Ravenclaws would usually ask questions until they got the issue, but surprisingly Laura didn't pry anymore. She was really good, she understood he didn't want to talk and respected it.. Evan once again realised that he had done the right thing to stop by and help her. She was like the most normal person he'd ever met. But of course he had just met her, maybe she was a bit strange too.

He smiled at her politely. "Nice meeting you too, Laura." he said, exaggerating the Scouse accent on purpose. He nodded, he should go now too. "Yes, I'll totally stalk you, now that I saw you're pretty cool." he said chuckling. He winked, and turned back to go to the Great Hall. He felt very hungry.

Jack shrugged. "You could try giving him a treat, but it might just make him fatter. He doesn't like being held after a while--he always does this. I'm afraid to put him down cause he might run off but...I think he can be trusted," he said finally, placing the cat down on the floor. Immediately, Jinx slitered out of his arms and went over to Reese, walking in between her legs.

He bit his lip to stop himself from laughing. Come ON, Torin! Everyone knewwww he had a big crush on Bunbury, and feeding him that lie wasn't going to do anyhing. Silly Torin. "Ok. Sureeeeeeeee," he said with a playful grin. They were to that teasing stage now, right? Well, he was about to find out.

He blinked and took another look at him. "Dude, you look tired. You feel alright? Maybe you should take a nap..."

He was so tired. So so tired. Too much reading and studying made his head feel like it was fried. And he could barely keep his eyes open.

He needed to sit down...

"Yeah, I should take a nap," he agreed with Jack as he slid himself to the floor. He wasn't going to argue about Bunbury anymore. He was too tired for that. He just wanted to sleep...

Yawning again, he decided that he should rest his eyes for a moment. Just a moment though.

Then he drifted off to sleep.

WHY? WHYYY?! Did Torin Kane really just question her role modelness? Hmph. Reese Upstead was now very much insulted. She was a good role model for younger kids as long as those younger kids don't catch her when she's mad, then it ould be questioned if she really was a good role model or not. "You are mean," she told him. "I am a good role model, your just jealous." Yep. Mmhm. That's why Torin questioned her role modelness. He was just jealous that he wasn't a good role model.

There was a short silence before she actually commented on what Torin had said. "I don't want Fyo to yell at you. That would be mean. I just want him here to talk some sense into you, because - well - you never listen to me," she explained. "There's probably only one time you've listened to me...maybeeee two times." She couldn't remember how many times he has actually listened to her. "And since when have you learned to read minds?" She asked when he said that he knew she thought he was too good for Bunbury. If Torin was a mindreader and he didn't tell her, well...

THAT JUST WOULDN'T BE COOL AT ALL!

A large smiled formed on her face when Torin said he studyed for FOUR hours. FOUR! Thinking that deserved a hug, she walked over to Torin and gave him a quick hug before returning back to her spot. "Good job," she congratulated him. "You're going to be glad when you pass all your OWLs. I passed all five of my OWLs."

Turning to Jack, she shook her head at what he had just said. "Jinx isn't too fat. I've seen fatter," she stated. Looking down at Jinx when Jack placed him on the ground, she smiled when he walked right over to her. Aww. That cat liked her! Sitting down on the ground, she opened the bag of treats and began to feed the cat as she let Jack and Torin talk about Bunbury and whatever else they were talking about.

By the time she looked back up, Torin had slid to the ground and fell asleep. Umm. "He must have been really tired to just fall asleep right here," she said. She stared at the sleeping Torin for a few moments and then an evil grin formed on her face. Feeding Junx one last treat, she closed the bag and scooted over to her own bag. She placed the treats back into her bag before pulling out her make-up bag. Opening the make-up bag, she pulled out some pink lipstick.

Hehehe.

"Sweetie," she said as she looked up at Jack. "Don't you think Torin will look good in pink lipstick?" This would be payback for insulting her role modelness.

Arianna had lost them, Rafe ran so fast she couldn't keep up with him and eventually got lost in the long corridors of the castle. She was wondering around, sobbing, she didn't know what had happened to Theodore and she was scared that they would expel Rafe.

