They were there because they were trying to help, and after all - Xander was the one who found him and yelled for help. Reese just happened to stumble upon them at the right moment. The Patronus was good, because Xander couldn't produce one. He wasn't old enough, nor had enough experience.
"We were just trying to help," Xander said to the girl. "You don't have to yell at us for doing the right thing."
Then again, this was an extremely stressful and bad bad BAD situation. Something he had never dealt with before. He had no idea what exactly to do with Reese right now. She was planted firmly to the ground, and there was no way of moving her.
Turning his head away, he placed his own head on her shoulder to look at the trophies from behind Reese's head.
This year was one to remember for sure. Krissy looked up from her mourning, anger flashing in her eyes. "Oh, I'm so sorry lad. I didn't know I hurt yer feelings, but last I checked yeh should listen to yer bloody elders and do as they say. Now if yeh please go find a professor, ANY PROFESSOR I'll get yeh a bloody damn cookie for yer trouble!" She whispered in a way that was much more menacing than yelling ever could be. "How could I be so wrapped up in the fact that my fiance is laying here dead? Manners are much more important aren't they?" That was the sarcasm Helios had always loved in her. Gently laying her beloved's head on the floor she removed her school robes and covered his body. " I know you are with me. I love you. I will always love you.." she whispered in Greek. reaching beneath his robes she removed his necklace with the piece of meteorite charm. Placing it around her own neck she sobbed quietly to herself.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Canaan Prescott Fourth Year | The Disappearing Girl | | Swooping Bowtruckle Xander raised an eyebrow as the girl continued to get snippy with him. They were doing the right thing by standing there. He would not move a muscle as he held on to Reese.
"Professor Kazimeriz is coming," he said, turning his head to look at the girl. "And we are not leaving until he tells us that we should."
Just because he was younger she thought she could boss him around. He wasn't a puppy after all. Cookies would not lure him away. Sure, the sugar rush was tempting. But right now there was a dead student who he found who would need to be taken care of, and not to mention Reese.
Stubborn? Extremely.

Krissy stayed on the ground facing away from the young boy.Mumbling more to herself than to anyone she chose to ignore the little git and his sass. "Perhaps I should levitate yeh to the hospital wing..." she whispered. Knowing nothing could be done for the prince was one thing, but it was more than a little disrespectful to leave his body laying here on the floor. She caressed his cheek with her hand and sighed. This beautiful shell once held the soul of her destined love. She knew that his soul would never leave hers, The Gods wouldn't allow that. This place once felt like home and now with little time until graduation she wanted to flee. To run to Helios' home in the forest and be free from all of the pain.

Screaming was NOT nice. Could children not keep it down? There were seventh years that would appreciate getting their thoughts together on a little walk alone. But, nevertheless Tammy ended up wandering in the direction of the noise. Of course she was going to ask them to be quiet. They needed to shush. Did they want to cause havoc? No. Did she want more of a migraine than she had now? No.
"HEY! Will you guys shu- OMILORDY." Dead person. Dead person. Dead person. Looking from one person to the next she recognised Reese, and the other two, well yeah she didnt know them. And then the deceased. There was a slight movement of her feet as she came into line with Reese and nice-hair boy and she briefly closed her eyes not wanting to even look down at the body, just fearing that it was another Huffie.
Alas.
When she finally did open her eyes, there he was. There was another seventh year Huffie, one she had respectively not gotten along with. But that was Eva's fault. "Has anybody... anybody gone to get a teacher or something?"
She sounded so sure of herself when she spoke, but OH inside the small infantile brain of hers was having a bit of a panic attack, and it probably wasn't long before she started screaming herself.
STAY STRONG CHILD. STAY STRONG. God, the girl screaming over the dead body was NOT making this any better. "Any chance you could like keep it down, while I think of something to do. Please."
Now she just sounded mean, so instead she stayed quiet and continued to look at the next dead body of one of her peers.

Those two children refuse to do as I ask and I do not want to leave his body alone...not yet." Krissy wiped her eyes knowing it was wrong to be so emotional in front of strangers, that was something Helios had always despised. "Please..." she whispered.

