Mina walked through the front door and scanned the room. How did she manage to lose Jason was beyond her. Maybe he'll find me. Looking for a few table, she moved toward the left side of the pub and sat down. If he didn't find her in twenty minutes, she'd just go back to the castle and study like she planned before.

'Stupid, stupid, stupid...' Josh was scolding himself mentally. He really needed to talk to some ladies' guy, maybe the girls in his house. Yes, they might help a lot but he could not imagine the amount of gossiping in the Gryffindor girls dormitory form girl to girl, than escaping out to the other girl dormitories of other houses especially Slytherin. So he maybe could try asking Carter, he already had Marilyn, did not he? He nodded silently his mind full of thoughts again as Rose chose a table and asked if it was okay. When he was about to sit down, however, Rose pulled her scarf back from him, an act which totally confused him. Maybe she was upset because of his last words...correcting... last words of idiocy. He had to make up for that, quickly. ''Let's hope it takes more than a minute or two'' now did it sound too intimate? Gah! Where were his usual confidence and control?

Rafe stepped out of the bathroom holding his stomach. That wasn't exactly one of his top ten proudest moments. Rafe splashed water in his face, making his hair wet, like he just got out of the shower or something. Now, he would just have to leave...

Of course they had to choose the table he couldn't avoid on his way out. He didn't know what to do. But, he felt the longer he stood there the more attention he would draw to himself. He just had to dart on out of there. He focused on the door, he was almost in a bit of a run. Then SMASH!!! He tripped right over the back of Josh's chair, landing right on his back. He was staring blankly at the ceiling. He was seeing stars. What just happened?

Taking a deep breathe, she folded her hands in her lap and looked around, finally settling on Josh who had spoken. More than a minute or two? 'Wasn't he just saying... Nevermind.' Shaking her head at her thoughts, she realized what he was trying to do, and she laughed quietly, brushing her dark hair away from her face. If only she had a hair tie or something...

About to look in her pockets, she suddenly saw someone tripping and falling to the ground next to Josh. Startled, she gasped and stood up, trying to see who it was. Oh. Rafe. Evelyn was still a little peeved that he practically set Destiny on fire. "Hello Rafe. You don't look too well." she said with as much concern as she could muster up, which was barely any. Sighing, she sat back down and turned the other way, crossing her arms. She will let Josh handle him.

Marilyn looked up, startled. What in Merlin's name...She gasped when she saw Rafe laying flat on his back. She stood quickly, leaving Carter alone to tend to her friend. Rafe was still her friend, right?

Kneeing down beside him, Marilyn rubbed his face almost affectionately..."Rafe! Are you okay?"

'Okay. Might be intimate but it was something, right something' Now all he had to do was fuel up his brain and thnik of a way to consider this opportunity of being alone with her in here, maybe a crowded place but no one cared about them. Staring at Rose's face he waited for a reply, something, anything but she did nothing but brush her hair and looking for something in her pockets instead making him feel slightly dissappointed. He was wasting time, he had to.... ''Whoa! What's happening?'' he looked around in confusion as someone hit his chair and fell down, Rose's voice confirming who he was afterwards. ''Wha- Rafe!'' he jumped on his feet then kneeled beside him ''Are you okay? What happened? Did somebody attack you?'' he looked around. No one was running away so he looked down at his housemate and poked him ''Rafe?''

It was a dream, she wasn't real. It was like hearing the soothing voice of an angel. Her touch warmed his heart. Everything felt so cold since they parted last. He didn't want to open his eyes, it would bring him back to reality he didn't want to face yet. A reality, that was more like a nightmare.

But, he would have to face his nightmare sooner or later. His eyes began to flutter and everything was a golden haze. "Ma-Ma-Marilyn?" he was finally able to get out with a wide smile. Rafe shook his head, and quickly changed his expression back to normal, trying not to reveal himself. He didn't want to meet her gaze directly. He quickly sat up and rubbed his head. "I'm fine," he said embarrassed. He didn't want to look at everyone else. He couldn't believe he just fell in the middle of The Three Broomsticks.