She sniffed loudly and rubbed her nose on her robe.

Jack blinked as Torin settled himself on the floor, for what the sixth year assumed was just an attempt at getting off his feet when--he FELL ASLEEP? Umm--when Jack suggested the dude take a nap, he didn't mean right then and there. How was that even comfortable?!?

He looked over as Reese started rummaging through her makeup bag. As it slowly started to dawn on him what she was about to do, he grinned and snorted with laughter. "Oh yessss, pink will match his skin tone perfectlyyyy," Jack told her with a sly smirk. Ok, so MAYBE egging Reese on right after Torin and Jack had JUST made up wasn't the BEST of ideas but...oh, it would just be toooooo fun to pass up!

"Maybe I have my camera in here!" he whispered with a small giggle, rummaging through his bag.

Do you know how much trouble I'm going to be in with Torin when he wakes up?" She asked as she took the top off the lipstick. It was sooooo worth it, though. Seeing Torin in pink lipstick will be the cherry on top of the cake for a perfect day.

She scooted closer to Torin's sleeping body and reached her hand out, so that the lipstick was touching his lips. She painted his lips pink and she made sure it looked good before putting the top back on the lipstick. Hehehehe. She moved back over to her bag, then looked over at Jack who was going through his own bag looking for a camera. "If you get a picture of this Jack, I will...I will kiss you," she told him. Wow. She couldn't believe she just said that.

Hearing someone else in the corridor, she took her eyes off Jack and looked over at this girl. Awww, she looked like she was crying! Poor thing. She stood up from the ground and moved closer to the girl. "What's wrong, dear?" She asked the little one.

Jack bit his lip to keep himself from laughing as Reese scooted closer to Torin and put the lipstick on him. A couple of times he let out a snort, but none loud enough to actually wake him up. In fact, he was a bit surprised that Torin didn't wake up during the process. What a heavier sleeper! He chuckled when the lipstick was finally on and pulled out the camera he had managed to track down in his bag. Torin would be a VERY strange looking woman, that was for sure!

He started to aim the camera when he heard Reese speak up. Oh yeah, he'd get the picture and...GET A KISS?!? Wait, WHAT DID SHE JUST SAY?

Oh yes, he had heard her right. Kiss. KISS. Reese was going to KISS him!

In his panic, he fumbled with the lens and almost dropped the camera from his hands. Letting out a panicky sort of gasp, he reached out and tried to catch it, and after a spectular show of nearly dropping it, catching it, and almost dropping it again, he managed to get a steady grip on it. A passerby would have probably thought the camera was red hot or something.

"Ohh, I--erm--okkkk I will," he said, turning beet red in the process. GRRRR Reese probably predicted his reaction to this. Little tease. He held up the camera and...

No click. No flash. NO CLICK AND NO FLASHHH! NOOOOOO! This camera was NOT going to ruin this moment for him!

"It won't workkkkkkkkkk!" he whined. NO FAIIIIIIIR!

What was that bright light that he saw pass outside of his eyelids? And why did his lips feel weird?

But he was too tired to really care, hovering on the edge of sleep.

Suddenly he stirred.

Reese jumped up and down with joy when Jack pulled his camera out of his bag. Whoo! This was probably the best day everrr. No, wait. It WAS the best day ever. She hoped over to Jack and patiently waited for him to take the picture, but before he could take it he continued to almost drop the thing on the ground. Hmm. Maybeeee telling Jack that she would kiss him if he got the picture wasn't such a good idea, but it sure was funny watching the boy almost drop the camera a few times.

She looked away from Jack when she noticed Torin moving. Ohmygosh. He wasn't waking up was he? Noooo. If he woke up now, that just wouldn't be cool. She dashed behind her boyfriend, hoping that if he did wake up, that he wouldn't spot the 5 foot 7 Slytherin standing behind to 6 foot 1 Gryffindor. Not hearing Torin saying anything after a few seconds passed, she peeked out from behind Jack. Ohhh, gooood. He wasn't waking up.

