Arianna pouted as she watched people making pairs. She crossed her arms over her chest and with a firm pace she got herself a wooden plank and returned to her table, a determined look on her face as she placed it right in the middle and flexed her fingers, getting ready to try the spell.

Fred noticed a young Slytherin who seemed a little upset not to have a partner yet and went over to her and said, "I'll be you're partner if you like"..

Nataly smiled at her, and went to take the wooden plank. She returned to Lyra and put the plank on the table. "Well, um.. What do we do now?" she asked.

Lyra sat back on her chair when Nataly went to grab a plank and waited. She tapped with her fingers on the table and had to admit that Nataly was fast when she was at her table again. The second year watched how Nataly placed the plank on the table and looked at it. "Eh, well the professor had said something about a Deprimo spell...but he hadn't said anything that we had to start..so we just got to wait for the professor's further instructions?" she said and glanced towards Professor Svensson for a moment and then turned back to check the plank.

He looked over to her and smiled, "Ditto" he looked around the class, giving it a once over before looking back to them. "So you're both first or second years or something?"

"We ca-" Nataly started to say, but then something white and wet hit her in the back of her head. She gasped, and her hand shot automatically to her hurting hand. She grabbed some of the something that hit her, and looked at it. She gasped. "Snow!" she shouted. She looked at the window, and saw it was snowing outside, the strong wind bringing large amounts of snow into the classroom.

Theo smiled as Rafe's friend needed a partner. "Hey. I need a partner. Want to be mine?"

Arianna was so concerned with being alone that suddenly she had two boys offering to be her partner without even noticing it, she smiled at the first one talking, relieved " Yes, I'd love it, I was feeling rather alone" but when she turned to the second one she gasped lowly and a rush of heat started growing from the base of her neck, making her blushing. Theo. She gagged " I.. well thank you, do you mind us being a group of three??" she suggested moving her fingers in her hair nervously " I... I already have the wooden plank!" she said to both of them and giggled once.

Theo nodded, "Three is fine." He smiled at the young girl. He wasn't sure of her name. But she was Rafe's best friend. Evil evil Rafe. "Ok. So you have the plank, we should rest it on something. Do we have boxes?"

"No not yet" she said, her cheeks burning " should we get some?" she asked him. He looks fine.. right? Doesn't seem like he's missing a lung. Not now at least... I wonder if he's ok.. she was shifting her weight from foot to foot, nervously. Should she ask him about the incident? Would he mind? Anyway, now it's not the time, focus Ariana!

"We could balance it between two tables," Theo suggested. "That way we don't have to get boxes." He smiled. She was looking at him funny. Oh well. Maybe she just thought he was stupid. Or still dying. One of the two. Probably the latter.

Her stomach pirouetted as he smiled. That surprised her, she had never had that kind of feelings. She shook her head, not that discreetly and agreed with him " You're probably right, let me do it" and she lifted the wooden plank and balanced it between her table and the next one. " This way we're going to be able to cut it properly right?" she said to him. Her glasses were starting to get a little foggy from the heat emanating from her cheeks, she took them out and cleaned them to her sweater " I've never used this spell before, have you?" she asked the almost undistinguishable figure he now was, since she didn't have her glasses on.

Gloves? Why? For protection from cold? See, that was good. Evan grabbed his gloves and placing his wand on his desk, he put them on. Ooooh, warmness. Oh-warmness!

Pair up? Like again? Why did every lesson need some group to go on? Why couldn't teachers just see the obvious fact that some people sucked in friendships, therefore couldn't find a partner easily? Luckily though, he was on his good day. Rayedem asked him before he could pair up with some silly Hufflepuff again. Relieve. He grinned at him and nodded quickly, already heading to the box that contained the planks, and grabbed one. Back to his fellow friend Rayedem, he asked "Any ideas?"

He shook his head, "I have never used it either. I haven't used many spells actually." He shrugged. He wasn't fussed at his lack of spell knowledge. The ones he could do, he could do them well. "Do you know what the incantation is?" He had missed it. He just knew he was blasting a hole in wood. Maybe they should get protective glasses. Like quidditch goggles.

Laughing loudly Josh hit Evan from the back of his neck. ''Today's Friday, protect your bottom Evaneyy'' he said ''That's my idea about you'' leaning back against his seat, he started to whistle as if nothing happened.

Zoe sat expectantly in her seat stretching her neck in order to look around to see if anyone was left that needed a partner. It seemed as though everyone was already partnered or in groups of three.

She really hated finding a partner, but enjoyed working in groups. Twirling her long dark hair between her fingers nervously she waited to find someone to work with.

"We're using deprimo I think, I've read about it, but I've never used it, my mum doesn't allow me to do magic at home, in case some accident happens..." and she froze. Accidents with magic do happen. " Are you ok? I heard what happened, I got so worried, there was absolutely nothing I could do, I felt so useless.." she ended up asking, unable do restrain her curiosity. She got closer to him and prayed that Rafe didn't listen to her talking, or even see her, otherwise he might get into another meltdown of guild.

"Ah ok. Deprimo," he memorised. He had to remember that one. And then she asked him. "I am fine. It hurts to breathe. But Melita gave me a new lung. I had to grow it and everything. But I am fine."

K looked around the class, "Hey dose anyone need a partner?" K asked worried she would miss out if she didn't have a partner.

BAM! Super-Jake does it again.

Mad skillz, yo. Mad skillz.

"Ced," Jake smiled, looking at the boy and decided to stick to monosyllabics, because... well, he could barely talk at the moment. "'Kay... so... box... box... plank."

Nod.

Herminny noticed a Slytherin who was asking for a partner and went up to the Slytherin and said, "I'd be happy to be you're partner.".

Evan gasped at the sudden attack. He quickly turned around to see Lyra hitting him again for God-knows-why, but he found it was Joshua who did it. He just stared, and was oddly calm. He peeked at the professor to see if he would do anything at this attack, and continued staring at Joshua with a worried expression. He was a child, but Evan wasn't. He wouldn't answer this violent attack, and get detention. Nope, he would just keep staring as if he was trying to understand if Joshua was sane or not. That stare should make him uncomfortable, if he was sane and knew etiquette.

"Thanks Hi I'm K, what's your name?" K said to the Gryffindor girl.

"No problem, I'm Herminny, whats you're name?"

"I'm Kaplinski but you can Call me K, I like going by that better easier too."
