"Like what?" Katlyn said as shetook a sip of her butterbeer. She was bored right now and would talk about anything. Not knowing what to talk about shse leaned back on her seat and let either Lucy or Alexandra start the conversation.

Lexi laughed at Lorcan and said, "That's really brilliant.!:

She smiled at the two girls and said, "Well, I don't really know what to talk about either. I will say that I have had a blast playing in all of this snow, but my hair is going to be a wreck after this." She ran a hand through her messy hair and sighed. That was about as girlly as she could get. She never really had many female friends, the boys played better pranks.

Jason walked in out of the cold air. He liked to drink at the "Three Brooomsticks." "Hi Alexandria" Jason called out to her. Jason took a table by himself and started drinking his butterbeer.

Lorcan heard Lexi complain about her hair. "Do you want me to dry it for you? Like I did mine when you launched that snow boulder at my head?" He said with a grin. "I know what I'm doing, I have to with this mop." He gestured at his mop of uncontrollable curls.
He drained the dregs out of his bottle of butterbeer and looked at Lexi expectantly.

"THat would be lovely. I have yet to master that spell and am afraid that I would catch my hair on fire." she said and leaned her head nearer to Lorcan so he could work his magic.

Seeing Jason walk in she threw up her hand and said, "Hey!"

Lorcan moved a little bit closer to Lexi and started to very gently dry her hair. Some of her hair wrapped around his wand and he accidentally gave her soft curls. The sweet smell of her hair tickled his nose again and he couldn't help but smile. He then suddenly remember that they were in a very public place and blushed.

"Umm, is anyone ready for another drink?" Without waiting for an answer he jumped up, banging his leg hard on the table and walked to the bar as quickly as possible, his stomach burning with embarrassment.

Lexi loved the curls Lorcan had made in her hair. She ran her hands through it and turned to tell him thank you as he got up and ran off, bumping around the table as he went. "Hmm... guess he was thirsty." she said with a grin. Odd little fellow he was, but she was odd as well, so she found it quite endearing.

Looking to Rafe she said, "Aren't you on the House Quidditch Team? Have you guys started practicing yet?" She loved Quidditch as was very interested in how the team was shaping up.

Lucy watched the conversation between Alexandra and Lorcan with a smile on her face. Lorcan blushed a lot--he seemed quite shy. She couldn't help but notice that maybe there was something going on between them--but she wasn't one to intervene in those kind of things.

Rafe finally came out of his trance and said something.
She noticed that he blushed when talking hearing the phrase "pretty girls."
She couldn't help but smile and a laugh escaped her lips.
She let the boys continue their conversation and turned to Kat and Alexandra.

"So girls, let's talk about soemthing girly since the guys here are off on their on track!" she said.
This is just what she needed--some girl time.
And she took one last sip of her butterbeer as the bottle was empty.

"Yes! I am the Keeper," Rafe said proudly about being on the Quidditch team. "Our first practice was disastrous, I was completely off my game and then it began to rain of all things!" Rafe shivered a little he didn't want to think about it. "The last one we had went well, I think once the team really comes together we have a great chance at beating Ravenclaw for our first match!"

Rafe turned to Kat and Lucy he didn't want them to feel left out. "So whatever happened to this girly talk that's supposed to make us men squirm?"
He said with a laugh and slightly curious as to what they had to say.

Lorcan paid for the drinks and looked at the group from the bar. Ifs, buts and maybes swam around his head. If I go sit next to Rafe, will Lexi think I'm mad at her? Maybe the others will think I'm showing off, buying all the drinks? If they think that, they won't want to be my friend. If I go sit next to Lexi, will I be able to stop myself holding her hand?

He walked carefully back to the table, carrying the bottles of butterbeer. He settled nervously back next to Lexi, sitting slightly further away than he had been before.

Lorcan nodded, the sentiment of respcet people you disagree with not lost on him. "So can I take it you've had a disagreement with some one? I have... It wan't pleasant. I wish I hadn't lost my temper." He frowned, realising this conversation wasn't going to making the best impression.

Lucy watched the ongoings of conversation between Alexandra, Lorcan and Rafe. She didn't know why she was quiet all of a sudden. But it was clear to what was happening when Lorcan ran from the table after curling Alexandra's hair.
She smiled at him politely and knew how he felt.

To Rafe, she said, "You wanna hear this girl talk? Ok then," she said as she looked around and continued, "So, Alexandra, do you have a secret crush on anyone?" Lucy said slyly, knowing it was a touchy subject, but after all, she only joking to make Rafe feel uncomfortable. She looked over at Lorcan quickly to see what his reaction might be. He seemed extremely shy, and she knew how he felt about Alexandra--hopefully, both of them felt the same about each other.

"Only kidding, you don't have to tell me!" Lucy laughed.
She grabbed another butterbeer from the ones that Lorcan had bought, and took a sip.

"Hey, no fair, Rafe was supposed to buy the second round!" she said as she laughed again.

To Kat, she said, "Ooh, we should tell Alexandra about our plan to throw dungbombs at Kay, the girl was annoying her!" Lucy said excitedly as she looked over at Alexandra, hoping it didn't sound too dangerous to her.