"That was a close one," she said as she moved over beside Jack. Then, she noticed his red cheeks. Teehee. He was blushing! But, she was caught off-guard by what Jack just said. Did he just say the camera wasn't working? She just stared at him for a few seconds before that statement completely hit her.

THE CAMERA WASN'T WORKING?!

"Are you serious?" She asked as she glanced at the camera in his hands. Oh, booo. She really wanted that picture of Torin with pink lipstick on. Crossing her arms, she looked back over at the sleeping Torin Kane. This just wasn't fair. "I know I don't have a camera with me, so I guess we're just not going to have a picture to remember this awesome day," she stated with a sigh. Oh, wellll. She'll get over it.

Arianna heard a boy and a girl talking to her, she raised her tearful eyes to them "I'm ... I'm.. ok is just that.." she began, shakingly, she meant to say that she was only worried, but her mouth had other intentions " my friend Rafe nearly killed this other boy called Theodore, and now I don't know what will happen, professor Kazemire was really evil and .. and.. that boy Theodore was kinda nice to me and I'm not sure if I agree with what Rafe did and..." and she began crying hard again hiding her face in her hands. Merlin this was embarrassing.

"No, no! It has to work!" Jack exclaimed, pushing the button a few more times. What in the name of Merlin was going on?!? DID FATE NOT WANT HIM TO KISS REEEEEESSSEEEEEEEEE? NOOOO no fair! He turned the camera around to look at the lens. "I'm going to get it to work, it HAS to work!"

He pushed the button a couple more times and suddenly...FLASHHHHH. With the camera directly facing his face. Okies, BLINDED much??

Jack blinked as dots popped up in front of his eyes. He didn't even notice Torin stir ever so slightly. He blinked over and over again, trying to refocus his eyes. Ok, note to self...NEVER have the camera FACING YOU when you're trying to get the flash to work. Might as well just stick a dunce cap on his head right now.

"I think it works!" he muttered as he swayed on the spot, his vision slowwwwwly coming back to him.

OHMIGOSH if that boy got detention because of this and couldn't player keeper in their first match HE was going to MURDER HIM. Not that he would tell this girl that, of course. She was broken up enough as it was.

"Kazi isn't TOOOOO evil...Rafe's tough, he'll make it out ok," he said. He had a gut feeling that he spoke the truth. He was pretty sure Rafe wasn't going to go down to Kazi without a fight. He just hoped house points weren't lost in the process.

Reese was about to tell Jack that the camera didn't really have to work, but she was kind of enjoying watching him fooling around with the thing trying to make it work. Shaking her head, she turned away from Jack to look at the girl who was crying.


Reese listened closely when the girl explained why she was crying. And, she couldn't believe what she heard. Rafe, that name didn't sound familiar, but she knew Theodore. It was kind of hard not to know Theodore since he has been in her house for three years now. "Kazi is always evil," she stated and rolled her eyes. She remembered when her and Lima got detention with him. THE HORRORS! "I'm sure everything is going to be -"

FLASSSSSH!


Before Reese could finish her sentence, she quickly spinned around to face Jack. A few little giggles escaped her mouth when she saw what had just happened. What kind of person would face the camera TOWARDS them when they are trying to get it to flash? Jack Tyler Fritzera, that's who. She honestly wanted to say something about what just happened, but decided against it. Jack was probably blinded now and being mean wouldn't be nice. Plus, she shouldn't be mean to her boyfriend.

"I think it works, too," she told him with a smile.

Arianna sniffed again, rubbing her nose to the sleeve of her robes. " I hope you're right, other wise he is going to get expelled, I head Theo lost a lung.." she murmured lowly. She couldn't believe it yet, that a simple spell could cause such a bad reaction. Flashed a embarrassed smile at the nice girl and at the boy remembering who he was " Yes, Rafe Lycaon ... and you're Jack Fritzera right? Rafe's idol or something" she remembered how Rafe always talked about his Quidditch Captain as his role model of a guy.

