Livvy laughed in delight as Torin played along with her, cheering also and pumping his fists into the air. Boy... was she glad that they met up. This was so fun... it had been a long time since she had felt so happy. She was either too depressed about the whole Rachel and Reid ordeal or was too absorbed in school. Which was odd... because for a Ravenclaw, Livvy was unusually lazy about schoolwork.

OHMERLIN'SBEARD. They really WERE brain twins.

The Ravenclaw gasped and nodded her head as if in shock and amazement. "YES! Adrienne! That's the girl!" she said, nodding her head, clapping her hands as she jumped up and down once more. "She is pssssyyychic. It's craaazeh." Livvy actually wasn't sure if the girl was psychic. It was just a theory. Along with the stalker theory. But that was a looonnnng story. Livvy wasn't even quite sure how it had formed anymore.

Livvy just shrugged and shook her head, brushing her hair out of her face with her hand. "I was able to finish the first. Just not the second. ACK. The second was ssssoooooooooo boring. The plot would've been cute if the lady had her facts right and had her head screwed on right," she said, scrunching up her face in a look of disgust. She grinned. "So... how many siblings do you have?" Livvy asked, slightly confused. One? Two? Twenty?

She grinned as she tried to cook up some celebrities in her mind at that exact moment. "It's pretty easy to buy a present for me. I go with za floooow," Livvy said, swishing her hands around in the air as if she were interpretive dancing. "But you don't HAAAVE to get me a present, Torin. WE only met like... ten, twenty minutes ago," she said, smirking.

"AAAAH!" Samson screamed, and fell on his bum when the girl finally opened her eyes and cried out as well. This was turning out to be one of the weirdest days ever. First Shana, and now this! Dear Merlin, Hogwarts wasn't the same place anymore.

And then, when she faced him, Samson realized it was the poop-glue girl from Astronomy class. Already, he had scrougify in mind. Just to be prepared. Meh.

"Hi?" He was definitely reluctant. "What the heck are you doing on the floor?" He asked as he got up himself, still staring at the girl who lay on the ground.

"Tired, duh," Said Lucille simply. Why else would she be lying on the floor? Maybe this kid was one twig short of a bowtruckle..if you know what i mean.

She thought about getting up. Eh, but she was already on the floor. Getting up woulf be effortsome.

"Ive only been trodden on once, and that was by you," she snickered. "What you doing?" She said, looking at him sideways.

Lorcan walked out of the hospital wing and started to stride down the corridor. He wanted to get back to the common room and away from that Slytherin before she could come and shout at him.

Lexi saw Lorcan coming down the hall and called out to him, "Hey Nemean. Where you been?"

Marie followed Lorcan out into the hall hoping to catch him before he got too far away. "Lorcan, please stop, I need to talk to you" she said as she spotted him walking ahead of her. She hoped he would stop long enough to listen to her.

Oh Merlin! This could get really nasty! His head swivelled between the girls, momentarily unable to answer either of them. "Kay's ill and the healers needed to know everything." he said to Lexi. He turned to Marie and said "I've got nothing to say to you. You can't make me feel any worse than I already do." He walked towards Lexi, reaching out for her hand to pull her away from Marie.

Alexandra narrowed her eyes at the Slythie and then said to Lorcan, "Well, I hope she's okay." She refused to move though. quite curious what the girl had to say

"I don't want to make you feel bad. I just want to talk to you about something, alone. If it wasn't for Kay I wouldn't even bother you but I think there are some things you need to know."
Marie looked at Alexandra as if to say 'go away, you're not invited into this conversation.'

"Lexi, come on." He pulled at her arm again, determined to part the girls and get away from any confrontation that Marie had in mind.

"If it's about her parents I know. Lexi, please, let me deal with this. I'll see you in a bit." He looked at her impoloringly "Please."

"It's not about her parents, it's about......" 'well gee, how do I say this with Alexandra standing here?' she thought. "It's about ummm........me. I need to tell you something about me and I would like to talk to you alone if that is ok with your friend here." Marie said looking at Alexandra.

Lorcan gave Lexi a little push. "Go on, I'll catch you up." He winked at her. "I won't be long, I promise."

He turned back to Marie. "Well?"

Alexandra stared the stupid Slythie down and simply jerked her hand from Lorcan's and stomped off. Before getting too far out of range she said to the girl, "If you hurt his feelings or upset him in any way you will have me to answer to and I promise you it won't be pretty." She then flipped her lond blonde hair and continued to stalk off.

"First off I want to say that Kay has no idea I am talking to you about any of this. I am doing this because I am her friend and I want to see her happy. I know that the two of you have not been getting along lately. We went to Hogsmeade together the other day and she told me a little about what was going on. She doesn't understand why Alexandra hates her so much, and to be honest I don't either. All I know is that when Alexandra confronted Kay at Honeydukes last week she was accusing her of talking bad about her in class. The truth is, I was the one who said something, Kay never said one word about her. She then told me about Alexandra stopping her in the hall to yuor common room and telling her she better watch out. She asked me if I thought she should confrint her and I told her to just let it go, not to bother her but I don't know what she is goign to do.
Then earlier today I found her on the steps in the entrance hall and she looked really terrible. I tried getting her to go to the hospital wing but all she wanted to do was go to the common room. She kept mumbling something about the two of you yelling and not being friends anymore and that she had fallen when she was cleaning the broom shed."
Marie looked at him wondering if he was even listening to her, she knew she was blurting out a lot right now but she wanted him to understand how Kay was feeling.