Professor Kazimeriz hurried up the final flight of stairs and into the trophy room. He took one look at the scene, saw who was on the floor, and glanced at the students, particularly Krissy Moon. A stab of emotion - was it guilt? perhaps... - wrenched through him as he looked at the young girl. "What happened?" he said softly as he approached the student's body.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Canaan Prescott Fourth Year | The Disappearing Girl | | Swooping Bowtruckle "Professor Kazimeriz," Xander said, stepping forward. "I came into the trophy room, and happened to stumble upon a fellow classmate of mine in the current state he's in..."
UGH. He was shaking, and wasn't sure why. Kazimeriz didn't frighten him as much as he did to other students, but still. There was no way Xander could have done this anyway. Only a horrible person could.
While keeping one arm around Reese, he faced the professor and the emotional girl on the floor.
"Reese sent out her patronus to you, and we stayed here because we didn't want the body to be alone, when she -" he nodded to the girl on the ground, "came in and began yelling at us to get someone when we had sent you. We stayed here because we weren't sure of what to do after that fact."
It was surprising to Xander how calm he stayed in this situation. Finding a dead student wasn't something he came across every day, but he didn't know how else to react. Hysterics would only make it worse and drawn out and break him down. He didn't need that, so trying to be level headed was the best that he could do right now.
Hopefully Kazimeriz and the emotional (and bossy) girl on the ground would understand he was trying to do the right thing.

Standing slowly Krissy took on her full height of a mere 5'2 and looked at the professor pain in her eyes. "Yeh know what happened, yeh know why it happened." she shook her head sadly. "He always had to be the hero..." her voice cracked as tears pooled again. No not in front of Kaz, she would not break in front of this man...Helios' idol. "He knew it was coming... He sent me his patronus, all the way to me dormitory." She was shaking with a cold that was deep in her heart. "I admit I was hysterical when I came in to find me beloved... but those two were just standing there staring at the body. I was begging for them to find anyone while the patronus found yeh... but the stubborn little git wouldn't leave." Her hands balled up in fists. "I'm sorry...I am trying to keep me head about me. I always knew this was a possibility. Losing him too soon I mean...but I never thought it would be in school.I never thought it would be so young. I thought we would be married." she whispered the last word and knelt next to Helios' body once more permitting a few tears to fall on the boys closed eyelids. "Please do something for him professor...He deserves better than being on the floor." She nearly begged. "I was afraid to move him, but I'll not leave the body until the proper preparations are made. As far as I am concerned, he was me husband, and I am a widow." She looked at the man who had stolen her last year with Helios. The man who kept her from ever being the bride she was supposed to be and she couldn't be angry with the Professor. He hadn't killed Helios, he made him a better man. "I jest wish I could have said goodbye... held his hand once more..." she whispered knowing the Professor would understand.

Oh god. It was the girls fiance dead on the floor. How bad this make the prefect look now? And now a professor was here, this was nice to know. Now she wasn't flailing over what to do.
"Oh professor. I just thought it was a bunch of kids being all loud, and shouting, and then I came to ask them if they could keep it down a bit. And then I came across this. One of my own house again. Professor do you want me to get another professor or anything?" Because she needed to be sick somewhere. Maybe not, but her stomach was churning a little bit, round and round and round and round. And yes.
This was not something you saw daily. You never saw it, but after seeing death previously, it as somehow easier not to cry and be sick there and then.

Hopefully Kazimeriz and the emotional (and bossy) girl on the ground would understand he was trying to do the right thing. As Professor Kazimeriz listened to the boy explain his discovery, he approached the prince's body. He knelt down -- feeling his knees do a painful pop as he did so; he would pay for THAT later -- and checked the boy's vitals, ensuring that he was in fact dead and not merely petrified.
He was. Quote:

This was not something you saw daily. You never saw it, but after seeing death previously, it as somehow easier not to cry and be sick there and then. No, that will not be necessary. I will see to him personally... With the help of ...his beloved wife." Kazimeriz's eyes met Miss Moon's and he nodded almost imperceptibly, acknowledging both their importance to one another and that it was appropriate for her to assist him with the Sunrider boy's earthly remains. "It is a tragedy, to be sure. But from what I knew of the lad he put a strong value on courage. I feel confident that he would want you to remain strong now, in honor of his memory, Miss Moon. I feel it only appropriate that you personally carry him to hospital. I can teach you the mobilicorpus charm if you do not know it."
He glanced to the other students. "Please accompany us; there will of course be an inquiry and we will need your eyewitness accounts." He stood up, allowing Krissy space to levitate Sunrider's body.