She wiped her eyes and decided to introduce herself " I'm Arianna it's nice to meet you, thank you so much for talking with me" she added more controlled.

"Nice to meet you too, Arianna," Jack said. Whoooa, wait, IDOL? "Really? I'm his idol?" he said with a small chuckle. He--he was NEVER anyones idol! He was too nerdy and too clutzy and tooooo everything to be considered a role model to anyone before. This was cool!

Blinking, Jack finally regained his vision after the flash went off in his eyes. With an evil smirk, he turned to Torin, who was still sound asleep, and raised his camera. Not only could he sooooo use this picture as blackmail material in the future, but he could get points for it for Muggle Studies! DOUBLE WIN!

Pointing the camera, he aimed and, tongue between his teeth, he concentrated suuuuuuper hard on getting the perfect angle and...

Click!

Holding his breath and makin sure the sleeping Hufflepuff didn't stir, he grinned and turned to Reese. "How mad do you think Torin is gonna be when he finds you put lipstick on him AND that we took a picture?" he asked with a chuckle.

Heard Theo lost a...a WHAT?! A LUNG? Reese blinked a few times as she stared at the little girl. She didn't talk to Theo much - actually she didn't talk to him at all - but next time she saw him, she was going to see if he was okay. Losing a lung sounded painful and Theo WAS in her house, so she just needed to make sure the little guy would be okay. "I hope he's okay," she said. "But, I'm sure Rafe didn't mean to hurt him."

Hearing the girl tell Jack that Rafe was his idol, she turned to him and a smile formed on her face. "Well, looky there, Captain Jack," she told him. "Someone idolizes you." She nudged him slightly before looking back at the girl, who was now introducing herself. "Arianna? That's a pretty name," she commented. "I'm Reese and it's a pleasure to meet you. and, it's not a problem at all, I like talking to people." And, she liked meeting new people, too!

Did she just hear a click?

She quickly turned around and when she noticed Jack had the camera up to his face for the third time, but this time IT WORKED. "You goooot it," she exclaimed. And, she did promise a kiss if he got it, did she not? Taking a step closer to him, she stood up on her toes and her lips made contact with his lips. The kiss only lasted a couple of seconds and then she hugged her boyfriend. "I'm sooo excited you got the picture," she told him, the she released the boy from her hug. "And, I know Torin is going to be mad about the lipstick and IF he finds out about the picture, I don't know what he's going to do." Yes, that was an if; she wasn't going to tell the Hufflepuff that they got a picture of him. No, way!

Arianna giggled at the two of them and covered her eyes making a funny face as she walked away "uuuuh, kissing" she teased. She waved goodbye " I'll see you around!"

She just couldn't understand what older girls saw in boys.

Torin suddenly stirred when he heard voices in the hallway. But he was still so tired.

He slowly opened his eyes and saw that Reese and Jack were talking. He was too groggy to make out what they were saying. And then Reese kissed him. ZOMG! It was a moment that he had to capture on film no matter how tired he was.

He quickly pulled out his camera and flashed a pic of them kissing before putting it away. They would never know that he had done it. hehe.

Then he fell back to sleep.

Jack let out a high pitched giggle. "Well, I mean--I guess it's only natural for people to like, look up to their captains and stuff," he said as he cheeks heated up. He wasn't used to all these people idolizing him--hadn't Cela told him he was good at astronomy too? OH YES SHE HAD! A lot of people had, actually. He tried not to let it get to him but--it was harddddd to not get a big ego when everyone was complimenting you. Hehehe!

Suddenly, before he even knew what was happening, Reese was standing on her tip toes and...

SHE KISSED HIM!

EEEEEEEEEP! He had completely forgotten that part of the deal...he had gotten too caught up in all the excitement that had happened with the stupid camera breaking and then the flash going off in his eyes and Rafe idolizing him and everything...OHMIGOSH OHMIGOSH OHMIGOSHHHHH!