Lorcan listened to Marie and sighed. He was so sick of all this drama. "Alexandra got mad because she overheard Kay saying some stuff about her in the courtyard too. I tried to tell Kay that she was wrong, that Alexandra was cool, but she just wouldn't listen." he ran his hand over his face.

"Kay hasn't eaten for a few days, she got herself all upset. I tried to get her to eat at dinner but then we had a disagreement about another girl, Abigail. I don't like her. I walked away so that I wouldn't upset her even more but then I bumped into her by the lake. I'm fed up of it all Marie, I'm sick of her trying to control me and tell me who should and shouldn't like. I just hate that and I finally lost my temper. We ended up shouting at each other and she threw up. I told her not to fly but clearly she did. Her problem is that she never tells anyone the whole truth about anything. She thinks I hate her, I don't but I give in. It's too complicated. I came to the hospital wing to make sure that the Healers knew everything, so that she can get better." He looked at her, waiting for her to respond.

"Be honest, if someone confronted you and said to watch yourself would you think they were cool? Would you want to trust them? Alexandra may be a 'cool' person like you say but she shouldn't have confronted Kay in the hall like she did. Wasn't it bad enough that she did it at Honeydukes?
As for who you two are friends with, who cares if you each have friends that the other doesn't like? You don't like Abigail and Kay isn't really that fond of Alexandra at the moment but does that mean you two can't still be friends? Look I can tell by looking at you that you care about Kay and I know she cares about you. She told me she thinks of you as a great friend, she said she has even told you things that she hasn't told me. I just think the two of you need to sit down and talk once she is feeling better. Maybe she will never be friends with Alexandra or you with Abigail but don't let that come betwen the two of you if you truly want to be her friend. If Alexandra is as great as you say she is and Abigail is as great as Kay says she is then they shouldn't have a problem with you and Kay being frineds. If they do have a problem with it then maybe they aren't the great friends you two think they are."
Marie looked at Lorcan just wondering what was going through his mind. She knew that Kay was really hurting over all this, that she missed the friendship she had with him. Marie just wasn't sure if she was saying the right things to make him understand.

Lorcan was starting to get really annoyed with constantly having to justify himself to all these girls. "Listen to me. Do you think that Kay is the only sensitive person in this castle? Alexandra did nothing to you or Kay and all you could do was talk about her and make her feel like she was..." he tailed off "Neither me nor Alexandra are saying that what she did was a nice or right. I think it was mean and I've told her so. But this isn't about her or Abigail. This is about me and Kay. She's the one who's caused this. She just wants me to do what she wants me to do and think what she wants me to think and to be a good boy. Well I'm not going to put up with it Marie. He was really angry now and was talking faster than he was thinking. "I care about her, my Dad's dead so I know how she feels and she seems to think that means that I've got to be at her beck and call. I want her to be well, but I can't be friends with someone who wants a lap dog." He took a step away from Marie. "And for the record, Alexandra hasn't stopped me being friends with Kay. Kay has stopped me being friends with Kay."

Not knowing what he should say on the Adrienne topic, he figured that it was always best to play it safe. "I totally think you're right. Maybe she's a Seer or something." Only he and a few others knew that this wasn't true, but he couldn't give up Ad's secret even if he liked Livvy. So he just went along with her, pretending to believe something that he really didn't.

He wasn't surprised that the second book was just as boring as the first. "What did she manage to screw up in that book? I never let Dani talk about the novels around me so I have no idea. And I have two sisters. You have any siblings?" He almost forgot that he never even asked her that.

"I want to get you a present if you are making me one. An I think I know what to get you too." He smiled and hoped that she liked chocolate. Maybe?

"A lap dog? You think she wants to be your friend just so she can tell you what to do? Wow, you really don't know her very well at all then do you. I'm sorry about your dad, and to be honest, I didn't know about Kay's dad until you told me. Maybe that's why she felt a stronger connection with you, since you have both lost a parent." 'That must have been what she meant when she said she had told him things she hadn't told me.' Marie couldn't believe what she was hearing, she was trying to make peace between Kay and Lorcan and now here he was getting mad at her. "The only reason she is upset about you and Abigail is because you want her to forgive Alexandra but you're not willling to do the same for her and forgive Abigail for whatever it is she did to you. You keep telling her how wonderful Alexandra is yet you won't even listen to her about Abigail. Did you ever stop to think that maybe Abigail was having a bad day when she did whatever it was to you? Obviousley Abigail did something to make you mad, but Alexandra made Kay mad too, actually she more like scared her more than made her mad. So where is the difference here? You want her to forgive someone, she wants you to forgive somene. Neither one of you are willing to budge on that yet you say she is the one who wants a lap dog." Marie couldn't help but wonder what on earth Abigail could have done to make Lorcan so mad at her, whatever it was she was sure it wasn't anything that couldn't be forgiven.
"Look I didn't follow you out here to argue with you, I just wanted to try and help you and Kay out but I can see you are not ready to listen to what anyone has to say. You only want to see your side of the story and no one else's. I don't have a problem with you or Alexandra but Kay is my friend too and I don't want to see her hurting. Right now she thinks you hate her and that is why she is so upset. Maybe while she is in the hospital the two of you will do some thinking about if you really want to be friends or not. I still think you both need to talk and get everything out in the open, even if you two decide not to be friends. After all you are in the same house so you will be running into each other. Do you want to have to go around wondering what could have happened with your friendship if you don't talk it out with her?"
Marie had nothing left, she didn't know how to make him understand that Kay didn't want to control him. She had given it her best shot, now it was up to Kay and Lorcan to work out their problems. Marie knew she couldn't tell them who to be friends with or how to feel, she could only tell them what she knew and what she thought, hopefully that would be enough to save their friendship.