"Sure Professor Kazimeriz." Tammy replied quickly, watching as he dealt with the girl on the floor with the corpse of Helios. If anythign she was worried about how Reese was coping, but she stayed silent, as she seemed to be being soothed by the boy that was with her.
After atleast 30 seconds of watching the floor, she indeed did look over at Reese and nice-hair boy. "You guys okay?" Stupid question, but she wanted to make sure they didnt feel like they were going to be sick or anything, and of course they needed to be stable enough to get to the hospital wing.

Looking to the professor she whispered for fear of her voice cracking once more. "Please lead the way professor." |

There would be plenty of time for grief later; she needed something to do to distance herself from the fresh loss. Merlin knew he had experienced the deep, wrenching ache of losing a loved one often enough to know that the only way to get through grief was to move through it, through action.
He took his cane in hand as though he were a leading macabre parade up to the hospital wing. Glancing backward, he looked to the other students. "Miss Wood, please make certain that no one lags behind. There is safety in numbers." He began to make his way up to the hospital wing, going slowly so Miss Moon could easily manage Mr. Sunrider's body.

Reese wasn't liking that Gryffindor girl very much. She was quite bossy. Honestly, did she think Reese would leave just for a cookie? Ha. Even IF this girl was maybe a year older than her, she wasn't going to listen. She wanted Kazimeriz right now and not some cookie that this girl was bribing them with just to go find someone. Didn't she LISTEN to them? Xander already told her she sent a patronus to Kazimeriz. All they had to do was wait. Apparently, this was too unpatient.
But, she wasn't leaving...not now.
After hearing someone walk into the room, she turned to see who was there and noticed the Hufflepuff Prefect. Tammy Woods. She nodded her head as to greet the girl, but didn't say anything. She continued to stay quiet until Professor Kazimeriz walked in. "Professor," she said in acknowledgment of his presence. Wow. Has she EVER been excited to see the Potions Master? Never in her life.
When Kazimeriz asked what happened, she opened her mouth the answer, but everyone in the room answered before she had a chance to say anything. Well, Xander pretty much said what she was going to say, so she closed her mouth and waited for the Professor to tell them what to do. She kept her eyes upon Xander, but she didn't want to stare at Kazi and she most definitely didn't want to look at the dead body. Eyewitness account? She just wanted to go back to the common room now and just think that none of this had happened or go find Jack, because he would make her feel less depressed than she was right now. But, she wasn't going to refuse this, because she didn't want Kazi to get mad at her. "Yes, sir," she simply replied.
Her brown eyes glanced over to Tammy, and then she shrugged. "I've been better," she answered.
When Kazi and the Gryffindor began to walk towards the Hospital Wing, she let go of Xander and tugged on the side of his robe. "Come on," she said before walking out behind the Professor.

That was understandable. Of course she had been better, tehy all had. This was just an unfortunate experience, that Tammy had happened to have dealt with more than once before. But still, it was going to hit her hard, when she sat quietly on her own in places. "Understandable. We all have, really." If anything, Tammy was trying not to sound as calm as she was horribly feeling right now. Someone was dead, and she wasn't shaking. She just had a churning stomach.
"Lets just stay together, just behind Professor Kazimeriz and the - yeah." She wasn't going to mention the other two, the grieving girl and what was now left of Helios. And then Tammy follwed, just a few steps behind Reese and the boy.

