Thomas walked into the owlry searching for Jackie, his owl. He walked to the second floor hoping to find her somewhere. Jackie was there next to a window, and she seems to be full of energy. Thomas walked towards his owl and petted her he put half a sack of owl pellets next to her in case she was hungry. He looked outside the window and said to his owl, "Tomorrow you're going on your first trip of the year so get some rest Jackie." He petted her and walked down the stairs and out of the owlry.
The owlery, Rayedem thought. Ever since he thought of it when he was in the train, he had been dying to visit the place and send a letter to Tannya. It's the only hope I got. He had not enjoyed the journey, the feast, all because of this thought. If muggle ways of communicating don't work, then surely wizards' ways would, right? The thing is, he didn't have an owl of his own. So what am I gonna do, borrow someone else's? But I know nobody who has one..
Stepping into the room, Rayedem frowned. Ugh. The smell was funny. He used his hand to cover his nose from the smell. Then he walked on, looking around; there were some owls, of course, but Rayedem had no idea who their owners were. Sighing quietly, he walked to the window to breathe some fresh air.

Rayedem snapped from his musing; someone talked to him. What? I didn't even hear her coming. He was so deep in thought, he was missing Tannya. He looked at the girl who had just come to him, pulling himself from the wall he rested upon, and said, "Uh.. Hey, Ginny, I'm Rayedem." he stretched his right hand for her to shake, "First year, what about you?" he looked at her again, then added, "You have a nice owl."

Nce to meet you Rayedem!''She shaked his hand.''Well my mum gave her to me for my Birthday...''Ginny said as she was wathching her owl.''Yeah i'm in my First year too here and i'm still a bit nervous...But i really like it''She said as she smiled
Before Thomas left he noticed two first years talking, and he didn't want to miss it, "You know you two this is the worst place to find friends unless you're really desperate," he walked towards to the first years. "It might be good for chatting but the owls are not suppose to see this," he thought.

Rayedem returned Ginny's smile half-heartedly, and he said, "That's great. I'm a muggleborn, and my parents would never approve of an owl. When we visited the pet shop in Diagon Alley they only suggested that I get a cat.. Well, I don't like cats." he pressed his lips together and looked away, through the window. Being a muggleborn sucks, he thought. Why is he suddenly so bad-tempered? This is silly. This isn't like him at all. Careful, Edem, careful..
Okay. Enough. He sighed quietly, then looked back at Ginny.

The sound of another's voice made Rayedem looked up over Ginny's shoulders. Isn't he the boy I saw earlier, walking past me? Yes, he is.
"Hey." he said quietly, "We didn't mean to chat here, we just happened to be here."Yeah, of course. I didn't expect anyone but the owls to be here, did I?"But meeting new people never hurts, does it? I'm Rayedem." he ended, again stretching his right hand, flashing a smile like he always does.

Reason: I thought Thomas had already left XD

Ginny laughed''I don't like cats either''she looked him in the eyes''Hey just so you know i don't have a problem with you because you are Muggleborn.I think you're way better than some other Purebloods out there''and she winked him

Shrugging at Ginny's compliment about his blood status, Rayedem said, "Well, I don't know about that. I really have always felt inferior to you guys--," he paused for a while, wondering what he should say next: half-bloods or purebloods? Ah, well,"who have magical blood somehow," he finally completed the sentence, not sure if that was appropriate at all. Rayedem forced yet another smile as Ginny winked at him; he didn't know what else to do, if Tannya was there she'd probably dragged him by the ear and lectured him again about what he should have done, about behaving properly.

"Hey Rayedem," said Thomas in a regular tone. He walked closer to both of them and he said," Both of you just to tell you owls are not suppose to see or hear this they have feelings you know," he told them with a smirk and he acted like this is urgent. "No offense owls," he said looking at all of them. He continued talking to them, "If you want to talk exit the owlry and them continue snogging outside but make sure there are no teachers in the area okay," he teased.
Evan walked into the owlery, panting. Why was it soooo up stairs?! Evan thought he had a fit body as he played soccer since he was 4, but apparently he didn't. The stairs were too much! He stood by the door, leaning front to hold his stomach. He struggled for some more air and looked at the owls. The smell was horrible. And what made it even more horrible that Evan needed air so much but it made him feel nausea when he breathed. Just great. He held his nose and breathed from his mouth and just then did he realise Rayedem was there. The boy made him forget everything and he smiled at him, oblivious to the girl he talked to. "How are you doing?" he greeted, and just then he saw the girl. He bowed with his head slightly to the girl, and grinned to the other boy (Thomas) who'd just shown up. He then walked over some flat area to write his letter, face turned to them to show that he was up to conversation.