Rafe laughed a little as Josh poked him. He was slightly ticklish and he didn't want anyone to know. "I'm fine man," Rafe said. He needed to get up, but he was afraid of stumbling backwards and making more of a fool of himself. "Thanks for the inquiry...I just...," wanted to avoid seeing Marilyn, "...got in a bit of a hurry." Rafe looked up. Oh no! Carter and Marilyn, and Josh and Evelyn, this looked like a double date or something. What did he stumble upon? Quite literally.

Marilyn sighed in relief, happy that Rafe was okay...for the most part "Yes, Rafe. Its me." The way he was smiling at her was a bit...Well, he was making her heart race. She helped him into a sitting position, massaging his shoulders in the process. "What happened?" She swiped her fingers across his face, moving the hair that had feel into it.

Rafe grabbed her hand that was moving the hair out of his face. It was instinctive, but he quickly moved it to her side and let go. Every moment they spend together was like torture. "Don't," he whispered sharply. He coughed and stood up slowly. He was a little shaky, but he managed. "I just tripped, that's all," he said bitterly. Rafe looked her in her sparkling green eyes. Why did she have to be here? He didn't want to argue. He could be civil right? "I'm fine really," Rafe smiled crookedly. "What are you all doing here?" he asked somewhat curiously.

Vilhelmiina heard a loud thud. She lifted her head to see a boy had tripped. She could feel bad energy coming of the people. She felt sympathy for the gryffindor.

Lucy was extremely upset at Rafe's outburst and was quiet througout the whole thing, even after Kat left. When she noticed him running to the bathroom, she didn't know what to say when he came back. But then he came back and tripped. She was about to help him when none other than Marilyn came in and helped him out. Lucy looked at the two of them in disgust and left the The Three Broomsticks, tears falling thickly from her eyes.

Marilyn lowered her hand, a little hurt that he'd pushed it away. "Even though Gryffindor lost..." She was trying to keep her voice from shaking...but was having little success. "We decided to celebrate, anyway." She quickly stood and brushed her knees off, generally upset that he was treating her this way...No matter if he did flashed her favorite crooked smile of all time.

"Well, I'm glad some people can celebrate a victory," Rafe struggled to say. "I don't want to spoil the fun, but..." Rafe bit his lower lip, he looked from Carter and then the whole group and then to Marilyn. "Do you think we could step out a moment?" Rafe asked, "I have a couple of questions about homework from Potions I missed," he added quickly so it didn't seem so weird.

He turned back to the table, "Josh, Evelyn, Carter it's always a pleasure. Fellas, it's been a pleasure playing with you this season, we'll definitely take the victory next year! I can feel it in my bones!" He laughed a little. "See you guys around the common room!" Rafe gave Marilyn a nod indicating he would be leaving towards the door hoping she would follow.

"Wow, drama even gets to the youngsters," Jule said, to no one in particualr. She over-heard the strange argument Kat, Lucy and Rafe had. She sighed and remembered how her birthdays were spent with people fighting around her. She ignored them and looked out the window. She sighed, got up and ordered another Butterbeer.

Marilyn closed her eyes briefly, making sure her face was hidden. Was this really the time or the place? She sighed deeply and nodded. Looking back to her friends and boyfriend, she smiled. It was not convincing. "I'll be right back."

She followed closely behind Rafe on his way to the door, slightly angry. She'd truly gotten herself into a mess.

Evelyn listened to Marilyn and Rafe exchange words, raising a brow when Marilyn seemed to be... She almost laughed at her own thoughts. 'Nah, she's with Carter. Pffft.' Tapping the table with her fingers, she raised a brow when the two of them excused themselves, needing to talk or something. Waving in slight acknowledgment to Rafe, 'No way, Slytherin is totally winning next year', Evelyn took a deep breathe, letting it out slowly, debating whether or not to go see what was going on through the window. Buuut, that would be a total invasion of privacy... No she couldn't do that.

She glanced at Carter for a split second, before smiling over at Josh, not really sure what to say. "Sooo... That was an awesome game. You guys should have totally won." Yea, quidditch, great thing to say. She probably could have thought of something better but right now, it seemed liked the air was tense or something, making her a little uncomfortable. Taking off her Slytherin scarf, she placed it on the table in front of her, smiling over to Josh again and patting the seat next to her. Sit here sit here!!