With his hands shoved deep into his pockets, Jake strolled casually into the Trophy Room... feeling as though this place was of some significance at the moment. Probably because of the Quidditch victory, though he didn't know it, and he wanted to look at old shiny trophies.
Moving without thinking Jake ended up wandering along to the exact place he'd recently stood and killed someone, and continued inspecting trophies, feeling a shiver run down his spine.
It was cold... right?

Moving without thinking Jake ended up wandering along to the exact place he'd recently stood and killed someone, and continued inspecting trophies, feeling a shiver run down his spine.
It was cold... right? Reese, who had just left the Library on the fourth floor, was walking down the third floor corridor after just leaving the moving staircases. What? She didn't want to go back to the common room just to sit around and do nothing, so she was going to walk around the castle for a little bit or until she was actually ready to go down to the dungeons.
As she was making her way down the corridor, she spotted a familiar blonde headed boy walking into one of the rooms in the corridor. Reese was kind of hoping it was the Charms classroom and not what she thought the room was, but as she got closer she did notice it was the Trophy Room. She needed to talk to Jakers, but she didn't want to go into that room since she found the dead body there the last time she visited.
So, the Slytherin had a decision now: talk to her brother or walk away.
Reese was going to talk to her brother. He would protect her if someone tried to kill her, right? Riiiiiiiight? She really hoped she was right. Opening the door of the room, she stepped inside, and then began to walk around until she found Jake. "Hey," she greeted him. She didn't even notice that Jake was standing in the exact same spot she had found Helios at, at least she didn't notice it right at that moment.

Standing all alone in the maybe-chilly trophy room, Jake bit on his lip and rocked back and forth on his heels, staring at a particularly shiny trophy. It was because he was paying such rapt attention that he didn't hear Reese's footsteps. Or maybe he did... and had ignored them.
Nevertheless, Jake didn't actually jump in fright or anything, he just turned slowly and looked at Reese.
"Hi."
Crap.
She knew.
How did he know that she knew?
He didn't know.
He just knew that she knew, but never knew how he knew that she knew what was not well known.
Whew.

Reese looked away from Jake and towards the shiny trophy he was staring at. It was an old Hufflepuff Quidditch trophy. After staring at that particular trophy for a bit, she moved her attention to one of the old Gryffindor trophies and then after looking at that one, she began to look at one of the Slytherin trophies. She hoped that the Slytherin would win next year, because winning the Quidditch cup would make her a happy seventh year. A very happy seventh year, to be exact, even if she didn't play Quidditch except for that one game. Winning trophies just made her happy, okay?
She looked back towards her brother and smiled. "I'm super duper proud of you for winning the game," she said. That was said more as a a 'you rock little bro' kind of way instead of a 'I was always hoping Hufflepuff would win', because she STILL wasn't going to pick a side. And, even though she was talking to Jake first than Jack, it still doesn't mean anything. She just couldn't find Jack, that's all.
After saying that to Jake, she quickly pulled her little brother into a hug. "You played really well," she added. Wait, no... "You were awesome," she corrected herself. That sounded much better.

He'd see Jack when he saw him... and shake his hand.
And tell him not to ever hurt his sister.
"Didn' kn-know yyyou were ggggood at Quidditch," the boy added, pulling out of the hug and looking up at Reese. Even though he'd grown a full four inches since last summer, he dtill had to crane his neck to look at people.
Harsh times.

Harsh times. Reese kept her arms wrapped around her brother as she thought about a few things, but mostly she was thinking about how amazing it was that a third year could beat a sixth year. Pretty amazing, but she did have to think that Jake has been playing Quidditch longer than Jack. Jack has been playing for about 2 years and Jake has been playing for 3? Yes, she believed those were the right numbers. It didn't really matter, though. They both played a good game and there was also NO doubt that both her boys were born to play Quidditch.
When Jake pulled out of the hug, Reese let her arms fall back down to her side. "I'm not that good," she replied. "I only scored like - what? One time? And, then I got hit by that bloody bludger." Kaika was the one that hit the bludger towards her, right? "You and Jack are better at Quidditch than me," she stated the facts.
She looked back towards the Quidditch trophies, and then she remembered the other thing she wanted to talk to Jake about besides Hufflepuff winning Quidditch. "Jake," she spoke up. "There's something else I've been wanting to talk to you about." Reaching inside her pocket, she pulled out the folded piece of paper that her dad had sent her a week or so ago and then handed it to Jake.
"What do you have to say about that?"