''You don't have to feel like this...we are all the same''she said.''god i hate those people who think they're better than others.you know i mean some Pureblood Slytherins.''she looked outside the window and thought smoe Slytherins who called her traitor because of talking to Muggleborns....''By the way i'm in Gryffindor''she said

Rayedem frowned. Snogging? What? What is this guy talking? Wait.. Oh, I see. Another misunderstanding. Right. As if I haven't already had enough of them. He didn't even tell us his name! How arrogant. Unfortunately by then he was tired, and frustrated, and he's got any other negative things going in both his mind and body that he refused to think rationally. I don't care.
"Look," he began, "I don't know what your problem is, but it seems that you came back here to annoy me," Rayedem paused for a second, and then furiously continued, "If it bothers you, or the owls, I'm gonna leave, well, I was just leaving anyway because having you in here really lifts up my mood." he said sarcastically, "See you, Mr Arrogant. See you, Ginny."
And with those words he stepped aside, but when he was about to storm away from the owlery, he saw a familiar face.. Evan!?

Feeling extremely sorry for having to act that way, he continued, "I'm sorry Evan, but I'm so tired right now." he forced a smile, but let go of a sigh of relieve. Good sign. "So.. I'll catch you later.. Okay? See you, it's very nice meeting you again."
He waved and resumed his steps outside the owlery.

"Hey I was only teasing," he said with a smirk hoping that he didn't hurt his feelings. He asked himself "Why do firsties take everything so serious?" He turned to the girl and said, "Nice knowing you," hopefully he'll meet Raydem in the common room and he'll apologize to him for what he said. He walked out of the owlry and began walking towards the common room.

Evan glowered at the boy (Thomas). What was he saying to Rayedem? He was about to step up and say some unhealthy things when Rayedem spoke up for himself. Good boy. Evan grinned when he spoke up. Seriously, this guy hadn't seen any snoggling in his life. He should watch Iris before he talked.
But it hurt to see Rayedem upset. He didn't deserve to be upset! But there was nothing for Evan to do if he wanted to leave. "Okay... See you around." he said and waved back as he left. Well, as everyone left. He was alone again.
He sighed and turned back to his letter.
'Dear mom and dad;
I'm pretty fine, and I'm writing to tell you about my feast. It was wonderful. I have so much fun here! And the Slytherin common room--what an awesome place, right under the lake! Everything you've mentioned about this castle is true, here is wicked awesome! Well I gotta go now, but I'll keep you updated if anything happens.
Love,
Evan.'
He found an owl and tied his letter, then stood there to watch it fly to Liverpool. He'd have sighed, but he didn't. Because he hadn't missed his home even a bit. He walked out of the owlery too, happy to be here. Now to find Fallon or and Lyra...
Kloe walked into the owlery. It had been a long walk. She hadn't seen her snowy owl Klairie since she got on the Hogwarts Express. She had missed her so she went to see her. When she found Klairie, Klairie gave her a small peck on the hand. Kloe feed Klairie and sent a letter to her parents to tell them how her time at Hogwarts had been going.
There Godric was! Ellie ran over to him, rather scary the owls a little because she was running. She called him over and he sat on her shoulder. "Hi Godric!" she said. "Oh, are you OK? Are the other owls nice to you? I hope they are. Have you made some nice owl friends? Anyway, I know we've only just got here, but I want you to send this letter to Mummy and Daddy OK? You know where to go!" She attached a letter she'd written late last night, it was rather scruffy, but still.
"Dear Mummy, Daddy and Joseph. I have been sorted into Gryffindor! Just like you predicted, Daddy, although I'm still a little surprised the Sorting Hat did mention that my family had been sorted into Gryffindor and that I would do well here and that I belong in it and the Sorting Hat has never been wrong, right? Anyway, everyone is nice so far. The common room is just how you described it Daddy! And the beds are very soft and comfortable. I'm looking forward to starting my classes. The feast was yummy, but Mummy you were right, not many vegetarian options. Never mind, the treacle tart was out of this world. Hope you are all OK, I miss you all dreadfully and love you lots and lots and lots and lots. Love Ellie xxx
She watched as Godric gave a soft hoot and then fly off. Watching him fly out of sight, she then left the owlery, keen to get out because of the smell!
Timothy walked slowly into the owlery to find Uriel his small black owl. He walked carefully, as to not step in droppings, until he saw the small shape of Uriel huddled with Timothy's brother's owl Raphael. He coaxed Uriel down after a while and attached this message written is Russian to his cousin Nath,
SPOILER!!: actual letter non English translation
Good day comrade cousin, my time here so far has been difficult, but I have made some friends, including Tavelon Martimus (I believe that you might know a relative of his at the Ministry, a Blackstone?), and I have also gotten to know a good many others, also I have gooten sorted into the house of the Raven, (Ravenclaw?). I hope that you have had a good time there at he ministry.
Timothy
PS: could you send me lots of candy?
Timothy attached the letter and sent it off to his Cousin at the ministry, he then looked around at the rest of the people dotted around the owlery....nothing to say to them, so he walked out and back to the rest of Hogwarts...
Tibi climbed up to the Owlery with a pocketful of treats for Pidgin. He hadn't seen her barely at all since Mum bought her. He had learned to call her, though, so when he reached the top, he dug into his pocket, held out one treat, offered his other arm as a perch, and whistled. "Here, Pidg!"
A soft hoot and the flutter of her tiny wings replied as she flew down to greet him, perching on one arm and taking the offered treat from the other. Tibi ruffled her feathers. "That's a good girl," he said gently as she nudged his chest with her head. He offered her another treat. They were a good set, Pidg and Tibi... small and unassuming, and both rather gentle.
"Do you feel like going on a trip, Pidg?" Tibi asked his owl, as he dug around in his pocket. "I have a letter for Mum... can you do that?" Pidgin hooted cheerily as she stuck out her leg for the letter in resonse. Tibi tied it on gently and then offered her another treat.
Carrying her on his arm over to the window, Tibi ruffled her feathers again. "You're the best, Pidg." The owl gave Tibi a small nip - of affection, Tibi presumed - and began her flight. Tibi stood at the window watching until she became a speck against the sky and then disappeared.

