Ah, homework, was it? Evan felt guilty. He too had homework to do, which he had been postponing. He had to find Lyra sometime to do the Transfiguration. And apparently this time wasn't suitable.

"I'm second too." he said, and sipped his beer. At least there was something he could do while not talking. He thought for a wise thing to ask him, but his mind just froze. Yay for the beer.

"Cool...." he said fake taking a sip of the butterbeer. He stuck his tongue on the rim so none went in his mouth. He didn't want to get wasted.

Fallon noticed that both of the guys were starting to feel very awkward. What should I say?! Anything! "So...what's your favorite flavor of ice cream?" She knew it was really random, but in awkward situations, Fallon was really random.

Kylie practically ran in. She was wearing another dress, this one emerald green with blue accents, her hair was in it's natural 'Hollywood' appeal. Curled at the ends, of course Kylie hated it it--but it was nice that she didn't ever have to do it. Her hair was up partially in a half pony tail. She was, again, wearing a little amount of makeup (which she didn't do often). And, again, she looked as if she'd stepped out of some sort of magazine--though more casual than yesterday's ensemble. She saw Fallon and Nate sitting at a table with who she assumed to be Fallon's boyfriend. Kylie was wearing the bracelet Nate had given her. She tried to calm herself and walk up to the table. "I'm so sorry I'm late, you guys!"

Fallon looked up as Kylie joined them. "Hey Kylie," Fallon said as images from their last meeting went through her mind. "Evan this is Kylie, Nate's girlfriend and Kylie this is Evan, my awesome boyfriend." Fallon said grinning as she introduced the two of them.

Kylie smiled brightly at Evan and Fallon. Aww...they're so cute.. she thought. She stuck out her hand to Evan, sliding into a chair next to Nate. "Hi. Nice to meet you." She looked around, it appeared as if she was walking in on some sort of an awkward moment, "What'd I miss?" She asked.

"Nothing really," Fallon said. "Basically, just the introductions and a long awkward moment." She took another sip of her butterbeer. "Got anything that can break that moment?"

Kylie laughed at Fallon's wit. It was refreshing. "Hmm. I was just reading a muggle short-story by Richard Connell. It was actually rather interesting?" Kylie offered.

Evan felt if he didn't say anything, this would get even more awkward, and end up badly. Ah, a good topic to talk about, what do you think of the lessons, what is your favourite. Just as he was to ask it, Fallon asked a total random question. He grinned to himself. That was why he loved Fallon, she was so unique and such a life-saviour. Choclit. Much, much choclit. But then an eleven-year-old film star went in, and Evan froze for a tiny moment. Wow. She was really beautiful even at the age of eleven. As she came closer, Evan sawthe make up. Artificial beauty. Bleh. Not his type.

He chuckled softly at Fallon's introduction. Awesome. Yes, he was awesome. He shook the girl's hand shortly. And he was shocked how relaxed Fallon was, that she was making jokes. Personally, he couldn't remember any more stressful moment, including his small duel with Professor Lawson. Girls... Such interesting creatures.

"Fallon said you are a first year," he started cautiously towards the girl. "So, you liked the school?" Yes, it was much easier to talk to the actress than to the boy. Oopsie, he had just interrupted the speaker. "Ah sorry." he muttered, and turned back to his beer.

Nate listened to the girls talk and just sat back. He wrapped his arm around Kylie's waist and listened intently.

Fallon could tell that Nate thought her question was weird by the way he stated his answer. She then turned to look at the peope in front of her.

Fallon heard Evan laugh as she introduced him. She was going to comment on what Kylie said when Evan asked her a question. Yes, awkward moment is gone. It's only because Kylie walked in. I know, but at least it's over and we can have a normal conversation. Fallon waited for Kylie or Nate to answer Evan's question.

Kylie laughed. She felt gross, even the slight amount of makeup she was wearing felt unnatural, especially for a second day in a row. She never wore makeup two days in a row.. it was a disgusting feeling.

"Yeah. First year. And I like it, it's really.. made things easier. Lot less stressful in a way." Kylie noted.

She couldn't stand the gross feeling anymore, "Um... well, could you all excuse me for a moment?" She needed to take off the stuff now. Yesterday was a special scenario. Even though she was only wearing mascara and lipgloss now, she felt.. dirty. "I just need to run and do something." Yeah. Run to the bathroom and become human again. She thought.

