a piece of rolled-up parchment from her other pocket and guided her owl from her shoulder to a perch close by to facilitate tying the letter to her leg.

Zeke walked into the owlery, shivering slightly. Why hadn't he worn something other than a thinnish sweater?! He didn't have an owl, want one, or even need to use one. He just wanted to see who was around. He was slightly lonely.
He looked over and saw a younger Ravenclaw girl tying a letter to her owl's leg. "Hey," he greeted her with a smile. "How's it going?"

Once the parchment was secured to Pandora's leg, Mariel watched as the owl promptly took flight out the large open window. She stared after her for a moment, watching her grow smaller and smaller, then spun around, somewhat startled, as she heard a voice behind her - one that she was certain was addressing her.

"Oh... hello," the fifteen year old said with a hint of surprise, soon mirroring the older boy's smile. Leaning back slightly against the stone wall, she tilted her head to look at him closer. He looked vaguely familiar, a Gryffindor she was sure, though she wasn't certain of his name. "It's going... okay, I suppose," Mariel answered. Though she had been in a good mood lately, these weekly letters made her somewhat anxious. "And you? You look a bit cold..." Though the sun was shining brightly today and she was quite thankful for the departure of snow, some of the Spring days were still a bit too chilly for her taste.

Nathaniel didn't have his owl with him at school. He had opted to bring Vincent with him again. He owed his grandmother a letter. He hadn't sent her a letter in forever and he had felt about it. The Gryffindor finally made it up the stairs. To his surprise he saw Mariel...talking to another boy. Who the hell was that? It seemed that she had not heard him come up. Time for a bit of fun? She'd probably kill him. That was okay with the boy. He slowly crept up behind her. "BOO." he said as he touched her arm.

As she felt someone touch her arm, Mariel turned from the quiet Gryffindor boy to see yet another, more familiar, Gryffindor at her side. "Oh! Hey..." she greeted Nathaniel with some surprise having failed to notice his appearance until that very moment. "So... sending a letter?" the fourth year asked, fairly certain that he had opted not to bring his owl with him this term. What was his name again? That, the 15 year old did not remember. "I'd let you use Pandora," she offered, "but I just sent her off with a letter for my father." Mariel glanced behind her in the direction her owl had just left. Nathaniel would have to be satisfied with one of the school owls, though reliable, they were a bit slow.

Lena ? Lena, oh there you are come down here" said Alex entering the owlery." I got a little something for you" she said smiling as Lena nipped at her ears." Here" she said spreading her hand out wide as Lena ate the food on her palm as she stroked her back.

Nathaniel smiled at Mariel. "Yep. I've been neglecting my duties of writing to my Grandmother." he told her as he looked at the boy from his house. He didn't know him and he really didn't care to know him. "Wanna help me pick a bird?"he asked the Ravenclaw. "I feel like I've not seen you in forever." he added. He really did feel like he'd not seen her in forever. Plus they still hadn't kissed.. was that weird? He didn't know. He did know that he wanted to kiss her...

Lorcan walked into the owlery, spotting Athena roosting high up in the rafters. Making a soft clicking noise with his tongue to call her down. She opened one eye sleepily and then turned his back on her.

"Hey! Come down here please!" He said, rather annoyed by her behaviour.

Kylie was walking out of the owlery from sending a letter to her family when she saw Lorcan. She laughed, he seemed to be kind of irritated with his owl. "Hey, Lorcan." She said quietly, not wanting to disturb the rest of the owls. She really wished she had one.
