" Nice one" she said smiling as the girl she knew, Anya has successfully transformed her peep. |

Pleased that the class as a whole seemed to be experiencing more successes than problems, Svensson raised his voice so he would be heard over the incantations and congratulations the students were exchanging. "If you haven't already, go ahead and try the spell on your chess piece now. Or your marshmallow rabbit, if you started with your chess piece," he instructed. |

Kylie took a deep breath, she focused again on the task at hand. Imagining her muggle chess piece hoping to life, she took the king and placed it in front of her. Doing the half circle and flicking her wand towards the piece she said, "Piertotum Locomotor", repeating what she'd done earlier to the peep exactly. A smile broke out onto her face as she saw the king liven with life. He walked around the board once, almost as surprised as she was. He looked at her and gave a little wink. Kylie laughed. She'd have to tell Nate about that one later. She stuck up her pointer finger to the king as if to give him a high-five. The king understood and.. well, they high-fived. |

"M'kay, I can do this." Becca said "Not a problem at all." She pointed her wand at the chess piece sitting on her desk and said,"Piertotum Locomotor!" At first nothing happened, but then, it got up and started walking around!! It was as if it were a wizarding chess piece. Wow! She actually liked this class, because she could do well in it, very much unlike potions! |

"Piertotum Locomotor." She laughed when her piece stood to attention. |

What she hadn't counted on, of course, was her wand jamming itself into the peep instead of just being aimed towards it. Not realized that she'd poked the little creature, LouAnn jerked her wand back towards her, accidentally sending the marshmallow peep flying across the classroom towards Merlin only knew where. "...oops." |
Jack hadn't been paying full attention during this lesson...he didn't MEAN to space off, but his mind was too wrapped around the little astronomy group they were thinking of forming. He wondered if they could actually get away with learning some stuff this year, when his attention was brought back to him by Svenson, who had moved on in the lesson. Whooooops. He moved his wand in a half circle motion, then jabbed it at his peep. "Piertotum Locomotor," he said. He watched as the peep stood up and started walking around in cirlces on his desk, and he grinned. Could he keep it as a pet?! Wouldn't be the first time a creature from one of their classes stowed away in his bag.... THUNK! "Ouch!" he muttered, turning around as something hit his head. He looked at the floor and saw a murdered peep on the ground! EEEEP! Poor little guy...giant flesh wound in the middle of his marshmallow stomach. Dead before he even had a chance to live. Sniff. He looked around to see...LouAnn, who was marshmallowless. He should have known. He picked up the peep and set it on her desk. "Ermm...I think this is yours," he said, before hurrying back to his desk before the peep walked right into his bag. |

"Piertotum Locomotor" She moved her wand accordingly and flicked. The knight piece was quicker to respond than the Peep, and began galloping around the desk with its little metal sword raised. It was adorable. Of course, Marilyn had other ideas as she ordered the chess piece to approach the peep. The marshmallow stopped tumbling when the tiny knight poked it forcefully with its sword. After a moment, the marshmallow squeaked and started bouncing away with the knight hot on its trail. Marilyn couldn't keep her glee in check as an excited giggle escaped her lips. This was vastly entertaining... |

Sky looked at some students and got an idea. "Anya, Alex! Bet my peep can run faster than yoourss!" she grinned mischieviously. "Go!" The peep ran stupidly round the desk. She started on her rabbit, saying the same ol' incantation-thingy. She clapped her hands excitedly when it came to life. "HOP!" It obeyed. |

He then focused on the marshmallow at hand and said the incantation. Piertotum Locomotor and then the peep sprang to life. It then walked towards LouAnn and danced its way there. |
Yeeeep. Everybody had the hang of the spell. "Okay, everyone," Svensson said loudly, trying to get their attention. "You can keep practicing in here for a bit if you'd like, but I'm going to give you your homework now!" He turned to the board and meticulously recorded their assignment. Quote:

Destiny giggled when Evelyn made her peep bother her's who was still flexing. Maybe she could keep hers animated. It was too cute! Destiny heard that they could use the spell on the chess pieces. She grabbed her wand and did the movement and said the words and the chess piece came to life. She didn't know what the chess piece was called, but it looked like a horse. She wanted to see if the 'horse' could get dizzy so she made it hop around in circles. Then she heard the dreadful, awful word- homework. 'Nooo!' She took out a quill and parchment to write down the work but had a better idea. Pointing her wand at the flexing rabbit she said 'Hold this quill.' The quill was a little too heavy for it and the rabbit fell down. 'So much for that. It'll be easier if I do it.' |
Becca cleared up her place before writing up the homework. She wrote quickly and stuffed the quill and parchment into her bag. She picked up all of her books, pushed in her chair and made to leave. Before crossing the threshold though, Becca smiled and said, "Thanks Professor Svensson! I had a great time; this lesson was pretty fun." And with that, she was off. |
EEP. x3 Oh. Right. Time to practice the spell. Remembering that she was in class, Livvy shook herself awake and pulled out her wand as she stared at the chess pieces and that marshmallow bunny thingie. Um. Um. So how was she supposed to do this? SEEEE... that's why you listen in class. Scolding herself for not paying enough attention to the professor, Livvy glanced around to see what the others were doing. Yeah. Um. She could do that. After studying LouAnn's wand movement, she held up her wand, aiming it at the little dude. Then she twirled the wand around in a clockwise half-circle wand motion and flicking it at the chess piece. "Piertotum Locomotor!" Livvy said, forcefully and HOORAH! She wasn't quite sure how to control it, but she managed to get the chess piece to dance around a little before flying off towards the professor. Eep. Sorry Professor Svensson. Blushing slightly, Livvy turned to the marshmallow bunny as she stared it down, placing her hands on her hips as she still held onto her wand with her right hand. It was going DOOOOWWWNN. Repeating the wand movement for the chess piece, she flicked her wand and said, "Piertotum Locomotor!" The marshmallow immediately went to life and Livvy willed it to do the disco. Ah. Beginner's luck, she presumed. She wasn't quite sure how to stop it though, so she just stuffed her wand back into her robes and let it keep going until it did. Livvy then pulled out a piece of parchment and jotted down the homework assignment. Once she gathered all her things, Livvy began to walk away from her desk. "Bye Professor Svensson. Thanks for the great lesson," she said, cheerily, waving at him briefly before exiting the classroom. |
Evelyn snickered when she saw what looked like Destiny try to make her rabbit write the homework for her. "Come back little one." she spoke to her still hopping rabbit, and turning her attention back to her own chess piece. It looked like the queen piece, but she wasn't so sure. She knew the rules and had a good idea of what the pieces looked like, but she never really seen them. Before she wrote the homework down, she pointed her wand at the piece and said, "Piertotum Locomotor." Like before, it took a few seconds before the piece came to life and when it did, it looked crossly at Evelyn, making her frown. "What?" Shaking her head, she wrote down the homework, ignoring the chess piece that seemed to be trying to correct her writing...or something..."Go away." Evelyn mumbled, putting her things away and picking the queen piece up while waiting for Destiny. |
"Yes, Thanks Professor. It was great fun." Kay said still laughing at the chess pieces. Kay looked at Marie to see if see wnated to keep going or go start on homework. Kay grab her quill and started writing it down. |