Nate let Kylie by so she could go, wherever she was going. He noticed she was wearing the braclet and his heart melted. "So, what's your favorite teacher?" he said not paying attention to the pervious conversation.

"Okay," Fallon said grinning at Kylie. "We'll still be here when you get back."

Fallon turned to the two guys that were still sitting there. "Professor Ashby is by far my favorite professor! I love his randomness!"

She then remembered what she had said earlier. "So...sorry about that really random question earlier. When things get awkward, I tend to get very random."

"Its ok." he said taking an actual sip. I wonder where Kylie went. Hmmm...She looked pretty today. It was awesome.

Kylie came back, totally makeupless as usual. She felt better, when she looked in the mirror she thought she looked better too. She'd never understood why girls were expected to wear makeup.. but, she partook in the practice on special events anyway. She silently questioned why she did that..
She came back to the table, "I'm so sorry, again. I just felt a little strange." Kylie concluded. She felt sick to her stomach, that's what she'd felt. But the feeling had passed when she washed the light amounts of makeup off.
"I must seem so rude! Forgive me." She asked, sliding back in next to Nate. She slipped her hand into his after she'd sat down.

Nate squeezed her hand. "Its ok. We were just talking about our professors." he said. He wanted to say : You look beautiful either way. You look beautiful everyday. But he thought Evan would be a bit dramatic. He didn't want to say it in front of Fallon either.

Fallon was going to say something, when Kylie returned. Nate and her were so cute together. She looked at Evan, just wondering what was going through his mind. "So...who's your favorite professor Kylie?"

Kylie smiled, nudging herself a bit closer to Nate. "Oh! I really like Professor Ashby.. but although I've never spoken one-on-one with Professor Lawson, I really enjoyed his class too." Kylie blushed slightly, realizing she was being a bit more.. nerdy than she would like to let off. She liked learning, she loved learning. It was something she found difficult concealing. "Sorry. I really enjoy learning." She hoped this wouldn't make for an uncomfortable atmosphere. For most of her life until now, she'd basically had nothing but books and her family. Obviously she liked learning, it was really one of the only things she'd ever done.

"Its fine. This way you can help me with odd spells and classes I'll probably flunk." he said with a fake smile. He leaned over and kissed her cheek. He rubbed his thumb on his hand.

"I love Ashby too! Lawson's okay though." Fallon was shocked that she had this in common with Kylie. "Don't worry, I'm kinda nerdy too. Growing up and last year all I had was my books, my journal, and a few friends."

Fallon noticed that Nate was starting to get really lovey-dovey with Kylie. She hoped that Evan wouldn't start to fell awkward again because of this. She started to think that she wanted Evan to act like that towards her, but shook it out of her mind, knowing she would rather act like that when it was just Evan around.

Kylie was so happy being there with Nate, everything felt so natural. When he pecked her cheek, she blushed, hoping Evan and Fallon wouldn't mind. Chills ran up her arm as he stroked her hand.

Kylie was glad that Fallon didn't seem as cold to her as she originally had. "That's so weird! It's almost the same for me.. except in the muggle world. Every weekend I went to my grandmother's to learn spells.. history.. that sort of stuff. My mum was a squib, but I somehow caught the gene.. my parents still wanted me to live in the muggle world and attend muggle school, even after we found out I was a witch when I was eight. So, I sort of lived a double life. Learning two worlds at once. You know? I couldn't really have muggle friends because they might find out. So, it was me, my books, and my family." Kylie couldn't help the words coming out of her mouth. She wanted Fallon to trust her, and this was a sort of connection that they had. "Strange." She concluded.

Nate noticed it was getting akward so he stopped being so lovely with his girlfriend. He just held her hand under the table and looked at Fallon. He wanted this date to be over. "I umm...have to go....do something...I'll be right back." he said not sure where he was going to do. He got up but left his bag in his seat. He went in the bathroom and splashed water on his face. Stop embarassing yourself! You look like a fool! Be normal! he thought to himself.

Fallon nodded her head as Kylie explained. "My parents are both pureblood, but my dad loved muggles so I had a muggle upbringing. I never really had friends for the fact that the other kids thought I was weird."

Fallon looked as Nate went to get up. "Okay." She noticed Evan was being rather quiet.

Nate came back looking normal. He sat down and held Kylie's hand under the table. He had a slight urge to rub her leg but he went agianst it. "Cool." he said