Carter entered with Marilyn he was extremely excited to be there. He walked toward the back with Marilyn, Josh, and Evelyn. The Rafe all of a sudden tripped over a chair. Whoops. He nodded as Marilyn left. He didn't blame Rafe for missing the potions lesson. If he had been slipped a love potion he would have left too. He then turned back to Josh and Evelyn. "Thanks. We'll get them next year." he said. They were only first years, they could only get better, right?

" Well, did we not meet already?" Jason asked the girl. " My name is Jason Potter Weasley" he told the girl. " Talk to me, i am a good listener" Jason explained to the girl. " I just need to know if you have a cousin named Excelscior Black or is he your brother or long lost one? Jason asked the girl. Excelscior Black is Jason's cousin.

Josh laughed as well when Rafe did, if he could laugh anyway this meant there was nothing to worry about. ''Great. You'r okay'' he said patting him on the head. ''Next time watch where are ya hurrying to then. We might need ya...sometime'' he laughed but it died off as he watched Marilyn and Rafe exchanging words and what was those expressions? Looking confused he stared from Rafe to Marilyn than from Marilyn to Rafe and again and again. Well he was getting it wrong, he lost half his brain cells when he collided with the Hufflepuff chaser in the match so he was concluding with wrong ideas. 'Must be.'

He looked up at Rose with questioning looks, she did not look like she had a hint about when he thought so he was only making up things in his mind, making a quick mental note to see the nurse again about brain suffering the Gryffindor boy sat beside her. Then so Rafe and Marilyn were leaving for a couple of question about Potions Class ...Potions Class...seriously who cared about potions class right now. He felt a little bit annoyed even when the the word 'potion' had been mentioned. He nodded at Rafe when he did hid farewells before leaving with Marilyn. Sure he was going to see and talk to him in the common room. Once they were out he glanced around some than back at Rose and Carter ''Yeah. If made it to the finals as a team full of first years, i'm sure we can destroy them all when we are older.''*nod nod* ''Don't you think so, Rose?'' he added the question for her quickly with a smirk on his face.

It was such a pretty day.

Fyo had woken up, earlier, to a bright bout of early summer sunshine and, even though it was a reminder of the fact that winter - pretty much his favourite season - was very, very over, it had led to a good swim, and he had had an awesome morning. Despite the fact that, even with exams this near, the homework continued to pile up, it might be mentioned.

He held the door of the Three Broomsticks open now, and waited for Lissy to step through. Ladies first, right? "Happy birthday," he whispered into her, leaning forward a bit, ear as she passed. He still remembered the last time they had celebrated her birthday, in Hogsmeade -- it had been amazing, and he hoped this time would be even better.

Mmmm, good day today.

Alice was all happy. It was all written on her face. She was with him, what else she could want?!! She didnt care the weather, the crowd of Hogsmead, nothing. Nothing was important to her right now. Clinging to his arm she walked inside the area as taking his gentleman thing into her mind, she giggled, "Thank you, Fyo!" she leaned her head sideway and kissed on his cheek.

What a perfect way to start a celebration. Fyo closed his eyes as her lips brushed his cheek, then opened them and grinned at her. He would wait for his turn. But, for now, he had other things on his mind.

Like... pulling up a chair for her. Fyo gave her half a smile as he waited for her to sit down, then sat down himself. "Do you want butterbeer?" he asked her, cheerfully. "Or do you want your present, first?"

Ah yes, her present.

Hopefully, she would like that.

God, he was so good. What a gentleman he is!! Alice smiled at him, "Thank you, love" she said and took the seat without taking eyes off him.

What she wanted first? Present? Butterbeer? No. YOU!

Alice flashed a bright pink shade on her cheek at the thought but kept it inside her mind. "Mmmm..Present first.." she couldnt wait for to see what he had bought her. Fyo's present was so special to her. Her eyes glinted in anticipations. Wow!

Fyo liked it when she called him 'love.' It sounded endearing, far more than a lot of other ... nicknames he had. "No problem," he said, grinning down at her. Because he was in a good mood.

A REALLY good mood.

He gave her an inquiring, little look as she blushed, but let the matter pass. She could think -- oh, she so could. "I should have known," he laughed, at her response. "Well... You have to close your eyes first!" Because that was ... cool and mysterious, right? "I love you, by the way."