"Well, erm...hehehe...ummmm, yeah..." Oh no. Jack had lost the ability to form a coherent sentence! And he kept LAUGHING...he couldn't stoppppp! His cheeks turned brighter than tomatoes and he tried to think of something to say. Anything. ANYTHING BUT MORE SHEEPISH LAUGHTER!

"You're just a good role model, Jack," Reese stated. "You haven't gotten in trouble, you do all your homework, your nice, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera." As she was naming off all the things that made Jack a good role model, she was using her fingers to keep up with how many things she named off. Once she was done, she lowered her hand and just smiled at the Gryffindor. "I can really see why Rafe idolizes you," she added.

Just then, after she had kissed him, Jack was laughing in a sheepish manner and...and HIS CHEEKS WERE THE COLOR OF TOMATOES! Hehe. She really wanted to take a picture of that, because no matter how much she has seen Jack blush, that was the brightest his cheeks have ever gotten. Hmm. Did she have her camera on her? Taking her attention off the laughing Jack, she bent down to her bag and started digging through it. Moments later, she finally pulled out her camera.

She back up straight and turned to face Jack. "Smile, honeeey," she said as she put the camera up to her eye.

CLICK!

"That is going to be such a lovely picture," she told him with a grin. She lowered the camera away from her face and looked over at Torin. How long has he been sleeping? 30 minutes? 45 minutes? It should be getting time to wake up unless he was really tired, then he could probably be asleep for hours. "I think we should get going before he wakes up," she suggested as she pointed at Torin. "He might wake up soon."

"Hey--HEY! What are you doing?" Jack asked, his eyes growing wide as she pulled out the camera. Oh hey, he could talk normally again! He blinked and watched, horror struck as she took a picture. His face probably looked somewhat comical as his mouth hung open.

CLICK!

"That better not turn up on your muggle studies homework!" he exclaimed, grinning as he spoke because he only half meant it.

Reese smiled when Jack said that that picture of him better not be in her Muggle Studies homework. Teehee. "I love you, Jack," she said, trying to dodge the fact that she was going to send that picture in for Muggle Studies. "Now, I really must be going. I have things to do, people to take pictures of." She placed her camera back into her bag and then she put her bag over her shoulder.

"I'll see you later." After saying that, she started walking down the corridor. She didn't go far until she quickly stopping and looked back at her boyfriend. "And, seriously, I suggest you leave before he wakes up," she added as she glanced towards Torin. "I don't think Torin would like the fact that you are holding a camera." Winking at him, she finally turned back around and disappeared down the corridor.

Torin was standing in the middle of the corridor feeling silly. He had agreed to meet with someone that he had never even spoken to in real life before. But this girl made him curious, so he wanted to see if she would be a good friend for him or not. He also wanted to know how she seemed to know so much about him.

He began to pace as he waited, figuring that he could kill the time by reviewing notes that he had made in his head. He could never be too prepared for OWLs, could he?

Livvy couldn't help but feel a little bit odd as she made her way down from the Common Room. She was about to go meet some kid that everyone seemed to know. Except for her of course. Except she didn't count. She didn't know anybody at the school. The extent of her facial or name recognition spread out within the Ravenclaw house.

Though she did know a few Slytherins and Gryffindors, here and there.

Here goes nothing.

Glancing around, Livvy walked through the third floor corridor, humming the Jeopardy theme song in her head. And that's when she spotted a boy. Standing in the middle of the hallway, pacing around.

Was he nervous or was he exercising?

"UUUUUMMMM.......... Torin?" Livvy asked, tiptoeing closer to the boy. That better be Torin or else. Or else....

He was just listing off the ingredients for a sleeping draught when he suddenly heard someone come up behind him. He hadn't heard anyone approach, but then he had sorta been inside himself.

"You're Livvy, right?" Yeah, this wasn't really awkward at all. "Hey, I've seen you before!" He remembered that she was there when Raven was crying the other day. He had totally forgot about seeing her there.
