"They aren't if you're well prepared for them, its the same for NEWTs." Raven said then rolled her eyes sarcastically then pulled her hood up over her brown hair, smoothing it out. Needless to say that she was a little intimidated by the OWLs but she wasn't going to show that at all, there was too many other things to think about at the moment to be concerned over some exam.

"Yes I am actually, came from Galway Academy in Kilkenny, Ireland." This school was so much different than what she was used to but Hogwarts definitely proved to be much more interesting that she thought it would be. "Not that I enjoy homework actually, but it needs to be done in order to earn points."

"Right, of course, I mean, that's how it should be with everything." Yeah, so it wasn't going to be like extremely hard...just REALLY hard. BIG difference. "At least we get a break our 6th year before the NEWTS." Whit smiled, realized that the 6th year wouldn't be to rest, then frowned a little bit. 'Darn exams.'

'Galway? And I thought Hogwarts was a weird name.' "Ooooh, so that's why you have that accent, that would make sense." No duh, Whit! "I've always wanted to visit Ireland...just cause it seems pretty and peaceful...one of these days." Sure, Whit visiting Ireland one day was possible because anything is possible if you just believe (lol). "Of course not because enjoying homework that isn't fun is....odd. Very, very odd," Whit replied and laughed. No other word fit better.

"Ah that's true in a way, however you should be preparing for the NEWTs in your 6th year unless you want to go into the 7th year totally freaking out; at least you can relax over the summer cause that's what I intend to do while I go to my summer home in Sydney, Australia." Raven nodded, she wasn't going waste her time studying when she could be working on relaxing which was a full time job.

"It is a beautiful place, considering I lived there for the past 14 years. If you do eventually go, go to Kilkenny, its an absolutely gorgeous city." she said giving a bit of a recommendation, it helped when you lived in the place that someone wanted to visit. "That would make you a Ravenclaw if you enjoyed homework that wasn't fun."

Forgetting everything Raven had said before Australia, Whit burst. "I wanna go to Australia! Especially SYDNEY, that would be soooo cooool!" She was going to spend her summer in Australia while Whit went back home, as usual, and slept in everyday. 'Not that I don't enjoy sleeping in, of course.'

"Kilkenny, I'll try and remember that...and if I don't and I do end up going to Ireland I'm sure I'll hear about it there and it'll bring back memories of today." Of course, that was assuming she'd end up in Ireland. Whit knew she wouldn't be able to remember that name though because she was going to be too busy trying to remember the name Raven Athlon. "Oh, I met this one Ravvie one time...she was pretty into her work...and then I have a friend, Em, who's a Ravvie and I don't think he's all "homework is fun" and stuff...I'm almost positive he's not like that." She couldn't really imagine Em having fun while doing homework, unless it was a fun assignment.

Raven almost spit out a mouth full of butterbeer when Whit practically spazzed out when the word Australia was mentioned. "I've never been myself, so I thought that I'd go this summer with a couple friends." she swallowed the butterbeer that was in her mouth.

"Things there are pretty awesome, there's a lot of medieval buildings there which are still in amazing condition." Just talking about Kilkenny made her miss home, all she wanted was to go back there and hang out with her friends.

Whit couldn't help but laugh at Raven, watching her was really funny. [b]"Sorry about that...I just really like Australia," she replied trying not to laugh and feeling her cheeks turn a light shade of pink. "That's like really cool. I WOULD go on a trip this summer...buuuut I think I'll be staying home."

Medieval...yeah...awesome, it wasn't really her thing, but whatever. "That's nice. Did you get to go back home over the Christmas break?" Whit had been planning on going home but she decided to stay at the school and catch up in her classes.

Raven took a sip of her butterbeer and swallowed it before she started talking again. "It's alright, I totally understand. I don't want to stay home, my parents honestly drive me crazy, I bought their summer house right from under them without them figuring it out." she said then smirked slightly and rested the bottle back on the table.

"Couldn't, I mean I would have loved to but I was too busy with planning the summer trip and studying for my OWLs." she shrugged slightly then began fiddling with a ring that was on her right pinky.

'She bought her parent's summer house...without telling her parents?' "Th-that's....nice? Good to know. Yeah." Definitely good to know...although Whit didn't know WHY is was so good to know.

"Aww, well I'm sorry you couldn't visit, maybe next break....after summer...which would be Christmas, okay then!" That didn't work out well at all, she just wanted to bring Raven's hopes up. Then Whit noticed the very pretty ring sitting on her pinky. "That's like really pretty."

"Well I'll have some time before the Hogwarts Express arrives to visit home, I'm not spending my whole summer in Australia although I could." Raven commented with another slight shrug, she was distracted by thoughts of home until Whit brought up her ring. "Oh thanks, it was my grandmother's, she gave it to me for my 9th birthday." she took the ring off and handed it to Whit so she could get a better look at it.