"You've got all the answers haven't you Marie? Well let me make it plain. I can't put up with all this drama. I can't stand it. She has made herself ill. I've tried to talk to her and she won't listen. I said what you've said, that we can be friends and leave Alexandra and Abigail out of it but she couldn't leave it alone, she kept chipping away and trying to convince me. I've got no interest in Abigail. I know that she's in my house but I'd rather sleep in the Great Hall than give up my friendship with Lex-Alexandra. I just want to have friends and I really don't think that Kay can be one of them. You don't know how it was between me and her, you only know what she's told you. It's not my fault if she's still hiding things from you. Good luck with her Marie, 'cos she's mental." He turned to walk away.

This girl was making about as much sense as a bunchie (:bnawtf, and that in itself didn't make much sense at all. Ah well. Samson had now realized that most of the girls in Hogwarts didn't make any sense at all.

"Well, you can't really blame me! It's not every day I stumble upon a girl lying on the floor, in the middle of a busy corridor like it was nobody's business. And I mean stumbling in the literal sense," he exclaimed in disbelief. It was like it was perfectly normal for her to be doing such a thing. And from the looks of it, that seemed to be the case.

"Me? I'm still dwelling on the fact that Hogwarts won't ever be normal." And it was true, he supposed.

Livvy thought about the Seer thing. Maybe that was possible... but didn't Seers like tell the future? Seers didn't read minds. "That... could work, I guess. Though Seers predict future events don't they? Not necessarily read minds," she said, thoughtfully. With a glanced at Torin's face, she could tell that he was slightly getting uncomfortable with this topic. He was hiding something. Livvy didn't know what, but she decided that she wouldn't push him to tell her. None of her beeswax.

Screw up? Oh YEAH she did. Livvy rolled her eyes and said, "There were like a hundred pages worth of Bella's moping. Edward left her, don't blame him, to 'protect' her." Air quotes! "And all she does is wallow in her self-pity. I got bored reading that part. Who cares about her problems?! There's other problems in the world that are more important!" BLEEECHH. Seeelfish.

Siblings? Well. YEAH she had siblings. "Um. Yeah. I live in a foster family, so there's a lot of kids. I have six foster siblings," Livvy said, nodding her head. Was Torin the first one to know about her living in a foster family? Livvy believed so. She didn't think Rachel knew about it either. Then again. She never asked.

Livvy snorted. "It's a list of famous celebrities," she said, laughing. Not exactly the top wanted present in the world. "But if you insist," she said, winking at him. "Oooohhh.. you do?" Livvy said, excitedly. Preesents! She loooooved presents.

"I don't have any of the answers here, I am just trying to tell you that Kay feels bad for what has been happening between the two of you, she misses your friendhship" Marie said as Lorcan was turning away from her.'Why am I even bothering with this? It's not like he is listening to me anyway.' "I know it's not your fault there are things I don't know about her, and I don't expect to know everything about her. You're right, I do only know what she has told me about the two of you but like I said, she has told me that she misses your friendship." Marie took a deep breath, at least Lorcan had turned back around and was looking at her again. "Listen, you do what you want, I'm not your keeper, I can't tell you or anyone what to do. I can however tell you what I think and what I know. From the little that I do know about the two of you I think you would make good friends if you can get over the problems you have right now. But that will never happen if you guys don't talk. Look, I have homework to do so I need to get back to my common room. I hope you and Kay work things out cuz if you don't this could be a long 7 years for the two of you."
As Marie started to walk away she told Lorcan "Good luck with the two of you, I'm sure I will be seeing you around."

Lorcan sighed and turned, his hand on his wand, just in case. "I'm not going to spend seven years being horrible to her, that's just not me. I'm glad you realise that you're not my keeper, now go and tell the rest of them." He spat the last sentiment at her, he was starting to loose his temper now. "I'll be alright with Kay if she's alright with me, but she's the one who made this whole mess." he was sick of being blamed for all this, he just wanted them all to leave him be. His anger flared when she started to walk away from him. "Good luck with who? I don' need luck, I've got Alexandra!"