OHMEGEE! OHMEGEE!
That was pretty much all Livvy thought about as she ran through the hallways and up the stairs and to the Owlery. She jumped up the steps, her hand sliding up the railing and her eyes wide with excitement. Her pigtail bounced up and down with each step she jumped over until she finally reached the owlery.
Livvy had been wanting a crup or a lizard, but they weren't for her. In the end, she got a new owl since Anonymous had died because... well... he just did. She wasn't quite sure how exactly he died... but the bird was definitely a goner. But Livvy was sure she was going to take care of her new owl. Andros. YAH. After the wizard Andros the Invicible... cuz' her Andros was invincible. CHYYEAAH.
As she made her way into the owlery, she noticed that already, the owlery was crowded with many people. She stepped around the students and swerved around until she found her owl and it's glossy white feathers. Invincible, right?
"Andros! Honey... did you miss me?" Livvy cooed, scratching his head gently as she looked behind the owl for the package that she had been expecting. She had been waiting forever for it and now the time had come.
Ah.
There it was. Her guitar. Giving the owl a little kiss on the head, Livvy reached behind him and pulled out the black guitar case and heaved it onto the floor. How much she had missed it. She hadn't been able to touch her guitar for over a year! She hugged the case where the neck of the guitar was located. Unlike her violin where she took it everywhere she went and was more portable and convenient, Livvy left her guitar at home, but this time, Mari had sent it to Hogwarts.
Grinning cheekily to herself, she slung the guitar case strap over her shoulder and after giving Andros another affectionate and gentle scratch, she headed back out of the Owlery and towards the Ravenclaw Common Room.

Destiny walked up to the owlery with a letter in her hand. She hasn't seen her owl, Travis, for a couple days.
She made her way over to where her little owl was sitting, gently patting a couple owls as she passed them.
Travis had to be the smallest owl in the whole owlery.
She walked over to where Travis was perched and eating a spider. Travis was so excited to see Destiny. He dropped his half eaten spider and flew right onto Destiny's shoulder.
'Aww Travis! I missed you!' Destiny told him as the owl snuggled into her neck. 'Can you get this letter to my parents?'
Travis wooted excitedly snatching the letter out of her hands and flew off instantly.
Destiny stood there until her little owl couldn't be seen anymore.
Grace walked into the owlery. She had written a letter for her parents and was now looking for one of the school olws. Why didn't her parents bought her an own owl?, she thought by herself.
K came into the owlery to see her owl Vella. "Hi Vella how are you today?" She said. She so so happy to see her beautiful Vella. "I hope you are doing very well today" K said as she petted her lovely black owl. She then took treats out of her pocket. "Here are some treats for you for being such a great girl. I love you Vella and I'm so glad to have you as my owl!" K then had to go she was meeting up with someone soon.