"Well, I think Lorcan is great, if that's what you're really getting at. I have nothing to hide." Alexandra said quietly, blushing deeply. Taking a deep drink from her butterbeer she sighed.

"Dungbombs you say? THat sounds brilliant! When, where? I am in!" Alexandra said bouncing up and down a bit in her chair. She loved michief. Just not the kind that could her into MAJOR trouble. A little prank here and there was nothing to worry about.

Lorcan spluttered and slopped butterbeer down the front of his robes.Smooth, really smooth. He looked at the floor, his face burning.


Lorcan shrugged when Lucy said it was Rafe's turn to pay. he started to panic though when they said that they were going to dungbomb Kay. "She doesn't mean to be like that you know, she was just being a bit... umm... possessive. She's had a bit of a rough time, maybe we should just leave her alone." He still felt guilty for shouting at her.

Alexandra wrinkled her brow a bit and looked sideways at Lorcan. Where was the fun in that? "It's just a laugh, Lorcan. It's not like we'd be hurting her." Lexi said to him a bit sharply.

Lorcan frowned deeply. "Oh come off it Lexi, you saw how she got. She's..." he struggled to find the right words again. "I just think that she's been hurt enough. Besides, there are other ways to get her back." He gave her a little smile. "It's going to be burning her up for us to be friends."

Narrowing her eyes at Lorcan she simply shrugged and said, "Whatever Lorcan." She would just have to play the prank on the little brat away from Lorcan! "You know, I think I am ready to head back to the castle. I need to go find Wasabi and send some letters off to home. I am sorry for being so abrupt, but I must go." She looked around at the others and said, "It has been really great catching up with you all. Rafe good luck with Quidditch and Lucy, Kat, see you all later also. Lorcan if you wish to accompany me, you may." Without waiting for an answer she started to leave the table.

Lorcan was slightly taken aback by Lexi's frosty tone. He wasn't sure that he wanted to go with her, but he stood up and said "It was nice to meet you all." He folloed Lexi out of the pub, worried aboit what she was going to say.

She smiled at everyone and took off for the door with a little wave.

"Yeah, it was a bad run in...that's all," Rafe quickly ended the conversation. It wasn't exactly the most light of conversation. Rafe decided to step up and go pay, he went to the bar and ordered three more warm butterbeers, since it appeared that Alex and Lorcan might be leaving. He brought the three steaming cups back.

"Here you are ladies," he said as he sat down two of the mugs in front of Kat and Lucy. Technically, this was more of a third round, but he was drinking them down so fast, he felt like he was losing track. "You'll be full of butterbeer before the day is up. I could always get you something at one of the other shops, it's only fair, since you did fall down."

Rafe listened as they were discussing ways of revenge against this Kay person, someone he still had yet to meet. Hmm...dungbombs...not bad, a bit childish, but if executed correctly it could be quite a stinker. But, before it was discussed any further, Alex was heading to the door. "Bye Alex, try and stay warm!" He chuckled a little. He waved at Lorcan, "If you ever want to get away from the ladies, send me an owl or something!" Lorcan seemed like a nice bloke. He felt like he made a new friend.

"So, much for girl talk," he said as he turned back to Kat and Lucy. "Unless you have things to discuss amongst yourself...or if you have any questions for me, feel free to ask, just nothing to personal," he quickly added.

Lucy watched the debate between Lorcan and Alexandra, wishing she had never brought it up. She didn't know that Kay was a friend of Lorcan's. Oh, well, if Lorcan didn't know waht they did, the better. She waved to both of them as they left abruptly.


"Oh, you got us butterbeers, that's good enough!" she said sweetly as she drank from her fresh mug.
To his comment about the girl talk, she said, "Yeh, I'm sorry I brought it up, that was kind of awkward."
"Yes, I want to ask you something. Who was that girl that cornered you back at the Lake?" Lucy asked. She couldn't remember if Rafe had told her or not.

Kevin walked into the three broomsticks with Eva and said "So what to drink then miss Longwood" Kevin had to laugh cause Eva was older than him but she was his friend and of course she was concerned about him

His laughed was contagious and Eva had to laugh as well.
"I would loove to have a butterbeer, my kind sir. Yourself?" she asked back, with the same gentle manners he had used. His thought were right on some thing: she was concerned about him. She had seen how death could change, break and modify people and she didn't want her friend Kevin going through that. He was too young to have to deal with all that it was wrong in that world.

Kevin laughed and said "I shall be having a butterbeer myself miss" Kevin went up to the bar and ordered two butterbeers and paid for them and took them over to where Eva was standing and said "Here you go Eva on me"

She accepted the drink he was offering her, without protesting. Much.
"Hey! I should be the one paying. After all, I wa sthe one inviting you.According to muggle, that is a straight clue on who pays the drinks." she replied immediately, drink a sip of her drink right after speaking.
"Awesome as usually." she paused to taste the butterbeer on her mouth. "Why don't we make a toast?"

Kevin took a sip of his butterbeer and said "Yeah what should we make a toast about" Kevin knew that he was off to asia and Eva was graduating so they had to make the time they had left special