"What do you have to say about that?" Shrugging his shoulders, Jake turned away. Really, if she didn't want to admit it... but Jake knew of people who couldn't even ride on a broom without both hands on the stick... he knew people who couldn't even ride on a broom. Period.
Oh... she did know.
Craaaaaaaap.
Acting all innocent, Jake took the folded parchment from Reese and opened it up, taking his time in making out the words, which was made all the easier, since his dad's handwriting was quite neat.
Folding the letter up and handing it back, Jake didn't change his expression and he shrugged again. "It's tuuuuhhhh-tuh-truue."
Yes.
Yes it was.

Yes.
Yes it was. Reese placed one hand on her hip, and looked back at the trophies. It was difficult to think about Jake NOT coming back to the house. I mean, who was going to play with Dale? Jake usually played with him, and so did Ryan. But, now Ryan was getting ready to move out to some apartment within the next few weeks, she was going to pretty much be the only child there besides Dale. Which sucked...majorly. And, she was planning on going to Greece with Jack and Torin and everyone else for the first 3 weeks of summer, so who was going to be there to play airplanes with Dale? Maybe she could ask Keith to when he wasn't busy.
Yes, this was a sister that cared.
"I never said it wasn't the truth," she calmly spoke as she looked back at Jake. "I'm just upset that you didn't tell me." Sighing, she looked down at the letter in Jake's hands. "First, Jakers, I want to know why you don't want to live mom and dad. Second, I want you to promise me that you will keep in touch over the summer. I'm going to be away in Greece with Jack and Torin and Tammy and whoever else is coming for the first 2 or 3 weeks of summer and I want to make sure you're okay every now and then. And, if you don't call me or text me, I'm going to get worried." Very worried.

NO ADULT SUPERVISION?!!!?!!ONE!1!!2!?
But the boy took a deeeeeeeeeep breath, and frowned, thinking up the best way to phrase these answers. In all honesty, he just didn't like staying with Heath as much as he thought he would... too many kids... too much leeway... not enough attention.
"I've buh-b-been in care all mmmmy life," the boy pointed out, forgetting that he may not have told Reese this, and that his dad may have neglected to say something about it. "Thuhh-they ffffound a nnnnew foster muhh-mother... tttthey thought we'd ggget on. Said I nnnnuh-needed the atttttention..." he stalled here and went quiet, frowning more still. "Af-after I went St. Mmmmmungo's."
As for keeping in touch, Jake wasn't very sure about that. Summers ended up being busy and you just didn't want to spend it writing (since he didn't have a phone, and so couldn't text, and... well phones were hard work). The boy shrugged his shoulders, looking awkward.

Summers ended up being busy and you just didn't want to spend it writing (since he didn't have a phone, and so couldn't text, and... well phones were hard work). The boy shrugged his shoulders, looking awkward. Reese raised an eyebrow. "Are you okay?" She asked in reply to Jake's recent action (narrowing his eyes). Been in care all his life? No, Reese didn't know that. No, nobody hasn't even attempted to tell her anything about that. Do people just think it's easier to keep Reese out of everything? Truthfully, it probably was, but she liked to be informed about stuff. " Do you two get along?" She questioned. The answer was probably 'yes', but she needed to make sure. "Attention? Don't we..." She paused there. Thinking about it, Jake didn't get much attention back at the house: Heath usually was worrying about his car, her mom was always cooking or on the phone, and Ryan usually spent time with Dale. Reese usually was out and about shopping or hanging out with friends, so she normally wasn't around the house during the day.
Great. Just great.
"Jake, if they said you need attention, I can't disagree with you having to move out. You barely got any attention at the house," she said. She should have spent more time with her brother - she really should have. "Maybe after I get back from Greece, you and me can go out for a day? Just you and me," she suggested. "We need some sisterly and brotherly time, don't you think?"