Carmela pushed open the door to the three broomsticks. It was warmer inside.
She grabbed a butterbear on the way to a emptly table. Carmela put her legs up on the table, and made her self comforteble.

She wasn't sure were she was off next, but that shoudn't be to hard, there is a lot of things to do.. right?

Lyddia walked into the Three Broomsticks and spotted Blair. She sneaked up behind her to give her a scare, maybe to reanact the last Butterbeer incident?

Lyddia strode over and put her mouth near Blair's ear, then, "WHAT'S UP?"

Ha.

Carmela jumped from her chair, and gave a loud shrik. Luckly her butterbear didn't spill..

She placed her butterbear on the table, she turned around to see who her mistery monster was.
T'was Lyddia.. She should have guessed. Who else.

She gave a smirk, and crossed her arms "Hello.."

Darn.
Well.
Whatever.
"Hey, Blair. What brings you here on this fine day?" ()

"Hold that thought." Lyddia said to Blair. She went and grabbed herself a Butterbeer then came back and repeated,
"So, what brings you here on this fine day?"

"well, nice of you to ask.. I thought, it's been I busy week, it's time for me to spend a little more time outside, break free a bit, you know? Have some fun?"
Carmela ginned. She ran I hand through her hair and smiled.

"What about you love? How've you been doing? getting any homework done?

Carmela reached over for her butterbear and drank down the rest of what was in her mug.

Lyddia slid into the bench in front of Blair, groaning, "Arggghh, homework....right." She bit her lip. "Shush. Don't tell. They haven't noticed yet. I'll catch up, soon really, it just...takes a while."

Lyddia took a sip of her Butterbeer stressfully.

Nicoletta saw Lyddia sitting over at one of the tables. Hmmm, I wonder if I should go say hi? she thought. She decided to give her a minute, she was obviously talking to someone. She ordered a butterbeer, paid and then went over to talk to Lyddia. "Hey Lyddia!" Nicoletta said cheerfully.

Carmela put her legs back up on the table
"Hmm I thought so.. and i'm sure you'll catch up very soon define catch up" Carmela ginned.

"Anyhow, what do you have planned for today? Anything fun?"

"Talk about febuary.. find anyone special?" Carmela ginned, t'was suck fun to play with Lyddia's mind.

Gasp. Mean.

"Catch up as in, do the work." Lyddia shook her head in disbelief. "Duh."

Nothing planned for today, thanks Blair for mentioning VALENTINE'S DAY.
Geesh, it's like she didn't know Lyddia at all.
Oh wait, she hadn't told Blair about all that.

Then, nevermind.

"Nothing planned and no special someone though you might be suggesting Evan, I suppose? But I told you." Lyddia leaned closer to Blair and said, clearly, "He has a girlfriend."

Lyddia took a sip of her Butterbeer when Nicoletta came up to say hi. She almost choked on her drink.

*coughcough* "Hi, Nicoletta, how are you?"

Carmela looked to her side. And saw a girl, Carmela smiled.

"Why Lyddia why don't you introduce me, hi I'm Carmela" Carmela smiled.
She took a sip of her butterbear, and placed it back down.

"Anyways, Lyddia, it's fine it's not like a have a valentine either"

Lyddia laughed. "Why introduce you if you've already done it yourself?" She took a long sip of her Butterbeer and put down the mug lightly.

She laughed again and said to both the girls, "Maybe we can all be each other's Valentines." She lifted her mug to take a sip, but put it back down before it could reach her lips. "That is, unless, Nicoletta also doesn't have a Valentine...?"

Yeah, she went there.

Carmela giggled " If so Nicoletta, you're very lucky, unlike Lyddia and I, we can't seem to get a special someone for our selves"

Carmela turned to Lyddia. "Right Lyddia?"

Lyddia scowled. "Shut up, already. Stop mocking me."
Lyddia turned to Nicoletta again, "So. Special someone?"

Lexi held the door open for Lorcan as they arrived at the Three Broomsticks. "Come on, it's so cold out here, let's get inside. Drinks are on me." she said hurrying Nemean along.

Lorcan looked at Lexi as he walked past her, dropping her hand. It felt odd to have her hold open the door and pay for the drinks, very ungentlemanly. He frowned slightly. "I'll get a table then."

Lexi smiled at Lorcan and walked off toward the counter to order their butterbeers. She knew the perpetual gentleman would be a little miffed about this one!

Coming to the table that Lorcan had chosen she sloshed a bit of butterbeer as she set the mugs on the table. "So, what else do you want to get into today Nemean?" she asked as she took a deep gulp from her mug.
